“Mama definitely does it better, Papa,” Mouse said from where she sat across from her father on a zabuton. Her legs were crossed as were her arms across her chest. Sukuna recognized the scowl across her face as being a mirror of his own.
“Does what better, Mouse?” Sukuna asked, trying to soothe the fussy baby in his arms.
You and Uraume had decided to go to town together, leaving him alone for the first time with both of his children. He had scoffed at you when you asked if he could handle it. Of course he could!
A few hours in and he had already decided that going forward he owed you a night of absolute pampering for every time he was away. As the minutes dragged by he decided he owed you for all the past trips he had gone on too… How did you do this for sometimes weeks at a time without any aid?
Every time he got Mouse occupied, Monkey cried. Every time he got Monkey satisfied, Mouse was getting into something…
“Puts him to sleep,” she said, giving him a look that questioned his level of intelligence.
“Well, Mama has certain… abilities that I do not,” Sukuna said as he tried again to get Monkey to take the bottle.
“Yup! He likes the boob. Papa got boobs, but them not food boobs.”
“I do not have boobs. I have pectoral muscles. But otherwise, your assessment is… accurate.” Once again, Sukuna was flabbergasted by the conversations he wound up engaging in.
Mouse puffed out her cheeks and pressed her lips together, narrowing her eyes on her baby brother. She suddenly sat up with a big smile on her face. “Mmmm, Papa! I has an idea!”
Oh, he couldn’t wait to hear this. “Alright, let’s hear it.”
“I take a turn to try to make him go sleepy, now. Please and Thank you, Papa!”
Unless her idea was to smother her brother, she could not do worse than he was. Fuck it. “Alright. What do you need me to do?”
“Let's go to the bedroom, Papa!” Mouse got to her feet and did one of her little jumps, signaling her level of excitement. He hoped he did not regret this.
Sukuna stood with Monkey in his arms and followed Mouse to the master bedroom. She clambered up onto the bed and laid on her side. Mouse patted the bed next to her and gave him instructions. “Monkey needs to go here, please and thank you, Papa!” Mouse instructed.
He moved to kneel on the soft mattress and gently laid the baby down on his back next to his sister. “Alright, now what?”
“Papa do something else, please and thank you” she said, resting one hand on her brother’s stomach.
“Do something else?” Mouse strikes again with her infamous audacity.
Tuna jumped up on the bed and made his way over to the two demon seeds laying in the middle of the giant bed. He moved to wiggle himself between Sukuna's knee and Monkey’s side so that the baby was sandwiched between a bossy toddler and a kitsune with a death wish.
Mouse gave him a grin and the hand on Monkey’s stomach gave him a thumbs up. “I gots this, Papa! I the big sister, remember!”
To his surprise, Monkey was already starting to fuss less. He let out a dejected sigh and shrugged. “Fine. But you are not to pick him up and I am only giving you 5 minutes.”
“10 minutes.”
“7 minutes,” he countered.
“6 minutes!” she countered back.
“Done!” Who was he to tell her she had short changed herself? An image popped into his mind of the look that you would shoot him when Mouse told you about this exact conversation over dinner tonight… Mouse was right. You were scary. “7 is bigger than 6, Mouse.”
“Then I wants 7 minutes, please and thank you,” she said before she began shushing softly at Monkey.
“7 minutes. And-”
“I no pick him up, promise, Papa.”
Sukuna leaned over to give both of his children gentle kisses on their foreheads and he was pulling away when Mouse said his name. He glanced down to see his daughter’s eyes suddenly starting to get heavy with tiredness as well. “What do you need, Mouse?”
“I need to kiss you too, Papa,” she gave him a tired but toothy grin. She rubbed her face against the soft pillow case and lifted her hand from her brother’s tummy to reach for him.
Sukuna felt his heart melt at the sight and leaned forward. He let Mouse pull his head down so she could place a gentle kiss on his nose. He smiled softly at her and kissed her forehead again, one of his hands reaching over to ruffle her hair. “Sleep sweet.”
Sukuna moved to open the shoji door to the back yard. He stepped outside to sit on the engawa and loaded his kiseru as he listened to Mouse quietly singing the song you sang to them every night at bed time.
He took a long drag, letting the smoke fill his lungs and breathing the hazy mist out his belly mouth.
He smirked as he remembered the first time he had done that in your presence. He had expected you to be at least mildly disgusted or slightly disturbed. He had expected to see that adorable look you got on your face when you were perturbed by his actions.
But oh no, not his precious one. Your eyes had lit up like fire works in the dark of night and you had immediately handed the kiseru back to him, demanding he do it again. And again. And he did.
Sukuna would do anything to see you smile and laugh like you did that night. If it meant spending several moments behaving like some damn street performer doing cheap sleight of hand tricks for a few coins, then so be it.
The same went for his daughter and his son. Anything to protect you guys. Anything to see you smile.
He was unsure how long he had been lost in his thoughts when his name was called softly from the bed, calling his focus back to the present. He set his kiseru down and headed inside. Noting the quiet of the room he made sure to keep his footsteps light as he approached the bed.
“Good job, Mouse,” Sukuna praised, seeing that Monkey and Tuna were both sound asleep beside her.
“I can’t sleep though, Papa,” she said softly. Just like her brother had not long before, Mouse was now fighting her own nap.
“And why not?” he asked, arching his brow.
“I need Papa cuddles, please and thank you, Papa,” she said, yawning. She moved the hand from Monkey’s belly to point directly behind her at his side of the bed.
“And why should I?” Sukuna asked, two hands on his hips and two arms folded across his chest.
“Because Papa loves Mouse!” she said, matter of factly. Monkey started to stir and Mouse rubbed his belly, humming softly and whispering. “It okay, Monkey. Oneechan is right here. Oneechan always be right here. Papa be right here soon too.”
She really was your daughter through and through.
“You are lucky that is true.” With a sigh he laid down next to her, wrapping one large arm across his children and even letting his fingers rest on Tuna’s back, giving the kitsune’s fir a few gentle strokes. “You did good too, Tuna.”
“Shshh, please and thank you, Papa. Don’t wake the Monkey.,” Mouse said in a whisper as she fit her head under his chin like usual. In a sleepy voice she said, “Sleep sweet, Papa.”
He adjusted his head to kiss the top of her head before resting his chin on it again. “Sleep sweet, Mouse. Now stop talking.”
“Okay, Papa.”
His daughter just had to have the last word. He grinned as he let his own eyes close. That’s my girl.

“Papa! Papa! Helloooooo! Papa! Wake up, please and thank you!”
Sukuna opened his eyes in narrowed slits at the only being in the world who would dare to sit on his chest and try to pry open his eyelids to wake him up. “What do you want, Mouse?”
“Good morning, Papa!” She preened and leaned forward. She cupped his face and kissed the tip of his nose. “Is you up now, Papa?”
“What do you think?”
“I think you is!” She giggled and kissed his nose again. “Hi Papa!”
He sighed. She better be damn glad she was cute. He lifted one of his hands to rub her back affectionately. “Hi Mouse. Now answer my question. What is it that you want?”
“Help me wake Mama up, please and thank you!”
“Wake her up yourself,” he grumbled. She had done just fine waking him up…
“Nuh uh! Mama gets scary!” Mouse said, her eyes wide and looking almost haunted.
Sukuna blinked slowly, as she reminded him again of a bitter truth. His daughter found you scarier than him… Nothing humbled a person like fatherhood it would seem.
“Why do you need me to wake her?”
“She’s scary.” Mouse pressed her lips at him in a brave display of annoyance. “I says that.”
“I mean what reason do you have to need her awake?”
“I has a plan. Needs her awake. Oh! I needs Urau-rau too!” She made an ‘oh’ face and clambered off of him and began heading towards the bedroom door. She paused to look at him over her shoulder. She gave him a look like one would give a comrade on a battlefield and left him with words of encouragement for his task ahead. “Be careful, Papa. You got this!”
“Alright, Mouse. You’ve got Uraume and me here. You put Papa on Monkey duty and banned him from half of the house. What’s up?” You asked, leaning a hip against a kitchen counter.
Uraume stood a few feet away, glowering at the toddler standing in front of you both with her hands on her hips and a triumphant look on her face. Tuna sat beside her, staring up at her as if waiting to be assigned a task.
Uraume huffed in vexation. “This had better be important.”
“It is!” Mouse said indignantly.
“We’re listening,” you encouraged her to start speaking before Uraume made her into breakfast.
“Don’t you know what today is?” Mouse asked, cocking her head slightly to the side.
“Obviously not.” Uraume’s patience was exceptionally thin when they were tired and Mouse already had that thread on the verge of breaking.
“It’s Papa’s birthday!” The look on her face as she glared up at the two of you was pure disappointment.
