you wake up to wonbin pressing a cold cloth over your forehead, his hand running over your cheek to gently coax you out of your sleep. when your eyes finally open, he leaves a kiss to your nose. “this is why you’ve been ignoring me? you were asleep all day?” he asks, not angry, being sweet as he caresses your skin.

“sorry, bin..” you groan, turning on your side. “feel bad..”

“i know.” he gently pushes a thermometer into your mouth, sighing at the rapid beeping. “you’ve got a fever..” you try apologizing again, but he gently shushes you, “why didn’t you say anything? why didn’t you tell anyone you were sick?”

you pull the blanket off of your head, revealing your full face, along with your glossy, apologetic eyes. “you’re so busy, i didn’t want to bother you..” maybe it’s the fever, but you feel a little more childish, a pout tugging at your lips.

he kisses you once again, just on the corner of your mouth. “i’m never too busy for you. now, let me fix this, okay?”

for the rest of the day, wonbin coddles you, taking care of your every need. it’s quite a contrast to how your relationship usually is, but a welcome change. he helps you out of bed, takes you to the shower, and remakes your bed while you’re in there. you come out to fresh sheets, and a warmed up towel. once you’re dressed, there’s food for you in the kitchen, paired with medicine nobody likes, but he’s got anything and everything you might want to wash it down. he’s so sweet, and you already feel better knowing you have your boyfriend by your side to take care of you. you couldn’t imagine what it’d be like if he hadn’t discovered you. thankfully, you don’t have to worry about it, because your self proclaimed ‘nurse’ is right there to take care of you, making sure you don’t have to lift a finger.

a/n: this is wayy longer then it was supposed to be & the ending is very rushed, hope you enjoy tho!

you were currently sitting in the living room of your apartment studying for your upcoming exam. you’ve been studying for a week straight, declining invites from your friends to hang out.

feeling your phone buzz you decided to take a small break. you pick up your phone seeing a text from your best friend, anton.

you let out a sigh as you get up, deciding to take a quick shower before anton gets here. after putting your clothes on you hear a knock at your door.

you let out a quick “coming!” before rushing to the door and opening it, revealing anton. “hey, you ready?” he asks as you open the door. “not yet, i just need to finish my hair.” you respond, letting him in.

he nods and silently follows you to your room, sitting on your bed while you sit at your vanity. he scrolls on his phone as you start to finish doing your hair

as you finish your hair you start to put on your lipgloss to finish your look. you can feel anton’s eyes on you so you look at him through the mirror.

“what?” you ask him, he gulps before replying with “nothing”. you raise your eyebrows at him before looking away, setting your phone and lipgloss in your purse.

“okay, im ready” you start while getting up, “how do i look?” you finish. “you look pretty” he replies with a shrug, getting up from his place on your bed.

you make your way to anton’s car after making sure your front door is locked. as you approach the car you notice anton holding the door open for you.

“what a gentleman” you tease with a smile before getting in the car. he rolls his eyes in response, closing the door after you get it before making his way to the driver’s side.

he starts the car and connects his phone to the aux, playing your shared playlist. you both sing along as ‘wildflower’ by billie eilish starts playing.

you wince at how loud the music is as you and anton make your way into the house. you let out a small sigh as you make your way into the kitchen before anton leans down to your ear.

“we can leave whenever you want, just have some fun first!” he says, handing you a drink with a smile as you reach the kitchen. you mumble a “thank you” before taking a sip and coughing at how strong the drink is.

“yo anton!” you hear in the distance, you and anton both looking at where the voice was coming from before seeing your friend seunghan appear.

he wraps an arm around anton’s shoulder, greeting you both. “all the boys are playing beer pong” he starts, pointing to the table where the rest of the boys are, “wanna join?” he asks.

anton hesitates before responding, “sure, why not” he says before getting dragged away. a small sigh escapes your mouth before you take another sip of your drink.

spotting some of your friends across the room you decided to make your way to them. but before you could leave the kitchen someone stops you.

you raise your eyebrows looking at the man in front of you, “can i help you?” you ask, clearly annoyed. “you can actually, can i get your number?” he asks with a smirk.

“sorry. not interested” you responded, trying to leave but he wouldn’t get out of the way. looking around to ask someone for help you notice anton in the distance.

you open your mouth to call him before you notice he’s surrounded by girls. you feel a pang of jealousy before turning back to the guy in front of you.

“actually.. you can get my number!” you say, holding out your hand for his phone. he was kinda cute and you needed anything to get over your crush on anton right now.

after putting your number in and sending yourself a quick text you hand him his phone back. you give him a small smile before refilling your cup. you gulp it down before refilling it again and making your way towards your friends.

as you walk towards them you can feel anton’s eyes on you but you choose to ignore him, taking a sip of your drink. when you reach your friends you catch up with them after not seeing them for a while and after some convincing you finally agreed to take shots with them.

after a few rounds of shots you start to feel dizzy. you excuse yourself before rushing to find a bathroom, not noticing someone following you.

as you reach the bathroom you began to throw up, hearing a familiar voice let out a curse before holding your hair back. as you finish puking you sit on the floor, closing your eyes and leaning your back against the wall.

you hear the sound of water running, not bothering to open your eyes until you feel something wiping your mouth. you slowly open your eyes to see your best friend throwing away the towel with your puke on it.

he turns around at the sound of you getting up. you stumble a bit before grabbing onto him to stabilize your balance. “let’s get you out of here” he says softly, putting your arm around his shoulder and wrapping his arm around your waist.

as you reach his car he quickly opens the door, deciding to lay you down in the backseat. he rushes to get in his car and turning the air on to cool you down.

he starts to drive to his house since it was closer than yours. as you reach his house he notices you fell asleep. with a sigh, he picks you up and carries you into the house and to his room.

he lays you down in his bed and takes of your shoes before taking in your appearance. he goes to his closet and gets out some comfortable clothes for the both of you, knowing you wouldn’t want to sleep in the clothes you have on now.

he makes his way back over to you, closing his eyes as he starts to take of your shirt and putting his on you, doing the same with your pants. he lets out another sigh when he finishes.

after changing his clothes and making his way back to the room he pulls the blanket over you. noticing a few hairs falling on your face anton softly tucks them behind your ear.

you stir in your sleep, your eyes fluttering open as you see anton begin to walk away. “toni, stay” you softly let out.

anton turns around and looks at you “are you sure?” he asks. you let your eyes close as you lift the blanket up, inviting him in.

he walks back over to his bed hesitating before he slips in beside you. you slide closer to him, pulling his arms around you.

“you know,” you start as your eyes flutter open, “i really really like you.” you finish with a small smile, slowly feeling yourself drifting off to sleep.

anton looks down at you in shock before softly saying “i really really like you too” as he tightens his grip around you and pulling you closer.

your smile grows bigger as you rest your head against his chest, “goodnight ton” you say sleepily, letting your eyes close. “goodnight y/n” you hear him say as he presses a light kiss against your forehead before you fall asleep.
