All right, I've been thinking about the Fantasy High Leverage AU more lately, so have yourself some updates to the story:
-Since there are just too many good Leverage episodes that spring from Nate's thing with hospitals, I decided to change Riz's motivation from Pok dying on the field and it being covered up to Pok having recently died of cancer. I think that Pok never mentioned to Sklonda or Riz that he couldn't get coverage for his treatment, even from his old bosses, so when Riz found out after his death, it was... definitely a shock.
-I wound up throwing my idea of Kalina being Sterling out the window in favor of Kipperlilly being Sterling, because... well, she's too lawful to be a thief, let's be real, and she just gives off Sterling vibes in general. Also, it contrasts nicely with Riz only really caring about her when she shows up to ruin his plans, but the rest of the team absolutely hating her guts.
-The other reason I threw out my idea of Kalina being Sterling is because it makes so much more sense, narrative-wise, for her to be Jimmy Ford. I debated making her Moreau, because that'd be a great way to tie her into Kristen's story, but ultimately, she's had way more narrative impact on Riz than on Kristen, and I adore the concept of Riz growing up idolizing his cool, motorcycle-riding godmother until he found out that she was a criminal, is still a criminal, and cares a negative amount about the sanctity of human life... and then running into her again when he's an adult. And, also? Kalina genuinely caring about Riz is also goldmine storytelling potential.
-Mazey is Tara! I realized I completely forgot about Tara when I made the original post, and after much deliberation, I decided that if it's Fabian who goes on the sabbatical, and if whoever he calls in to replace him is someone that even Fig wouldn't know, then Mazey would be the best choice. I think that Fabian knows her due to them targeting each other at one point, not realizing that they were both grifters, and after that hilarious misunderstanding, they kept in touch---Fig knew about it, just not what Mazey actually looked like. Mazey's a bit nicer than Tara is, but she's definitely constantly confused by all of the inside jokes.
-Some people have already guessed this, but Porter is Dubenech, and Jace is... uh, his millionaire sugar daddy whose name I've forgotten, whatever, the season 4 antagonist. Yeah, I know, I'm switching up the usual Porter-Jace dynamic, but what can I say? I like making Jace a genuine threat.
-The Abernants are a version of Moreau, because... well, they're way too interesting and way too malevolent for me to make them anything but full-season baddies, and I've already established that they made their family fortune off of theft---why not turn that into also funding every single bad guy in the world? And honestly, given that they stopped acting like Adaine existed after she got caught, it wouldn't be too far from the realm of possibility for Kristen to have worked with them in the past without knowing that they were Adaine's parents... but, of course, this is mere speculation at this point.
-Fig and Fabian's little sister---who I've named Faroe---does appear, but I'm giving my girl her own unique role. Yes, I did have the option of making her an equivalent of Breanna or Astrid, but as much as I love Redemption, this is an AU that follows the OG Leverage... and I like Riz too much to have him be dead, even in the future.
-Lucy is now Peggy, because she's sweet enough, I love the idea of Adaine accidentally becoming friends with her, and I also love the idea of her and Ragh becoming best friends---since, well, Ragh is Hurley and all. Gay man and lesbian solidarity for the win.
-Kalvaxus is our season 1 antagonist, the CEO of KVX Insurance and Riz's sworn enemy. Honestly, there was no better character role for him.
-Baron is The Italian. I don't want to explain, because it's too perfect for me to attempt to put into words.
I've got other stuff in the back of my mind---like, for instance, Gertie being Kristen's ex from back home, there being an episode called "The 3 Dads Job" where suddenly all of Fig's various dads are in seemingly wildly different crises that are, against all odds, intrinsically connected at the source, Sklonda acting as the Detective Bonano equivalent---but I think that's a good stopping point for now.

Recent art from our Blades campaign:
The great magician Phaedra had her origins as a sooty teen maid in Sublunary House, then better known as the Temple of Persephone of the Gates. She is here pictured bent over her project: a diorama representing part of the Antechamber, the infinite labyrinth that souls wander after death.
