One way to track the program is by checking employment numbers. One financial whiz cited by the Wall Street Journal calculated a decline in the immigrant population of 773,000 in the first four months of Trump II. The Washington Post claims “a million foreign-born workers have exited the workforce since March.” The Post frames this as “a sign of the weakening labor supply.” Yet the paper also notes, “Average hourly wages accelerated, rising by 0.4 percent over the month, to $36.24 in May, as earnings continue to beat inflation in a boost to workers’ spending power.” In other words, with fewer illegal immigrants, businesses have had to raise wages to attract workers.
...
In the 1950s, when the Eisenhower administration launched its mass deportation program, it was estimated that for every illegal immigrant rounded up and deported, 10 left voluntarily, and they weren't getting a grand in U.S. dollars just for getting out. This self-deportation program may be one of the smartest things the second Trump administration has come up with.
This is specifically for the people who are upset by the pace of Trump's deportation efforts and seem to blame him and not the Democrats who are doing everything they can to stop him. He's been in office for 5 months and we're already seeing record low border crossings and over a million deportations, self-deportations and ICE deportations combined. We're probably not going to get rid of all illegal immigrants, but we will get many, possibly even most. Stop expecting perfection and refusing to accept anything less.

The Department of Homeland Security is soliciting help from the U.S. private sector to run face recognition scans against drivers and passengers approaching the southern border, according to an agency document reviewed by The Intercept.
Despite the mixed track record and ongoing deficiencies of face recognition technology, DHS is hoping to devise a means of capturing the likenesses of travelers while vehicles are still in motion.
According to a “Request for Information” document distributed by the DHS Science and Technology Directorate, the government is looking for private sector assistance to run face recognition on drivers on passengers en route to the border before they even reach a checkpoint. “[DHS] Tech Scouting is seeking information on technology solutions that can capture biometric data (e.g., facial recognition) of occupants present in vehicles at speed as they approach land border checkpoints,” the document states. “Solutions of interest would have the ability to biometrically scan occupants without requiring them to exit the vehicle and provide checkpoint agents with information to determine if the occupants are a threat and if they may enter the United States.
The document does not elaborate on how such a system would be used to determine whether people in a car constitute a threat to the United States, though prior in-car face recognition pilot programs have checked if drivers had been previously arrested. Vendors that brief DHS on their offerings may be invited to participate in further testing, the document notes.

US to Charge $250 Visa Fee for Tourists, Students from 2026 – Impact on Indian Travelers | New India Abroad
Tumblr media
Indian nationals traveling to the United States for tourism, education, or temporary work will soon face significantly higher visa costs. Beginning in 2026, a new $250 “Visa Integrity Fee” will be imposed on most non-immigrant visa categories under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (H.R. 1), recently signed into law by U.S. President Donald Trump on July 4.
This surcharge will apply to B-1/B-2 tourist and business visas, F and M student visas, H-1B work visas, and J-1 exchange visas, among others. Only diplomatic visa holders under categories A and G will be exempt.
Tumblr media
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will collect the fee at the time of visa issuance. Framed as a refundable security deposit, it will only be reimbursed if travelers fully comply with all visa conditions—such as leaving the U.S. within five days of visa expiration or adjusting their status legally—and submit the necessary proof.
The new $250 charge comes on top of the existing $185 Machine-Readable Visa (MRV) application fee, plus an additional $24 I-94 fee for entry/exit tracking. Indian travelers using ESTA or EVUS will also incur further charges of $13 and $30 respectively. Altogether, Indian applicants could now spend around $480 for a U.S. visa—nearly double current costs.
This fee is part of a sweeping immigration reform effort. The One Big Beautiful Bill allocates $150 billion through 2029 to bolster U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), expand detention facilities, speed up deportations, and restrict asylum access. These initiatives will be funded in part by higher visa fees and a new 1% remittance tax.
New India Abroad notes growing concern among students, tech workers, and travel businesses, warning that rising costs may deter Indian talent from choosing the U.S.

ICE Is Searching a Massive Insurance and Medical Bill Database to Find Deportation Targets
from the article:
Agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have gained access to a massive database of health and car insurance claims and are using it to track down people they want to deport, according to internal ICE material viewed by 404 Media. The database, which contains details on more than 1.8 billion insurance claims and 58 million medical bills and growing, includes peoples’ names, addresses, telephone and tax identification numbers, license plates, and other sensitive personal information.
The news shows how ICE continues to try to leverage whatever data it is able to access or purchase as part of its deportation mission. The news also highlights the existence of the database, called ISO ClaimSearch, that many members of the public have likely never heard of, nor understand they may be included in. Traditionally ISO ClaimSearch is used by insurers to identify people committing fraud or police to recover stolen vehicles. Now, that database is being repurposed as a deportation tool.
“ICE ERO use of this data reaffirms that ICE will stop at nothing to build a mass surveillance dragnet to track, surveil and criminalize all community members. Time and time again, ICE has shown us that it intends to build a mass surveillance system that nets all Americans. It is not about combatting crime, this is about the federal government having surveillance power and control over all Americans,” Julie Mao, co-founder and deputy director of Just Futures Law, told 404 Media in an email.
[...]
