#Toxic Lab

I have both a new idea and an old idea.

Some of my followers may remember a comic I made way back called "Toxic Lab". A good handful of people really liked it, but for whatever reason I lost my passion for it. I don't know, it just never felt quite right. Recently though, I had the idea to remake it! Start again, from the top! This time, I could make it into an actual Webtoon comic, like my "Sweet Yandere Boy" series! As so, the redesign began!

First things first, Dr. Spiral needed a make-over! As much as it pains me to do this, I can't stick with the old bunny design. It IS very cute, but he DID look exactly like a shiny Spinda. If this becomes a big thing, I do NOT want to get in trouble with the copyright police!!!

But fear not! I kept a lot of elements from his old bunny design! I gave him a cute headband with bunny ears! Fun Fact: "Lapin" is another term for rabbit! He's gotta have the spiraled eyes, that's his namesake! They're much easier to draw now that they're actually eyes. You have NO idea how hard it was to make those pure spirals!!! Of course, I kept his original color palette, the soft yellows and greens, so he's still recognizably Dr. Spiral. He's my green boy!

I think the most drastic change will be his personality. He's kind of a mashup of the OG Dr. Spiral and Gacha (his assistant in the original story) Don't worry, he still has his love of science, just a bit more serious. I want to lean more into the "crazy doctor" side of his personality, which I never really got to in the original comic.

Aaaand that's about it! I know many people liked his old look, (I do too, so I'll probably reference it at some point) but I hope you guys enjoy this new design. I feel like he has more of an identity now, instead of just being my shiny Spinda look-a-like.

Band AU Soyona x Brooklynn

I’m literally so obsessed with this ship guys

In this universe Soyona sees the band playing and finds interest in Brooklynn, so she tries to recruit her to her record label. Brooklynn dismisses this at first, since she doesn’t want to get signed without her friends, but she still keeps Soyona’s card (girl me too). Soyona continues to show up to the band’s gigs every now and then, and Brooklynn gets more conflicted about the decision she’s keeping from her bandmates.

The more I look and analyse Burned Bridges the more I realise it’s like. A really fascinating car crash. A flaming disaster. Y’know. But you also can’t look away from it cause there’s so much you can unpack from it and it makes it so so fascinating.

The two are similar in a way where they’re both very resilient to change. Y’know. Cold barely changes at all in all of the routes while Smitten is usually blind in his own beliefs, and is steadfast in his loyalty towards the Princess. Ideally they would be paired up with another character who is less resilient to change that would make the dynamic a bit more balanced, y’know. Like Cold with Contrarian and Stubborn with Smitten or something.

Not saying that they can’t change at all, just saying that they are like. Really really resistant towards it. They would need like a gigantic push for them to get out of their comfort zone. Which is why I think they should have like. A couple of mental breakdowns. As a treat :)) (joking joking)

nothing is funnier than talking about dnp to my non-phannie partner. today i was talking shit about dnp and the traumatic no-but-seriously-imagine-it video and they just went “do dan and phil like… know how you guys feel about them?” like how do i explain that yes, they do, and that’s why they torture us. dnp and phannies are a symbiotic love-hate relationship, trapped in a 15 year long cycle of trying to out-psychic-damage each other. we made their lives hell for 9 years and they’ve spent the last 6 getting their revenge and everyone is suffering but happy about it. all of us are mentally ill and a bit deranged and a danger to society and only when dnp and every single phannie is dead will the internet be free of our crimes. they love us and we love them and we are all slowly killing each other what part of that doesn’t sound appealing to you???
