Darkwing Duck reboot by Frank Angones and Matt Youngberg

Aside from what I think about the Ducktales reboot as well as the Darkwing Duck reboot, which is a completely separate story, I found leaked Disney projects that talk about the Darkwing Duck reboot. Of course, this is Angones' plan to continue the Ducktales reboot in the form of Darkwing Duck, until Disney gave another man, Seth Rogen, to make a special Darkwing Duck reboot that will not look like this.

These are just the original plans for how Darkwing Duck was supposed to turn out, starring Drake Mallard, Launchpad McQuack and Gosalyn Mallard, and villains like Negaduck (Jim Starling), Quackerjack, Megavolt, Bushroot, Liquidator and Mark Beaks. And there would be Gizmoduck, Honker, Herb and Binkie Muddlefoot. Please enjoy reading and sorry if I disappointed anyone.

Yes, unfortunately for fans of Ducktales 2017, this project was not accepted in the end, so the Darkwing Duck reboot (the question of exactly when) will look very different.

Welcome Home: On The Road

Description: Remember Welcome Home, the popular TV show from the 70s? Well, if so, we revamped the old favorite show of many kids alike! In this new version of Welcome Home, we bring all the joy and nostalgia from the old show and flood it into our great new show, except this time we have a new hip look for the 90s and a few additions added! And this time their on the road in this sweet, sleek, and neat tour van! We have a lot to unload in this new fantastic reboot! Plus, new guest celebrities every episode!

Show run time: 1990-1993

Premise: The colorful characters of Home decide to try something new and explore across many areas. They have help from the new character Lex (OC) to teach them about all the cool things to see and hear! (plus some pop culture stuff) At the end of each episode, they get to do songs with the celebrity guest.

Segments: Instead of segments about learning, they have segments of the different cast of characters interacting with people of all ages and skin colors, learning about the stuff they like to do!

Characters:

Main: Wally, Barnaby, Howdy, Julie, Poppy, Frank, Eddie, Sally, and Lex (teen oc).

Side: Jonesy, Bea, Franny, Home, Mrs. Beagle, etc.

Theme song:

project-isles here! you probably know me as the main writer and storyboard artist of aga rebooted and creator of jester!goldie.

what is aga rebooted?

well, it's quite easy to tell from the title but it's a slight rewrite and redraw of aga. improving and expanding on the series so it makes sense and is more fun to enjoy without you wondering about that one weird plothole.

what has project been doing?

I've been slowly making story boards for aga rebooted, for like after the redraw and rewrite of og comic, mainly fixing backgrounds, making the pizzaria make sense |which is a nightmare btw| and stuff. But the way I'm going about it is a bit odd. Let's just say their not your regular story boards but that's another story for another day. also Figuring out body shapes of the characters, making story board versions of them so I can plot out the comic better.

I’ll be honest, as someone that is feeling very apprehensive about the new reboot, especially since I’ve found out that SMG has a very clear preference when it comes to her vampire love interests, I still don’t like to see this almost violent negativity directed at the project. From Spuffy fans specifically. Like ppl are genuinely wishing for it to fail.

We don’t even know anything substantial about it and people are already hoping it will crash and burn.

And here I am, without much to share visually AAAAAA BUT HEY! I decided to compile my fav bunch of art I did during those years of the Reboot/G2 that made me rediscover such a cool franchise (and the last artworks are two of the most modern ones).

Plus, I can really say that without these art experimentations, I wouldn't have developed so many of my modern rendering techniques!