Broadly the tool is “used for fraud prevention and detection,” Igor Ostrovskiy, a private investigator with Ostro Intelligence, told 404 Media. “ISO is a very important tool within the insurance world,” one insurance company said in an industry podcast uploaded to YouTube last year.
That data is now being leveraged to find ICE’s targets, according to the internal agency material.
“This is another, shocking example of mass data collection ostensibly collected for one purpose misconstrued and misappropriated for a far more nefarious purpose—to conduct mass surveillance and criminalize community members,” Mao added.
[...]
Last month 404 Media revealed ICE was using a new facial recognition app to identify people in the field. That tool, called Mobile Fortify, uses the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) system which ordinarily takes photos of people as they enter or exit the U.S.
404 Media was also first to reveal that Palantir had entered a contract with ICE for “complete target analysis of known populations.” Leaked Palantir material then described Palantir as a “more mature partner to ICE.”
Included in last week’s budget bill is around $150 billion for immigration enforcement and border security. That includes $6 billion for border technology and surveillance.
Stephen Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff, and Kristi Noem, the head of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), recently gave ICE a quota of 3,000 arrests a day. After the increase in funding last week, border czar Tom Homan floated that the agency needs to arrest 7,000 a day.

S-Corporation: A Smart Tax Strategy for Growing Businesses | Powered by Bizsimpl Global
Tumblr media
As the startup landscape evolves and more entrepreneurs go global, choosing the right U.S. business structure becomes a critical part of long-term success. One of the most tax-efficient and founder-friendly business models available in the United States is the S-Corporation. For startups seeking the ideal balance of protection, tax optimization, and operational efficiency, this structure can be a game-changer.
At Bizsimpl Global, we help founders worldwide establish U.S.-based S-Corporations seamlessly, even if they’re managing remote teams or operating from overseas. Our global entity formation platform simplifies complex legal, tax, and compliance processes—so founders can stay focused on scaling their companies.
Why the S-Corporation Still Matters in 2025
In a business environment driven by lean operations and remote growth, S-Corporation status remains one of the most popular structures for small to mid-sized businesses in the U.S.
So why are thousands of startups still choosing this model?
Founder control and flexibility
Tax pass-through without double taxation
Increased legitimacy when applying for funding or credit
Reduced self-employment tax for active owners
Attractive exit options with share transferability
Even in a tech-driven world of DAOs, digital LLCs, and cross-border structuring, the S-Corporation continues to offer a practical, IRS-backed way to grow a compliant and credible business.
Global Founders: Can You Use an S-Corporation?
This is one of the most frequently asked questions we receive at Bizsimpl Global.
The reality:
While non-U.S. citizens or residents cannot be shareholders in an S-Corporation, there are legal pathways to work around this:
Partnering with a U.S.-based founder
Creating a U.S.-resident trust to hold shares
Converting to a C-Corporation later as the startup scales
Bizsimpl Global advises international founders on structural alternatives and compliance-friendly workarounds. If an S election isn’t possible today, we help you prepare a pathway toward it as your team grows and your residency status evolves.
5 Scenarios Where Choosing an S-Corporation Is Ideal
1. You’re running a profitable service-based business
Consultants, digital marketers, and tech freelancers often choose this model to reduce their self-employment tax burden.
2. You plan to pay yourself a reasonable salary
The IRS requires owner-employees of an S-Corp to pay themselves a “reasonable” salary. This opens up tax efficiency by splitting income into salary + distribution.
3. You don’t need venture capital (yet)
Unlike C-Corps, S-Corps cannot issue multiple stock classes or have institutional investors. If you're bootstrapping or working with a tight-knit investor group, it's perfect.
4. You want a straightforward exit
Selling an S-Corp can be simpler than selling an LLC, especially for asset sales or shareholder buyouts.
5. You want a structured governance system
Unlike LLCs, S-Corps require corporate formalities like board meetings and shareholder minutes—ideal for founders who want a traditional setup.
Common Mistakes to Avoid with an S-Corporation
Many new founders make avoidable errors during or after forming an S-Corporation. Here are some of the key mistakes Bizsimpl Global helps you steer clear of:
❌ Filing Form 2553 late
You must file this form within 75 days of forming your corporation or by March 15 for existing companies. We track all filing deadlines on your behalf.
❌ Issuing multiple stock classes
An S-Corporation can only have one class of stock. Accidentally issuing preferred shares can void your S-Corp status.
❌ Mixing personal and business finances
This jeopardizes your liability protection. Bizsimpl Global helps you set up compliant U.S. bank accounts and recordkeeping systems.
❌ Ignoring payroll compliance
Even if you’re the only employee, the IRS expects payroll taxes and proper documentation. Our platform integrates with trusted payroll partners to automate this.
❌ Expanding shareholder count beyond 100
If you exceed this limit, the IRS may automatically convert your S-Corp to a C-Corp. We help you monitor cap tables to ensure compliance.
Bizsimpl Global: Your Formation Partner for S-Corporations
At Bizsimpl Global, we understand that startup founders don’t have the time—or legal background—to manage every compliance detail themselves. That’s why we’ve created a platform specifically designed to help S-Corporation founders form, grow, and stay compliant.
