Anon #2 is right though, people are getting too worked up over that tweet lol. Even if 2 of the pairs shown (EternalBerry and SeaMoon) have actual canonicity behind them, it's still just fanservice. It's a fanservice post. They did this last year, too, with Herb x Sparkling and ChiliRye and Espresseleine. Just trying to scrounge up likes on social media, it doesn't actually mean anything for canon. No sense in either throwing a rager or getting bent out of shape about it. Just smile at the ship additions you like and roll your eyes at the ones you don't and then go back to business as usual. CRK-onlys are so unbearable lol. CROB players aren't all that much better, but I feel like they've calmed down some in recent years and CRK players are just... a whole different animal. I will say though. It's veeeeeerrrryyyy odd that ShadowVanilla isn't there. That ship is the new juggernaut in CRK. I actually raised my eyebrows when I saw they were missing. WildChip I understand, sure. But no ShadowVanilla? No Vanilla Milkshake? That's pretty crazy

Raspberry Cookie is the overworked princess of the Hollyberry kingdom, who is soon to be married off to Madeleine cookie in a deal with the Créme republic. Chili Pepper is a travelling bandit working off her families debt after the passing of her mother and several other bad things. The two meet by luck, then by fate. Together they have to solve their life crisis’ before it’s too late. While they’re at it, they unravel a string of mysteries within the Hollyberry kingdom- including what happened to the real princess (or, as they learn, princesses).

In depth under the cut. I need to warn I wrote this on No sleep and no food snd rereading it there’s a million typos but if I keep fixing it now I won’t sleep yknow how it be

- Princess Cookie never returns home from ‘Vacation,’ leading Raspberry cookie to win the Princess Competition.

- She helps Gingerbrave defeat Pitaya Dragon and returns the kingdom to safety.

- Pitaya is defeated and all is returned to normal. The kingdom hosts a festival to celebrate Raspberry becoming Princess.

- she ends up having a panic attack during the festival. She runs away for a moment to cool down and make sure she is always presentable. She runs into a masked thief with red hair.

- she tries to subdue them at first, but the thief is very suave and sees right through her mask. They help Raspberry through her panic attack, and slowly starts to get closer to her.

- Eventually Raspberry realizes that she has been missing from the event. She goes to leave, but the thief suddenly kisses her. She is so awestruck she doesn’t notice a gem from her new tiara is plucked out.

- The Queen is infuriated with her, but the crowing continues. She never replaces the gem- subconsciously waiting to get the real one back again.

- multiple years pass. She has been doing her best to be the Hollyberry Kingdoms best Queen. She has done everything she was supposed to- she earned back the honor of House Raspberry, she saved the kingdom, and has been keeping it flourishing ever since. All she had to do was keep that up for the rest of her life with no more slip ups.

- she learns one day that her Mother is marrying her off to Madeleine Cookie as part of a deal with The Créme Republic. Although she would never show it, she is absolutely devastated. She was at least still her own person where she was. Once she was married off she would loose so much. And the man she was meant to marry was… subpar (fucking horrible; but she is too polite to say that)

- meanwhile: Chili Pepper and her family live in a rundown house on the outskirts of the old Vanilla kingdom. Her family is slowly falling apart. Her dad’s addictions are getting worse, it caused her eldest brother to run away, her twin siblings are slowly falling in with bad people, her mom dies, and her abusive uncle moves in afterwards to ‘help’, and they are quickly going into debt.

- The only good thing that came from any of this was living with her cousin: Ghost Pepper Cookie. He was just a couple years older than her, but those two years somehow jumpstarted him into the kind of life she wanted to live. Wild, reckless, exhilarating, and rich if she played her cards right.

- together the two start taking on big jobs. The money was split three ways: one cut for both of them, another for home, so hopefully they can drag their family out of debt and fix everything so they can run off and go become the travelling bandits they had promised they would be as kids.

