ok last post before i go to bed i promise. tomorrow i might have to employ tab jail and classical music to try and replicate the time i transcended and did 11 writing assignment in like 4 hours

*Cautiously peeking my head up* no fanfiction tabs open on my phone....am I. Free? Is it over?
#Been unwell to the degree of reading several million words of check please fic over the last month and a half#Many of them up to 4 times even when they're 80k+ words#And not enjoying it but like physically unable to stop? Like severely negatively impacting my real life? Lol#But uh. sometimes i forget I have other tabs open on my desktop and I'm only reminded to close them when my browser starts running slower than I'm used to
#ceri rambles#immediately closing whatever tabs I dont need anymore#out of the fear the browser will run so slow it just forcefully closes everything#and i have to reopen everything again

finally got my new computer and made the move to firefox. there's only 4 things i liked more with opera gx so far and those are: 1) getting to have a wallpaper for a new tab 2) getting to see if any of the people i follow on twitch are live by just glancing to the sidebar (this one's not too bad but i did catch a lot of streams this way since twitch hates giving me notifs) 3) i could close all my tabs but the browser wouldn't close because of the gx corner and, 4) the gx corner. i like free games. a lot but hey if anyone's got good recommendations for ways i can replace these functions through extensions or whatever i'll gladly take em. im glad to not be using a chromium based browser anymore and really really don't wanna switch back

I hate how often google has to update now. Like please stop making me close all of my tabs every other fucking day for an update that makes 0 noticeable difference and clearly function fine without considering you work fine when I don't immediately do the update.
#and yes I have to close all my tabs#because the function on my computer that is supposed to reopen all the tabs once the update is over#doesnt fucking work#so if I dont close them beforehand they dont show in my history bar and I cant reopen them at all#its really fucking frustrating#and makes the near constant google updates so fucking annoying

i am so attached to all of my tabs. i need them all.
#i just had to close them all for this stupid fucking exam i had to take#not even a real one just a practice exam#and i'm sooo mad i didn't bookmark them to reopen later#i want them all i need them ALL#i only had like 45 which is a reasonable number#but too many to open up again#especially since i had to do a ton of googling to problem solve shit in my practice exam#and the application opened like 50 tabs.....#so it's just a pain in the ass lmfao#i just love my tabs is that so wrong

If you click in on the mouse wheel on a link it automatically opens it in a new tab. And if you mouse wheel click on a tab, it closes it
my beautiful wife "open link in new tab"
#ctrl+shift+t reopens last closed tab#ctrl+w closes current tab#ctrl+tab/ctrl+shift+tab to cycle forwards/backwards through tabs#ctrl+[num] to jump to that tab in your browser (9 always jumps to the last if you have more than 9)#so many fun keyboard shortcuts