Some three hundred years later, the great magician Phaedra--now a ghost herself, though not a very well-traveled one--pokes @catchaspark's PC Aphra in the arm. Rude, much?
(Credit for the Magic translations of Aphra's suite of natural and supernatural abilities goes to the inventive and far-seeing @courtyardhound; credit for actually turning this art into a playable physical object goes to @brisling; and credit for the original sketch is all @catchaspark's.)

So both Phaedra and Laszlow love dressing to impress - what would you say are the reasons why they like dressing up, and how are they similar/different between the two?
OOOH this is such a fun question!! You are absolutely correct that Phaedra and Laszlow love dressing up:
Phaedra loves dressing up because it's fun! Both as a means of self-expression and as a way to practice self-care. She finds a lot of joy in wearing her favorite color, or clothes that have frou-frou girly details, or in the ritual of putting on a full face of sparkly makeup. She just wants to decorate herself with all her favorite things!
Laszlow loves dressing up because it's a flex--what better way to show off the fact that she's hotter, richer, and has better taste than you than to wear an outfit that screams ALL OF THAT? 🤣 For her, fashion is a means of projecting power and control. If she's the richest, hottest, smartest person in the room, she'll have everyone else at a disadvantage (which is just how she likes it)!
Thanks for dropping in with this super fun question!! So sorry it took me ages to get back to you (tumblr is not very good at letting me know when I have new messages 😭)!

"And Then There Were Nine"
From the "Where We Gonna Leave It?" Series
Tumblr media
Part 1
Summary: After the crashing landing Phaedra and co scavenge over Korriban. The group finds food and another body drops.
Wc: 2k
(A/N): This series means a lot to me and I'm hoping to keep writing it as my little back burner pet project. I've also been binging TWD for the first time and I fear it's starting to effect me mentally-
Tumblr media
Between the ten of them it took two full standard day cycles on Korriban for them to bury their dead. Fifty-six hours spent in a wasteland that was abandoned and uninhabitable, but at least it was done. The troopers' helmets were the only grave markers they had.
Metal scrap from the crash were used to hold up their helmets. Nine helmets lined two rows of graves. Nine more bodies added to the soil of this rotten planet. The planet was soaked in the blood of millions, what real damage could nine more do?
The remaining soldiers and their superior officer split into two groups. One to scavenge the remains of the ship and the other to scout the surrounding areas.
There had yet to be any vegetation suitable to either eat, use to aid in shelter, or to even help identify where they were. The planet had been devoid of all intelligent life for a long while by the look of it. Ration bars recovered from the wreckage became the only source of sustenance for the group's foreseeable future. It would last them a week or two if they were lucky.
After the next twenty eight hour day cycle, the group packed up camp. Darth Rhidlu led her 'brigade' of soldiers through the desert terrain. It seemed to go for miles.
The next few days were spent wandering, dehydration was setting, and the soldiers couldn't possibly sweat any more. Armor had been abandoned and left behind, helmets were strapped to waists and belts. Every soldier was down to their blacks in the blistering heat.
Phaedra couldn't stand this planet anymore. The skies and the world beneath her feet screamed of the dark side. It should have made her feel better. It didn't. She still couldn't forget those voices. Mostly because it felt like every few days, she heard one of them again.
She was convincing herself that she was going crazy. After having elected to suffer in silence she was certain it was her own mind playing tricks.
The barren wasteland held little life. Mountains and valleys lined the horizons. They seemed to loom over everywhere. Valleys and cavernous canyons covered the terrain.
They stumbled upon a dried-out riverbed in the ground and finally, it seemed there was luck. Setting a new course the group of ten followed the bend.
Phaedra's feet trudged in sand. She blinked tiredly. She was utterly exhausted, her body felt like it could drop at every step. The sun was bright, but the wind was growing cold. This planet made very little sense to her.
In the distance, she could still see mountains. They were getting closer. Her breath caught in her throat. It was the closest she had to feeling hope in days. She listened to her comrades converse behind her, but she didn't say anything.
