Can Your Child Build the Next Hit Game? Here’s How to Start

First of all, let’s talk numbers.
Minecraft – Created by Markus Persson, sold to Microsoft for $2.5 billion.
Roblox creators – Many teen developers are earning ₹1–5 lakhs/month, just by building games on the platform.
Flappy Bird – Built in just a few days by a solo developer. At its peak, it earned ₹35–40 lakhs per day in ad revenue.
Adopt Me! on Roblox – Made by two young developers; now valued in millions, with over 30 billion visits.
These weren’t built by giant corporations — many of them were created by young, curious minds who started just like your child: by exploring and learning.

TinkerCoders — Where Young Minds Turn Ideas into Innovation
Kids are dreamers and it is the responsibility of the parents and teachers to make sure that they navigate safely towards the right direction. They need to develop the essential 21st century skills like digital literacy, creativity, critical thinking, etc that nurture them for the digital future.

ppl used to try to make fun of me for using zoo tycoon as a reference for animal shit and idk man like.... the game is literally built off the idea of educating you, it literally has an encyclopedia that tells you not only about the animals but also about the plants too. yeah its a tycoon game but thats only if you focus on it in that sense, personally i dont, I've always liked playing it to learn more about the behaviors of animals. sure things are generalized here and there and not 100% accurate- partially bc it was made in the early 2000's and we've probably acquired more info since then, but regardless its still pretty solid and taught me a lot about certain animals growing up, which other tycoon games dont really offer... anything teach-worthy.
#all im saying is the things zoo tycoon tells me about animals and their behaviors- i can easily google and verify as true.#hardly is it off unless its espousing old data we now know is wrong.#and yeah the ai of the animals is gonna ai and act the way a video game animal would but like be real- WHAT other game pays that much#attention to detail on animal behaviors to even come up with a procedure they can all follow that while robotic and maybe timed too#well to be a little unrealistic since animals dont have as much of a routine like that- they still do all the things those animals do- just#on a routine instead.#i literally used to give so little of a fuck about the tycoon part of the game that i would just put a wall around the entrance and close#the zoo so i could make a wildlife sanctuary and watch the animals interact with eachother lol#it was fun. i also really enjoyed building their environment to be accurate#bc like- not only did it teach me stuff through the encyclopedia- but teaching me this stuff made me MORE curious so i'd seek out#more info. like its a good game and it teaches you p well about animals and is def a game that younger ppl interested in learning#about animals should check out. DEFINITELY a good start to get your kids into animal biology.#im sorry that yall are ig incurious and only ever played the game for the tycoon part but im built different babe#(@ the ppl who tried to make fun of me. yes also animals need more space lmao die mad ig ✌️only referenced the game bc it was#the clearest and most obvious source to me since the game tries to be accurate- but also i know its true from watching MANY MANY#episodes of those animal cop shows where ppl would hoard their animals and on those shows they'd talk about how much space animals#need. and if thats not a good enough source for you then it literally takes second of searching on google. all ik#is if a wolf needs a big ass territory to roam then a dog will never fully be satisfied unless it has that. obv thats an unreasonable#thing to expect ppl to achieve in this day and age- but the less and less you're able to get anything close to that- the less happy they'll#be. and ofc it depends on the dog and their size. which makes it worse when you try to keep a big working dog cramped in a tight space)

Roddy learns about Deadlock when he barges into Ratchet's lab after a nasty engagement with the Quintessons without letting him know first and needs repairs for either his mech or himself badly (drops mic and runs)
Ooooohhhhhheheheheh. My favourite catchphrase. IMAGINE
Roddy and Ratchet are good friends. Good enough for Roddy to know where Ratchets little hideout is. So. One of Roddy's missions goes horribly wrong, he's cut off from his squad, his mech is damaged and he's badly wounded and the Quintessons are on his back. He calls Ratchet because Ratchet's hideout is closest to him and the bleeding doesn't leave him much time to get back to base.
Except. The Quintessons are still chasing him and he just doesn't have the strength to fight them off or run away and he's starting to panic and his vision is blurry and that's the end, right?
But Ratchet's like, oh fuck, don't you dare dying in there, and then he hears Ratchet speaking to someone like, “Kid, I need your help.”
Roddy manages to think “who the fuck would Ratchet call kid” before another another ABSOLUTELY FUCKING UNFAMILIAR mech bursts into the battle, scattering the Quintessons, shooting off their limbs and ripping their eyes out with its claws to blind them and it is. Such a massive bloody mess.
Bonus thoughts - Roddy at first thinks that Deadlock is some kind of AI piloted robot haha

Cursed (Avengers X Reader)