You and Uraume look at each other with eyes wide and jaws slightly ajar. Well, shit. Mouse was correct. It was in fact Sukuna’s birthday.
“Good job, Mouse! That would have been very important to not remember” You smiled at your daughter and reached out to pet her head.
Sukuna generally did not celebrate his birthday. Half of the time he did not even remember it himself. Which had been fine when it was just the grown ups. But now you had a child and she was old enough to remember having a party on her own birthday. There was no way Mouse was going to settle for anything less for her Papa.
Uraume looked at you. “Lord Sukuna does not celebrate his birthday.”
“Well… Now he going to! And next year! And next year! And a lot of next years!!” Mouse had one hand on her hip and another in the air, moving as she spoke. Her tone came across if she was making a royal decree. The Tiny Tyrant was trying very hard to leave no room for argument. She is just like her father.
“Lets just worry about this one right now,” you smiled at her.
“How did she even know it was his birthday?” Uraume asked.
“She must have heard him mention it to me the other day. The only thing I can think of is she counted it down? She’s really good at counting,” you answered, feeling fairly confident that was the answer.
“Right! Okay! I gots a plan!” Mouse ran over to a counter across from you, grabbed a sheet of paper off the counter and came back to her same place. “Mama? Urau-rau? You ready, please and thank you? ”
“I will hear your proposal but I make no promises that I will go along with it,” Uraume crossed their arms across their chest and waited to hear what Mouse had to say.
She gave an angry pout in Uraume’s position before she began to read off the paper in front of her. She had a list of foods she wanted to make for her Papa. You had to give her credit, it was really well thought out.
But there was one thing that had been bothering you. You held out a hand towards your daughter. “May I see your list?”
“I was going to ask the same thing,” Uraume muttered. They leaned in closer as you both examined the paper Mouse had been reading off of.
You had been curious how your three year old would have written out a list and then been able to read it off. Sukuna worked with her regularly on learning reading and writing. Not only did he want his daughter to be educated, he wanted to instill in her from a young age a love of reading and learning. Because of this she was very advanced for her age.
Still… this was a bit above her abilities.
Your eyes got wide when you saw that the words were there and they were correct. The kanji were very messy and a bit hard to read, but they were definitely right.
“I did good?” Mouse asked.
“You did very well, Mouse.” She preened at your praise.
“Who helped you with this?” Uruame’s voice was laden with suspicion.
“Tuna!” Mouse grinned and leaned down to wrap her arms around your resident kitsune. She rubbed her face in his fur affectionately while he looked up at the two of you with what was clearly a smirk on his face.
“How did Tuna help you?” You hated that your brain started questioning if Tuna was transforming without your knowledge. He was an old kitsune so not as mischievous as a young one, but he was still a kitsune.
“Wanna see?” Mouse straightened up, her face beaming with excitement and her eyes bright.
“Yes.” Uraume did not even give you a chance to consider it before they replied. Honestly, you were intrigued too.
“Okay! Stay right here, please and thank you!”
Mouse and Tuna scurried off down the hall and returned shortly with one of the calligraphy sets and washi. You and Uraume watched in silence as Mouse got everything set up. She laid down on her belly and Tuna took up a spot on the opposite side of the washi. He pressed her nose affectionately to her forehead.
She grinned up at you as she reached up to pet his head affectionately. Her pink hair was messy from never having been combed this morning because she was too anxious to hold her conclave in the kitchen. She brushed her hair out of her face and resumed her position. “Okay, we ready! Watch us, please and thank you!”
“Go for it,” you answered with Uraume echoing with a sound of approval.
Mouse instructed Tuna that they were going to write ‘I love you, Papa’ and were specific that it was to be written in a large size. You watched as Mouse carefully dipped the brush in the ink and brought it to the paper. Her tongue peaked out of her mouth on the side as she tried to concentrate. She got part way in on her own, which was impressive to you. But what blew your mind was what came next.
Mouse paused her hand. “Tuna, I got stuck. Can you help me, please and thank you?”
The kitsune leaned his head down and used his nose to gently guide her hand to write it out. He did this each time she got stuck or did not know how to start. Every step of the way until it was finished. If Mouse started to get frustrated he would rest his nose against her forehead and ‘give a little ‘foof.’ It would make her smile and then she would give a nod and they would start again.
You and Uraume glanced at each other, absolutely stunned. Never in a million years would you have thought that you would have a 5 tailed kitsune that was patiently teaching your daughter to write. And yet that was what was happening right before your eyes.
Mouse got to her knees and picked up the washi as Tuna moved to sit at her side. She held it up for you and Uraume to see. Both of them looked up at you with pride on their faces. “Ta da!”
Every single kanji was right. You were stunned and proud. Of both of them. You squatted down and pet both of their heads. “You guys did a great job! What are you going to do with that, Mouse?”
She gave you a huge grin. “I’ll tell you! You ready to start the plan, please and thank you?”
Uraume looked at you and gave a disgusted sigh, but you could see the slight smile on their face. “I guess you have earned some cooperation.”
“What that mean? Co-bob…er-a-dee-don?”
“Not even close.” Uraume shook their head.
“Coperation,” you couldn’t hide the chuckle at Mouse’s attempt. “Good try. It means that Uraume is going to help us with your list.”
Mouse jumped up and down in excitement, spinning in a circle before taking a stance similar to one would before a fight, including putting up her fists up in front of her. “Please and thank you, let's go!!
“Papa! Monkey! We ready!” Mouse called as she burst through the shoji door to the bedroom where Sukuna laid reading while Monkey laid in bed next to him happily playing with his newly discovered toes.
“Are we finally released from our imprisonment?” Sukuna arched his eyebrow, making no moves to get up. About an hour ago he and Monkey had their approved territory reduced to just the bedroom. He was annoyed and curious simultaneously.
“Yup! Time to sit up, please and thank you!” Mouse ran to stand next to Sukuna’s side of the bed. She was unable to stand still so she did an excited little dance in place. She looked your way. “Mama, don’t forget you got to carry Monkey!”
“I won’t,” you chuckled, moving to pick your son up from the bed.
All four of his eyes lit up when he saw your face. He began excitedly babbling and immediately reached for you. You made a silly face at him to watch him smile big and laugh. He was the image of his father with the exception being he only had 2 arms. (You would have loved him the same and thought he was just as beautiful with four arms.)
The markings on his face were identical to his father’s with the exception of it being on both sides of his face and a mark across his nose. He had the same bands on his wrists and biceps, with light markings on his chest and back that were similar to his father’s. Sukuna had said the markings on his own chest and back darkened and widened with age, so only time would tell.
“You ready, Monkey?” you asked as you scooped him up and held him against you. You kissed his head and gave him a little squeeze as you watched Mouse giving Sukuna a hard time. You had such a beautiful little family. Your heart fluttered at the thought.
“Okay, Papa! You gots to close your eyes - all of em! And then hold my hand. Please and thank you!” Mouse said as Sukuna finally stood to his full height. She pointed a finger up at him as she tilted her head back. “And nooooo peaking!”
“And if I don’t?” He challenged.
“Please, Papa? Pretty, pretty please and thank you very, very much!”
He was pretty sure her eyes could not get any bigger and her lip could not stick out any further. He could tell she was excited, and he knew they had been working at something all damn day . He had to admit he was intrigued. He gave a loud sigh. It was overly dramatic and filled with dejection.
Mouse laughed at him and reached out her hand. For these two this was just business as usual. Sukuna closed his eyes, all four of them, and held out one of his hands. She looked at you with a big grin on her face. “Okay! Lets go! Don’t let go of my hand, okay, Papa?”
Don’t let go of my hand, okay, Papa? Those words and the sound of her sweet little voice saying them were now etched onto his heart and burned into his memory for the rest of his life. He gave a grunt. “Fine, fine. Lead the way.”
“Okay, Papa! Open your eyes!” Mouse directed as they came to a stop a short time later.
Sukuna opened his eyes and blinked. And then blinked again. There was a feast fit for a king laid out in front of him. Deserts, sweets, snacks, fish, rice, fowl, meat… and he could see his favorite meal that Uraume made with a very different type of meat.
You sat on the opposite side facing him with a smile on your face. Monkey was sitting in your lap facing him as well. Uraume knelt nearby with a small smile on their face but their head bent in respect as usual.
Everything looked and smelled delicious. He now knew why they had been busy all day and his movements had been restricted. But there was still just one thing he didn’t understand. “What’s this about?”
Mouse wrapped her arms around his arm, hugging it, and gave him a smile so bright it could rival the sun itself. “You forgotted?”
“I forgot what?” His eye brow arched.
“Silly Papa!” She covered her mouth as she giggled. Once she had recovered she looked up at Sukuna, a grin still on her face. “Happy Birthday, Papa!”
In honor of this series turning ONE YEAR OLD, here is an extra little short to celebrate
Sukuna's First Birthday
15 years ago:
“When is your birthday?”