A voice echoed from the distance. Whispering her name in the wind and she shrugged it off. Her mind was playing tricks on her. It was dehydration and starvation.
As they passed the ridge, she could just make out the labyrinth that been carved out and  hidden inside the rock. She swore she could hear the voice again. Phaedra could feel the tainted energy that protruded from it. Something inside her called to it. It ached to show her and let her see what it was. To see what or who laid there. And then someone told her the exact opposite.
"Do not." It stated. "The call to the labyrinth of tombs is strong, My Sith'ari you must not. It's the call of the dead." The voice was quiet, whispered. It spoke only in the winds. 'Beware of the shadows." It whispered. "They hide more than just the dark." It continued.
Phaedra's brow furrowed. She shook her head, enough of this. Once she found either shelter, food, or water, she'd be able to figure out the rest. The voices were just in her head. Surely, they had to be. It was a symptom of her state of being. It had to be.
"Do you think the First Order is going to be able to find us here?" TK-7493 asked aloud. His voice came hoarse from his dry vocal cords. Phaedra thought his voice sounded a lot deeper than it usually did.
Another Trooper, PH-5820, the last Execution Trooper left, answered him sadly. "Computers were down before we even dropped." He let out a strangled cough. "It's highly unlikely they know where we are" he added on.
The chatter continued between the Troopers as they began their hike up one of the mountain ridges.
FN-2187 didn't say much. Instead, he licked over his dry lips and continued to march dutifully behind his officer.
CZ-5039 was stripping herself of her gauntlets, they stayed at her waist and attached to her belt. Her tanned skin was covered in a thin layer of sweat. She'd been continuously wiping her forehead to rid herself of the feeling.
As Phaedra stood at the top of the peak, her strained eyes laid upon salvation. They had found what she assumed to be an ancient city. Thousands of years ago it might have been home to many overly crowded housing units. It stood half standing and crumbling all these generations later.
The ruins and dirt would shelter and nurse her and her troops back to health. Phaedra let her tired feet drag against rock. The wind spoke to her in echoes.
Phaedra looked down to the ruins below, she actually smiled. They'd make it there in two hours perhaps. If they kept pace that is. "There. We'll set up camp there." She told them sternly.
She grabbed her helmet from off her side. It opened and she encased it around her head, clicking it in place. Phaedra used it to start her descent down the mountain side. It was steep, but the sensors inside her helmet scanned the terrain and made it a lot easier. She'd managed to sustain her battery since the crash. Eighty-nine percent would last her nicely.
Tumblr media
Her voice echoed faintly from within the barren room.
"From the private journals of Phaedra Taraay." The girl spoke clearly she turned on her helmet and let the recorder run. She'd keep updating all of her logs like this.
"It's been about two weeks now. This planet is strange." She began to explain. The girl felt comfortable being alone here. To finally have a second where nobody looked to her for aid. "I feel like I'm going crazy. I think I'm hearing things. I keep hearing voices." She spoke sternly. "We haven't lost anyone else yet but we've officially run out of rations. WM-3501 went scouting and found this strange... I don't want to call it a pond but he found something in the water. Last I checked they were trying to find a way to roast it but.. I don't know anymore." She said rubbing her temples.
Phaedra was tired. She was past the point of panic. "I still don't know what planet we're on, Hux would know. He'd be screaming at me for not knowing this. It's mostly mountains, canyons, and deserts. But we reached the end of what looks like a swamp." She said circling back to the important information she needed to share. "I've yet to have any luck trying to search for the outpost. Every planet is supposed to have one corporate outpost but this place is desolate." She emphasized. "There's skeletons everywhere and this place reeks of the dark side. I think this place is haunted." She confessed. pulling her knees in to her chest.
"I think the ghosts are talking to me." She rested her chin on her knees. "I think they like me." She divulged while letting out a long sigh, her head turned to let her cheek hit her knee. "I don't think anyone else can hear them, but every time I hear them, FN-2187 looks like he knows something." She scrunched up her face in thought. "I don't really know anything anymore. I'm just trying to keep us alive but I don't know what I'm doing. I'm just following my instincts and the voices are trying to aid me. They keep calling me the Sith'ari" she said exhaling heavily.
