Seoras: Song of the Sea

I finally sat down and watched this movie after buying it months ago, and Seoras is literally the most precious Cinnamon Roll. 

I strongly recommend you watch Eden of the East's Song of the Sea if you haven't already. It's such an gorgeous and underrated movie.You won't regret it. ^^l

Seora held up a blank CD, twirling it around her pointer finger as raindrops plop-plop-plopped on the window. Sighing yet again, Seora glanced at Tsuneo, “Wouldn’t a little music make this better? What song would you like?”

Tsuneo blinks up from the book he was reading quietly, his eyes glinting with eagerness as he jumps to his feet instantly. "Stay right there-"

He runs out of the room and returns a moment later, with a record player and a large box of records. He pulls out a record from the box and shows it to Seora as he speaks. "You need to check out Maki Asakawa. She sings amazing blues. Highly recommend her song 'if you keep on like this'-oh!"

Tsuneo cuts himself off, noticing another record. "Or! Maybe Etta James? I love her song,'The Blues is my business'. It speaks to my soul."

Tsuneo then pulls out two more records, overwhelmingly excited. But Seora did ask about his favorite thing ever. "Ah! Or One Republic's 'Counting Stars'? Maybe 'Let me down slowly' by Alec Benjamin?"

Tsuneo's eyes widen and positively sparkle as he pulls out his phone next. "Don't you speak Italian? Kyo-san just sent this song in the group chat! 'Tenendomi' by 883. Kyo-san's whining that the English teacher is sending him love songs, but I think it sweet."

Tsuneo looks up at Seora then, smiling faintly. It's obvious he will go on for hours if she lets him.

Brows raise a bit when he sees Camhlaidh, and he's glad that he decided against calling out to the king as he entered the room. "By now, you would think that he would have gotten used to telling me when he's this exhausted..."

Not that Shilo hadn't been able to feel it building up again, lately. After taking a bit of time to gather what was being worked on at the desk, and conjuring up a few eels to take them to the king's quarters ahead of them, Shilo gently-- ever so gently-- moved Camhlaidh's chair away from the desk. Gathering blonde hair out of the way so that it wouldn't be tugged when the pirodeti lifted him into his arms.

Hopefully that grouchy, uptight advisor didn't see Shilo carrying the king to his room. He really didn't feel like dealing with whatever drama would come about from that. Right now, he just wanted to make sure that Aur was able to get a good night's sleep.

1) what's your tav's name, class, and race?

Giilvas Quickfoot , Bardbarian ( Wildheart and College of Lore ) , Wood Elf

Zerxes Sarbis , Cleric ( Knowledge Domain ) also pondering a possible multiclass , Mephistopheles Tiefling

Seoras Vrein , Ranger / Druid ( Beast Master / Circle of the Moon ) , Drow Half - Elf

2) which background do they have? how does it play into their story?

Giilvas is a Folk Hero ! He’ s dealt with enough injustices and cruelty growing up , he wants the chance to stop or prevent the cycle for other people . He has a strong mindset of help others before he helps himself , but also is scared of having people rely on him for extended amounts of time . There’ s a lot he has to unpack and unlearn during the game , stemming from this . It also means he has to be careful about who does and doesn’ t know his face .

Zerxes is a Noble ! He knows his family name won’ t carry a lot of weight where he’ s ended up , but still wears his family’ s signet ring in case it may help him later . It’ s not like he’ s on good terms with his family , but he’ ll use whatever influence he can to make things easier for him and the others . Problem is , he is rather disconnected from other people due to a sheltered home life . There’ s a lot of things he has difficultly navigating . And he has to learn how to rather quickly .

Seoras is a Guild Artisan ! A rather well - known face amongst the sellers of textiles in Baldur’s Gate , he knows how to keep people happy and he knows how to haggle . Issue is , he can be seen as rather naïve , really only used to a certain handful of interactions and experiences . He knows how to talk to merchants , and he can see how a deal should work out . But not everyone is a merchant and not everyone is going to uphold their end of a deal . There’ s a lot he has to manage to figure out without his father .

7) typical party lineup?

For the sake of making this a bit easier , I am excluding Halsin , Jaheria and Minsc . Love them dearly but including them would make the lists Longer

Giilvas holds Wyll’ s hand and takes him everywhere , so I cannot separate them . It usually ends up being Wyll + Lae’zel + Karlach . Second most common is Wyll + Gale + Shadowheart . Third is Wyll + Lae’zel + Astarion .

Zerxes has the same thing going on with Gale . Do not separate label and all . His usually ends up being Gale + Shadowheart + Karlach . Second most common is Gale + Wyll + Shadowheart , third is Gale + Lae’zel + Karlach

Seoras ends up being Karlach + Wyll + Astarion , second most common is Astarion + Shadowheart + Lae’zel , third is Astarion + Gale + Karlach
