Seungcheol: Going outside for a drive.

After a long day of responsibilities all you want to do is sleep in your cozy blankets, but Seungcheol has better plans so he calls you in the middle of the night saying he’s coming to your home. Going out with your bf wasn’t in your plans, but it’s not a bad idea at all: There’s nothing like being passenger princess and spending some quality time with your favorite person in the world.

What is more important, sleeping or having the chance to see Seungcheol after a tiring week where your schedules could never meet? One single call was enough as you jumped into his car, and went through the city streets for a ride.

Your head tilted slightly to one side, and your eyes would squint every now and then, until you shook your head to wake yourself up and let out a big yawn that you covered with both hands.

“Do you want a coffee to shake off the sleep?” Cheol asked with a playful tone.

You raised an eyebrow, looking at him with a grimace, his eyes were fixed on the road. “I don’t think it’s a good idea to have coffee after eleven at night.”

“True, but I know a place that serves the best hot cocoa in town.”

“Sounds good, but… Where are we going?”.

Seungcheol parked in a square, the view was simply beautiful and captured all your attention. The lights conveyed an inexplicable sense of tranquility, the decorated and sparsely trafficked streets were calm and beautiful.

You felt as if your worries and responsibilities were fading away; only the here and now mattered. You sighed in relief, and when you turned to look at the driver’s seat, the first thing your eyes saw was a mug with a hot drink that emitted a very tempting aroma.

“Is this for me?” you asked curiously, your cheeks flushing lightly as you accepted it.

Cheol smiled, his dimples showing up. “As I said, I’ll take you to the place that serves the best hot cocoa.”

“Did you really drive through the city at night and do all this, just for me?” your voice sounded almost like a whisper, a bit embarrassed but with a very noticeable hint of happiness.

“Who else would I do it for?” Seungcheol asked rhetorically as he poured himself a cup as well. “I still have more in the thermos, if you’d like.”

“Do you know what would be good right now?” you took a sip of your drink and looked at him with mischievous eyes.

He returned the same look, and without saying anything more, he stretched out his hand and brought over a bag that was on the back seat, right behind you. “Did you think I would forget the butter cookies?”

You both laughed as one, clinking your cups to cheer and spent some quality time there, enjoying a pleasant moment filled with laughter and anecdotes. Then Seungcheol gave you a little tour to appreciate the beautiful Christmas decorations on the city streets.

Tomorrow would be another day where you could go to bed early.

Wonwoo: Going for a walk and taking pictures.

Passionate about filming, photography and also you. He’s always willing to spend moments together and keep evidence of those happy memories. So don’t be surprised if he calls you close midnight time just to hang out, talking about your stuff and taking pictures with the precious Christmas decoration in downtown.

After a long day filled with work and stress, the last thing you wanted was to put on a complicated outfit and do your makeup to go out. When Wonwoo called past ten to come pick you up, you felt tempted to refuse and tell him to just stay at your apartment, but he insisted so enough to make you accept his offer.

You walked together through the city streets, admiring the beautiful decorations on the lampposts and in the shop windows; during the festive season, everything changed completely, feeling more cheerful and pretty. Your gaze wandered when Wonwoo touched one of your cheeks to get your attention.

“Enjoying the walk?” he asked while intertwining his hand with yours and smiled.

You nodded slowly. “I’m sorry if I seem distracted,” and you immediately yawned, covering your mouth with your free hand. “Today was one of those days.”

“I can tell,” Wonwoo chuckled as you looked at him with a furrowed brow, then he cleared his throat. “Thanks for coming, I really wanted to see you.”

You paused for a moment to lean in and give him a kiss on the cheek; the night was perfect and you thought nothing could go wrong. But then again, Wonwoo poked your cheeks again with one of his fingers.

“Can you go over there?” he asked while pointing to a small tree by the street, which had been adorned with minimalist details. “I’d like to take some pictures of you.”