"I'm venting. I'll figure it out, in time. I need to conserve my battery. But..." her legs slid down. Her hands folded in her lap. "Master, if you can hear me, or hear this, I'm gonna figure it out." She picked up her helmet with both hands. Phaedra looked into the visor and saw her own reflection. She didn't like the way her face was thinning. She swallowed dryly and spoke again. "Phae out." She muttered and turned off the recording. She dropped her helmet to the ground.
Phaedra found comfort in curling back up. Her knees were pulled to her chest. In that moment she no longer looked like the fearsome boogeyman the universe had grown to know her as. Instead, a scared girl sat alone in ruins.
Her cloak had been repurposed into a blanket since the initial crash. She shifted on the floor, wrapping it around herself. Phaedra leaned down and used her arm to wipe some of the dust and pebbles away. She rested her head against hard stone and let out a deep breath.
Maybe if she slept, she'd come up with something. Yeah... maybe..
Tumblr media
Phaedra managed to sleep for a total of forty minutes before one of her stormtroopers came to grab her.
WM-3501 had finished roasting whatever "animal" he pulled out from the swamp. It seemed that whatever it was he had fished out would have to suffice as food.
FN-2187 had stood outside of the 'room' Phaedra had claimed as her own. There was no door, there was nothing of comfort, all she had was a ratty old cloak and her helmet sitting beside her.
He ran a hand over his hair, he didn't want to be the one to wake her. He'd spent two weeks here now with her but still shuttered at the thought of spoiling the little rest she got. He'd quickly learned that something was off here.
Whenever he saw her sleep, she was twitching and sporadic, she looked almost pained. She'd wake up screaming or rambling about people and places nobody had ever heard of. In fact only a few days ago she almost killed JE- 6942. She'd awoken in a panic and called her saber into her hand, she hadn't even opened her eyes before she ignited it.
FN-2187 really didn't want it to be him next. But still, he watched the sleeping girl with a fond smile. Her face was scrunched up slightly, and she looked uncomfortable on the floor.
It felt like waking a sleeping Rancor. But he swallowed and took a few steps closer, he used his foot to tap the bottom of her boots. The tips of his stormtrooper issued boots meeting her soles for a moment. He nudged her awake.
"Rhidlu." He whispered, trying to wake her up as gently as he could. "Rhidlu!" The man asked again. He heard her sharp intake of breath and watched her eyes shoot open.
Her hands scrambled at the floor as she picked herself up and looked at him, shocked. Every time she awoke she was disoriented, unaware of where she was and what was going on.
She looked at the face of her comrade and tried to calm her heaving breaths. "What?" She asked, almost angry. She never slept well.
"Dinners ready." He said flatly. He was scared he upset her so he tried to stay as neutral as possible. FN-2187 knew he had to be chill. He had to be cool, as cool as one could be when swapping between overheating and freezing to death on an hourly basis.
Phaedra blinked back her confusion as she recalled her world before her slumber. Oh Maker, right. "That thing?" She asked quietly. "Hows it look?" Phae asked looking to the troopers face.
FN-2187 only grimaced. "Like it's all we got." He confessed truthfully. He didn't look happy about it. He could clearly see that she didn't either. The man swallowed, he was starving and truthfully whatever monstrosity WM-3501 cooked up might have been his best bet. It might have been everyone's.
Phaedra picked herself up from the floor. She left her helmet behind and tracked back in silence with the trooper. Her gaze shifted to look at the back of his head a few times. His hair was growing out, slowly but surely. Back on base he would have been due for a haircut just about when they originally crashed. She shook away her useless thoughts, after all it was time for supper.
Tumblr media
WM-3501 sat along with the rest of the troopers around the fire they'd started hours ago. There was barely anything to burn. The fire would be out within the hour. He stood with a knife in his hand, hovering over the 'fish' he'd pulled out.