Our Formation Services Include:
✅ Name search and incorporation ✅ EIN/Tax ID application ✅ IRS Form 2553 filing ✅ Registered agent service across all U.S. states ✅ Annual report filing & reminders ✅ Access to legal & tax advisors
Whether you’re based in New York, Dubai, or Bangalore, you can launch your S-Corp in the U.S. without ever setting foot in the country.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q1. Can a foreigner own an S-Corporation?
Only U.S. citizens or residents can be shareholders. However, Bizsimpl Global offers alternate structures for foreign founders.
Q2. What taxes does an S-Corp pay?
The company itself pays no federal income tax. Shareholders report income on their personal tax returns.
Q3. How is owner compensation determined?
Shareholder-employees must receive a “reasonable salary,” as determined by industry standards. Bizsimpl Global can help assess and set that amount.
Q4. What if I want to raise funding later?
You can convert to a C-Corp later if needed. Our platform supports entity restructuring and Delaware flips when you're ready to scale.
Final Thoughts
If you're a founder looking for a lean, tax-smart structure that still offers credibility and growth potential, the S-Corporation is worth strong consideration. It's flexible enough for solopreneurs and powerful enough for growing service businesses with U.S. teams.
With Bizsimpl Global by your side, the entire formation journey becomes simpler, faster, and globally accessible. From paperwork to compliance to support, we’ve got your back.

USA Passport Application: Can I Add My Passport to Google Wallet And Use It For Travel?
USA Passport Application: In this guide, we examine whether incorporating your U.S. passport into digital platforms like Google Wallet is feasible for travel purposes in 2025. As travel processes become increasingly digital, U.S. citizens are questioning whether their passport can join the growing list of digital travel essentials like boarding passes, identification cards, and credit cards within tools such as Google Wallet.
Looking for a hassle-free way to complete your Passport Renewal? Whether you are planning international travel or need to update your documents, our expert guide on the USA Passport Application Online process makes it easy. Learn how to apply US Passport online or by mail with step-by-step instructions. How can I Renew My Passport quickly? We have you covered with the latest tips and requirements.
Here's what travelers need to understand about using a USA Passport Application in digital form, how it’s being developed internationally, and whether it can truly serve as a substitute for a physical passport when traveling abroad.
Can I add my passport to Google Wallet?
A digital replica of your U.S. passport can be stored in Google Wallet, but its functionality is limited strictly to use as an identification tool for TSA verification, it is not accepted as a formal replacement for your physical document during international travel. Although global pilots and official standards are exploring Digital Travel Credentials, there are no systems currently available in the U.S. that allow the USA Passport Application to integrate with Google Wallet or Apple Wallet in a legally recognized manner.
While it is possible to keep digital copies of your passport using airline or travel-related apps that support document storage, these digital copies do not fulfill the legal requirements for crossing borders. U.S. travelers must still use their physical document issued after they apply USA Passport or complete a Passport Renewal.
Need a USA Passport? Whether you are planning your first trip abroad or need to update your passport, we make it easy to apply USA Passport online. From Renew Passport services to Replace Lost Passport assistance, our platform offers a quick and secure way to apply for Passport. Start your US Passport Application Online today and travel with confidence.
USA Passport Application: Are there any countries where digital passports are accepted?
Select nations such as Finland, the Netherlands, and Australia are leading the charge by implementing trial programs for Digital Travel Credentials. These initiatives permit their citizens to use digital identification at specific airports or checkpoints under controlled conditions. However, these are experimental, limited in coverage, and often require participation through designated airlines or government-issued apps.
As of 2025, no country formally accepts a digital version of the USA Passport Application via Google Wallet for immigration purposes or foreign entry. The need to present a physical passport remains universal, regardless of any digital enhancements or test programs underway.
Can I use a digital passport or ID in place of a physical one?
No, not at this time. Even in regions testing DTCs, physical passports are mandatory. A digital identity might facilitate processing at self-service kiosks or fast-track security lanes, but it is not a lawful replacement. For all international travel, U.S. citizens must carry the official passport book received through the USA Passport Application process.
Whether you apply USA Passport or go through a Passport Renewal, your government-issued booklet is the only valid proof for entering and exiting countries. Digital convenience does not override legal travel requirements in 2025.
Are there digital ID options that work in Google Wallet? Yes. Some U.S. states, such as Arizona, Maryland, and Colorado, now permit residents to store their driver’s license or state-issued ID card in Google Wallet or Apple Wallet. These credentials are currently accepted at selected TSA checkpoints at certain domestic airports.
Get your USA Passport Application processed quickly and securely. Whether you are applying for the first time or need to replace stolen passport, we make it simple. Learn all about US Passport Requirements and get systematic guidance for your Travel State Passport needs. Use our trusted platform for a fast and efficient Online Passport Application USA. Start your American Passport Application Online today and be travel-ready in no time.
However, this convenience is limited to domestic travel only. It does not support international travel or replace the documentation acquired when you apply USA Passport Application, Renew My Passport, or Replace Lost Passport.
What is the benefit of storing a copy of my passport digitally?
Although a digital copy of your passport does not qualify for border crossings, it offers practical advantages in certain emergencies:
It is advisable to store these digital copies in a secure, encrypted folder or within a password-protected app using two-factor authentication to prevent unauthorized access.