Sukuna paused eating his meat to look at the child he had taken in under the pretense of putting their ice curse to use. “What type of question is that?”
The white haired 10 year old shrugged their shoulders. They had been filling the silence by asking him every single damn question they could think of. And some of them had been utterly ridiculous.
Still, he had humored the kid and answered all of them. Even the absurd ones. Though he did comment on the quality of some of these questions when he answered them.
“It’s just a normal question people ask each other," Uraume said with a shrug.
“I don’t know. Never knew and couldn’t care less,” Sukuna shrugged.
“But everyone has a birthday,” Uraume screwed up their face.
“Well, not me,” he shrugged. “My mother abandoned me and I have fended for myself my whole life. I never had anyone to share that knowledge with me, and no one has ever asked.”
“How many Oshogatsu festivals have you seen?” Uraume asked.
Sukuna made a tch sound and did some quick math in his head. “I would guess somewhere around 27? Why does it matter?”
“I just needed to know,” Uraume said, eyes tilting up as they organized thoughts in their head.
Sukuna was reaching for another skewer of meat again when they spoke. “Ten'an Gannen rokugatsu jūgo-nichi. “ (06.15.857 CE)
“What is the significance of this date?” Sukuna snatched up the meat and took a bite.
“You said you had seen approximately 27 Oshogatsu festivals. So I added 3 years to that since most people do not start to accrue formative memories until the age of 3. So that would be approximately 30 years ago,” Uraume explained their math.
“Okay… and the month and day?”
“That is the Month and the Day that you took me in,” they averted their gaze, shyness setting in.
It was an interesting choice of dates. The large man shrugged. Why not? He had no plans to celebrate it, but if it made the kid feel better, it was a small concession.
Sukuna lifted one of his hands and moved it like he was waving something off. “Fine, fine. If that is what you wish, I will accept it.”
Uraume looked back at him and grinned from ear to ear before they lowered their head and hands to the ground. “You honor me, Lord Sukuna!”
Sukuna himself was not bothered by not having a birthday. But the fact that Uraume had been upset that he did not have one and then took actual, thoughtful care in choosing a date…
It caused an unknown feeling, and honestly uncomfortable, feeling like a warm flutter in his stomach.
Sukuna shook his head and reached out a hand for another skewer of meat. He reasoned it was probably just some weird vagal response or indigestion and gave it no more thought. Instead he feasted on the delicious food that Uraume had made and continued answering stupid questions into the night.
And so goes the story of Sukuna’s first birthday.

Summary: Mouse is struggling with the adjustment to being a big sister and having a baby in the house. It's day two with two kids and Mouse has some suggestions of how to handle a crying baby.
WC: 800+
CW: Reader referred to as Mama but not described, new siblings, breast feeding, Boob humor, Dad!sukuna, dilf sukuna, family fluff, SFW, toddler dad Sukuna, girl dad!sukuna, boy dad!sukuna, true form Sukuna (4 arms),
“Papa! Put it back! It too loud!” Mouse said loudly as she clapped her hands over her ears.
Sukuna sighed and rolled his eyes. “I cannot put your baby brother back, Mouse.”
“Papa, quick! Eat him!” she said, pointing at the baby wiggling and crying in your arms.
“Mouse, I am not going to eat your brother.” Sukuna gave her an unamused glare. “I mean look at him. He has no fat on him. Meat needs fat to have flavor. Not to mention he’s even more of a runt than you were. He’s not even an appetizer at this point.”
“Not helping,” you glared at your husband.
“Then sell him.” She said with a look of agony on her face.
“Not happening.” It was only day two with the new baby and already Sukuna was wondering if you should have decided to be one and done.
“Mouse,” you said her name, getting her attention as you tried to soothe the baby. “I know he’s loud-”
“And very stinky!” Mouse said, pinching her nose from where she sat perched on her father’s leg. She added a dramatic fanning of the air in front of her face.
“But he is just a baby. It’s only his second day on earth. Crying is the only way he can talk to us,” you tried to explain in a tired tone.
Tired did not describe it. You were beyond exhausted. Your son, nicknamed Monkey yesterday by the same sister who wanted him annexed today, was fighting going down for a nap.
You didn’t remember being this exhausted the first time around. Then again, Mouse had been easier to soothe and you hadn’t been simultaneously trying to wrangle and soothe a toddler who was used to having you and her father completely to herself.
Mouse pressed her lips together, a look of concentration coming over her face. She hummed in a tone you had never heard her make before as she stared down the baby still making noise in your arms. You took in her antics, trying to figure out what she was trying to do.
Sukuna arched his eyebrow at his little imp. “What are you doing, brat?”
“Shh, please and thank you, Papa. I tryin’ to understand him,” she said, leaning forward as far as Sukuna’s hand on her belly would let her go.
You struggled not to laugh at just how serious her expression was. It warmed your heart that she had gone from trying to oust the baby to trying to understand him in a moment’s time. Maybe there is hope yet. “What do you think he is saying?”
Mouse gave a hum before sitting back and looking up at you. “Him still hungry, Mama. Him saying give him a boob, please and thank you, Mama. Just give him a boob and he’ll go night night.”
Sukuna choked on air, sputtering at her response. He was unable to stop his head from falling back against the headboard and the laughter from falling from his lips. You could almost swear you saw tears in his eyes as he wheezed at her wording. You narrowed your eyes, realizing he was going to be absolutely useless in this situation.
“Mouse, don’t say it like that,” you said, trying not to let your husband’s immature sense of humor rub off on you when you were trying to parent your daughter. Someone needed to act like a grown up but did it have to always be you?
“But… it not wrong, Mama,” she looked very confused. “Him hungry. You milk in you boobs. Him eat from you boobs. Him eats then him sleeps.”
“You are correct. But let's just call it feeding him, okay? No need to mention boobs when talking about eating, okay?” You said, not wanting to make a big deal out of it but also wanting to discourage the use of that phrase, no matter how accurate or amusing it was.
“Speak for yourself,” Sukuna bristled.
You ignored him and cupped Mouse’s cheek before you rearranged the baby and helped him latch. He immediately quieted down, nuzzling into your breast and resting his little hand on your chest. You kissed his head and looked at Mouse to see her giving you a smug look from the lap of her equally smug looking father.
“What’s with you two?” You asked, hand rubbing soothingly on Monkey’s back.
Mouse answered first, “Told you him was hungry.”
“It would seem you were not wrong, little Mouse. And what about you?” You asked your husband after giving Mouse a smile.
“I can’t say mine because it involves saying a word I cannot say with another word,” he smirked shamelessly at you.
Mouse looked from him to you and then decided that since she had translated for her brother, she should also translate for her father. “Mama, him means sayin’ boobs.”
“Thanks Mouse,” you groaned.
Sukuna grinned and leaned over, kissing your forehead and saying softly, “Well, yet again, she is not wrong!”

WC: 1101
CW: reader is referred to as 'Mama' but not described, toddler dad Sukuna, girl dad!sukuna, true form Sukuna (4 arms), it's pretty much just plain Dilf Sukuna fluff and crack, SFW in every way, just family fluff, father and daughter fluff, I love them together, baby's first attempt at curse techniques
“Ma-leb-pu-tent Shine!!! I said Ma-leb-pu-tent SHIIIINE!!!.... Shine please and Thank you?”
Sukuna headed outside, curious just what his daughter was doing and even more curious about who she was talking to. He found her standing in the yard, doing what looked to be the toddler version of his palm sign for Malevolent Shrine. Ah, so that’s what she was trying to say.
“Mouse. What are you doing?” he asked, startling her and watching her whip around to face him.
“I tryin’ to do shine like Papa does but it no want to come for me. I even said please and thank you,” she told him with a frustrated look on her face.
“It is shrine not shine.” He stopped in front of her, towering over the toddler with his arms crossed.
“I says that.”
“Why do you have a need of Malevolent Shrine, brat?” he asked, lips pursed as he waited for an explanation.
“That,” she turned and pointed behind her.
Sukuna saw the decent sized watermelon sitting in the grass a short distance away. He glanced down at her and asked why she had not done what should obviously have been her first choice before trying to unleash shrine. “Why didn’t you just ask Uraume or your mother?”
“No! Papa! Uhm… they no know…” she scratched her little pink head as she looked up at him.
His daughter may be a thief but at least she did not lie. He smirked down at her, “They told you to wait until after dinner, didn’t they?”
“Yes… but starving Papa. I no have a tummy mouth but my tummy is empty and hungry, Papa!” She looked up at him with big huge pleading eyes.
Sukuna sighed before kneeling down on one knee. He reached out a hand and gripped her arm, pulling her closer with a gentle but firm tug. He tapped the tip of her little turned up nose when she looked up at him. Time to set her straight. Better do it while she was still young.