“Wonu, I'm not exactly looking my best,” you joked, pointing to your outfit; you were wearing loose clothes perfect for the cold, but not for a photo session.

“What are you talking about? You look beautiful,” Wonwoo gently pinched one of your cheeks, convincing you with his adorable smile. “Now go on, I'll just take a few photos.”

You felt a little shy and posed awkwardly, but Wonwoo had a new collection of photos on his phone from another beautiful night with you, and that was more important than getting the perfect shot.

Sometimes the best photos are taken with just simple clothes, a little of makeup, and the person you love behind the lens.

Mingyu: Baking sweets.

He’s not that good at baking and neither you are, but that’s not important as long as you are doing this together. It might turn out good or bad, but there’s one thing clear: baking a fruit cake at late-night hours never was so fun (and messy).

“I think we have everything,” Mingyu said, checking the recipe on his phone, then he glanced at the kitchen counter where all the ingredients were. “We have eggs, flour, sugar… What are you doing!?”

You shrugged when you heard his voice rising above the normal. You raised your gaze to meet his and immediately dropped what you had in your hands, almost throwing it onto the counter.

“I bought you chocolates yesterday; why do you have to eat the ones that are for the cake?” Mingyu complained.

“There was no need to raise your voice,” you defended yourself quietly, crossing your arms.

Mingyu sighed deeply, standing in front of you. “I’m sorry, I shouldn't have done that to you” He patted your hair and gave you a warm smile, that gesture was enough for you to soften your expression. “Shall we start baking?”

Nodding enthusiastically, you rolled up the sleeves of your sweater, just above the elbows. “What’s the first thing we need to do?”

“I was making sure we had everything ready,” he looked back at his phone. “Did you buy the raisins like I told you?”

“I was supposed to buy… raisins?” you asked with a distracted look.

Mingyu watched you from the corner of his eye, lowkey irritated, and after realizing you were playing dumb, he overlooked as he made sure that no other ingredients were missing.

“Okay, it’s all here,” Mingyu smiled to himself. “Just tell me what the recipe says, and pass me the ingredients.”

The night went as you both worked together. Mingyu did the heavier tasks while you diligently dictated the instructions just as they were written; a slightly tense atmosphere developed, but it was also filled with jokes, laughters and the promise of a delicious fruitcake that you would share the next day, during Christmas dinner.

Once everything was ready and the cake was in the oven, that’s when you both realized the great mess the kitchen was in. There was flour scattered on the counter and on both of your clothes, leftover ingredients were thrown in a corner, and a tower of dirty dishes on the counter.

“I’m tired, shall we clean up when the cake is ready?” you suggested, scratching your head.

“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it,” Mingyu said as he moved towards the sink. “Take a shower, I’ll go once you’re done.”

Without thinking twice, you thanked him and disappeared from the kitchen right to your room. After a while, the cake was ready, and everything was clean and picked up. Mingyu was surprised that you hadn’t appeared during all that time, so he went to check the bathroom, thinking something may happened.

He gently knocked on your bedroom door, and when you didn’t respond, he entered to find you lying on the bed in your pajamas, phone in hand, and deeply immersed in sleep. He chuckled softly and approached to cover you with the blankets, gazing at you tenderly.

“Merry first Christmas, my love” he caressed your cheek and placed a tender goodnight kiss on your forehead, before glancing at you once again.

Vernon: Watching bad movies for the laughs.

For someone who loves watching movies, Vernon has a long list of movies he has watched. He usually watches with you the ones he loves, but one night Vernon comes to home with snacks, drinks and a some of the worst Christmas movies he has watched. This is going to be a trip full of cringe but also filled with memories you both will remember for a long time.

You had to pause to catch your breath and avoid choking on the snacks. Vernon moved a little closer to you and made sure you were okay, though he himself couldn’t contain his frantic laughter.

“Are you okay?” his hand gently stroked your back.