USA Passport Application: Final Thoughts
The travel industry is undergoing rapid digital transformation, and the idea of a fully functional digital passport may become a reality in the future. However, for now, a traditional passport book remains essential for global movement.
If you are preparing to travel abroad, need to apply USA Passport, renew My Passport, or replace Stolen Passport. Our experts are here to support you. With extensive experience and a trusted process, we offer a complete guide to filling out the USA passport application and removing unrelated content passport application. What’s the Difference Between a Visa and a Passport?
When it comes to international travel, two of the most important documents you’ll hear about are passports and visas. While they both play a crucial role in allowing you to move across borders, they serve very different purposes.
Let’s break down the difference between the two and why both are important for travel.
1. What is a Passport?
Think of your passport as your global identification card. It’s an official document that certifies your identity and citizenship, issued by your home country’s government. A passport is required to travel internationally, and it will serve as your proof of nationality when you cross borders.
Inside the passport, you'll find important details like your full name, date of birth, nationality, photo, and signature. Passports also contain a unique number to track your identity. When you travel abroad, your passport is stamped (or scanned digitally) at the border to show you've entered or exited a country.
Why Do You Need a Passport?
It proves your identity and citizenship.
It allows you to enter and exit foreign countries.
It’s the document you need to board international flights.
2. What is a Visa?
A visa, on the other hand, is a document that grants you permission to enter, stay, or transit through a foreign country for a specified period of time. It’s typically issued by the embassy or consulate of the country you plan to visit, and it’s affixed to your passport (or issued as an e-visa in some cases).
Visas are usually required for long-term stays or when you’re traveling to countries that want to regulate or monitor foreign visitors. Depending on the type of visa, you may be given permission for a short visit (tourist visa), work (work visa), study (student visa), or even for medical reasons.
Why Do You Need a Visa?
It grants you permission to enter a country under specific conditions.
It specifies the duration and purpose of your stay.
It’s sometimes required for short visits (e.g., tourism) or specific activities (e.g., work or study).
Key Differences Between a Visa and a Passport:
Feature Passport VisaPurpose To identify your citizenship and nationalityTo grant permission to enter and stay in a foreign country
Issued By Your home country’s governmentThe government of the country you wish to visit
Duration Valid for many years, depending on your countryTime-limited, based on your stay’s purpose (tourism, work, etc.)
Location A physical booklet or card you carry with youA sticker or stamp in your passport or an electronic document
Required For International travelEntry into certain countries (may not be required for all destinations)
Do You Need Both a Passport and a Visa?
In most cases, yes. A passport is mandatory for international travel, while a visa is required depending on the country you're visiting and the purpose of your trip. Some countries allow visitors to enter without a visa, offering visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to certain nationalities. However, others require you to apply for a visa before you even board a flight.
For example, if you're a U.S. citizen traveling to Canada for a short trip, you don’t need a visa. But if you’re heading to India, you’ll need a visa to enter.
In Summary:
Passport: Your passport is your key to international travel. It serves as proof of your identity and nationality. Without it, you can't travel abroad.
Visa: A visa is a permission slip from the country you're visiting, allowing you to enter for a specific reason (work, study, tourism, etc.) for a set duration.
While they’re different, they work together to ensure your international travel is both legal and safe. Before you book your next international trip, be sure to check the visa requirements of your destination country and make sure your passport is up to date. Safe travels!

Brazil’s Central Bank considers FX license, IOF tax for crypto firms
Primary target for measure would be stablecoins, digital tokens pegged to traditional currencies like the U.S. dollar
Tumblr media
Brazil’s Central Bank policymakers have recently engaged in discussions with cryptocurrency sector representatives to gauge the feasibility of requiring a foreign exchange license for some companies in the industry. The idea is that, when the final version of the regulation for the segment is released—which is expected to happen in 2025—some companies would apply for a standard Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license, while others would need registration to operate with FX transactions.
The Central Bank’s primary target for this measure would be stablecoins, digital tokens pegged to traditional currencies like the U.S. dollar, which are not only used as a store of value, for speculation, or as an inflation hedge but also as a means for remittances and cross-border payments. The license differentiation would apply since some companies in the sector, such as tokenizers, do not conduct such international transfers and instead focus on registering domestic assets on the blockchain that already exist within the financial system. The FX license would only be required for those facilitating cross-border money transfers.
Authorities are concerned about the regulatory and tax arbitrage opportunities that stablecoins enable, as buying U.S. dollars or other currencies in the traditional market requires paying fees, like the Financial Transactions Tax (IOF) with a rate of 1.1%. Since stablecoins are still viewed as financial assets similar to bitcoin, they are not treated as currencies for tax purposes, so no IOF is applied when purchasing stablecoins like USDT and USDC, even though both are digital representations of the U.S. dollar and hold a constant value of $1 per unit. According to the Federal Revenue Service, transactions involving these two stablecoins totaled R$17.5 billion in August, three times the volume of bitcoin.
Another issue closely monitored by the Central Bank is the impact of stablecoins—and cryptocurrencies in general—on the Brazil’s capital account, given the significant outflow of dollars. “The key agenda is to maintain visibility over currency control, tracking the money that exits Brazil for foreign destinations. This is central to the Central Bank, alongside related controls like anti-money laundering and anti-tax evasion measures,” said Nicole Dyskant, legal counsel to blockchain infrastructure provider Fireblocks.