He kissed her forehead and turned her around so she was in front of him facing the watermelon. “Since the watermelon is only 1 thing and it has a small circumference-”
“Whats a cir-cub-prince?”
“Circumference. Its how big a circle needs to be. Notice how the watermelon is not very big?” she nodded. “That means it would be better to use a single slashing attack. Now, Do you want slices or chunks?”
“Chunks, please and thank you, Papa!” she said in a tone of victory, cheering her little hands up.
“Alright. Then this is what you want to use. Dismantle!” he moved his hand and the watermelon fell apart into perfect cubes.
“Thank you, Papa!!” Mouse bolted from his arms towards the juicy pile of green and pink contraband. She jumped up and down, squealing with delight before leaning down to grab a piece in either hand and come running towards him. She held up a piece to him. “You have some too, Papa!”
And wouldn’t luck have it that the moment he sunk his teeth in he heard your voice from behind. He didn’t have to look to know your hands were on your hips and your face was pinched in frustration. “What do you two think you are doing? You’re going to ruin your appetites!”
“Uh-oh, Papa!” Mouse said in a loud whisper to him. “She got her stink face on. We in big trouble.”
If you had heard her words or seen his face when she said it, he knew they would both be did. Even if not a single word she spoke was a lie. It was the perfect description for it. “Go get a piece for Mama. I’ll try to smooth it over.”
“Okay, Papa!” she nodded and took off running while he stood to face you. “I came outside to find her trying to use Malevolent Shrine to cut the watermelon she admittedly stole. But don’t worry precious one, I have corrected the error of her ways.”
“Here, mama!” Mouse said as she came running back, holding up a piece for you and eating a fresh new piece in her other hand.
“Oh you did?” You asked him, taking the watermelon from Mouse. You looked down at her and brushed bach hair from her eyes with your fingers. “So Papa already talked to you about how stealing is bad?”
“Nope! Papa taught me that to make little chunks you need to use dibanedele not Ma-leb-pu-tent shine. Because of the cir-cub-prince of a watermelon,” she explained as she held onto your robes with her sticky free hand.
You glared at Sukuna who just shrugged his shoulders. “I told you I corrected her on the error of her ways.”
“Papa is the best Papa!” Mouse laughed happily, blissfully unaware that you were conjuring the image of squashing her father’s head over and over and over again in your mind. She ran off to get more melon.
“That’s your version of correcting the error of her ways?” you grumbled as he smirked. You shook your head, a small smile tugging at one corner of your lips. “I should have known before I even asked.”
“Mama, Papa! Come have more with me, please and thank you!” Mouse called, gesturing with her hands for you to join her.
You once again found yourself adopting the ‘if you can’t beat them, join them’ mentality with a sigh. You grabbed one of his hands and gave it a tug, “Come on, we better go help her. There’s too much evidence there for her to eat all of it by herself and Uraume will be looking for that watermelon soon.”
“You want to teach her to eat the evidence of her crimes but I got the stink face merely for correcting which technique she needed for that situation?” he arched an eyebrow at you.
Your eyes narrowed on his face. “Excuse me? Stink face?”
“Don’t be mad, precious one, it describes it accurately.”
You laughed and let him pull you in for a kiss. You cupped his face with your hands, letting him kiss you softly several times before you pulled back. “I supposed my having a stink face pairs well with your being a stinky head.”
“Ouch,” he said, screwing up his face and letting you go.
“Ouch in deed, ouch indeed. Now come, my beloved, we must go assist our little delinquent in covering her tracks.” It was a life full of craziness that you led, but there was nowhere else you would rather be and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

Irreplaceable
I have had the sad lately, so I wrote a little something to cheer myself up. There is nothing like a trip into Mouse's Mini-verse to do the trick!
If you prefer to read it on AO3 click here !
WC: 900+
Summary: Mouse comes to Sukuna with big feelings and a bag of seashells.
AN: To anyone new to my Daddy Duty series- Mouse is Sukuna's two year old daughter. Welcome to Mouse's Mini-verse!
Terms to know: Ohajiki -a game played like marbles but with pieces that are generally flat on the back and rounded on the front.
CW: Mouse has big feelings about the new baby on the way, reader is only mentioned, Hurt/comfort, fluff, Sukuna Fluff, DILF Sukuna, totally SFW
Sukuna had just started to drift into a nap on his throne when he heard the heavy doors of the room start to open. A small grunt of effort caught his ear and he gave a little sigh. “What do you need, Mouse?”
Sure enough his pink haired daughter squeezed through the crevice she had opened and entered the room. The door thumped shut behind her and she made her way across the room to his throne. Unphased by the mountain of bones or steep stairs, she made her way up to stand before him.
One look at her pathetically sad face had him picking her up and pulling her in. “Mouse. Answer my question.”
“Papa,” she said in a soft voice, looking up at him with big eyes full of tears. “I has a sad.”
Sukuna blinked slowly. Has a sad? “What does that mean?”
“I just… I sad, Papa. I can’t find the happy in my heart,” she still spoke softer than usual.
Sukuna rubbed her back with one hand and brushed fingers through her pink hair. He contemplated his words. You were far better at dealing with what you ridiculously referred to as ‘big feelings’ and being the comforting parent than he was, yet Mouse had chosen to come to him. He would give it a shot and if need be, he would teleport them to wherever you were, shove her into your arms and tag you in. “Was there something that caused you to feel this… distress?”
One of her hands fiddled with the material of his haori and her gaze turned downcast. “I no want Papa to be mad.”
Sukuna cocked his head slightly at her words. “I won’t be mad.”
“Promise?”
“Yes…” he waited.
“I… I thinking about the baby,” she said, still not meeting his gaze.
“What about the baby?” Sukuna couldn’t imagine what about the coming sibling would make his daughter sad.
“What if you like it better?” Her voice was a broken whisper and he could see little tears rolling down her cheeks.
“Mouse. Look at me,” he said firmly, turning her chin up. He waited until she did as he said before continuing. “That is not something you should be concerned about.”
“But you might…” she tried to blink back the tears leaking down her chubby cheeks. “And then you might not play with me…”
Sukuna may struggle with the softer side of parenting but his actions and words came naturally in this moment, “Foolish child. You are my little Mouse. No one could replace you.”
She gave him a small smile and sniffled. “Papa promise?”
“I promise. We will still play even when your sibling is born. Now enough with the tears, alright?” he said, brushing them off her face in a gentle way that still sometimes surprised him that he was capable of.
“Okay, Papa,” she nodded, sniffling as she worked to calm herself. She grabbed his face as he started to pull back and pulled him forward with a hand on either side of his face to place a kiss on his nose.
He chuckled softly and ruffled her hair before he relaxed back into his throne, still holding Mouse in his arms. He looked down at her and gave her a stern look. “Now that this matter has been settled. Do you have any other needs of the King of curses, since you dared to enter my throne room?”
She tilted her head and thought for a moment, “Yes!”
“And what would that be?”
“We needs to do seashell time, please and thank you, Papa!” She said in an excited tone.
While he was relieved her mood had improved he was unsure just what she was asking of him. “What is that supposed to mean?”
Mouse gave him a big smile as she pulled out a small silk drawstring bag from seemingly nowhere. She opened the bag carefully and produced a small round topped disc made of shell and beamed at him “See! Seashell game! I even got it with me!”
He knew what it was the moment he laid eyes on the bag. She had been carrying those damn things around since he brought them home from his last journey. She called them her treasures.
Sukuna gave a derisive snort and stood with Mouse in his arms. He descended the throne and sat her down on the floor at its base. He took a seat across from her and motioned for her to give him the bag in her hand. Mouse knelt down across from him and handed him the pouch.
He opened the bag and dumped the contents out on the ground, turning the pieces upright as he spoke. “The game is called Ohajiki, not ‘the seashell game.’”
“Got it!” she beamed. “You go first, Papa!”
Sukuna drew an imaginary line between two pieces and flicked one gently, knocking it into another with ease. He picked up the piece in his hand. He gestured to her for her to take a turn.
She observed the stones and mimicked his motions, laughing happily as she picked up the piece she had successfully thumped. She met his gaze and said, “Thank you Papa.”
“For what Mouse?” he asked, finishing another turn.
He watched with pride as she strategized her next move, a finger pressed to her lips in concentration. The juxtaposition of his throne of bones being the backdrop for his pink haired, pigtailed daughter and her spread of shining seashells made him chuckle to himself.
Mouse gave him a wide toothy grin that lit up her eyes. The joy on her face brought a smile to his own lips as well. She answered in a cheerful voice as she leaned forward to take another turn. “For giving me a happy.”