“Yeah, I think so,” you took a deep breath while wiping the tears from the corners of your eyes. “I didn't know such horrible movies existed.”

“I told you it was the worst movie I've ever seen,” Vernon admitted between laughs. “I couldn’t keep it all to myself!”

You gave him a sideways glance with a more serious expression as if you were going to scold him, but then you burst out laughing again and he followed your lead. After a few minutes of unending laughter, you took a breath.

“We should probably stop,” you leaned over to the table to take a sip from the glass of soda you had poured for yourself. “It’s three in the morning.”

“Yes, and?” Vernon raised an eyebrow, challenging you. “It’s Christmas eve.”

“Yeah, but it’s the third movie we’ve watched today,” you replied between yawns. “I’d like to sleep.”

But he wasn’t willing to back down. “Come on, I promise it’ll be the last one.”

Vernon looked at you with his tender eyes and a pouty face, gently pinching one of your cheeks. You were really having a good time and didn’t want the night to end at any cost, but on the other hand, you were an early bird, being awake to such late hours was really difficult.

Leaning your head on his shoulder, you snuggled up to him, hugging his arm against your chest.

“This one and then we go to sleep, okay?” you asked in a very soft voice. “Now, hit play.”

“Sure, honey,” he said, kissing the top of your head, letting the movie continue on the TV.

As the movie went on, you felt your eyes closing every so often, with Vernon’s laughter being the only thing that could wake you for a few moments. However, when the credits rolled, the only sound was your soft snoring.

Vernon gently touched your nose to wake you. “Wake up, sweetie. It’s daytime.”

“What? How?” You quickly lifted your head and blinked several times before realizing that you were still in the living room of your apartment. You looked at Vernon with a frown and patted his arm. “C’mon, don’t be so mean!”

You immediately fell back asleep on his lap, resting your head on the pillow that was laying across his thighs.

“Hey, don’t fall asleep here,” he whispered sweetly, “let’s go to the bedroom.”

“It’s fine, I’m comfortable,” you replied in sleepy voice, barely audible. “Good night.”

Vernon giggled and just let you be, he was tired as well. Taking the pillow that was beside him, he placed it behind his head and rested his hand on your shoulder, slowly stroking you with his thumb. He looked at you one last time, a lovestruck smile barely appearing on his face.

“Thanks for joining me” he whispered, closing his eyes. “Good night for you too, honey”.

(credits to 🦊 anon!) as the drummer of bastard city, rin often gets overshadowed by the cameras, the lights, the fans. but not you! as a struggling artist with a knack for photography, you take THE photo of itoshi rin mid performance that has his popularity skyrocketing and rivaling that of even michael kaiser. and in return? you get a dm from someone who happens to be close to the band…

(2nd) shidou ryusei

after partying a bit too hard after a show, shidou wakes up in a bed that isn’t his with a ring on his finger and you tucked under his arm. but when you wake up, just as surprised as he is, you realize you’re married and t he divorce process is a lot more complicated than you thought… but what if shidou can’t get enough of you?

(3rd) itoshi sae

it’s no secret that bastard city shut down every agency that approaches them. they’ve built themselves around being self-made, but what about when the fame starts getting to them? more specifically, their most reliable and unofficial leader, sae? and what happens when the moment he starts to debate if being independent is the best for them, you, an intern for the largest music agency in japan, show up at his door?

(4th) bachira meguru

an accidental meet turned one night stand turns into something more when bachira can’t get your face out of his head. however, when he finally tracks you down with the help of some friends, you want nothing to do with him ! bachira’s response? to spam you with interesting facts until you finally agree to be “just friends” …

rival group!! yn is the lead singer of the rock band striker six, a group isagi yoichi happens to be a HUGE fan of. when he isn’t promoting his own band and achievements online, he’s hyping their band up instead. fans love stalking his liked posts, because 99% of the time they’re gonna find something striker six related…

This is awesome. I threw together a grilled cheese (quick to make and taste delicious) story. But I might develop it into something longer, because following them through a whole tour of the museum sounds really fun.