Americans who want to travel to Europe will have to register online to enter the continent starting in 2025.
U.S. travelers will need prior authorization for travel to European Union countries beginning in spring 2025, EU officials said Friday. The new requirements for travel will also mean that U.S. travelers arriving in Europe will no longer get passport stamps. Instead, their faces and fingerprints will be scanned and logged in a new digital registration system beginning next fall.
The changes, which have been delayed numerous times, are part of a global movement toward biometric screening at border crossings. Travelers won’t need to apply for advance permission to visit until well after the surge of international visitors taking in the Paris Olympics next July and August.
The European Travel Information and Authorisation System, or Etias, will apply to Americans and others whom the EU allows to travel without visas. The authorization is meant for trips of up to 90 days, meaning short vacations are included. Once the changes take hold, the EU recommends that travelers submit their information to the Etias website before booking flights or lodging. Some other European countries that aren’t EU-member states, including Switzerland and Norway, will also require the authorization. Most applications will be processed in minutes, but others could take up to 30 days if an interview is required.
You will still need to bring your passport when the new entry/exit system that collects fingerprints and face scans goes into effect. Travelers will still have to scan their passports at electronic gates. The arrival and departure information will be stored in an electronic database, along with other personal information about the traveler. Travelers won’t be able to opt out of the biometric screening. Cyprus and Ireland will continue to stamp passports manually.
The changes should result in shorter waits at entry points and a more efficient process, officials say. The EU says the system will allow it to better track people who overstay—and that it will strengthen security by giving law enforcement digital access to travel records.
Electronic-privacy advocates warn that travelers will give up privacy, in addition to passport stamps. Face and fingerprint data will be stored in databases maintained by other governments, which digital-privacy organizations say could ultimately lead to increased surveillance.
The new target launch dates of fall 2024 and spring 2025 offer some flexibility for the 27-member states to prepare the technology and train appropriate staff, an EU official said.
Americans may have already encountered facial comparison technology in domestic and foreign travels.
They can use electronic gates at the Cancún International Airport in Mexico and at international airports in the United Kingdom. Singapore’s Changi Airport said in September it would launch an automated clearance system.
Many airlines now use face-scanning systems that have replaced tickets for boarding flights.

Chapter 3
Tumblr media
A caravan of black SUV’s rushed to the Mexican border, it was unclear to both Kate and Alexis who they were going to retrieve but they knew it was dangerous. Kate was in SUV with Matt, while Alexis was in the SUV with Steve and Alejandro.
“I haven’t seen you in so long Alexis,” says Steve.
Alexis says nothing only looking out window.
“You changed your number?” asks Steve.
“Yes,” She answers simply.
“No wonder you weren’t answering my calls, I wanted to apologize about the whole kiss situation,” says Steve.
“Are you sure this is the time to talk about this?” asks Alexis uncomfortably.
“It’s the only time I have away from Matt, you didn’t tell him right?” asks Steve.
“Nah, I don’t need Matt fighting my battles. Since you want to talk about this now, I should apologize for kicking you in the balls for kissing me,” says Alexis.
Steve turns to the front of the road embarrassed at what the woman had just said. Alejandro gave a hidden smirk at the revelation; no wonder Steve had been eyeing the girl up and down since she walked off that plane/ jet.
One at the border the caravan passed through without any questions and they rushed through the busy streets of Juarez. The street was winding and confusing to those who have never driven on them, they passed colorful houses and businesses.
“Who are we here for?” Alexis finally asks.
“Guillermo Diaz,” says Alejandro simple.
Alexis gets a bit anxious at the idea of encountering one the Diaz again.
“Nothing will happen to you, they try to touch one hair on you head, we’ll be in the border before they get the chance,” comforts Alejandro.
Alexis looks over at the man but say nothing. The sirens of the Federales were loudly crying as they lead the caravan through the streets of Juarez. Headless bodies were hanging from a over bridge. The caravan continued but stopped in the middle of some building where the posters of Juarez missing women were posted on the buildings.
Alexis glanced over the surrounding building knowing that the cartels had snipers and they could be over head and shooting at any moment, but she found none.
“No snipers,” she informs Steve, who informed the other SUV’s.
“We are going to take another route,” informs Matt.
In the other route they reached their destination. The two Texas rangers entered with some soldiers and Matt next to them. After only a couple of minutes they exited the building with a man tied with a sack over his head. Alexis knew who this man was, Alejandro told her who they were there for.
The caravan rushed back to the border but was stopped in a traffic jam.
Alexis took out her service weapon and had it ready for any emergency. See glance over to her left and saw a red impala with suspicious individuals. She nudges Alejandro who looks over to the left as well and he spot the vehicle.
“Red impala, two lanes over on my ten,” informs Alejandro.
Steve informs the other SUVs about the car.
“Three lanes left, seven o’clock green civic,” says one of the men over the radio. Alejandro glances over Alexis shoulder to look at the car and he gets his riffle ready. Alexis lowers her window down, and Alejandro looks through the scope and see a gun in the green civic.
“Don’t get out of the car unless they do,” says Matt.
Alexis unties her seatbelt. One of the men from the red impala open the door causing all to leave the car with their guns ready. Alexis gets out through car gun at the ready.
