Physical exercise based on Mars sign or dominant sign
I've been thinking about doing physical exercise based on the sign of my Mars – which is Sagittarius – and honestly, I really liked the options I researched. But I also wondered if I shouldn’t try something more connected to Scorpio, since I have dominant Scorpio energy and my Mars is also influenced by that sign.
Today I started trying Ashtanga Yoga and I swear… omg it’s so hard at first hahaha (I’m not exactly the most balanced or flexible person). I was actually surprised that I enjoyed it, since I’ve never been into slower-paced practices – I’ve always done better with the ones where I have to move quickly and use strength in some way. So I believe Ashtanga Yoga will really be a challenge for me.
Besides that, I’m planning to try swimming again (just because I miss it, and I haven’t practiced in years). I’ll let you know if I manage to stick with this Scorpio-like determination and discipline haha – I hope so!
Btw, is anyone here with strong Scorpio or Sagittarius in their birth chart? Either dominant overall, or specifically in Mars?
Tell me about the sign your Mars is in, or the signs that are most dominant in your birth chart — and what kind of sport you do, would like to do, or have done before. I’d love to know!!

“We should not use philosophy like a herbal remedy, to be discarded when we're through. Rather, we must allow philosophy to remain with us, continually guarding our judgements throughout life, forming part of our daily regimen, like eating a nutritious diet or taking physical exercise.”

"Elevate Your Fitness Journey: Embracing the Power of Physical Exercise"
In a world that's constantly buzzing with innovation and technology, the significance of physical exercise remains timeless. While our lives might have become more sedentary, the benefits of incorporating regular physical activity into our routines are undeniable. From boosting our mood to enhancing our physical well-being, engaging in exercise is a holistic approach to leading a fulfilling life. This blog post delves into the various aspects of physical exercise and how it can empower us to reach new heights of health and vitality.
The Science Behind Exercise:
Physical exercise isn't just about lifting weights or running on a treadmill; it's a comprehensive science that involves understanding how our bodies respond to movement. When we exercise, our bodies release endorphins, often referred to as "feel-good" hormones. These endorphins not only help alleviate stress and anxiety but also contribute to an improved sense of overall well-being. Additionally, exercise increases blood flow, delivering essential nutrients and oxygen to our muscles and organs, thereby optimizing their performance.
A Strong Body and Mind Connection:
Beyond the physical benefits, regular exercise establishes a strong connection between our body and mind. Engaging in physical activities has been proven to enhance cognitive functions, boost memory, and promote mental clarity. Whether it's yoga, weightlifting, or a brisk walk in nature, these activities stimulate the brain and encourage the growth of new neurons, fostering an environment for learning and mental sharpness.
Tailoring Your Exercise Regimen:
The beauty of physical exercise lies in its diversity. There's an exercise for everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, or personal preferences. Finding an activity that resonates with you is crucial for long-term adherence. Whether it's dancing, swimming, cycling, or practicing martial arts, the key is to engage in something you genuinely enjoy. This not only makes the process more enjoyable but also increases the likelihood of sticking to your routine.
Maximizing Benefits with a Balanced Approach:
While the enthusiasm for starting a new exercise routine can be high, it's essential to approach it with balance and moderation. Overexertion or pushing too hard too soon can lead to burnout or even injuries. Gradually increasing the intensity and duration of your workouts allows your body to adapt and become stronger over time. Additionally, coupling exercise with a well-balanced diet ensures that your body receives the necessary fuel to support your active lifestyle.
Embracing Consistency and Patience:
Results from physical exercise aren't typically immediate, and that's perfectly okay. Consistency and patience are key factors in reaping the long-term benefits of your efforts. Setting achievable goals and celebrating even the smallest victories can keep you motivated on your journey. Remember, it's about progress, not perfection.
Conclusion:
Incorporating physical exercise into your life isn't just about fitting into a certain clothing size or achieving a particular aesthetic. It's a holistic approach to wellness that enriches both your body and mind. By understanding the science behind exercise, embracing a balanced approach, and cultivating consistency, you're empowering yourself to lead a life filled with vitality and well-being. So, take that first step, embark on your fitness journey, and watch as your body and mind flourish in ways you never imagined possible. Your future self will thank you for it.

