Lovely and Darlin'

( They're just blowing off steam, don't worry ). This definitely happens after the first meeting with Porter x).

None of the poses are mine, I found them on Pinterest and used them for practice.

Reference is from Castlevania Nocturne.

Add black sclera, and this is basically how I imagine Lovely's eyes would look like when she's using her power as an angry vampire ( it didn't look good when I tried to draw it so I will probably do it digitally at some point ).

Another little headcanon of mine is that her scars glow when she uses magic.

In my personal hc, Quinn and Tank didn’t have a “brief dalliance”. They dated for much longer than in canon, like at least a year.

Gabe’s death hits Tank hard. He was practically their adopted father and was one of the only people looking out for them. Then Tank’s family moves to Washington, and Tank is left alone, for all intents and purposes.

They meet Quinn soon after. It’s a “friendship” that quickly evolves into something more complicated. Quinn is a masterful manipulator, and he reads people very well. He can see how isolated Tank is, with no outlet for their grief or self loathing. He knows he can use this to his advantage.

However, he can also see that Tank has strong morals. They are loyal to a fault and have a resolute sense of justice. Quinn knows he has to play his cards right. He can’t reveal his true nature to them until they are so tightly wrapped around his finger that they can’t bear to let him go.

So he lures them in. He lets them be wild and messy. The two of them break social rules and engage in taboo activities, like feeding. They’re reckless, but they don’t hurt anyone (other than themselves). Quinn only brings Tank into certain crowds, only lets them see certain sides of himself.

Then he starts to hurt Tank. They take it because they’re “tough”, and they think they deserve it. The abuse worsens. The pack starts to get concerned. In response, Tank pulls away. They don’t want the pack to be concerned or get involved. Tank accepts Quinn’s behavior because his cruelty is only directed at them.

Eventually, Quinn brings them into his innermost circle. He stops hiding his criminal activities. He stops hiding how he hurts people. He lets them see how inhumane he is, believing Tank is too far in and too loyal and too damaged to ever defy him.

But Tank is a good person. Despite what Quinn tells them. Despite what Tank believes. They have a good heart and care for others deeply. So when they see Quinn’s true colors, they report him and leave.

And Tank thinks that makes them weak. But it’s one of the strongest things they’ve ever done.

mostly because they like making them at home but more so is that they get to make them with Sam and anything they get to make with Sam is worth the extra hour or so that goes into making them instead of buying them

Idol David, Asher, Milo, and Tank debuting together but there was this time when Tank suddenly goes on a really really long hiatus to the point that when they came back, new fans don't recognize them and people gave the group criticism for letting some "random" person join a really popular group. It died down eventually and more fans seems to really like Tank now but theres still mixed feelings

When Quinn witnesses Darlin fight in their wolf form, all he sees is a beast. A ferocious monster, big and intimidating and powerful. One at his beck and call, no less. He lets them lick their own wounds when the fight is over. If they did well enough, maybe he’ll offer them a quick pat on the haunches before leaving them be in their own blood and sweat. They don’t know a lick of healing magic, let alone anyone in their circle at the time that might help them. Darlin walks around with large bruises and bandages strung lazily across their body. Not for lack of trying— they’re just so sore, so tired that it takes effort to reach the places that need covering. Their poor eating habits and lack of sleep make the healing process especially slow.

When Sam witnesses Darlin fight in their wolf form he sees a scared animal. Cornered, wild eyes darting around— as if looking for a way out. Lip curled with low posture. They fight like they’ve been backed into a corner even in the most open of spaces. Once they shift back, he’s all over them in seconds. Checking for wounds, healing said wounds, tight hugs and deep breaths. Affirming to them that they’re ok, he’s ok. More than anything he’s reassuring himself. The wounds he can’t heal he wraps and treats with the supplies he has until he’s recuperated enough to continue healing them. He’ll bring them food in bed, much to their chagrin.

“I can get up myself! You don’t have to bring it to me I’m fine.”

“You’ll pop a stitch if you move around too soon. Quit your whinin’, you big baby.”

When they’re alone, Darlin will shift and lay in Sam’s lap sleeping soundly. He’ll run his hands through their fur and get caught tracing the large scars where fur refuses to grow back. Soft and gentle as if they’re still fresh, still tender. He 's caught in a trance staring at nothing while doing so until a rhythmic thumping breaks him from it.

Still asleep, it’s Darlin’s wagging tail.