“Baja el arma!” she yells. (lower your weapon).
The men ignore her and point their guns at the soldiers. One is about to shoot at Alexis when Alejandro arrives and tries to stop the men from shooting.
“Compas compas, suelta la pistola. ¿Pregunta paisanos quieren murir?” asks Alejandro. (Guys guys, let go of the gun, do you want to die?)
The men in the red car do not retaliate, and they are shot in a blink of an eye. The men in the green car go to get out of the car, but they are also gunned down.
After that all the men and Alexis enter their vehicles which are now in the clear. They rush out of there as quickly as they arrived.
Once they were back in the base Alejandro and Alexis go out of the car and walked towards the building.
“Alexis hold on a minute!” calls out Kate.
Alexis stops in her track and looks over to where Kate is walking towards Matt. Alexis approaches her friend and her brother.
“What the fuck was that?” asks Kate.
“It was an extraction Kate,” explains Alexis.
“Its fucking illegal,” says Kate.
“The DEA does it all the time,” defends Alexis.
“We aren’t DEA, we’re not soldiers,” says Kate.
“Don’t sell yourself short, all right?” says Matt trying to calm the situation.
“Kate this is what happens all the time, people are killed, innocent people. Those guys we shot on the border were trying to kill us, you just have to live with that,” says Alexis walking into the building after the other soldiers.
Kate was fuming that her friend did not see this for what is was an illegal mission.
“You are just here to watch an learn, alright, suck it all in like a sponge,” says Matt also walking away finished with that conversation.
Authors note:
Hope you guys are liking this story so far and I just wanted to say I am by no mean an expert in cartels or U.S. agencies like the DEA, FBI, or CIA. This is just a fictional story with a dab of reality. Also sorry to the Steve fans I just thought it be funny if he had a thing for Alexis.  Stay safe!

Hostile school board meetings have members calling it quits (AP) A Nevada school board member said he had thoughts of suicide before stepping down amid threats and harassment. In Virginia, a board member resigned over what she saw as politics driving decisions on masks. The vitriol at board meetings in Wisconsin had one member fearing he would find his tires slashed. School board members are largely unpaid volunteers, traditionally former educators and parents who step forward to shape school policy, choose a superintendent and review the budget. But a growing number are resigning or questioning their willingness to serve as meetings have devolved into shouting contests between deeply political constituencies over how racial issues are taught, masks in schools, and COVID-19 vaccines and testing requirements. In his letter of resignation from Wisconsin’s Oconomowoc Area School Board, Rick Grothaus said its work had become “toxic and impossible to do.” “When I got on, I knew it would be difficult,” Grothaus, a retired educator, said by phone. “But I wasn’t ready or prepared for the vitriolic response that would occur, especially now that the pandemic seemed to just bring everything out in a very, very harsh way. It made it impossible to really do any kind of meaningful work.”
California fire approaches Lake Tahoe after mass evacuation (AP) A ferocious wildfire swept toward Lake Tahoe on Tuesday just hours after roads were clogged with fleeing cars when the entire California resort city of South Lake Tahoe was ordered to evacuate and communities just across the state line in Nevada were warned to get ready to leave. The popular vacation haven normally filled with tens of thousands of summer tourists emptied out Monday as the massive Caldor Fire rapidly expanded. Vehicles loaded with bikes and camping gear and hauling boats were in gridlock traffic, stalled in hazy, brown air that smelled like a campfire. Police and other emergency vehicles whizzed by. “It’s more out of control than I thought,” evacuee Glen Naasz said of the fire that by late Monday had been pushed by strong winds across California highways 50 and 89, burning mountain cabins as it swept down slopes into the Tahoe Basin.
Hurricane Ida traps Louisianans, shatters the power grid (AP) Rescuers set out in hundreds of boats and helicopters to reach people trapped by floodwaters Monday, and utility repair crews rushed in, after a furious Hurricane Ida swamped the Louisiana coast and ravaged the electrical grid in the sticky, late-summer heat. People living amid the maze of rivers and bayous along the state’s Gulf Coast retreated desperately to their attics or roofs and posted their addresses on social media with instructions for search-and-rescue teams on where to find them. More than 1 million customers in Louisiana and Mississippi—including all of New Orleans—were left without power as Ida, one of the most powerful hurricanes ever to hit the U.S. mainland, pushed through on Sunday and early Monday before weakening into a tropical storm. As it continued to make its way inland with torrential rain and shrieking winds, it was blamed for at least two deaths. But with many roads impassable and cellphone service knocked out in places, the full extent of its fury was still coming into focus. The governor’s office said damage to the power grid appeared “catastrophic.” And local officials warned it could be weeks before power is fully restored, leaving multitudes without refrigeration or air conditioning during the dog days of summer, with highs forecast in the mid-80s to close to 90 by midweek.