"MENTAL, MORAL SIDE OF SPORT ARE IMPORTANT," Hamilton Spectator. August 29, 1933. Page 5. ---- Mere Muscle Development is Not All --- Judge Jackson Addresses Lions Club ---- Stresses Value of Modern Athletics ---- "If my interest in athletics, extending over a period of some 40 odd years, was confined entirely to the muscular development, I doubt that I would have ever become interested," declared Judge J. A. Jackson, past president of the Amateur Athletic Union of Canada, as one of the pertinent and timely ob- servations of his address to the Lions club of this city during the weekly meeting at the Royal Connaught hotel yesterday at noon.
Judge Jackson, presiding judge of Lethbridge, Alta., and district, was one of many notables at the meeting, the Lions being very fortunate in obtaining the learned judiciary as guest speaker, and his discourse on amateurism and sports in general proved most impressive.
Introduced by W. A. Fry, of Dunnville, vice-president of the A.A.U. of C., and reputed holder of more titles in amateur official cir- cles than any other Canadian, Judge, Jackson was by Sam R. Manson. W. H. Crocker, president of the A.A.U. of C., W. A. Hewitt, Toronto, secre- tary of the O.H.A., and P. J. Mulqueen, chairman of the Canadian Olympic committee, were unable to be present.
"Hamilton," observed the speaker, in his opening remarks, "is one of the places that keeps Canada on the map. I have the greatest respect for Hamilton as an athletic center and for my confrere here (Mr. Fry), who will shortly be president of the A.A.U., I predict great things, particularly for the next Canadian Olympic team he will head."
Other Qualities Then the speaker declared that interest only in the muscular development of the athlete was not sufficient. It is to the mental and moral end of things that one must look. Giving various reasons for interest in athletics, which are becoming more and more important, The judge stated that the secret of mankind's mental well-being came from the days of the ancient Romans, who believed in giving the populace bread and games to keep them content.
Judge Jackson observed that the crime wave which reached its height four or five years ago could be traced to early war days when the youth of from thirteen to eighteen years was neglected during the stress of difficult times. With no older companions to show them the way, he said, the youngsters drifted into bad company. As the older boy leads, he declared, the younger boy will follow, and he then charged those just graduated from the teen age to show way that their younger companions might place their feet in the proper steps. The older boy of tomorrow, he said, and in ending the big trouble. to fill a boy's day, he said healthy and beneficial sport must be brought into play.
Play Is Vital "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy," he stated, quite pertinently, "but no work and no play makes Jack a criminal. We must direct our pleasure-minded lives along the proper channels that the youngsters will follow and obtain benefit. The best way to handle idle hours is in clean and wholesome sport. If there is no work let's give them bread and games and we'll find that the general improvement that has been reached during the past fifteen years will continue, and that amateur sports of all kinds will hold a major part in the lives and well-being of the community."
The speaker, a cousin of the president, Dr. E. C. Jackson, who occupied the chair, voiced his pleasure in being able to propound a subject near and dear to him, and he referred jocularly to his introducers, Messrs. Fry and Manson. The attendance prize, donated by Howard Williams, was won by Sam Manson.

Tumblr media

Slowly & Mindfully: A Reminder
Among the physical exercises I try to perform on a daily basis, are a couple for strengthening the hips. One of these begins with me standing upright, feet together, eyes level, looking ahead. Then I swing one leg at a time for ten repetitions in a kind of arc like motion out to side, keeping it level with the side of my body, bringing the leg back to the rest position with feet together. It’s a…

Transform Your Life in 5 Minutes a Day
10 years ago, I felt like a complete failure. I was unemployed, stuck in a place I desperately wanted to leave, and trying to help someone I cared about through their own struggles but I was unsuccessful. I felt powerless, depressed and stuck.
Then one day, I started doing a simple 5-minute exercise daily, and everything started to change. Soon, my mood lifted. I felt stronger, more in control. Within months, I landed a high-paying job in a beautiful country.
What's that 5-min exercise? Push-ups!
Why did that work? 1. Building physical strength gave me a sense of control over my body, and by extension, my life. 2. Watching my muscles grow helped me feel like I was making progress, which brought satisfaction. 3. As my mood improved, my ability to attract positive events also improved (thank you, Law of Attraction).
It doesn’t have to be push-ups for you. Any simple, consistent action that brings progress and satisfaction can spark transformation.
Examples: 🎨 Doing a crafty project 📚 Learning something new, e.g. a language 🎮 Building something, such as a house, in your favorite video game, e.g. Minecraft
Remember: Transforming your life might only take 5 minutes a day. It can be simple and easy!
