Their app records and transcribes cell phones conversations, and the company has built an integration layer to enterprise AI and CRM systems that traditionally didn’t have access to voice data. The team is led by the co-founder of 3jam, one of the first group SMS and virtual number companies, which was acquired by Skype in 2011. Video Explaining Biologic Intelligence
Self-learning AI at the Edge requires an entirely different approach
I. The Problem With Current AI
It’s been said that General Intelligence is the holy grail of software since the dawn of Gates and Jobs. Current approaches to AI will never get us there. At their core, they are rigid math equations. A human must first go in and clean data, annotate it, then spend more time building AI models, running it in production, then going back to tweak it.
When I saw this to people have invested heavily in AI, including investors and developers, most of them get physically angry. They attack a different approach, they try to poke holes in it, or they say, “well that’s just reinforcement learning or you could do that with GANS”.
When you see people get angry because of what you’ve built, that’s when you know you’re onto something.
II. An Entirely New Approach to Intelligence
Last week we were in Silicon Valley presenting a 3-minute speech to a room of at least 500 corporate executives and investors at Plug & Play’s Summer Expo. After we gave this talk, we had a 7-hour line of people waiting to talk to us. The rest of the tables were completely empty save for ours.

I guess you could say this presentation was successful, but from our aspect we want to push humanity forward. And we can’t do it unless you come talk to us about your very specific problems.
We have a back-to-back demo video that shows two things, one right after the other, using the exact same software algorithm (Biologic Intelligence:
First our robotic rover avoiding obstacles presented in real-time the first time it has been turned on with zero training data.
Second our software beating a general intelligence test of pattern matching puzzle pieces from images it has never seen before with zero training data. It gets faster the longer it goes because, again, self-learning AI.
You might ask what underpins our “black box”.
We call it Biologic Intelligence because we are the first company in the universe to sell a product from successfully emulating animal Connectomes. If you don’t know what that term means, we highly suggest you Google it. After hundreds of conversations across the entirety of Silicon Valley there have only been a handful of humans that have heard of it.
Which is troubling because you would think the world’s most advanced technology center would understand the simplest term about human and animal sensory input, brain, and nervous system. But, when everyone is so focused on SAAS CRM apps, I suppose we get it.
It took us 6 years of hard-fought, self-funded R&D to get here. Boy, do we have the patents.
III. Customers Want It
But it’s also why we’re having commercial conversations with the industries below. And get this, it all came about in the last 3 months with a small, but highly leveraged and capable team.
Industrial IoT Platforms: predictive maintenance to prevent factory downtime.
Automotive: adaptable self-driving and obstacle avoidance from Black Swan events.
Mobile Handset Manufacturers: highly performant but low power AI running at the edge, on device.
Insurance: the data couldn’t be bigger, and profits are determined by actuarial pricing (wouldn’t you know it, I used to be an Actuary).
Algorithmic Trading: making a trading decision instantaneously from 100s of real-time streaming inputs requires a whole new kind of Intelligence algorithm.
Smart City: you thought a factory had a bunch of sensors? Imagine an entire city. No deep learning equation can perform in that type of massive multi-sensory environment.
Energy: real-time grid optimization when everyone plugs in their electric car at the same time is a big deal. Black and brown outs require distributed energy transfer and storage.
Health: 1% of the population suffers from seizures. Kids are dying. Current machine learning approaches can’t predict it, even when it’s happening. You need a self-learning system that can optimize its algorithm in real-time to detect something this complex.
Pharma: bacteria classification as well as robotic arms to move the next petri dish into place.
Everyone asks us why we don’t focus on a single industry. Does McDonald’s only sell to one kind of person? No, it’s because they sell the exact same hamburger to people from all walks of life.
Similarly, PROME sells the exact same software algorithm for all of these. That’s general intelligence folks. And also why people who are trying to understand it using narrow intelligence metrics like Deep Learning won’t ever get it.