Author's note - With all of my heart: For anyone else struggling with the sad lately, this one is for you! You are not alone. Your feelings are valid. Don't forget to eat some food, drink some water and get some sleep. And most of all... Keep holding on. 🫂 I hope these silly little stories are a light in the dark to anyone else out there who finds themselves stumbling away from the ever pursuing Nothing. (Brownie points if you get that reference.) Things WILL get better. I don't know when and I don't know how, but they will. No matter what, we must persevere.

Full House
It will probably be quite a while before I write about the full family, but I wanted to share some of my silly little thoughts and see what you guys think. So.... Talk to me, goose!
For more adventures with Mouse and Dad!Sukuna, check out my Daddy Duty Series on my AO3 - Here! )
To read these headcannons on AO3 please click here !
Summary: Some of my random head canon's about Mouse's future siblings and their hijinks (thoughts and prayers for Uraume)
WC: 800+
CW: Reader referred to as Mama but not described, new siblings, Dad!sukuna, dilf sukuna, family fluff, SFW, toddler dad Sukuna, girl dad!sukuna, boy dad!sukuna, true form Sukuna (4 arms),
You and Sukuna ended up with three kids. That was it. You hit three and you were done. He was done. Uraume had been done. Three was the magic number.
Your first child - Mouse - the adorable pinkette with audacity and charm who says ‘please and thank you’ after many things because she believes she cannot get in trouble if she is using her manners. She’s a wild child and she’s mischievous, but she does listen most of the time.
Your second child - Monkey - While he favors Sukuna in looks, that thick head of hair is the exact same color as yours. He is softer spoken than his sister and while he is not into everything because he is mischievous, he is into everything because he is curious and has one of those minds that thrives on taking things apart and understanding them. He’s a sweet little bookworm who tends to listen better than his big sister. Maybe someday he’ll rub off on her.
Your third child - Squirrel - Without the extra eyes and limbs, he is Sukuna’s absolute mini-me. He is outspoken and will stand his ground to literally anyone. He is into everything for the sheer sake of being into everything. He has absolutely no back down, no chill - just absolute chaos hidden behind chubby cheeks and a deceitfully angelic smile. In short, he is a walking middle finger. (I mentioned he is Sukuna’s Mini-me, right?)
Mouse was the one to give Monkey his nickname. It happened to be the very first time she met him.
“Hello baby! What’s his name, Mama?” Mouse leaned over to look at the baby. She had been asking for a name for weeks but you and Sukuna still had not decided.
“We still haven’t decided yet,” you smiled, exhausted after the events of the day. You laid there with Sukuna at your side, Mouse in his lap poking her baby brother gently as you held him in your arms. You felt whole and at peace.
Mouse giggled as the baby grabbed onto her finger and made small noises. “Hmmm… He grabbed my hand and he’s got a lotta hair! He’s got long fingers and big eyes! Like a monkey!”
Sukua chuckled, “You wanna call your little brother Monkey, huh?
Mouse grinned and nodded at him, “Yeah, he looks like a monkey! A very cute monkey!”
“Then that’s what we’ll call him” Sukuna grinned, kissing his daughter's head as he reached over another hand to run his thumb over his son’s small head.
“No, absolutely not.” you said firmly, not even entertaining that idea.
“Not for his legal name. I am not cruel to my own children. Just his nickname, like she is Mouse. He is Monkey.”
You sighed, and looked down at the baby in your arms who now had his older sister hovering over his face calling his nickname softly in a funny voice. You knew then that you had already lost this battle. At least she is using her indoor voice.
You closed your eyes and rested your head back on your pillows. You turned your head to face Sukuna and opened your eyes. You smirked at him and said, “It’s better than Precious Three, I guess.” Sukuna was never living that one down. (a throwback to Precious Two)
Monkey loves to learn. Anything. He just loves to learn. Because of the fact that he is calmer, quieter and a better listener than his sister, Uraume allows him to help her cook. He was about 3 the first time you came into the kitchen and saw Uraume and him making rice cakes together. Uraume paused the food preparation for just a moment. They met your gaze head on and said with a straight face, “We can keep this one.”
Monkey has a way with animals. Neither you nor Sukuna nor Uraume can explain it, but animals are just drawn to him. This includes other non human beings.
Monkey befriended a 5 tailed Kitsune taking refuge in a shaded corner of your yard. He kept sneaking outside to sleep with it. About the 4th time you had to go outside and get him you told the damn thing to just come inside. And that is how your sweet summer child got you to adopt a 500 year old yokai.
Welcome to the family, Tuna the kitsune! (Neither you nor Sukuna had any idea why they chose that name, but it was a unanimous decision among the 3 of them and that was miracle enough for you both to roll with it. Always choose your battles wisely.)
Squirrel is called squirrel because he makes giant leaps from well, everything, and is easily distracted.
It took exactly one time telling Squirrel to ask for things ‘nicely’ for that to become his version of ‘please and thank you.’ “Mama, up. Nicely!”
Squirrel who, as far as your two boys go, inherited all of his father’s agility has been caught numerous times trying to scale his way over the estate walls like a lizard.
Squirrel is obsessed with rhinoceros beetles and frogs. He regularly tries to smuggle them in to keep as pets.
You have watched this child stand physically toe to toe with his father, arms folded across his chest in an exact mirror of Sukuna, giving the giant man back his own mean mug more times than you can count. Obstinance, thy name is Squirrel.

“Where are we going, Papa?” Mouse asked as she walked holding her father’s pinky.
You couldn’t help but smile at the sight of them from behind. Your husband, 7’3”, shoulders almost as broad, 4 arms, mountain of a man walking with a pink hair little pixie dressed in an equally pink kimono and pink kutsu shoes, holding his little finger with her whole fist, skipping beside him.
She looked up at the man they called a monster like he hung to sun and moon. Like her Papa made the very stars themselves. Such a Papa’s Girl.
“We are going to a Hinamatsuri festival,” he answered.
“But what it for?” Mouse asked, curious as ever.
“It’s a festival to celebrate girls. This is the festival that will have kyoto-bina like the ones you got when you were born,” you further explained.
“You will not touch these ones either, Mouse,” Sukuna looked down at her with one of the eyes on the side of his face.
“I promise, Papa!” she gave a cheesy grin up at him. She looked behind and gave you the same grin. “Make sure Monkey knows not to touch it too, okay Mama?”
“Monkey, no touching anything,” you said, glancing down at the baby in a wrap on your chest.
He gave you a drooly grin. You smiled as you wiped his chubby little face. He definitely had his father’s features, including having 4 eyes (minus the bone deformation), but he had your hair and eye color.
You knew it was traditional to wear the baby on your back, but you felt better with him on your front. You were already used to people staring and gawking, so what was one more thing for them to look at if it was what made you feel comfortable? Besides, if he was on your back, you would miss out on the cute little faces he made as he discovered the world around him.
“Papa, what we do at the Hina-mad-sushi party?” Mouse paused to pick up a rock.
“It’s Hinamatsuri Festival. No more rocks, Mouse. That’s your 10th today,” Sukuna said with exasperation.
“But Papa, look!” she excitedly pointed out another rock and started to try to drag him towards it.
Sukuna let go of her hand and caught the back of her kimono as she instantly tried to flee, lifting her up into his arms. “We will see Momo in their first bloom and I will enjoy sake.”
“Why I no get sake?” Mouse asked, cocking her head slightly to the side.
“Because little girls cannot have alcohol.”
“But it girls day?” she replied, pressing her lips together as she looked into her father’s face.
“You’ll get plenty of sweets and treats,” you chimed in, distracting her from talk of sake.
Mouse squealed happily and hugged Sukuna’s neck before sitting back on his arm to grab his face in her hands. “Papa!”
“What now, Mouse?” You could tell he was dreading whatever the next question would be, but he held her gaze.
“What we gonna eat first?”
Sukuna grinned from ear to ear. “I think we shall start with hichigir i and then hishimoch i.”
“I want Sakura mochi!” Mouse cheered, throwing her hands in the air excitedly.
“We need to find some hina arare for Monkey too,” you reminded them.
Sukuna slowed slightly and shifted Mouse to his upper arm. He reached out the hand on his lower arm to tangle his fingers with yours. He glanced down at you with a soft gaze. “And ichigo daifuku for my precious one.”
The whole town was stunning in appearance as it came alive for the festival. Buildings were decorated in vibrant colors and there were delicious foods as far as the eyes could see. Mouse and Sukuna wasted not even a second before diving into the food options and eating their fill. You happily ate your ichigo daifuku and tried bites of everything they excitedly described to you and offered while Monkey slept against your chest.
After enjoying the food selections, Sukuna stated he needed to acquire something while you were in town. Knowing Mouse as you do, you knew that standing in place for any amount of time was akin to torture for your daughter. Not wanting to deal with a melt down in public, you looked around and found your destination.