Series Masterlist
Part Seven
You walk hand in hand with Wanda to the dining room where the others have gathered for dinner. Your nerves grow with each step but you try your best to remain calm and keep your face from showing just how scared you are. You know the chances of them hating you are slim yet after so long of being met with nothing but violence and hatred it's almost impossible to expect anything else.
Rounding the corner, you're met with silence as the group composed of mostly strangers stares at you. You subconsciously move closer to Wanda, seeking out her comfort. Back at Hydra you used to have a main caretaker that you would latch onto but he disappeared after less than a year. Now you find yourself acting the same way with a woman you just met just because she offered to be there for you.
Steve clears his throat, shooting you a reassuring smile after glaring at the others at the table as if mentally scolding them. Your eyes flicker over the familiar faces first as Wanda leads you to the table and unfortunately you find that the two open seats are next to people you haven't seen yet. You try not to panic as Wanda has you sit down next to the one with dyed hair while she sits next to a man who didn't look human.
"Do not worry, маленькая кукла. He is my brother Pietro. I promise you can trust him." Her voice is soft as she speaks barely above a whisper, just loud enough for you to hear her. You barely know her, but for some reason you feel as if you can trust her with your life. So when she tells you that you can trust her brother, you believe her.
"It was Clint's turn to make dinner so I hope you like spaghetti, kid." Tony chirps up from his spot at the end of the table. Your gaze flickers to him as he holds up his fork that has noodles swirled around it, as if showing you how to eat the meal. You appreciate the gesture since you more than likely would've made a fool out of yourself otherwise.
You take a second to watch a few others to see the way they eat the food before attempting it yourself. It's unsurprising that it takes you more than one try before you successfully manage to twirl the saucy noodles around your fork. Pausing, you mentally prepare yourself to eat not only a new food but also your first real meal. You're so lost in your own thoughts that you fail to notice everyone watching you as you finally take your first bite.
In all honesty, the meal is basic and lackluster but to you it tastes like heaven. Your first warm meal. Your first time eating with other people. Your first time feeling safe. It's almost overwhelming but you manage to keep from showing your growing emotions as you focus entirely on eating. Seeing as it's your first time eating real food, it's not that shocking that you barely manage to clear half of your plate before you start to feel a bit sick.
"Did you enjoy the food?" Wanda questions you, a small smile on her lips. You nod, wanting to smile in return to make the answer more convincing but your lips refuse to move from their neutral state. "I'm glad. Perhaps next time it's my turn to cook you can help me. Cooking is a great way to take your mind off of things."
"Wanda is an excellent cook." Her brother Pietro finally talks which makes you stiffen a bit. If he noticed he doesn't show it. "She is the perfect person to learn from. You will be master chef in no time."
Wanda seems embarrassed of her brothers praise as her cheeks flush in color. Unfortunately before anything else can be said, a strange robotic voice echoes throughout the room. You know that it's Friday, the AI that had been mentioned but suddenly hearing it still makes you jump a bit.
"Sir, Director Fury is here. He is waiting for you in conference room C."
"Well, that's my que." Tony stands up as he claps his hands together. You all watch as he exits the room and you turn to Wanda with a questioning look.
"Director Fury is basically the boss. He's in charge of missions and such." She places her hand on your shoulder. "If you're finished with dinner, why don't we go to the common room and watch a movie?"
You agree with her despite having no real idea what a movie is. The two of you head into a different room filled with couches and chairs, a few of the others following after you. Wanda leads you over to a two person couch, pulling you to sit down beside her.
Glancing around the room, you look at who else decided to join in. Steve sits in a chair by himself, paper in hand as he writes something down. Natasha and Clint sit down on another two seater, sharing a bowl filled with something that smells quite good. Pietro sits on the floor in front of his sister, leaning back against her legs. Everyone else is spread out randomly besides Bruce and Tony who are busy with other things.
The group spends some time arguing over what type of movie to watch. They're all calling out different words but you have no idea what's going on. None of them can seem to agree so in the end they tell Friday to play something random.
Despite it being potentially your first movie ever, you don't pay much attention to it. Instead you focus on the others, watching their reactions to what's happening on the screen. Every now and then they'll laugh at something said or done or they'll cheer when there's a fight scene. To you, they seem a lot more interesting than whatever movie is playing.
Out of nowhere the movie pauses, making Clint boo as he throws a handful of small puffed food at the screen. Friday apologizes for stopping the movie before explaining why she did. "Mr. Stark has requested that (Y/N) joins him in conference room C."
Wanda stands up, taking your hand in hers as she pulls you from the couch. You forgot that your name is apparently (Y/N) so you hadn't realized they were talking about you. The others wish you luck as you're dragged from the room as Wanda takes you to where you need to go. You have no idea why you're being summoned but you can only hope that it's nothing bad.

