ニッポンも色々な大変な事に見舞われて、冒険者諸君の中にも元気を失っている人も多いと思う。 しかし、最も大事なのは今。今現在の瞬間を自分に悔いなく生きる事である。 それは人間をはじめ生物の個体の未来は常に不確定であるからである。 不確定な要素に巻き込まれた後、後悔しない為には常に現在を自分なりに大切に生きるという意識が大切である。 過去や未来で無く、今にゃ。今現在を大事にして欲しいにゃ！

まず第一に、アリア・テ・ラリアの中でハトの丸焼き味などと軽率に発言するのは控えた方が良いにゃ。 アリア・テ・ラリアにはおそろしい地獄耳を持つおそろしい鳩が存在する事を忘れずに…。 と、時すでに遅く君はもうアリア・テ・ラリアに存在しないかもしれないが…。 質問の島の事だが、それはル・アビデの事かにゃ？ ル・アビデにはこういう古の神話がある。 種族を越えて仲むつまじかった２人の男女にある時妖精がささやき、 ２人は今までの仲の良さが嘘であったかのように豹変し、険悪な間柄になり それによって多くの悲劇が生まれた、と。 神話であるので、どこかのロマンチストが謎多きこの島に想いを馳せて創作した可能性が強いが 確かに以前私がこの島をベルナデットと訪れた時、争いに使われたと思わせる謎めいた建造物が数多くあった。 この神話の作者は恐らく、かつてこの島で２つの集団の対立があったことは確信していたのだろう。 その争いを叙情的に神話として表現したのではないだろうか。 しかし、残念ながらその争いが具体的にどういうものであったかは 今や誰も知らないし、私も本格的にル・アビデを調査してみないと分からないにゃ。

君からは個性的なオーラというかなかなか独特の感性を感じるにゃ。 もしかしたら将来アリア・テ・ラリアいちの詩人リーゼロッテと言われる日が来るかもしれない。 さて、歌はアリア・テ・ラリアでも人々の生活と密接である。 ノイグラード王国の多くの聖歌や労働から生まれる炭鉱歌や農業歌、酪農歌、町の人の生活の上で生まれた町人歌など 地域と密接な歌が多い。多くの流行り歌は生活を楽しくしたり物事を効率よりおぼえる為に生まれた事が多い。 それとは別に芸術都市のローゼンハイムでは若い音楽家が神話や伝説を題材とした叙情的な歌を数多く生み出している。 有能な若い音楽家は王宮で演奏を披露したり、国から多くの援助を受けたりもしている。 しかし、歌を人の心を扇動するという理由から国を乱すような曲を作る芸術家は厳しい処罰を受けているという暗部もある。 流行り歌というのと意味が違うが、誰もが知っている歌といえばやはり『浄化の祈り』だにゃ。

こんにちはゼクトバッハさんニョアさん。 ゼクトバッハさんの作り上げるこの幻想的で魅力的な世界にどっぷり嵌まり結構経ちました。 当初数学が大嫌いだった私ですが、2章の影響で数学を頑張って理解してみようと思い、 とりあえず数に心を開いてみたらとてつもなく面白い事に気づき、今では数学がすっかり大好きになりました。 他にも哲学や語学に歴史、神話などを勉強する度アリア・テ・ラリアとの共通点などを見出し、よりその世界に興味 がわき、考察に使うためにも知識が深まっていきました。 支離滅裂でまどろっこしい文になってしまいましたが、簡潔に言えば「知識を広めるきっかけを下さってありがとう ございました」です。これからも自由にちまちま勉強しながらも考察を続けていきたいと思います。 (冒険者いかより)

意味合いが異なるが、チキュウの遺伝生物学の書物でこんな事が書かれている。

冒険者諸君ようこそこの地へ。 私の名前はニョア。Nyoah the Memorycat。記憶猫のニョアだ。 Zektbachの吟遊の軌跡についての記録者であり、この場所を管理をする者でもある。 君たちとZektbachを繋ぐ役目を持っていると言い換えても良い。 The Epic of Zektbach / ニョアの手記 この場所はまだ開かれたばかりで、まだまだ未知なる物が数多く眠っているだろう。 もしも、諸君が路頭に迷うことがあれば私の名前を呼ぶがいいだろう。 その際には召喚アイテムであるカルカンウィスカスを右手に大きく掲げれば、 即ち、ニョアまっしぐらとなるであろう。

冒険者諸君、ごきげんよう。ニョアだって猫である。 Good day, adventurers. Even Nyoah is a cat.

唐突だが、ニョアは雷が苦手だ。 この間の大雨の日、大きな雷が私のすぐ傍に落ちて オスティヌスを差し置いて、ニョア真っ先に紙袋に隠れてしまった。 その時分Zektbachに 『おお、ニョアよ。頭隠して尻尾隠さずとはまさにうぬの事であるな。』 と言われ、一介の騎���猫であった私にとっては大きな恥辱であった。 これからは雷に対しても勇を呈して推して参る所存にゃ。 I know it's sudden, but Nyoah is not a fan of thunder. The other day, a big thunderbolt struck right next to me, and I was the first to hide in a paper bag, leaving Ostinus behind. That's when I told Zektbach "Oh, Nyoah, you are the one who hides your head but not your tail." It was a great shame for me, a knight cat. From now on, I'm going to show my courage and push forward against thunder as well.

