Faction Conflict

So, I'm sure yall are wondering about how exactly the Solarbots feel about the other factions. They try to stay out of the way, and neutral in most cases, but there iS the occasional conflict. The Navy sees the Solarbots as tree-hugging freaks, propaganda painting them as cultists, similar to The Rattlers. The Solarbots have a pretty solid hold over the more forested parts of the Great Sea Shard, and have kept the Navy away from various resources. The Rattlers and Solarbots have an uneasy alliance, mostly fueled by the fact that they don't come across eachother much. They've come to an agreement that, in a way, their goals are similar, and the Solarbots kinship with nature is appreciated by Morgan. She's technically made of bio-matter, after all. Fun Fact - The Sunbathers were created RIGHT after the end of Heist 1, the solar panels made using the remains of Vectron. They conducted a mass migration, moving to the Sea Shard to be one with nature, and to have an easier time soaking up the sun!

A little bright yellow minicon knocks on the door to Optimus' quarters before entering, hauling with them a large energon cube they could barely carry. They set it down next to Optimus with a cheerful beep. Solarbot had seen how hard he worked and wanted to make sure he took care of himself.

"Oh. Is this for me?"

Optimus looks at the Mini Con, admiring the little one's effort to bring him the large Energon cube. The Prime chuckled softly and picked up the Energon cube with care.

"Thank you little fella! You sure are pretty strong! I appreciate what you did!"

Optimus really got happy by the little one's concern, and after he placed the large Energon cube on his desk, he offered the Mini Con a small cup, full of Energon for them to drink, gently tapping their little shoulder.

"Have a treat for being such a nice fella!"

Instead of recing each individual fic I like by them I'll just give a general rec for more of Dtpixel's fics (person who wrote Stress Relief) (do be wary of the tags on them tho as some of them are darker and deal with heavy topics)

And yes it is similar to that... (ahem) one fic I read... awhile ago... about stress relief... purposes... perhaps.

As of right now I only have one recommendation and that's "Eclipse Meets his Match" by TheInfamousDoctorF

Which Sun adopts Eclipse like a lost puppy and Eclipse has horny aggression down bad.

You know where something is so cute you need to punch it?

That with Eclipse and his libido but five times worse.

Solar also ran away from his home dimension, because in this fic, Solar's Moon merged with his Killcode. His Killcode and Moon became one, and turned feral and violent and he barely escaped with his life. Moon agrees he can live at their place from now on. (idk what'll happen with that.)

Sunlo also appears in it and is a pretty prominent character. (The Sun who is lonely. The dimension without a Moon. Where Moon never existed and he was scrapped in the testing phase)

It's a pretty good fic, Good slowburn tension but it's rated Explicit for a reason, so keep that in mind.

I don't read a lot of DCA fics right now, especially sun and moon show fics so I don't have any higher recommendations then that one at the moment.

As of right now, there's not any plans to currently make it a fic, but I wouldn't rule it out. I'm just keeping it on the back burner for now in posts and sometimes @witchysolfan draws or animates things when the mood strikes them.

Speaking of rosanna I keep meaning to collect all of the third party rosanna's because there aren't that many- but a lot of companies that have made a rewind or eject have just gone ahead and used the mold they'd already made to conk out a few others like rosanna, flip-sides, solarbot, sg rewind,enemy. There's like three of them I believe, KFC, perfect effect and uhhhh.... I don't know but I feel like I distinctly remember coming across a third at some point. I'll have to double check. With the release of mmc's mtmte rewind tho I suspect they will probably do an eject and a rosanna in that mold at some point. They did a howlback and a Glit/sg ravage out of jaguar, I don't see why they wouldn't.

Beamer - Basic Solarbot enemy, shoots a beam of light that can pierce through one piece of cover. Typically a Sniper. Ent - Brutish Solarbot covered in Wooden armor. Susceptible to Burning, uses a log club as a weapon. Typically a Brawler. Florist - Weak Solarbot that uses a flimsy pistol, heals her fellow Solarbots with Aura. Typically an Engineer. Sundancer - Flimsy Solarbot that doesn't attack, instead follows groups of other Solarbots, casting "Edicts" upon their allies. Solar-Flare Beamer - Elite version of the Beamer, increased damage, burns cover and crewmates. Solar-Flare Ent - Elite version of the Ent, increased HP, charges forward, similar to the Shieldmaiden. Solar-Flare Florist - Elite version of the Florist, increased Aura, plants healing flowers on tiles she ends her turn on. Solar-Flare Sundancer - Elite version of the Sundancer, increased Movement, now uses a Brawler sidearm. Has a bubble shield that absorbs the first point of damage taken. If you have any ideas, please post em using the #solarbots tag! I love you see what you guys come up with, and do kinda need help coming up with a proper Solarbot gimmick. Also, if you're wondering about the lore reason for why these guys are enemies, a strange spore is latching onto the Solarbot people, likely brought upon them by strange energy from the ocean depths. These spores corrupt their minds, but seem to fuel a flame that was ignited long, long ago..