- their next biggest job? Steal the Sword and Shield of Radiant Light before Madeleine Cookie left The Hollyberry Kingdom

- while walking the streets one day, Raspberry gets a glimpse of it. Firey red hair, the smell of spice, and a small glint of a gem she had been waiting years to get back.

- they confront each other. Each has changed, but not in a way the other has imagined. They fight for a good long while; but Chili Pepper has a way with words, and gets Raspberry to break down again. This time though, Chili feels different. She’s used to making relationships as a means to get somewhere. Making relationships with their targets bride-to-be would be a boon. But she just feels wrong about it. The way Raspberry just melts into her once she’s gotten her mask off… all her life people either trusted a false version of her, or feared her true self. Nothing more. Raspberry knows what Chili Pepper is like. But even after all their previous interactions, the princess still trusts her.

- Ghost Pepper is ecstatic to learn they now have a one way ticket to their target through Raspberry. But he knows his cousin. Chili doesn’t talk about people with those eyes and that smile without it meaning something. He helps Chili figure it out. She isn’t going to use Raspberry this time- she’s sure of it- but she has yet to inform the noble of her job.

- Chili and Raspberry start to meet up more. The Madeleine are staying in The Hollyberry kingdom for about 4 months. Once the wedding is over Raspberry is getting shipped off to the Créme Republic to live the rest of her life as a trophy piece.

- Chili takes Raspberry to do all the things she never got to do before hand. She makes a disguise: Pepperjam Cookie. Chili and Her commit pety heist, travel around the kingdom, god to bars and parties- live life together.

- Raspberry realizes that outside of defeating Pitaya with Gingerbrave- she’s never really done anything. Don’t get her wrong she has a million and one accomplishments to flaunt. But it’s not like this, like how Chili lives. Once the four months are over, that’s it. She’ll never do anything ever again.

- when she learns that Chili is there to take her Husbands prized possession, she sees an opportunity. She knows part of why the deal is happening is because House Madeleine is falling into trouble. If their Golden Boy looses all that makes him shine, what’s left for them? Even marrying the Hollyberry Princess wouldn’t be enough to dig him out of that hole.

- she starts to help Chili and Ghost Pepper.

- everything comes to a head in the last few weeks. Raspberry and Madeleine discover something that changes everything: The real Hollyberry Princess, and the Queens ‘long lost’ daughter.

- Madeleine has become a Hero of the Hollyberry kingdom. And because of that, there’s even more pressure for the two to elope.

- of course, Raspberry can’t have an issue without Chili Pepper also getting an issue. They learn their father and uncle gambled away the house due to their debt, but then plunged themselves into even more during a bender. Their family is now on the run being hunted by debt collectors, and it’s up to Chili and Ghost Pepper (and maybe Chilis older brother?) to 1. get the debt collectors off their back and 2. find a home for their siblings before its too late

- with such a short amount of time left, there isn’t much the three can do to change the outcome of this situation.

- Raspberry and her brother have been distant for quite some time- and all the recent events has only made that gap larger. Raspberry Mouse was supposed to be Pride and joy. However he never quite made the mark for anything he wanted to do. Raspberry always outshine everything Mouse did. But with Raspberry being betroved, Mouse would take up the throne of the Hollyberry kingdom. As the wedding gets nearer he realizes that there isn’t much chance for him to be with his sister again. He has his grudges, but regret is much harder to hold than hate. They start to bond again. Despite the dark situation, Raspberry gets hope in this new relationship with her brother.

- they decide to take a tour of the castle. One last time before Raspberry would take her last steps and Princess and the title would become his. They end up snooping around a bit, and discover something wild about their new Hollyberrian family.

- The Queen and her scandal with Pitaya dragon had never been uncovered, but they had hard evidence she was the one who led Pitaya dragon into the kingdom. Not only that- they had evidence she purposely barred the true princes from returning, and that her ‘long lost’ daughter wasn’t a tragic accident.

Sometimes when I ship OC x Canon, I feel like something is wrong with me. For instance, I could ship Raspberry Cookie with my OC instead of her with Princess Cookie or Tiger Lily Cookie.
