Got hit with thoughts about Mahiru. Oh, Mahiru...

From what little we got to learn about both her and her "murder", it's clear she hadn't quite realized what she did wrong, that she didn't know her behavior was toxic

But

The very fact she was in Milgram means she was at very least aware that she did something wrong, since she felt like she was responsible for her boyfriend's death (after all, the prisoner has to feel guilt over their actions and think of it as murder to end up in Milgram)

She put up a happy smile and a carefree attitude, but what about her internal thought process?

Her first MV showed everything through the rose colored glasses, so to speak, the miscommunication in relationship, the "testing", calling him up late, etc. In her last MV, she finally realized, at least internally, that what she did ended up just hurting him.

But she still never got to learn what exactly she should have done, what she should have changed in her behavior, or if she's capable of changing at all.

She was just told her way of loving is wrong and that's it, before anyone even knew what she did. Hell, a lot of people still don't know what she did. A lot of people think she kidnapped him, or stalked him, or that she even quite literally killed him.

#Like. Imagine being told “you're toxic and evil and a murderer!” and then getting beat up #And then never being told what exactly did you do wrong #Like. Okay. And what do I do now to stop being toxic?#These things are literally encouraged by magazines. And online.