The trooper used his knife to slice up servings for each surviving member of their party. Ten people were served.
Despite how much Phaedra hadn't been looking forward to this, it wasn't as bad as she'd originally thought. The meat was tough and chewy, each bite took ample time to work through and swallow. But it was sustenance. It was something other an a ration pack.
"This actually isn't horrible." One of the Elite Troopers spoke up to say. CZ-5039 took a chunk of another bite. She worked her way through it. "Way better than what they give us in mess." She tried to joke through a mouth full.
It seemed every Trooper, Phaedra included stared at her. Each and every one of them would have sold every material belonging they'd once held dear, just for the idea of a feast like the mess hall.
"Is anyone else's throat kind of... itchy?" WM-3501 asked. His hand raised to rub the outside of his throat as he let out a stray cough to try and clear the imaginary blockage.
The last of the execution troopers spoke. PH-5820 sounded almost casual. "Maybe you missed a few scales? I got a few here." He pointed out as he surveyed over his chunk of meat.
WM-3501 nodded his head in understanding. He looked over the meat quizzically before taking another bite. That made sense, sure.
FN-2187 ate in silence for the most part. He made a comment or two and joined in the idle conversation that floated around. He'd eaten a lot slower. Not used to the toughness of the meat he was consuming. It was almost like rubber to him.
Phaedra on the other hand, took what she could. She ate every bite in front of her. Every single day depleted her of all her strength. She needed all the nourishment she could get.
The troopers ate till their empty stomachs finally felt satiated. There had only been one downside. They'd depleted their clean drinking water hours ago. They wouldn't be able to go through the process again until tomorrow with the daylight.
Ten troopers ate their supper and cleaned their plates. The fire had dwindled out and their drinking water had run dry. Their camp looked rather sad. It barely existed except for the few things they'd lugged from off the destroyed ship weeks ago. Night fell upon the planet of Korriban. The abandoned city had served them well.
For the rest of the night up until everyone retired to their own abandoned rooms, WM-3501 was complaining. He hadn't shut his mouth since dinner. His throat still felt scratchy, his skin was itchy, he was utterly convinced his face was swelling, and his stomach cramped and bubbled. Most of the Troopers chalked it up as the usual. WM-3501 was always a drama queen.
Nobody really paid attention until it was too late. The man was wheezing, barely sitting upright. One of the troopers, JE-6942, had been in the 'room' next to him. The trooper had found him on the floor, struggling to take in air. He'd run to get the others.
Phaedra was the last to hear about it, she'd been outside staring at the sky. The girl was desperate to find their actual location, she needed a way to navigate and get a sense of direction. Instead all she heard was the commotion.
As soon as they called for her, she bolted. The force user ran as quickly as she could, only stopping once she saw JE-6942 and CA-3638 holding up the almost unconscious trooper. His heart rate had slowed to the point it was nonexistent. A few faint pulses as his body slowly gave up.
Phaedra swallowed her nerves. She looked at the man and the marks on his body. The hives looked gruesome. The way his face paled just as offputting.
"Get him up." The girl demanded. She moved closer, looking at the trooper just seconds away from death. She looked around frantically, her eyes landing on one of her comrades who stood nervously in the corner. "You." She said pointing to him
FN-2187 felt his heart leap into his throat. Him? What the hell did he do? "Ma'am?" He asked her quickly. The only formality he kept was that term. After all, they were all going to die out here soon enough. He was watching it happen in front of him right now.
"Grab the medpac, maybe there's something we can-" Phaedra had started to say. But it was too late.
In the force the girl could feel it just before she saw it. She felt his heartbeat slow to a stop. Snuffed out by the horrid reaction his body had to the food. It wasn't from battle and it wasn't from a murder and yet another soul had been claimed to the sands of Korriban.
"Crap." CA-3638 spoke as the man went limp in his arms.