Heavily armed criminal group ties hostages to getaway cars after storming Brazilian city (Washington Post) A heavily armed group of bank robbers wreaked havoc across a southeastern Brazilian city early Monday, striking several banks, setting fire to vehicles and tying hostages to their getaway cars, in an assault that left at least three people dead, officials say. Even in a country long accustomed to random spasms of violence, Brazilians reacted with shock and fear. The group stormed Araçatuba, a city of 200,000 in São Paulo state, around midnight to strike several city banking agencies. Gunshots punctured the early-morning quiet. Authorities asked residents to stay inside. Images on social media and local news reports showed at least 10 people clinging to getaway cars, apparently strapped there to deter fire from police. The hostages were reportedly released after the group escaped. The raid bore the characteristics of what criminologists have called a growing pattern: nighttime assaults on midsize Brazilian cities—often elaborate bank heists, intricately planned, well choreographed and executed by well-financed criminal groups equipped with the weaponry and gadgetry of war. The group flew a drone over Araçatuba during the raid, according to local reports, to track movements throughout the city.
EU travel restrictions (AP) The European Union recommended Monday that its 27 nations reinstate restrictions on tourists from the U.S. because of rising coronavirus infections there, but member countries will keep the option of allowing fully vaccinated U.S. travelers in. The EU’s decision reflects growing anxiety that the rampant spread of the virus in the U.S. could jump to Europe at a time when Americans are allowed to travel to the continent. Both the EU and the U.S. have faced rising infections this summer, driven by the more contagious delta variant. The guidance issued Monday is nonbinding, however. American tourists should expect a mishmash of travel rules across the continent since the EU has no unified COVID-19 tourism policy and national EU governments have the authority to decide whether or how they keep their borders open during the pandemic.
Italy’s record droughts (La Stampa) The earth is cracking in Italy’s northwest region of Piedmont: the crops and the animals suffer. Italy has been ravaged by fires and storms, like Greece, Turkey and much of Southern Europe. Italy has recorded 1,200 “extreme” meteorological events—a 56% increase from last year. Wildfires ravaged the southern regions of Sardinia, Calabria and Sicily. The town of Florida, in Sicily, is thought to have recorded the hottest temperature ever recorded in Europe: 48.8 °C. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall devastated other parts of the country. Coldiretti, Italy’s largest agricultural association, has just summed up the bill for this Italian summer: The damages to agriculture, it says, amount to €1 billion. Wheat yields have fallen 10%; cherries 30%, nectarines 40%. Tomato and corn crops have also suffered heavy losses. Giovanni Bedino, a 59-year-old Italian farmer, has been working the land since he was 15. “I love this job, but a year like this takes away your love,” he told Turin daily La Stampa. “We couldn’t water the fields and nothing came down from the sky. I remember, the summer of 2003 was a very difficult one—but it wasn’t even close to this year. I have never seen such a drought.”
In India, a debate over population control turns explosive (Washington Post) Yogi Adityanath, a star of India’s political right wing, stood before television cameras in his trademark saffron tunic and dramatically introduced a bill pushing for smaller families—two children at most. In previous decades, this measure by the leader of the country’s most populous state might have been uncontroversial. Over the past month, it’s been explosive. Critics saw a veiled attempt to mobilize Hindu voters by tapping into an age-old trope about India’s Muslim population ballooning out of control. As India barrels toward a pivotal election in Uttar Pradesh early next year, population bills introduced by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have become a new flash point in the national debate, vividly illustrating how the issues of religion and identity, spoken or implied, form the most powerful undercurrent in the country’s politics. Since 2011, when official census figures emerged showing Hindus dipping to 80 percent of India’s population compared to 84 percent in 1951—Muslims increased from 10 percent to 14.2 percent during that same period—the question of how to maintain “demographic balance” has gained urgency for the Hindu movement’s leaders. A 2016 national survey finding that Indian Muslim women had, on average, 2.6 children compared to 2.1 for Hindus provoked more concern.
North Korea appears to have restarted Yongbyon nuclear reactor, U.N. body says (Washington Post) North Korea appears to have restarted its main nuclear reactor at Yongbyon in July, a “deeply troubling” sign that the country may be on track to expand its nuclear program, according to a new report by the United Nations’ atomic agency. The finding adds another challenge to the Biden administration’s goal of denuclearizing North Korea. Although Yongbyon is not the only site where North Korea has produced highly enriched uranium, its role at the heart of Pyongyang’s nuclear ambitions made the facility a bargaining chip in previous negotiations. In 2008, North Korea ceremoniously blew up the reactor’s cooling tower in a largely made-for-TV event amid nuclear talks between the United States and former leader Kim Jong Il. (A new cooling tower was built after the negotiations fell through.)
Last troops exit Afghanistan, ending America’s longest war (AP) The United States completed its withdrawal from Afghanistan late Monday, ending America’s longest war and closing a chapter in military history likely to be remembered for colossal failures, unfulfilled promises and a frantic final exit that cost the lives of more than 180 Afghans and 13 U.S. service members, some barely older than the war. Hours ahead of President Joe Biden’s Tuesday deadline for shutting down a final airlift, and thus ending the U.S. war, Air Force transport planes carried a remaining contingent of troops from Kabul airport. Thousands of troops had spent a harrowing two weeks protecting a hurried and risky airlift of tens of thousands of Afghans, Americans and others seeking to escape a country once again ruled by Taliban militants. In announcing the completion of the evacuation and war effort. Gen. Frank McKenzie, head of U.S. Central Command, said the last planes took off from Kabul airport at 3:29 p.m. Washington time, or one minute before midnight in Kabul. He said a number of American citizens, likely numbering in “the very low hundreds,” were left behind, and that he believes they will still be able to leave the country. The final pullout fulfilled Biden’s pledge to end what he called a “forever war” that began in response to the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, that killed nearly 3,000 people in New York, Washington and rural Pennsylvania.