Before you began walking, you adjusted the now awake and aware Monkey so that he was upright and could look around. Mouse and you both giggled at how all 4 of his eyes became as large as kozara as he took in the colors and people. It was sometimes startling just how intelligent his gaze was. He turned back and looked at you, cocking his head to the side for a moment and then giving you a giant drooly smile, placing an equally drool covered hand on your cheek.
“Thanks, Monkey,” you shook your head with a laugh, using a hankie you had tucked away to wipe your face.
“Him licked you with his hand!” Mouse giggled.
“That is definitely an interesting interpretation of what just happened.” Mouse came up with the most random things, never failing to make you smile.
“Can I do that to Papa?” she asked, taking your hand as you began to move.
“I would not recommend it.”
“What about Urau-rau?”
“Not if you want to live to see another day,” you snorted softly in amusement. Not even Sukuna would be able to stop Uraume in that situation. “Let’s go with not doing it to anyone.”
“Boooooring,” Mouse huffed and pretended to deflate. You really appreciated her father teaching her that word. Not.
You walked over to where the hinadan was set up, filled to the brim with beautiful, handcrafted Hina dolls. You and Mouse spent a good amount of time pointing out to each other different sets of dolls that caught your eyes while Monkey babbled and played with your hair.
Sukuna returned to your side, smirking when he saw Monkey was up. Monkey laughed happily when he saw his Papa and then hid his face in your chest like he was shy. Mouse, as per usual went running to Sukuna as fast as she could, laughing freely with her head thrown back as Sukuna caught her and put her on his shoulder.
“Papa made me big like him!” Mouse said, hugging Sukuna’s head. “Papa! Take us to the pretty flowers now, please and thank you!”
“Why should I?” he asked, turning his head slightly and the two eyes on deformed side of his face shifting up to look at her.
“Because it’s Girls Day. That means you have to listen to me,” she stated, ignoring his glare and pointing towards the bright flowers. “That way, Papa! Please and thank you!”
“Watch it, brat. I haven’t eaten in a long time,” he warned.
Your shoulders shook as you suppressed laughter as Sukuna headed in the direction Mouse had pointed. You followed behind listening to them go back and forth with a smile on your face. It only took about 10 feet for Sukuna to realize you were not trying to catch up. With an annoyed huff and an almost offended look on his face, he reached out his hand for yours and interlocked your fingers before he started walking again.
You were well aware that Sukuna would rather have his nose hairs ripped out individually than admit that holding your hand was as much for himself as it was for you. You did not protest his hold at all. You loved the simple act of holding his hand and it would be unfitting to have the King of Curses walking around pouting.
Your heart fluttered once again at the wonderful feeling of knowing that your husband needed and craved your touch just as badly and constantly as you did his. You gave his hand a squeeze and smiled up at him as you began to keep pace with him.
The orchard filled with blossoming peach trees was a breathtaking sight. The bright pink and white blossoms covered the branches of trees as far as the eye could see. The sky and clear blue sky were the perfect backdrop. It was peaceful. Serene. Not unlike the garden at your home. Maybe you could convince Sukuna to let you plant some of these
You looked up at Sukuna and smiled as he put a fallen blossom behind Mouse’s ear, making her giggle and hug his head again. Another blossom fell and Mouse managed to catch it in her hands. She giggled and pointed at you. “Papa, Mama needs one! This one! Put it in her hair too, please and thank you!”
You chuckled as he gave a dejected sigh and did as she said. But the gentleness in his eyes and the way he brushed his thumb over your cheek before he cupped it showed just how wholly it was drivel. He was just as madly in love as you were, even after all these years, and you knee it. He looked at your lips and softly said your name followed by the word, “Beautiful.”
“You better knock it off. We are in public and with our children,” you said, blushing.
“I think it’s time we left,” he smirked at you, his eyes had a heat in them as he looked at your lips again.
As if on queue, Mouse let out a loud yawn and leaned against her father’s head, wrapping her arms around his throat. Though still awake you could hear the tired whine setting into her voice. “I not ready to go.. I just rest here, please and thank you, Papa?”
Sukuna pulled her off his shoulder, ignoring the noise of protest she made so he could hold her in his arms more easily if she fell asleep. “It’s time to head home, Mouse. We’ve got a long walk to go.”
“I too tired, Papa. My feet will fall off. Let's just stay here, please and thank you, Papa,” Mouse tried a different angle, cuddling into the warmth and strength of her father and looking up at him with giant pleading eyes.
“If your feet fall off… Does that mean I can eat them?” Sukuna flashed his sharp teeth and tickled her leg with his long nails.
“No, Papa! Don’t eat my toes!” Mouse giggled, kicking her feet. She fisted the material of his kimono in her hands and buried her face in it.
You couldn’t help but be amused at the horrified looks of the judgemental peasants standing within hearing range of you all. They knew who Sukuna was, and the fools were unsure if it was a joke or a threat. Which was honestly fair with your husband’s history, diet and proclivities.
The judgement and staring had started the moment you all arrived and you were well aware that their narrowed gazes would trail after you until your forms disappeared from their line of sight. After several years with Sukuna, their whispers no longer sounded like screams. Now it sounded more akin to bugs buzzing in the summer heat. A truly fitting analogy for the gossiping gussies.
The moon was high in the sky but the time Mouse and Monkey were both asleep. Tuna, as per usual, crashed out with them held hostage in Mouse’s arms. Uraume doing whatever it was Uraume did. You and Sukuna went to sit on the engawa for a few moments alone. He set aside his tea and pulled you closer to him so he could wrap his arms around you. Another hand turned up your chin and he kissed you several times before pulling away.
You pouted at his retreat until he pulled a package out from the hidden pocket inside his black haori. You cocked your head to the side as he set it in your hands. “What’s this?”
“If you open it you will answer your own question, precious one,” he said in a teasing tone, kissing your cheek before leaning backwards and resting on the palms of his bottom two hands.
With a bemused look on your face you carefully unwrapped the package. Your jaw fell open and your eyes filled with tears. Sukuna was truly such a thoughtful person to those he loved…
You had smiled as you placed the Hina dolls Sukuna had bought for Mouse on the hindan. Their beautiful and ornately embroidered clothing was unlike anything you had ever seen.. “These are perfect. Mouse is going to love them. I only wish I had my own to add here with hers like many families do.”
“Did you never have them?” Sukuna had asked, learning against the wall, arms crossed and watching you.
“I did. The empress was adorned in greens and black with a beautiful silver Fengguan while the emperor was the opposite with a silver Ritsuiōkan to match his wife,” you remembered fondly. “The night they killed my parents and burned my home to the ground my dolls were destroyed. I am glad we will never allow something like this to happen to our Mouse.”
The dolls in your hand were so similar to the ones you had had in your youth, but honestly they were even more beautiful and more ornate. They were truly stunning. The empress’s Jūnihitoe was rich shades of green while her kimono and hakama were black. She had a beautiful silver fengguan with several small black and green stones in it. The emperor’s ikkan sokutai was a rich green with black designs embroidered on it like a pattern and a Ritsuiōkanthat matched his wife’s.
Sukuna’s thoughtfulness once again had your heart going into overdrive. You set the dolls aside, giving him a little grin before launching yourself at him, catching him off guard and managing to take him down. You grinned as he laid flat against the engawa on his back beneath you as you sat now straddling his hips. You leaned over and nipped at his bottom lip.
His large hands moved to your hips, pressing you down against him. He gave you a lazy, cocky grin. “I take it I did well?”
You looked down at him, one hand braced on his broad, muscular chest. The other hand reached up and removed the comb from your hair, letting it fall down freely around you. You placed that hand on his chest as when you finished and sucked in your lower lip. You leaned down and ghosted a kiss across his lips before nipping and pulling at his bottom lip again. You felt his hands gripping you firmer as they moved further back to grope your rear.
You pressed a kiss to the shell of his ear. “What do you think?”
In less time than it took to blink, you found yourself now flat on your back staring up into your husband’s handsome face. His hands moved to the belt on his robe as he took you in, sliding it off his shoulders as you took your time blatantly checking him out. He still wore his hakama pants, but your hands eagerly and greedily reached out to touch his tanned, contoured flesh.
“I think I did well,” he said, leaning lower. His mouth went straight to your throat, mouthing up the column of your neck and sucking marks into your flesh as he went until he reached your ear. He nipped and tugged at the bottom lobe, enjoying the small noise you couldn’t hold back.
“But I am not finished yet, far from it. I’ve got something else to give to you too, precious one. So just sit back…” His mouth moved to your neck and you felt his teeth drag down your skin. “Just sit back, my precious one, and relax. Just take what I give you.”
And that was exactly what you did.

Dango and Dragons
Hey hey everyone! Its been far too long since I shared some new Daddy Duty content regularly, so here you go! I give to you all this silly little story about Dad!Sukuna and Mouse
If you prefer to read it on AO3 click here !
