#The 7D grumpy

Did a little redesign of the 7D, since I was feeling nostalgic! I enjoy their OG designs but I wanted to see what they'd look like using my personal guidelines when character designing, hehee >:] I could probably add my designing thoughts in a reblog, but I feel like most of these are Pretty straightforward. The only reason why Sneezy looks the most different is because I gave him lots of purple and a completely different outfit, which aren't present in his og design at all.

After WEEK I finally finished my redesigns for the 7D 🥹 This started off as something small that I ended up getting carried away with, but I’m finally finished! I hope you guys like ‘em 🫶 Here's a little higher quality version of them under the cut

Happy anniversary to this adorable show! I wanted to draw something with all the dwarves. Since this whole month counts as the anniversary, I'll get to drawing and post it at some point this month like what I planned on doing for today.

Finally finished my drawings to celebrate the 11th anniversary of The 7D!

Aaaand, I drew The 7D with their own Pokémon teams! I know that years ago (when The 7D was in its prime, at least in regards to the people who were fans of the show) someone did make a Pokémon AU, where The 7D were gym leaders. This is different, and is just me giving them teams as if they were trainers.

And without further ado, let's see these teams! Note that some of them are poorly drawn (my art skills are lacking), but this was for fun! Also no colors because that would've taken a LOT more time.

I have a 7D headcanon regarding one of my favorite episodes: Once in a Purple Moon

Its a little kooky but it provides backstory as to why the 7D have their own unique forms depending on the color of the moon

I havent watched the 7D in eons so forgive me if I have forgotten details!

So from what I know, the 7D somehow have a really big correlation to the colors of the rainbow, as shown below

And I thought that this would be a big reason as to why the colored moon would affect them

My hc is this: The 7D's grandfathers were all given a curse after the battle against Grim's ancestor, in which that when each of the 7D are born, they would be born when the moon would turn a certain color, and that they would briefly become the opposite of what they are destined to be to cause ultimate chaos

Now how I would tie this in with the colors presented is still not fully developed as Id have to make up how these colors, and the moons colors, would line up or oppose each other sooo yeaf

This would also explain their forms and how theyre the opposite of themselves

Happy - From joyous and optimistic to a ferocious werewolf built on ravaging anything in his path

Grumpy - From grumpy and annoyed to a manic salesman that cares and values his potential customers

Doc - From being the brains of the group to being goofy, dumb, and unserious

Sleepy - From taking long naps and dozing off to a hyperactive, coffee-addicted dwarf

Bashful - From being shy and meek to becoming a brute capable of destroying even the smallest things

Dopey - From being silly and caring for animals to becoming an animal and running on instinct

Sneezy - From sneezing up storms to becoming the very rag(doll) used to clean his nose up

And ofc the biggest thing is that they all experienced their colored moons atleast once during their lives prior to Once in a Purple Moon, which is why they are so knowledgable on what happens and their parents probably helping them get ready for their moons

Anyways uh its midnight I hope this feeds the community bc I lov this show sO MUCH WEE