“Date Night with a Body Count”

Kate Bishop taps her pen against a notepad, sprawled out on the couch in her Brooklyn loft. Her brow furrows. Date night with Yelena isn’t just “dinner and a movie.” That’s too boring. Too normal. And normal doesn’t cut it when your girlfriend is a Black Widow assassin who thinks skydiving without a parachute is “fun.”

She mumbles to herself. “No axe-throwing again, she beat the instructor too fast. No escape room—she disarmed the ‘bomb’ with a paperclip and raw disdain.”

She scrolls through ideas, looking for something weird enough to impress a woman who finds taxidermy relaxing. Then she stops.

Morbid Anatomy Museum.

Kate smirks. “Skeletons. Mummified squirrels. Victorian mourning jewelry. Yep. Right up her alley.”

She texts Yelena:

K: “What do you think about ‘strange specimens and obscure death rituals’ for date night?”

Y: “You remembered I like those! :)”

Y: “Where?”

K: “Morbid Anatomy Museum. You’ll love it. There’s a lecture on postmortem photography and a wet specimen workshop.”

Y: “WET SPECIMENS?? ❤️❤️❤️”

K: “I booked us tickets. Don’t wear white.”

*Later That Night*

Yelena walks the museum like a kid in a candy store made of bones. She peers into glass jars of pickled organs like she’s admiring fine wine. She’s glowing. Kate’s watching her, half creeped out, half in love.

“Look at this,” Yelena says, holding up a Victorian hair brooch. “They used to keep these after someone died. It’s sentimental and stylish.”

Kate grins. “Great. Let me know if you want me to start growing mine out.”

Yelena smirks. “Only if you die dramatically.”

Kate shrugs. “Noted.”

They wander the aisles together—Yelena gleeful, Kate entertained—and by the end, they’re holding hands between exhibits on death masks and medical oddities. Yelena tucks her head into Kate’s shoulder.

“Best date ever,” she says, totally sincere.

Kate kisses her temple. “You’re morbid. But you’re my morbid.”

Next cozy encounter is with Halsin! Our favorite bear ❤️ I absolutely know he'd be the best at easing anyone's fears. He's such a calming presence.

You loved scary stories. You loved the thrill of being scared, the tension right before a scare, and the mystery of the unknown. But perhaps you had met your match in Wyll. It had been your idea to delve into the stories of the macabre on that fine, chilly evening that Karlach had declared that she was bored, and over half the camp had agreed. However, Wyll's - disturbingly true - encounter with a Wraith years back had been enough to send shivers straight down your spine and for a knot to settle in the base of your stomach. 

But you had a reputation to uphold, so you clapped with the others when he was finished and smiled until you reached your tent for the evening. Shivering, you pulled your blankets up around you and scooted closer to the candle you had by your bedroll, eager to stay near the small patch of warmth and the light. You cracked open your book and tried to pick up where you had left off, intent on leaving all thoughts of shadows and wraiths behind. 

But when a snick snapped just outside your tent, you froze, body stiffening with fear and apprehension. Rustling. A shiver ran down your spine as you silently reached for your knife. Goosebumps erupted on your flesh at the sound of a soft grunt and you gripped the knife hilt tightly. Suddenly, the tent flap swung open and you jumped back on your haunches, knife in hand, only to find your lover, Halsin, in wildshape, poking his snout inside to check on you. You let out a relieved sigh and let your knife fall to your side. “Halsin,” you breathed out.

He snorted and his eyes began to glow. Then the light spread to the rest of his enormous body, and before your eyes, he had returned to his elven form. With a small, knowing smile, he crawled the rest of the way into your tent and settled in beside you. Wordlessly, you pulled some of the blankets covering you over to him as well, and he accepted them with a gracious smile. 