Phaedra moved to rip the knife WM-3501 kept on his belt. She knew they'd be burying him in the morning. The girl was beyond disappointed. She had no way of knowing that he was allergic to such a creature. After all she hadn't even known herself what it was they were eating, but she was their leader. Despite being younger than them all, she was their superior, at least she had been at home. She was trying her best to keep them all alive. Phaedra blamed herself for this. This morning she had ten troopers. She had ten troopers filed in line, they settled down after dinner and then there were nine.

Racine is unwilling to identify his play [Phèdre] too closely with Seneca’s [Phaedra]. Greek tragedy in the Aristotelian abstract provides Racine’s model. ... Racine nevertheless quotes Phaedra’s accusation in its Latin explicitness, choosing her direct statement vim corpus tulit (Sen. Phaed. 892) ["my body has borne violence"] over Euripides’ more circumspect posthumous letter (Eur. Hipp. 862–80). Seneca’s Phaedra speaks, in Racine’s prologue, voicing the charge which Racine takes such pains to reduce: his Hippolyte will be convicted only of an intention to rape, not the act itself. Despite this considerate mitigation, it is the pithy Senecan utterance which Racine retains; although held up as an example of the extremes his drama has denied, it betrays Racine’s cleaving to bienséances [decorum] as a deliberate rejection of alternative scenarios. Greek tragedy stands for model regularity, while Seneca stands as Other, representing obscenity. The Athenian theatre, according to Racine, ‘was a school in which virtue was taught not less well than in the schools of the philosophers’, an institution which modern poets ought to emulate. While projecting perfection onto Attic Greece, Racine is able to reconcile the moral rectitude of classical theatre with the intolerable intimation of rape by displacing it to Rome: vim corpus tulit. Latin bears the stain of sexual violence, and Seneca the fault.

OCKISS Week '25 Day 7
reunion- starting phaedra & daphne ingellvar, daphne belongs to @lucaniseyebrowlicker also yes I did another reunion bc I couldn't help myself & I love these two & think about them a lot!
Phaedra had not been expecting to be one of the first Watchers asked to help with the restoration of The Shrouded Halls. Though given things how tense things had been in their last posting, with tempers still high after her and Daphne’s actions in The War of Banners she couldn’t say she minded. She also would never turn up the opportunity to go deeper into the Necropolis and further away from fussy nobles who knew less than they believed they did.
Today she’s cataloguing the different plants in the Memorial Gardens and overseeing some of her novices in the realignment of one of the undead within the tableau. Her eyes wander over to the novices occasionally during her work finding they are still discussing their plans for how they wish to tackle the realignment. Phaedra lets them fade to the background cutting small samples of the moon blossoms, blue creepvine, but specifically the variegated Weeping Widowers their color unlike any other she has catalogued in the Necropolis to date. It is easy to lose herself in her tasks basking the the feeling of calm they only find deep in the necropolis wondering briefly if maybe one day it will be her bones young novices have to realign. She makes her way over to check on the young novices progress when just beyond them in the Vault of the Beloved she sees a familiar shade of hair, red like the sun over the sands above. Without even thinking she takes off dropping her basket of samples and rushing past confused novices as she makes we way out of the gardens.
“Daphne!” Phaedra’s voice rings out hoping it isn’t just a trick of her mind -a wakening dream playing on missing her friend sister- but the figure quickly turns around to her voice.
“Phaedra,” a small smile graces her face as she moves to meet their embrace.
Phaedra is glad to see her, to see that she is alive and with a quick wash of healing magic; healthy. Pulling back just a little to get a real look at her there is a tiredness in her eyes but as always a fierce determination. Phaedra places a quick kiss on both her cheeks which are as rosey as ever.
“How have you been?”
“I feel I should ask you that, you are the one who went off on an adventure to stop an ancient elven god with Varric Tethras.”
“You can certainly say it has been an adventure,” the tiredness in her eyes also laces her voice, Phaedra gathers her back in her arms projecting warmth towards her.
“If you need anything, let me know. I will be there no matter what,” Pulling back and taking Daphne’s hands in her, “I mean it even if I have to go to some horrible infested swamp I will be there for you.”
