the alliance arc strikers striking similarity to the armless alliance arc

of course it isn't a one too one, due to multiple aspects such as viewer vs character voting (and the writing in general)

However the arcs due strike a resemblance to each other

A alliance which has:

A "asshole"(not aggressively a asshole in pencil's case but still) who gets off scot free due to their established role(pencil being the leader, nickel having ties with baseball)(by asshole I mean like a character who just turns into a worse person during the arc)

An enabler whose too emotionally connected to the asshole to criticize them and ends up acting like them/in support of them (match and baseball)

A character who enjoyed being in the alliance at some point but decided to stand up for themselves/a friend (bubble and suitcase)

A character who has a negative relationship with the asshole and the enabler (supporting the "3rd good og member character") (I personally give this role to fanny, because ice cube represents a whole different aspect of the freesmarts arc yada... but for sake of argument you could say Balloon is if Fanny and Ice Cube mixed and were less negative/vengeful)

Of course with the alliance/freesmarts you have more members and more dynamics etc.

and the writing in the later in the show isn't a one too one yada yada

I know salt and pepper have a kind of similar thing on a surface level to match and Pencil, but they've got one key difference

Through all of II Pepper and Salt mostly have themselves

whilst Pencil and Match have a full ASS alliance which ALWAYS included bubble from the default

I'm no tech expert but I do find myself on a tech trend video(I watched these like drama channels man) from time to time and he's made me realize something

I feel as if current tech bro trends are bascially fashion trends... Their super big and the "must invest in" thing, every year it feels like there's a new one. And everyone hypes it up even if it makes no sense in the long term.

And then the next year insted of letting that thing develop and flurish (Thank god), people comepletey ditch it in favor of the new shiny thing in technology. People comapines you name it. Like

"OH my god we should do vr headsets because the metaverse is the future" and then the next year it's like "Oh my god ai will change the feild"

And I won't lie both these things can be good when used right, both these things can mabye (Albiet I'm leaning more on vr) better our world. It' just poeple try to mix them in with everything and never put their mind into one main thing we could be imporving/doing with them.

And in the future insted of being seen as things that can still help and be used, their seen as outdated tech and most of the time their fially seen as what they usually are

my personal roman empire (or one of my 100 roman empires), is the fact the bfdi community specfically has this issue of dumbing down dynamics beetween characters to "aw so wholesome"

People gravitiate to one specfic moment in their dynamic and then completey ignore the suddle changes in beetween them

(cough cough matchil, peneraser, tengolf)

soo many people also ignore the less suddle characteristchs of characters and dumb them down to their main trait/traits

(coguh coguh people saying fanny got so much better after tpot 7 as if her being a good friend/having a sense of justice wasn't a part of her character since like bfb)

and also the way certian fans just ignore the previous seasons

I don't like the fact people just act like bfdi is the simple and silly main show that's never had any shifts in characters/arcs/themes. I'm not trying to say it's fucking idk hamlet but it still annoys me poeple just see it as that.

the thing about me is I don't hate Matchbrush I just don't like how it was potrayed as a dyanmic

I wasn't into the osc when this thing was a big deal on da but looking back it just seems so OOC...

Like I don't feel like PB would be super head over heels for Match? Are they suppose to be overheels? What is their bond? How do they even function as a couple?

Their dynamic feels more like them doing romantic things in a basic way without any context to them or how the ship even works, none of the art ever really plays on their personalities and is just kinda

yeah you can tell there's a fling there but... why is there a fling? what would their dynamic be like? would the be compatable?

I see their dynamic as PB giving her advice and her letting PB rant out their anger to her, I feel like Match would try to be like