さて、今回はSTORYページで新たな物語を追加したぞ。 さらに時系列が分かりやすいように、ニョアが年号を打って置いた。 どうにゃ？これで話の流れは掴みやすくなったであろう。 Now, I've added a new story to the Story page.

私が来ている服はノイグラードの伝統的な貴族衣装 ノーブルカーマインを猫用にカスタマイズした特注品である。 私は元来騎士猫であるが故、このような貴族の奢侈文弱な衣装はあまり好まないところだが 記録猫としての作業が多い今は、動きやすく軽いこの服は気に入っているにゃ。 The outfit I'm wearing is a custom-made version of the traditional noble costume of Noigllado.

1週間Zektbachの元を離れ、私はオスティヌスと一緒にピノノン島にバカンスに行って来た。

After a week away from Zektbach, I went on vacation with Ostinus to Pinon Island.

ピノノン島はリゾートとして有名な場所であり、大陸各地から数多くの人々が訪れていたぞ。

The island of Pinon is a famous resort and has attracted many people from all over the continent.

ところで、ここにはアリア・テ・ラリアで一番の釣り師であり私の釣りの師匠でもある ポッチョイ老人が住んでいるのだ。ちなみにポッチョイ老人も言葉を話せる猫である。

By the way, here lives old man Potchoy, who is the best fisherman in Aria Te'Laria and also my fishing master. By the way, old Potchoy is also a cat who can speak.

ポッチョイ老人と肩を並べて、海岸で釣りに夢中になっていたらニョアすっかり日焼けで真っ黒になった。

ピノノン島はモンテギュフィヨルドの独特な地形から色々な生態系が同居しており、多くの魚介類が生息している。

諸君らの世界は突き刺す様な暑い日々が続いていると思うが、元気だろうか？ ちなみに、ニョアは暑いところが苦手だ。ロシアンブルー種は毛の密度が濃いのだ。

I'm sure it's been piercingly hot in your world, but how are you?

By the way, Nyoah is not good in hot places. The Russian Blue breed has dense fur.

そんなときはイスファハンの露天で売っている秋刀魚の形と味をしているサーリーアイスが食べたくなる。

In such a case, I would like to eat surly ice cream, which has the shape and taste of an autumn swordfish, sold at a street vendor in Istaphan.

ニョアは猫であるが故、やはり魚は無視できないにゃ。

We are always traveling because Zektbach is wandering around the city.

Sometimes he lives on the banks of the river, other times he roosts in an empty old castle.

さて、今回はここを初めて訪れた者もいると思うので、このサイトがどういうものか今一度説明しよう。 このサイトはZektbach叙事詩をより深く知って頂くために用意したものである。 Zektbach叙事詩は君達の町にある遊技場、つまりゲームセンターに置いてある beatmaniaIIDXやpop'n musicといったBEMANIシリーズでZektbachの楽曲を選べば詩曲として楽しめるものだ。 しかしながら遊戯中の楽曲と映像だけだと、ほんのごく一部しか物語を知ることができない。 そこで、より楽しめるようにとこのサイトが開かれたのだ。 一体どういう物語にゃのか？それは諸君らも気になるところだと思うので叙事詩の生みの親であるZektbachに聞いてきた。

Since this is the first time for some of you to visit this site, let me explain once again what this site is all about.

This site is designed to help you learn more about the Epic of Zektbach.

The Epic of Zektbach can be enjoyed as a poem by selecting Zektbach's music in BEMANI series such as beatmaniaIIDX and pop'n music in the arcades in your town.

However, with only the music and video in play, only a small part of the story can be known.

That's why this site was opened so that you can enjoy it more.

What kind of story will it be? So I asked Zektbach, the creator of the epic, about it.

やあ、皆。我の名はZektbach。

Hello, everyone. My name is Zektbach.

この物語には章ごとに鍵となる人物がいて、それぞれに深いテーマを抱えている。

There is a key character in each chapter of this story, and each has its own deep theme.

例えば第1章の楽曲『シャムシールの舞』に登場するシャムシール。

For example, the Shamshir in the song "Shamshir's Dance" from Chapter 1.

彼女は１つの重いテーマを抱えているわけだ。

She has one heavy subject.

そのテーマは何なのか？それは皆が自ら考察して欲しいところだが…特別に大ヒントをお教えしよう。

What is the theme? That's something I want everyone to consider for themselves ...I'll let you in on a special hint.

君達が学校で習った歴史の授業を思い出すのだ。

Think back to the history lessons you learned in school.

……さて、ここで何人か眠ってしまったようだな。

...... Well, it looks like a few of us have fallen asleep here.

歴史の教科書を見ると色々な時代になぜか時代を超越した素晴らしい才能を持った者が必ずいるであろう。

If you look at history textbooks, you will find that in various periods of time, there are always people who somehow have a great talent that transcends the times.

皇帝、将軍、学者、文化人など様々な分野でそういった者を見ることができると思う。

I think we can see such people in various fields such as emperors, generals, scholars, and cultural figures.