“I know.”
“Umm Professor Ingel- Phaedra?” Phaedra and Daphne turn noticing the novices standing there to the side shuffling their feet and picking at their nails, “We are ready to try the realignment.”
“Of course I will be right there,” turning back to Daphne, Phaedra gives her hands a quick squeeze.
“Professor? Now that is certainly new.”
“I will tell you all about it, maybe we can meet for tea.”
“I’ve been drinking a lot more coffee recently,” she shoots one of her companions - the one dressed in dark leathers with a feathered mullet? but definitely possessed- a look; a look Phaedra will be asking about, “but I know just the place. You’ll love it.”
Phaedra gives her hands one last squeeze and placing a kiss on her forehead before making her way back into the gardens listening to the novices plan of action.
…..
Daphne watches Phaedra leave with her students following behind like a gaggle of ducks on The Minanter. She turns to her companions she sees the wisps floating around them drawn by their curiosity.
“You two seem close,” Lucanis watches Phaedra leave, Daphne can hear the very edges of Spite speaking to him asking questions spirits are always curious about Phaedra and herself.
“That was Phaedra, and its complicated, we are the last of Ingellvars for all that the name is worth.” The name hangs heavy over both of them a defining who they were and are for so long. A name they will burn to nothing but ashes in the wind.
“So you are family?”
“As close as Children of the Crypts can get.”

Needle felted Phaedra (4th colossus) from Shadow of the Colossus.
At around 27 inches tall and about 22 inches long, it is easily the largest project I've made so far.

Cheth(/Cheth)/Phaedra
In the end, after everything, they were too late by mere moments.
Time travel fix-it post-speculative bad ending. Established relationship from one side whilst the other side is just incredibly confused.

Weeby’s Random Thoughts #9 (The Barbie Series)
The final small installment of Weeby’s Barbie Randomness, before I move on to a bigger project! Enjoy! @artzychic27 @imsparky2002
Swan Lake:
In a distant kingdom, thriving in a time of magic, there lived a young girl, Ondine (Odette), the daughter of the village baker, with beautiful red hair and a lovely dancer. One day, a unicorn, Missy (Lila), happens to wander into the village, and Ondine is compelled to follow her through a waterfall into an enchanted forest. When Missy gets caught on a branch by the rope around her neck, Ondine pulls a crystal from an ancient tree to cut her free, observed by Caline (Fairy Queen), the ruler of the forest and two of her most loyal elves, Denise (Carlita) and Simon (Ivan). It turns out the crystal is magic and the one who pulls it free will save the forest from Gabriel (Rothbart), Caline’s evil cousin, who then shows up with his daughter, Lila (Odile). He curses Ondine to become a swan during the day, as he did to most of the elves with other animals, but Caline turns the crystal into a crown which provides Ondine protection from further magic. To figure out how to defeat Gabriel, they visit the troll, Anais (Erasmus), to get the book of Forest Lore. After this, Ondine meets Prince Kim (Daniel) who Gabriel lured to the forest to shoot her while she was in swan form. The two quickly develop feelings for each other, and he invites her to royal ball, giving the magical creatures hope that the blossoming love between them can defeat Gabriel, but the wicked sorcerer has a plan involving a disguised Lila to prevent that. Ondine and the Enchanted Forest denizens work together to combat this, hoping they can make it in time…
Diamond Castle:
In another distant time, loving couple Rose (Liana) and Juleka (Alexa) live in a cottage together where they love to sing together and grow the flowers they sell in the village. One night, just after they find two perfectly heart-shaped stones that they use to make necklaces, a terrible storm blows through, destroying their garden. Despite this, Rose offers some of their food to a starving old woman, who gifts her a beautiful old hand mirror. As they sing while repairing their garden, a third voice joins them, which is when they meet Mindy (Melody), a young muse apprentice trapped in the mirror who is hiding from Nadja (Lydia), a scorned muse who desired to be the only one. Juleka and Rose quickly befriend and agree to help her, but they are found by Nadja’s dragon minion, Alec (Slyder). Mindy explains that if she plays the instruments of the other two muses, Clara and Vivica (Dori & Phaedra), they may be able to defeat Nadja. They begin their journey to the Diamond Castle, the home of the muses, along the way joined by Roarr and Daizzi (Lily & Sparkles), a tiger cub and piglet, and twins Adrien and Felix (Jeremy & Ian). But Nadja manages to get to Juleka by threatening her mother and brother, prompting her to try to keep Rose from continuing the journey when they happen upon a mansion that is supposedly fated to be theirs. An angry Rose refuses and leaves with Mindy, prompting a despairing Juleka to remove her magical necklace, leaving her able to be brainwashed by Nadja’s flute. Rose is then captured and meets the mesmerized Juleka, with Nadja taking Mindy, who agrees to take her to the castle if she releases the other two girls. Thankfully, Roarr brings Juleka’s necklace, allowing Rose to break the spell on her girlfriend, allowing the two to escape the cave to try to save Mindy, the Diamond Castle, and the world’s love of music!