Afghanistan’s ‘Gen Z’ fears for future and hard-won freedoms (Reuters) Almost two third of Afghans are under the age of 25, and an entire generation cannot even remember the Taliban, who ruled Afghanistan from 1996 until it was toppled by Western-backed militia in 2001. During that time they enforced a strict interpretation of Islamic law, banning girls from school, women from work and carrying out public executions. Since 2001, the militants fought an insurgency in which thousands of Afghans died. Since re-taking power, the group has been quick to reassure students that their education would not be disrupted, also saying it would respect the rights of women and urging talented professionals not to leave the country. But used to a life with cellphones, pop music and mixing of genders, Afghanistan’s “Generation Z”—born roughly in the decade around the turn of the millennium—now fears some freedoms will be taken away, according to interviews with half a dozen Afghan students and young professionals. “I made such big plans, I had all these high reaching goals for myself that stretched to the next 10 years,” said Sosan Nabi, a 21-year-old graduate. “We had a hope for life, a hope for change. But in just one week, they took over the country and in 24 hours they took all our hopes, dreams snatched from in front of our eyes. It was all for nothing.”
They made it out of Afghanistan. But their path ahead is uncertain. (Washington Post) As the United States winds down its evacuation operation in Afghanistan, the Biden administration is accelerating efforts to resettle Afghans on U.S. soil, where they will be expected to apply for visas or humanitarian protection that could put them on a path to legal residency and citizenship. But the chaotic nature of the enormous airlift means that much is unknown: Officials have not said precisely how many Afghan evacuees have made it into the United States or whether all will be allowed to stay. More than 117,000 people had been evacuated from Afghanistan on U.S. and other flights as of Saturday, and Pentagon officials said the vast majority are Afghan citizens. Thousands have arrived in the United States, while thousands more are waiting in “transit hubs” in Europe and the Middle East. They are a mix of brand-new refugees and families with existing immigration applications that have been pending for months or years. Where the evacuees will end up is “a hard question to answer,” said Mark Hetfield, president and CEO of HIAS, one of the refugee resettlement agencies operating in the United States. “I don’t really know where they stand,” Hetfield said in an interview. “It’s chaos.”

Why Forming a C-Corporation Is the Smartest Move for Global Entrepreneurs
Tumblr media
In today’s borderless business landscape, startups are no longer confined to local markets. Whether you’re a fintech founder in Nigeria or an AI entrepreneur in Germany, going global is no longer a luxury—it's a strategic necessity. And when you're setting your sights on global capital, partnerships, or expansion, choosing the right business structure becomes critical.
That’s where the C-Corporation stands out.
With BizSimpl Global, founders worldwide can seamlessly register a C-Corporation in the U.S., tap into international investor networks, and stay fully compliant across jurisdictions—all from one digital platform.
The Modern Case for C-Corporation Formation
While the C-Corp has long been the standard in the United States, it’s now being embraced by international entrepreneurs for several strategic reasons:
1. Global Credibility & Investor Trust
U.S.-registered C-Corporations, particularly in Delaware, are instantly recognized by banks, investors, and partners. The structure signals that your business is ready for high-growth, venture funding, and scale.
2. Strategic Holding Entity for International Startups
Many startups use a C-Corp as a parent or holding company, especially when expanding from emerging markets. This allows them to:
Attract U.S. or global investors
Centralize ownership and IP
Build a more favorable tax position for exits
3. Access to U.S. Grants, Contracts & Markets
Registering a C-Corporation opens the door to U.S. government contracts, startup programs, and grants otherwise unavailable to foreign entities.
4. Digital-First Compliance Model
With platforms like BizSimpl Global, founders don’t need to be physically present or hire U.S.-based teams to manage compliance. Everything is handled remotely, securely, and affordably.
Beyond Incorporation: C-Corps as Vehicles for Scale
Unlike LLCs or sole proprietorships, C-Corporations are built for scalability. Here’s why they work so well for growth-focused companies:
💼 Structured Governance: Board of directors, bylaws, and shareholders keep the company professionally managed
📈 Scalable Capitalization: Multiple stock classes, stock splits, convertible notes—C-Corps support complex equity setups
💰 Exit Friendly: M&A and IPO readiness makes C-Corps attractive for acquisition or public listing
🤝 International Shareholders: There are no restrictions on non-U.S. shareholders or ownership percentages
BizSimpl Global: The Future of International C-Corp Formation

A Look at Emerging Trends: Why More Startups Are Choosing C-Corps
The numbers tell the story. According to Crunchbase and Pitchbook:
Over 80% of U.S. venture-backed startups are structured as C-Corporations
More than 70% of Y Combinator and Techstars alumni have formed Delaware C-Corps
In 2024, the demand for cross-border incorporation grew by 35%—a trend driven by globalization and digital nomad founders
If you're planning to raise venture capital, enter the U.S. market, or issue shares to a distributed team, the C-Corp isn’t just an option—it’s your strategic foundation.