WC: 1800+
Summary: To distract the toddler climbing the walls in her father's absence, Reader and Mouse decide to have a picnic. They are pleasantly surprised by the duo's return and a gift Sukuna bought for Mouse (and Uraume).
AN: To anyone new to my Daddy Duty series- Mouse is Sukuna's two year old daughter. Welcome to Mouse's Mini-verse!
Quick note about a couple of terms used in story: Shiroshi = what kites were called durin the Heian era. It translates into basically 'paper bird' Takoge = kite flying festival (along with kite flying they also sometimes included a night parade and kite battles!)
CW: Reader is not described but referred to as Mama, reader is pregnant, there are several suggestive comments made between reader and Sukuna (they are lowkey obsessed with each other- but it's okay- they are married, your honor), family fluff
You smiled as you carried the basket full of food and snacks with one hand as Mouse held onto the other. She was happily singing a song she made up as she went, pausing occasionally to look at something or ask you a question.
Sukuna and Uraume had been gone for several days and Mouse was climbing the walls. The weather was nice and you had no obligations to attend to. It seemed like the perfect day to go for a picnic.
The two of you had spent the morning making and packing up a basket full of your favorite things, including extras of everything as Mouse had insisted, stating that the other two members of your family could be back at any time and they would probably be hungry too. You smiled and happily agreed. Whatever was not eaten now could be eaten later. Waste not want not!
The two of you had just finished laying out the blanket and setting out little plates of the food when Mouse shot upright and looked towards the horizon. She rushed to the basket and grabbed out a cookie for each hand. You were about to ask her what she was doing when two figures came into view. One a great deal larger and broader than the other.
Her abilities to sense her father were even more attuned than yours were. You smiled as she got excited. She waited, bouncing back and forth between her feet. She knew the rules. Until Papa said it was okay to come to him, she had to stay by Mama. It was for her safety and she knew that, but she could only muster so much patience at 2 years old.
“Mama! I think he walking too slow,” Mouse almost growled at you as she squatted down cookies still safely clutched in her tiny hands. “I gonna fix it.”
“And how are you going to fix that?” You asked, amused and curious just what she thought she could do to ‘fix’ the speed at which her father was walking.
“Like this,” she said, standing up. She carefully set the cookies down on the blanket and cupped her hands around her mouth. She proceeded to yell at the top of her lungs, “Faster, Papa! Please and thank you!”
You choked down a laugh, covering your mouth with your hands. “You think he heard you?”
“Don’t seem it,” she pressed her lips together in a frown and called again. “I said FASTER PLEASE AND THANK YOU, PAPA!”
“Why should I?” Sukuna’s voice called back, you could hear the amusement in his tone from where you sat and it made you smile.
“You taking too long!” She called back.
“Then you come to me, brat!”
She snatched up the cookies and took off running at the speed of light towards him. “I coming, Papa! I bringing cookies, Papa!”
You watched as he handed something to Uraume as Mouse approached and he grabbed her up into his arms. You were impressed with Mouse’s hold on the cookies as her father tossed her laughing form up into the air and caught her.
You couldn’t hear the exchange from the distance they were still at, but just the sight of the three of them walking towards you was enough to make your heart swell with love. Mouse, Sukuna and Uraume- your beautiful little family. Your everything.
You rose to your feet to greet them as they drew near. Sukuna set Mouse down as Uraume moved to set the things they were holding by the picnic basket. Mouse was happily telling Uraume about all the goodies you had brought with you. Sukuna’s eyes, however, were on you and you alone.
He pulled you closer with an arm around your waist and gave you several soft kisses. “Miss me, precious one?”
“A little,” you teased, cupping his face and kissing him again.
“I missed you a lot, Papa!” Mouse said, plopping down on the blanket and taking a bite of a cookie. She looked at Uraume and said, “I missed you too, Urau-rau. You cook better than Mama.”
You sputtered even though you knew it was the truth. “What was that?”
She turned towards you and gave you a giant smile before saying in a comforting tone, “It okay, Mama. You tried.”
While a part of you wanted to wipe the smirk off Uraume's face, a larger part of you was looking forward to a little alone time with a certain someone’s Papa. You and Mouse both being on Uraume’s good side would make things a lot easier to negotiate.
“Uraume is a very good cook,” you agreed, sitting down as Sukuna did as well.
“You just want me to watch her tonight,” Uraume said in a soft tone, shooting you a side glare.
“I do! You know me so well!” You agreed, giving them a wink. “But you are a good cook.”
Mouse started emptying out the basket, personally hand delivering the treats to each person. She grabbed a skewer of dango in either hand before moving to plop down in Sukuna’s lap, leaning her back against him. She grinned up at him and held up one of the skewers. “Want some, Papa?”
“I have my own, brat. Those are yours,” he said, ruffling her hair with a free hand while he smirked down at her. He wouldn’t say it out loud, but you could see by the look in his eyes and the way his fingers combed through her hair just how much he had missed her. How much he loved her. It made you tear up a little. Damn these pregnancy hormones.
“What brought home, Papa?” Mouse asked, using the dango in one hand to gesture towards the parcels Uraume had set down.
“Why? You think there is something there for you?” He asked, eating one of the cookies Mouse had given him.
“Yes,” she said with a grin.
“What makes you think you deserve it? Hmm?” he asked, poking her chubby little belly with his finger, making her giggle up at him.
“I been good. Please and thank you, Papa!”
“Have you though?”
“She has been,” you replied. “She has been a big helper the whole time you were gone.”
“I take good care of Mama, Papa!” she chirped up at him as she finished her snacks in record time.
“Alright… Uraume, give it to me,” Sukuna instructed, eating another cookie.
Uraume set aside their snacks and grabbed the securely wrapped package and brought it to Sukuna. He used two hands to help Mouse unwrap it. Together they reveal a beautiful, brightly colored shiroshi. The diamond shaped bamboo frame held together a stunning fabric that depicted the image of a red dragon with bright blues and yellows behind it.
“What this Papa?” Mouse asked.
“It is called a shiroshi. It flies in the sky in the wind,” he explained.
“It windy! We do it now, please and thank you, Papa!” she looked up at him excitedly, her chubby hands laying lovingly on the material.
“I don’t know…” he drawled out.
“Don’t be a tease. Go on and show us your skills, King of Curses,” you teased with a smirk.
“Oh, I’ll show you my skills alright,” he said in a low tone, smirking right back at you.
“With the shiroshi,” you rolled your eyes even as your heart fluttered at his blatant flirting. Still got it!
“Yeah, Papa! Show meeeee!” Mouse said, trying to wiggle out of his hold.
“Uraume, would you do the honors?” Sukuna asked, cocking his head.
Uraume’s eyes got big and they hurried to swallow the food they were chewing. “You want… me to fly it, Master Sukuna?”
“That’s what I said, isn’t it. I mean, you are the one who picked it out…” Sukuna shrugged.
“Urau-rau, you pick it for me?” Mouse’s face lit up.
“I merely pointed them out,” Uraume answered. “But if it would please you, Master Sukuna, I will be happy to.”
Sukuna moved the shiroshi so that Mouse scrambled off of his lap. She bolted to Uraume’s side. She hugged their arm, looking up at them with a big, toothy grin. “Thank you, Urau-rau!! Lets go fly it now, please and thank you!”
Uraume sighed and rolled their eyes, feigning annoyance even as their eyes softened just the slightest bit and the smallest smile ghosted on their lips. They moved to stand, taking the large object from Sukuna’s outstretched hand and walking a bit away with Mouse in tow, skippin beside them.
Sukuna took advantage and moved to sit beside you. He wrapped two arms around you and pulled you close, one large hand holding your shoulder, the other moved lower to splay and rest over your slightly distended belly. The thumbs on both hands immediately began mindlessly tracing a pattern. He kissed the top of your head as you laid it on his broad shoulder.
You reached over to take one of his other hands, locking your fingers together and bringing them to your lips. You placed a gentle kiss on his knuckles before lowering your hands to rest idly, fingers still locked.
You smiled as you watched Uraume battling the wind and Mouse before getting the shiroshi flying high in the sky. They held onto the rope, concerned the wind would be too strong for Mouse’s hold. It was an adorable sight to see, and even from here you could see the enjoyment on Uraume’s face.
“During our travels, when Uraume was a child, we came upon a Takoage festival. They have never really asked for anything, you know this about them, but I could see the enjoyment in their eyes as they watched the shiroshi soar above our heads. We stayed for the duration of the festival. The next day I bought them one, and they spent hours… and hours flying it. I threatened to dismantle the damn thing if they didn’t set it down to fulfil their duties and train,” Sukuna recounted to you, a small smile on his face as he watched them.
“Really? Huh,” you said, taking it in and imagining it with a smile on your face. “Admit it… you just wanted to take a turn flying it, huh?”
