Shifting story/experience!!!

It was late at night, I was laying down in my bed trying to shift. Keep in mind my room is dead silent.

Doing the raven method, I closed my eyes and began to do my affirmations. After about maybe ten minutes or so, I started to hear a voice as if it was right next to me. I felt eyes on me and my bed didn’t feel like my bed. I kept my eyes closed still affirming as I was freaking out in my mind. (Also I could like feel? Everything around me and it was for sure not my cr room) Yet I recognized the voices it was my s/o and his bestfriend. I felt a hand going through my hair and that’s when I panicked and woke up back in my cr.

Honestly I was in so much disbelief and happiness it was insane. But I’ve seen shifting story’s/ experiences on here, made me realize it wasnt just a dream.

Ps, this was a while back when I was new to shifting but that was the most ive shifted so far. But then I took a LONG break :(

OPTION 1: Yes, I script it to be safer in any degree -> which can range from completely scripting out the dangers of the world/setting to details that make certain situations a bit safer. OPTION 2: No, but I have some sort of safety net system that prevents me from being put in dangerous situations. (i.e. certain powers that activate when I'm in danger, or something sends me back in time to safety when I'm danger) ^if you have powers in general you also fall into option 2 OPTION 3: No, I don't script in anything relating to safety and I'm confident in my scripting.

(if you have multiple dangerous dr's just pick the one that's the most dangerous)

have fun with your shifting journey, make moodboards, write scenarios down, save pins to your pinterest board, day dream about your dr, plan your dates with your s/o, plan out your wardrobe. Shifting is supposed to be light and relaxing, you dont force it, it comes to you.

I have contemplated a ghost dr multiple times just to walk around and see how people would react to my death... I don't know if this is something someone who was mentally okay would do

what personally helped me in my shifting journey.

ʚɞ i learned that nothing is truly needed. it was always about want. if i didn’t want to do something, i didn’t do it. simple.

ʚɞ i formed my own opinions and beliefs. i would always follow what other people said about shifting and never really tried to think of what i personally believed.

ʚɞ i learned not to care about doubts or limited beliefs— which is easier said than done. i think it’s so easy for me because i know doubts will not slow down my journey. i know i have the ability to shift whenever i want to, no matter what.

ʚɞ misinformation truly didn’t matter to me anymore. even if you have been fed with misinformation, you can still shift either way. because there is no right or wrong way to shift— i think just clearing your mind and getting rid of that misinformation is more freeing instead of it being required.

ʚɞ i stopped looking for proof. i would always try to shift just because i wanted to prove it to people, but i realized i didn’t need to prove anything to anyone. shifting is a personal journey, they can find proof themselves. i will prove it to myself instead

ʚɞ i stopped looking for the “key” to shifting. every night i would open tumblr, looking for advice that would somehow make everything click. girl, everything already clicked. i know what i need, or WANT to know. and there is no key to shifting, why would there be a key if there’s nothing to unlock?

ʚɞ i don’t think of it as imagining, i think of it as remembering. those are my memories. they aren’t just daydreams, that is already my life. i experienced that. i am always in my DR.

ʚɞ when you’re living your life in your DR, all it takes is a simple decision if you want to go back to your CR. “i want to go back,” and you will go back. i think of shifting to my DR the same way. it’s all a decision— and it’s instant.

I will catch a glimpse of that girl in the mirror, find my husband in the doorway, and be grateful for the girl who never gave up— who couldn’t give up.