Leave your thoughts in the comments and reblogs! Keep an eye out for an announcement about my new project!

Personality: At heart, she is a very deceptive girl who is will to fabricate false tales about herself to use people and to get ahead in life. Due to her parent's careers as lawyers for the corrupt PEACE and many questionable heroes, she has come to believe that lying is an acceptable practice to better one self. She shows no remorse for using people and sees people as her pawns to use in her way to fame and glory as a hero. She is very arrogant and loves bragging about all the stuff she's allegedly done, which includes good deeds in order to make herself seem like a good person. She is also very underhanded and devious who will use dirty tactics like framing someone for bullying her to get sympathy. When she is found to be lying she doesn't hesitate to turn on the people she once was pretending to friendly and gloats about how she fooled them. She also is very dramatic and loves putting on grand performances with her powers to wow people. She is very shallow and vain and tends to be very superficial. However, despite those traits she also is very intelligent and cunning which she uses to help herself in many situations. She likes attention and will get it by any means of lying. She also very self-centered and selfish and tends to not think about how her actions hurt others. She also is a would be gold digger who goes after boys who can bolster her status or are from a good background. Background: She was born to lawyers who did work covering for PEACE and many superheroes when it came to legal troubles, as a result she grew up a privileged lifestyle and also came to adopt their habits of lying and stretching the truth. She would get into the hero industry by becoming a sidekick and at first prove herself to be a friendly face among her fellow sidekicks and told fabrications about herself but then turn out to be a two faced liar who was never the person she really is and really is only out for the perks of being a hero. She would then drop the nice act and act more hostile to them while continuing the facade of being a fake nice girl in order to climb the top in the hero industry.
* She is based on Mandy Lux from Totally Spies and Lila Rossi from Miraculous Ladybug.
* She is getting into law school to become a lawyer on the side like her parents.
* Her powers at first were thought as not that threatening and useful until she trained them into being forceful blasts, aiming them at her opponents eyes, covering them up with it, using bursts to distract them, etc.
* Like Ruby Rani, Judger, and the Le Couturier, they are often the most disliked members of the circle of sidekicks. She actually being the most due to how she crosses lines Couturier and Rani don't cross.
* She and Rani butt heads and often compete for attention.
* She and Le Couturier will date at one point.
* She has a social media presence to bolster herself like Ruby Rani.
* She does freelancing like Couturier and like him it's to get attention of more prominent superheroes in hope they take her in and she can pick the one who can help her gain popularity. She really wants to one day get noticed by a member of the Golden Rule with her hopes either being Gold Heart or Miss Heed, who she is a fan of both.
* She is not above spouting lies to her fellow sidekick's mentors to make them think their sidekick is doing something wrong.
* She also loves spreading hurtful rumors in order to get back at those she dislikes.
* She has a great love for doing art projects with her glitter blasts. And is a big art fan which she loves to do as a hobby and hopes she can do it as a side gig and sell it at a high price when she becomes very famous.
