हिजोको दिन मेरो शिक्षकीय यात्रामा एउटा खास अध्यायको रूपमा रहिरहनेछ। कक्षा आठ ‘G’, जहाँ म स्वयम् कक्षाशिक्षक छु, त्यही कक्षामा मैले विज्ञान विषयअन्तर्गत पहिलो पिरियडमा विद्यार्थीहरूलाई जीवविज्ञानको प्रयोगात्मक अध्ययन गर्न प्रयोगशालाको भ्रमण गराएँ। प्रयोगशालाको वातावरण, तिनको कौतुहलता र उनीहरूको उज्यालो अनुहारहरूले मेरो हृदयमा गहिरो प्रभाव पारेको छ।

प्रयोगका क्रममा, मैले उनीहरूलाई एक छुट्टै अनुभव दिन मोबाइलमार्फत भिडियो बनाउने अनुमति दिएँ। त्यो स्वाभाविक रमाइलोपन, उनीहरूको सामूहिक सहभागिता र विज्ञानप्रतिको उत्साह अद्भुत थियो। त्यही क्रममा केही विद्यार्थीहरू अनुश्री, लगायतकाले मुस्कुराउँदै भने, “हामी सुदिप सरका प्यारा बालिका ....।” ती शब्दहरू केवल लाजालु हाँसो थिएनन्, त्यो एउटा आत्मीय स्वीकारोक्ति थियो — शिक्षक र विद्यार्थीबीचको अदृश्य तर अत्यन्त दृढ भावनात्मक डोरीको एउटा सूचक थियो।

जब म साँझ त्यस भिडियोलाई फेरि हेर्दै थिएँ, त्यो क्षणले मेरो हृदय गहिरोसँग स्पर्श गर्‍यो। कुनै औपचारिकता थिएन, कुनै प्रदर्शन थिएन — केवल शुद्ध प्रेम, स्नेह, र निस्वार्थ सम्बन्धको झल्को थियो। त्यो भिडियो केवल दृश्य थिएन, त्यो मेरो लागि प्रेरणाको स्रोत बन्यो — शिक्षक भए�� आफूले बोकेको जिम्मेवारी र माया कति सार्थक रहेछ भन्ने अनुभूति दिलाउने दस्तावेज बनेको छ।

आज म उनीहरूलाई हृदयदेखि धन्यवाद दिन चाहन्छु — मेरो शिक्षकीय यात्रामा उत्साह थपिदिएकोमा, मलाई अझ बढी समर्पित र आत्मीय बनाइदिएकोमा। उनीहरू मेरा लागि केवल विद्यार्थी होइनन्, मेरो आत्माको हिस्साजस्तै छन्। म वाचा गर्दछु कि आज पनि, भोलि, अनि जहिलेसम्म उनीहरूलाई मेरो आवश्यकता रहन्छ, म आफूले सक्दो जाने जति सिकाउनेछु, साथ र समर्थन दिनेछु। किनकि शिक्षण केवल पाठ्यपुस्तकको सिमाभित्र मात्र सिमित हुँदैन ।

Cost of Starting a School in India

Establishing Schools in India is not everything, it is much more than setting up a building with classrooms, laboratories, and libraries. The entity willing to establish the school needs to get licenses and permissions from relevant authorities. This is a long process which usually takes a couple of years. Under normal circumstances, it takes a year to start the school’s construction after creating the governing body but, it often takes more than a couple of years as well.

School authorities can also get approval from CISCE Board or CBSE Board but in order to get the affiliation, it requires to follow the guidelines laid down by these boards.

If you are planning to start a pre-nursery school then cost will be quite less. For a good structure affiliated school, startup cost estimation is quite huge. Prepare a large amount of money to start a school and it can increase further based on the place of operation, living standard, etc. Setting up a standard school will have its own implications like money spent on arranging furniture, gadgets, electronics, computer, maintenance, and other requirements.

The government has issued a circular making it mandatory for management planning to open private schools to own a minimum of two acres of land in rural areas, one-and-half acres in town municipality and panchayat jurisdictions, and at least one acre in the corporation area.

According to the circular, Rs. 1 lakh is the minimum safe deposit for primary schools, Rs. 2 lakh for Kannada-medium higher primary schools, Rs. 5 lakh for English primary school, Rs. 3 lakh for higher primary school and Rs. 10 lakh for English-medium higher primary school. The deposits should be kept in a joint account of the government and the school management. Registration Fee:

The department has also modified the registration and procession fee for schools. As per the modified rate, Rs. 25,000 is the registration fee for pre-primary schools and Rs. 10,000 is the processing fee. Schools that run classes 1 to 5 will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 25, 000 and processing fee of Rs. 10,000.

Land requirement for CBSE affiliation

When we are planning to set up a school, the first question in our mind is that how much land we will be required to set up a CBSE project.

The land requirement for CBSE varies from city to city and when you go through the CBSE bye laws you will get a long list so we being your consultant let’s make it easy for you to understand the land requirement:

·         Anywhere in India other than hilly area as marked under the byelaws of CBSE ,metropolitan cities and cities with population less than 15 lacs – 1.5 acre / 6000 sq metres (with restrictions of students) or 2 acre/8000 sq metres (with no restrictions of students)

·         Metropolitan or cities with population more than 15 lacs – 1 acre / 4000 sq metres

·         Hilly areas as marked in Byelaws of CBSE (Hilly areas/capital cities/NCR/cities >15 lakh/ Panchkula (Haryana) and Mohali/ North-East/Islands/J &K)– 1 acre/4000 sq metres

Apart from above basic thumb rules we can proceed with more detailed understanding as follows:

              3000 sq mtrs – Senior Secondary Section - 2 Streams

              2000 Sq mtrs – Secondary level

·         Metropolitan cities/entire state of Arunachal Pradesh –

3200   Sq mtrs – Senior Secondary Section - 4 streams

2400 sq mtrs – Senior Secondary Section - 2 Streams

1600 Sq mtrs – Secondary level

We need to keep in mind that the land should be in a single piece of land and no public road, railway line, stream, canal and power lines should cross the piece of land. The plot of land should be surrounded by a single continuous 6 feet height boundary wall on all four sides enclosing the school building and the playground.