それらの者を『すぎたるもの』と言うことにしよう。

Let's call them 'too much'.

『すぎたるもの』は何を残したか？それは一般的に言えば人類がより良くなる手段や方法、または反面教師としての記憶である。

What did "Too Much" leave behind? Generally speaking, it is a means or a way for humankind to improve, or, on the other hand, a memory as a teacher.

理念や知識、様式、または伝統という言葉にもできる。

It can be in terms of ideology, knowledge, style, or tradition.

そして、それらが集合したのが『文化』であって『文化』は交り合いながら様々な新しい『文化』を生む。

The result of all this is "culture", and as "cultures" mix and mingle, they give birth to various new "cultures".

生まれてきた新しい『文化』は、さらに他の『文化』と交り合って新しい『文化』を生んでゆく。

The new "culture" that is born will further mingle with other "cultures" to create a new "culture.

この様子はまるで諸君が代々祖先から受け継がれている遺伝子の様ではないか？

Isn't this just like the genes you have inherited from your ancestors from generation to generation?

世界に名を残した『すぎたるもの』が生んだものは、全人類の未来の方向を動かすほどの文化的な遺伝子だ。

What "Too Much" has produced that has left its mark on the world is a cultural gene that can move the future direction of the entire human race.

それが果して良いものなのか悪いものなのか。

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

シャムシールは古代の遺物リスタチアによって、この事について考えさせられる事になるのだ。

Shamshir was made to think about this by an ancient relic, Ristaccia.

ニョアが一言付け加えると、Zektbach叙事詩は中世風の架空の物語だが 実際は諸君の世界の物事に深く関わっている物語だと言っておこう。 そういう見方をすれば、諸君らは色々と答えを導き出せると思う。 これからSTORYページで綴られる物語を見て、おのおの考察を巡らせてもらうとニョアは嬉しいにゃ。

Nyoah adds that the Epic of Zektbach is a fictional medieval tale, but in reality, it is a story that is deeply connected to things in your world.

If you look at it that way, I think you can get a lot of answers.

Nyoa would be happy if you could take a look at the story on the Story page and give it some thought.

冒険者諸君ごきげんよう、吾輩は猫である。名前はまだニョアだ。 なんとこの度、絵師MAYAがふらりと現れてこのページに私の姿を描いてくれたぞ。 見るだけでなく、いろいろ試してみるとよい。 ただし、尻尾をあまりひっぱらないように…。

さて、今回も幾ばくかの便りに答えよう。

そういえば、ニョアさんは伝書鳩の仕事(？)以外は 普段何をしているのでしょうか。まさか、日向ぼっこ…？ （楽師ソオルより）

普段はZektbach叙事詩の膨大な情報を管理して記録をしているのだ。 現代風に言えば、記憶媒体。メモリーカードだ。 あと趣味といえば、紙袋に入ってあとずさりすることだにゃ。

Normally, they manage and record the vast amount of information in the Epic of Zektbach.

In modern terms, it is a storage medium. A memory card.

Another hobby of mine is backing away in a paper bag.

冒険者諸君からの多くの便り、ニョアとても感謝する。 あまりに多くの伝書鳩が届いたので、ニョア the 鳩まみれ、であった。 便りは全てZektbachに伝えておいたぞ。

I received so many pigeons that I was covered in pigeons.

I've passed on all the letters to Zektbach.

さて、便りを見ていると諸君らの職業は猫が多い様である。 私の様に文をしたためる事ができる猫がそこら中にいるとは、なんとも驚きな事であるな。 そんな中、私に関してもこのような便りを頂いた。

Well, from what I've read in the mail, it seems that many of your occupations involve cats.

I'm surprised to see that there are cats around who can write as well as I can.

In such a situation, I also received this letter about me.

何か伏字にしている所に禍々しいものを感じるが 私はそうのような種族では無い。ロシアンブルー種である。

私が好むのはカルカンウィスカスのみである。 中でもノイグラード王国北方の町、リーデンブルグの食材屋で売っている カルカンウィスカス・リーデン風きのこソテー味（超お買い得品��には、より一層まっしぐらであると言える。

The only one I prefer is Whiskas.

I can say that I am even more obsessed with the Kalkanwiskas Rieden-style sautéed mushrooms flavor (a super bargain), sold at the grocery store in Ridenburg, a town north of the Kingdom of Noigllado, can be said to be even more straightforward.

ニョアは送った伝書鳩食べませんか？

Would you like to eat the carrier pigeon I sent ?

この便りを読み上げている時に鳩達が小刻みに震えているのが見えたが 伝書鳩を食べると皆と連絡が取れなくなるので、食べたりはしないから安心するがよい。 …ぷくっとしててうまそうにゃ…、ではあるな。

As I was reading out this letter, I saw the pigeons trembling slightly.

If you eat the pigeons, you won't be able to communicate with everyone, so don't worry, I won't eat them.

...they look puffy and delicious...

ニョアは日々、皆がこの世界をより一層楽しめるように考えておる。 これからも楽しみにしていて欲しい。 では、さらばにゃ。
