#Time for Maintenance (OOC)

Gods I fucking HATE going into the Heart Pirates tag and constantly seeing people post about how Law's crew "isn't there for fighting" and is just there for "emotional support." I don't even care if it's supposed to be a "joke" because frankly, I'm sick of seeing this shit. So I'm going to clear something up:

No crew, regardless of how strong their captain is, makes it to the New World if they aren't strong fighters.

Like, they don't just sit around on the ship and let Law do the hard work all the time. There is canon proof they can hold their own. They fought alongside the Mink Tribe when the Beast Pirates attacked Zou. They fought the Beast Pirates during the Raid on Onigashima. We saw they employ clever underwater tactics and hold their own against the like of fucking BLACKBEARD. You know, the guy who's one of the major villains of the whole series? Losing to him doesn't fucking make them weak. They lost because the guy is designed to be basically unbeatable by anyone but the main heroes.

Honestly. We've seen the Heart Pirates fight about as much as the Kid Pirates, and I don't see people claiming Kid's crew are "weak" and "just there for emotional support." Both these crews are strong and willing to fight, kill, and die for the sake of their captains.

I'm all for making a joke. I can genuinely laugh at the silly posts and memes. But when 90% of the posts about them are like this, it's clear people aren't telling a joke - they see them as a joke. Because it seems like nobody talks about them as a legit pirate crew to a powerful pirate captain. Characters can be powerful and badass AND strike goofy poses and be affectionate to their captain. It's what makes them interesting. The fandom really needs to realize that.

margot's the type to start doing oddly domestic, yet still intimate, things after she's done w fucking. first thing that comes to mind is smthn like grabbing a pair of tweezers and plucking their eyebrows bc 'you really walk around w them looking like this?' not out of the kindness of her heart, but bc she likes having control over people - however subtle the way she does it is. n practically sitting on someones stomach, looming over them while they lay beneath her, to do smthn incredibly close to their eyes?? having power, if only fleeting, over their appearance? even if it isn't something obvious, she's still left some mark of herself on them.

PLUS she enjoys watching people flinch when she does it a little too harshly, or tugs out a few too many hairs at the same time. a sadist to her core

HOW DO YOU GET THE STRAW HAT BADGE???

Ok, I'll give a step-by-step tutorial to hopefully help you because it took me a hot minute to figure it out with Tumblr's new layout.

1. While on desktop, go to TumblrMart (it's on the left side of the dash, just beneath Settings) and click on that.

2. You can either go to Badges or just stick with All because it's thankfully right there. Click the "Claim it here" button. It's free and thankfully can be added to sideblogs. When you do this, you'll be taken to this window where you click the "Claim this badge for free" button.

3. This will take you to the Edits page of your blog and you'll automatically be able to add it there. You can apparently collect multiple of the straw hat badges to add to your blog (I've heard up to 50), and they can be distributed to sideblogs too!

4. Hit save and you're good to go! If you get lost like I did the first time around, just go to your Edit Appearance page for your blog. There will be a little button under your icon that says Add Badges if you don't have any. You should be good to go!

HEY. SINCE I HAVE GOTTEN A BUNCH NEW FOLLOWERS and I feel a little behind, and kind of want a refresh.

I will be dropping a bunch of things, but we can start fresh and i'll reblog a meme, or post a plotted starter call. so pleasse know i wanna write with you, we were already writing together so i wanna keep writing.