“Do you remain on edge from the tales around the fire, my heart?” he rumbled, opening his arms to you. 

You settled into them with a grateful sigh, glad to be safely pressed against your bear once again. “No, I'm alright.” 

His silence told you how little he believed you. 

“...alright, perhaps a little.” You curled up tighter around him and he did the same to you. “Wyll’s encounter with a wraith was quite harrowing,” you murmured and you felt Halsin nod above you. 

“Indeed. Wraiths are most unsavory creatures. However, they are not infallible, as we heard tonight. Wyll disposed of it bravely. As would we, if we were to come across one. I will always be within reach of you; in battle and in every breath you take from this moment on. My dear one, never doubt that fact.”

Why I didn't liked season 6 of THT.

Since season 6 ending, I wanted to take the time to rewatched the whole show from the beginning, including season 6. It wasn't easy but it was an interesting experience. I tried to rewatched season 6 with some hindsight and some distance, knowing the ending.

I'll start with the things I actually liked about this season :

Lawrence's relationship with Charlotte / Angela.

The photography. Still splendid !

Episode 3 and 6 ( Osblaine ❤️💔)

Emily's return ! I actually loved that scene! Even if I'd have loved to see her more and be part of the revolution.

Nick's character. You can never make me hate him ( sorry not sorry ! ). And Max's acting. ( The scene between him and Wharton and the look on his face 😭💔)

The " I love you " scene between Janine, Moira and June. #Sisterhood

Now, the reasons why I didn't liked this season :

The season felt way too rushed ! I don't know, but something felt really off. THT used to be a show that took its time to develop the plots, to build its characters, to increase the tension. And I didn't feel any of that this season.

Crossing the borders so easily ? Gilead used to be this place where it's supposed to be impossible to come and go as you please. In the first seasons, there was a specific atmosphere about that place. It was a scary, brutal place where everyone watches everyone. Every move you made, every things you said, every step you took, you were constantly watched. But now, June and Mayday can come and go as they please ? I know it's supposed to be New Bethlehem, but it's still Gilead...

Where are the Mackenzies ?? And Ester ??

Where is Hannah ?

Mixed feelings :

Episode 1. Good episode but... I don't know how to explain it, something bothers me every time I watch it.

Lawrence's ending. They talked about redemption arc and everything. But he only joined MayDay to save himself. What if he could go back to the beginning, would he do things differently ? Or would he do the same things all over again ? Same with Aunt Lydia and Serena... I still wonder...

June writing her story. At first, I really liked the idea. But I'm not really sure now. There's too many things she can't be aware of throughout the show. It's just not plausible.

I really liked that Janine can get her daughter back in the end. She has suffered enough. But Naomi giving her back just like that ? 🤷

So overall, these are the reasons why I didn't liked season 6. There are some good episodes, but it feels like we lost the very essence of this show. THT is and always will be one of my favorite show. But season 6 was a huge disappointment for me...

I guess no one could have predicted this ending, huh ? ...

So many!!! There is a lot of things I would love to see, things regarding the show and book content, from The Vampire Lestat to Blood Communion and New Tales of the Vampires. But I'm gonna mention some stuff that should happen sooner than later since they're from the next books:

I want to see (Rockstar) Lestat. I'm glad we're finally getting to see all the characters in real time instead of it being someone's memory or a piece of their imagination. I am also a passionate music lover (I could go on and on about television AND music) and glam rock is one of my favorite genres, so it should be fun to see him as a singer. And it's a new approach to acting too, singing is a new form of expression and I'm curious to see what Sam will deliver with his voice and stage presence.

A more peaceful Louis. I'm so glad he's taken the first steps into healing (as much as you're allowed to heal on this show lol) and has embraced himself as a vampire. I have no idea where that will take him, but I'm excited to see that and Jacob playing a lighter Louis. He's been through so much, he deserves some kind of break now. I hope he reconnects with his love for photography and/or find a new hobbie/passion. I hope he enjoys single, independent life and makes new friends as well. I'd reeeeeaaaaallyyyyyyy love to see Merrick and those two bonding.