Forsaken | 007n7 x Robot!Reader (Platonic)
My friend suggested a fic with the reader being a robot but with an AI kinda like Neuro-Sama(iykyk) and I thought it's be whole to see 007n7 in dad mode again so yeah-
Reader's pronouns will be They/Them for this one!
You couldn't remember anything. Your chip was pretty much fried.
You were forsaken for actions you didn't remember. Your lifeless, robotic body was simply found by Builderman and although he was ecstatic to fix you up, you quickly proved to be a challenge.
You didn't show emotions but your programming was clearly flawed.
You'd have moments where you would crash out of nowhere or overheat for seemingly no reason. Usually this resulted in you either collapsing or completely freezing up because your AI had no idea what it was meant to do.
So, 007n7 was called to check on your code. It was like looking at a digital junkyard.
He had to eventually try to rewrite your entire code, removing concerning lines that indicated at you being built originally for brutal killings. He didn't even want to know if it was for better or for worse but seeing as you were brought to the Survivor cabin, it was likely for the better.
When you powered back on, he even tried to make you feel more lifelike. He had you learn on your own to mimic emotions and develop a personality.
He was actually quite proud of it despite the other survivors not really caring all too much.
You were rarely chosen for rounds, mostly being left behind to keep the cabin clean and prepare everyone some snacks and drinks for their return. Wether a round ended in victory or not, you still encouraged that they celebrated it.
007n7 didn't even program the latter into you. You had simply watched the others handle the kitchen and learned from observations and experimenting. Most of what you made was Pizza though because it was usually Elliot in the Kitchen.
But as time went on, you became more and more lifelike. And the other survivors treated you more like a person than an AI upon noticing it.
You had such a gentle and cheerful personality, only carefree outside of rounds and getting serious when you were in one. You had even grown protective over your fellow survivors and they didn't need detective work to know you were beginning to favour the ex-hacker.
Whatever, they figured it was because your code somehow recognized him as your 'creator' of sorts.
But 7n7 wasn't exactly thrilled by the way you treated him. It was too much like you were seeing him as a 'father', and it honestly scared him.
He was still grieving over failing his son and now he accidentally made himself the father to an AI? He couldn't even begin to figure out how he should feel about it.
At first he tried to discourage the behaviour, telling you not to see him as 'Father' and call him by his name. You listened, but only added to your coding to call him by his name, not changing his dynamic to you in the slightest.
Then he switched to a more neutral stance after the others began teasing him on having two kids now. He began being more gentle with you but usually tried to find excuses to send you off without questions. Of course, you would never dare to question your creator's commands. So you usually went off to do whatever ridiculous task he had given you before idling again.
But then he finally broke, and it felt as though the icy walls he had built began melting. He even started calling you "Kid" instead of your name half the time. For some reason, it made you happy. Especially when he messed up the artificial hair you've made yourself with a light chuckle.
He just couldn't escape it. You were his child now and upon changing the dynamic status for both 007's and c00lkidd's directories, you also began to learn of a new emotion...
Guilt.
Anything you'd like to request/ask? Check out my pinned post first and I'll be happy to write up whatever you want!