AS MUCH OF TVL AND TVA ARMAND AS POSSIBLE. Those are two of my favorite books (TVA being my absolute favorite). TVL and TVA also have the best Armand moments. I want to see everything I possibly can of him, his story and his very complex (and delicious) relationship with Lestat. There's A LOT of potential for SOME OF THEIR BEST SCENES there, because the first thing about Lesmand is that, for better or worse, they're INTENSE. And I'm a total sucker for intensity. I also NEED to see a version of that book scene with his family, EVEN if it's with a friend, sibling, etc and not his parents. I would prefer to see it with his parents, though, and that all the trauma just messed up with his memories, but that they did love him. But I'll take anything, as long as I see those words. It was the most I've cried with anything I've ever read/watched/listened to, I was BAWLING FOR 2-3 HOURS! And I just know in my heart ASSAD WOULD NAIL IT! Seeing that being brought to life could DESTROY AND HEAL MY SOUL IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY! DEPENDING on what they do, I think it's possible they might use some things from Blood Communion or bring Benji and/or Sybelle as well. And I'd obviously be okay with it hehe. Plus, am I the only one who would love to see Armand bonding with a character that is a combination of Benji/Benedict? I was frustrated that Armand and Benedict had so much in common and he hated him. I get he had his reasons and Benedict did something terrible, but still. I guess we could talk about Armand unconsciously being harder and taking it out on people that remind him of himself and his struggles like Benedict or even Claudia, but that's for another conversation.

Daniel adjusting to vampirism. We saw very little of him and he seems to be doing fine, but how accurate is that? Does he still have symptoms of his disease? What about his daughters? I know he didn't have a good relationship with them in the first place, but how does he feel now, knowing he probably can't ever see them again and will outlive them? Also, is there any chance one or both of them could show up and play significant characters at some point? He's new into this and might be in a state of euphoria at the moment, but what happens when that goes away and reality kicks in? Plus, the new interview, because Lestat's reactions to him will be VERY DIFFERENT from Louis's lmao. It will be a great contrast. I'd be happy to see Luke again, too. He gave a phenomenal performance on 2x05 and I believe they should use him whenever they can.

CLAUDIA HAUNTING THE NARRATIVE. I love her. I love Delainey. I know she is supposed to leave at some point, but I want to keep her around for as long as possible. And she deserves to haunt some people! Not to mention that Claudia had such a cold, sharp tongue on the books, so I hope to see her as a ghost and that side of her now. I hope her words cut people deeper than the sharpest of knives.

GABRIELLE AND GABISTAT. She is such a complex character and so is her dynamic with Lestat. I really hope they get their tone right (same goes to Armand and Lesmand). She's a great character on her own, but her relationship with gender resonates so much as well. That's an awesome arc to explore, and something we NEVER see on television, so it would be so powerful AND refreshing to see. That scene of her cutting her hair stuck with me forever.

AKASHA, ENKIL, MEKARE, MAHARET AND KHAYMAN. The best part of the chronicles after Armand and/or Lestat. MANY of their scenes are THE BEST from all the books. They would be AWARD MATERIAL. Mekare, Maharet and Armand are the most tragic characters of the series and I LOVE me some tortured characters! Plus, I really hope Akasha, Maharet and Mekare will be played by Black Arabs of similar skin tone because nobody needs the awful racist and colorist takes that plot could cause.

Maharet and Jesse. The sexy (borderline) incestuous relationship of TVC. We're not ready to see their homoerotic shit. Or that turning. They made me sweat so much and I was so conflicted and low-key ashamed for loving them lol. Y'all have no idea of their power and impact. There was some cocaine in them, the fuck. Also, bring Jesse and Merrick, make them lesbians girlfriends who kiss and fuck nasty, please.