So one thing that has always made me chuckle in ME2 is the fact that Kal’Reegar is a marine in a Quarian suit. And he fits in with Shepard easily, the same attitude and headspace and cadence (for mShep at least). And I’m sitting here at work and the thought just hit me.
What if that’s because he is a marine in a Quarian suit?
Hear me out. Kal is older than Tali, or at least gives off those vibes, and so he would have been on his pilgrimage a while ago. Like maybe right after first contact. And here are these brand new people who came out of nowhere and had apparently enough fire power and attitude to give the Turians a very brief pause. The whole galaxy wants to know more. And humanity has no idea who is out there, but surely they can’t all be like the creepy bird people?
Cue one very curious Quarian in Shanxi, just as curious an out humanity as humanity is about everything. Meeting with early alliance brass, giving them information common palace to any kid with an extranet feed but wholly new to humanity. He explains that the Quarian don’t have ground forces because they don’t have a ground, and is honest about the geth, and is like ‘so how did you make the Turian Hierarchy freak out?’
And somehow ends up observing basic training, and falls in love with it. To the point where he actively asks to go through marine boot camp in Hanshan, and is just earnest and endearing enough to be allowed. So he goes through it, puts in the work and the blood and sweat and tears and makes the kinds of friends that you sort of have on the Flotilla, but everyone also knows you are all going to separate ships eventually and getting attached is hard.
But the humans will pack bond with a robot vacuum without issue, and when they meet a Quarian who wants to learn and thinks it’s amazing that they stood up to the biggest military in the galaxy running on old fashioned rocketry and spite? The marines adopt him as one of their own. They are brothers, something most single child Quarians have no experience with, and Kal gives it back in spades. He talks like them, fights like them, jokes and learns and is like them.
And when it is over and they graduate, it’s hard to turn down the offer to stay. But humanity respects the loyalty to his people that takes him back to the fleet, and it almost brings him to tears when his graduating class passes a cap for his passage back to the fleet in more comfort than sitting on a box in a volus cargo ship.
It actually brings him to tears when his drill instructor informs him that while it might not be in great shape, Arcturus has authorized them to gift Kal’Reegar with a battered but space worthy corsair and an official greeting from the Systems Alliance to the Migrant Fleet.
The SSV Jarhead is perhaps the best gift anyone is his age range can give to a future captain, though his practical military experience is a gift to the whole fleet. It catapults him through the Quarian military, from for soldier to instructor to commander, and somewhere he hopes that his brothers and sisters are as proud of them as he is of every transmission that makes it back to him.
On Haestrom, that training keeps him alive long enough to watch his squad die, and that cuts like nothing else. But he can’t stop, because the principle is still depending on him, and until his suit gives out he has to fight to her.
But then the voice cuts through the chatter of his own mind, and he *knows it*. Knows the cadence and the phrasing, knows how a human mouth forms the phrases that he has spent years trying to teach. Commander Shepard might not be a marine, but they are a human combat specialist and the fraternity is there.
Maybe it’s just three more people who are going to die for this fools errand, but somehow Kal doesn’t think so. There are two bone deep beliefs that he will carry it’s him to either the home world or the afterlife, and it has always felt appropriate to him that they rhyme. That they sound similar, when he breathes them into the air.
Keelah Salai. Semper Fi.

Seeing all the stuff about Google's Veo 3 is making me feel so numb and defeated dude. It's so bleak and terrifying that ai is advancing at this rate. I hate this erasure of art that is happening, i hate this robotic cold slop that is being fed to us and treated like it's this incredible thing. It makes me sick to my stomach that the soul of humanity itself is being destroyed and replaced by machines we created. Ai was meant to replace the jobs that no one wanted to do, not replace the very essence of the human race.
But.... On the bright side, it makes human made art even more special, the scribbles of a kid are more precious, the drawings of a teenager learning how to draw are more beautiful to see, simply because of the meaning behind them. The films made a film student are more valuable, music, art, etc. etc. It's all more special because it's made by someone who has a god damn soul.
Plus, the people who use ai art don't have a creative bone in their bodies. They are so bad at making """"content""" it's actually so funny dude.
Let's be for real for a moment, the """"content""" that they make is so boring, bland, generic, lacking of any themes or messaging, and most of it is just porn. R34 is FLOODED with ai slop, and you know the funny part? EVEN GOONERS HAVE STANDARDS AND DON'T LOOK AT IT! HOW FUNNY IS THAT!? They can't even thrive in PORN!! THAT'S SO FUNNY!!!!!! The people who use ai art are just cowards and weaklings who are so fucking lazy that they don't wanna pick up a pencil. They fail to realise that the process of making art has meaning and value in it, not the final result. They are so insecure.
Anyhow, please go make shit, make the most out there art humanely possible. Make some music, write some shit, draw some wild things, make weird films with the action figures you have, do stuff that adds human made art into the world because your creations are WAY MORE special and valuable now.
If you don't want to create art due to any number of reasons, then commission people, for the love of god, commission artists who have their commissions open if you are in the financial position to do so. Interact with art posts and share it around.
Be good everyone, support human made art.

People who WOULD know how to speak, understand and read Kryptonian perfectly:
Kara Zor-El (grew up in Krypton before ending up on earth)
Clark Kal El Kent (was the last survivour for a long time and the only person with access to books, videos and AIs all while having had burning questions since he was a kid - the most I give him is his accent being Weird and him speaking more formally/more like academic robots than other kryptonians)
Christopher Kent (grew up in the phantom zone before being adopted by Clark and Lois and lived in Kandor City for a bit)
People who probably know enough Kryptonian to get around, mostly via exposure and mostly speaking:
John Henry Irons
Natasha Irons
Lois Lane
Jimmy Olsen
People who are probably STILL learning Kryptonian (speaking, reading, etc)
Jon El Kent (canonically didn't grow up knowing his father was superman)