“If I had wanted to take a turn, I would have take a damn turn,” he grumbled, causing you to chuckle.
“Mama! Papa! Look! We gots a real dragon! It flying! It going WOOOOOOSH!” Mouse called, spreading her arms wide and running in circles around Uraume, imitating a dragon in flight.
“Be careful or it might get you!” you teasingly called out.
“Silly Mama! It not a real dragon, it no eat me!” Mouse’s laughter carried as easily on the wind as the shiroshi flying high above her head.
Sukuna relaxed against the tree behind him, fully at peace. How could he not be? The weather was nice. The snacks were delicious. His beloved was in his arms and his daughter was happily harassing his disciple just a few yards away. Soon there would be another welp causing mayhem alongside their sister. He couldn’t wait.

Mouse's Best Friend
Welcome back to another adventure in Mouse's Mini-verse! This time the family has gotten bigger, but it's not baby #2 just yet!
If you prefer to read it on AO3 click here !
WC: 1000+
Summary: Sukuna comes home after a week away to find his daughter has a new best friend and his household has grown in size.
AN: To anyone new to my Daddy Duty series- Mouse is Sukuna's two year old daughter. Welcome to Mouse's Mini-verse!
CW: Reader called Mama but not described, family fluff, toddler hijinks, Mouse and reader adopt a yokai, mentioned that reader is pregnant
“What is that doing here?” Sukuna’s voice held an edge of accusation in its firmness as he came out onto the engawa.
“Welcome home, my love. And I am assuming you are referring to your daughter’s new best friend. Sukuna, meet Tuna,” you said, sipping your warm tea smiling as you watched your daughter playing happily in the yard.
“That is not a friend. That is a yokai. It’s a damn kitsune,” Sukuna said, sitting down next to you and crossing all 4 arms. He had all 4 eyes fixed on his perceived opponent and his jaw was clenched shut.
“I am well aware of what he is,” you said with a roll of your eyes. You knew a week ago when you told the beast to come inside that Sukuna would have this exact reaction to it. But like usual, you did not let that stop you from doing what you wanted.
“How did this even come about?” he asked, face still pinched in displeasure.
“Mouse.”
“I had already assumed that. I was hoping for a bit more information exchange before I have Uraume make me a kitsune snack.”
“If either of you touch a hair on that creature’s head I will make you wish you were dead,” you narrowed your eyes on your husband’s giant form.
He glanced down into your face and saw your determination, coupled with your pregnancy hormones he knew exactly how this was going to go. Certain that in your current mood, you would make good on your threat, he gave a loud, disgust filled exhale. “Answer my question, precious one. How did we acquire a new, apparently useless, member of this household?”
You grinned at him and rubbed your distended belly. “Mouse kept sneaking out to the yard at night while you were gone. About the 3rd night in a row that I had to go out there and carry her back inside I told the damn thing to get in the house.”
“Did she stop sleeping outside?” he asked with an arched eyebrow.
You gave him a droll stare. “What do you think?”
Sukuna snorted in amusement. She was so much like you. Both hell bent on getting your way once your mind was made up. “Alright, next question.”
“Hmm?”
“Do you know why it was in the yard to begin with?” Sukuna questioned.
“I asked if she knew where it came from and she said one day she saw it on the fence and got it to jump down and play with her. She told it he could stay and that’s when she began feeding it and trying to keep him warm in the yard,” you said with a smile as you spoke about your sweet girl.
“Papa!!! You came home!!! We comin’ Papa!! Wait right there, please and thank you!” Mouse finally spotted him from across the yard and started jumping up and down squealing in excitement. She leaned down and scooped up her new ‘best friend’ in her arms. “Come on, Tuna! We go see my Papa!”
Sukuna took note of the way the white fox demon with swirling red markings was so placid in his daughter’s arms. He counted tails while Mouse made her approach. 5 tails. The damn thing was 500 years old and sporting one of Mouse’s small kanzashi in the tuft of fur on the top of his head.
The creature seemed completely and utterly unphased by its imprisonment in the arms of the toddler from hell. Though, judging by the size of its belly and the way Mouse kept kissing it’s head and whispering to it while she walked, this thing was living a life of pampered luxury.
Ridiculous did not begin to even describe this… situation. He should have expected that the two of you wouldn’t be satisfied with something as mundane as a cat or a goldfish.
“Why the hell did you name it Tuna?” Sukuna couldn’t keep the amusement out of his voice at how ridiculous it was to be calling a 500 year old yokai the stupid name.
“It’s him’s favorite food. So I call him Tuna so I can’t forget he likes Tuna,” she grinned at him like it was the most genius idea in the world. She unceremoniously plopped the creature in question down on his lap. “Tuna, meet Papa! Papa, this is Tuna. He’s my best friend.”
Sukuna picked the white furred creature up by the scruff of its neck and dangled it in front of his face, sizing it up and letting it feel a taste of his power. He sensed no trickery or magic coming from the creature.
Mouse’s hand shot up to pat it on the back in a comforting gesture. “It okay, Tuna! Don’t be scared! Papa not going to eat you. He holds me up just like that too!”
“You protect her or you’ll be dinner. Got it, furball?” Sukuna narrowed his eyes on it when it had the audacity to yawn in his face in response.
“No! Bad Papa!” Mouse scolded, shaking a finger at him just like you did when scolding her.
“Excuse me?” The brat was fearless. Sukuna was convinced his daughter was going to be able to conquer the world with only her obstinance and audacity.
“Really, Suk?,” you huffed, your movements jerked with annoyance as you took the beast from his hand and returned it to your daughter’s waiting arms. You watched her head off to play with her friend on the opposite side of the yard.
Sukuna put an arm around your shoulder and pulled you close. Another hand gently turned up your chin so you were looking in his gaze. “All I’m going to say is… Tuna is a stupid fucking name.”
“You know what else is a stupid fucking name?” You asked with a cheeky grin.
“Are you planning to say precious two?” he said with no amusement.
“It's scientific proof that it’s from you that she gets her horrible naming genetics.” He scoffed and let go of your chin to look away. You smirked and grabbed your tea, taking another sip. “Indisputable, scientific proof.”
“When are you going to let that go?” Sukuna gave you a grumpy side eye.
You set down your drink and laughed. You tilted your chin up, and tugged lightly on your husband’s haori sleeve so he would lean his head down to meet your lips. You cupped his face and kissed him gently 3 times before you pulled back and replied with a shit eating grin, “Never.”

If you prefer to read it on AO3 click here !
WC: 1013
Summary: Just a silly little short I had in my head of Sukuna vs Mouse over the last cookie. Sukuna talks tough, but he is an absolute softie for his little minx.
AN: To anyone new to my Daddy Duty series- Mouse is Sukuna's two year old daughter. Welcome to Mouse's Mini-verse!
CW: none really? reader is called Mama but not described, canon typical Sukuna threats of violence, not canon, Family fluff, girl dad sukuna, reader just loves to get her little jabs in at her hubby, Sukuna would never actually hurt Mouse they are playing around and I promise she is not even a little scared of him
Sukuna narrowed his eyes on his target, leaning in closer. “I have killed people for less. I could squash your head with one of my hands.”
“I’d like to see you try,” Mouse shot back with her hands on her hips.
“What? You think you could take me?” he asked moving to stand and tower over the mouthy miniature version of you.
“No,” she laughed up at him and smirked. “But I has a secret weapon, Papa!”
“Oh, do you?”
“Yeah! You have Hiten and Kamuto-to-”
“Kamutoke,” he corrected her, though he was impressed she got that close.
“Whatever you say it-”
“However you say it,” Sukuna corrected. Your attitude just kept coming out of your daughter’s mouth…
“Papa, I talk now, please and thank you?” Mouse asked. He was not sure if she was asking or throwing an attitude. With your genetics it was probably both. No… it was definitely both.
“You better be getting out that secret weapon, Mouse,” he said, squaring up and watching her start to laugh. That child held not even a smidge of fear of him.
She giggled and turned to run to the door. He thought she would fetch a broom, or a pillow, maybe even one of her shoes. But no. She was his daughter through and through and she went for the absolute most lethal weapon at her disposal. “Maaaaammmaaaaaa!”
“You little shit,” he laughed, snatching her up and hanging her upside down by one ankle.
She laughed and called for you again, her laughter turning hysterical when Sukuna poked her chubby little belly twice before you came into the room.
“What on earth is going on here?” you asked, hands on your hips, unsure what to make of the sight before you. While not unfamiliar, it was still not expected. You had only left them alone maybe 5 minutes ago to make more tea.
“Save me, Mama!! Save me, please and thank you!” Mouse laughed, reaching out to you.
You gave a fake sound of annoyance and held up your arms for Sukuna to give her to you. You kissed her head once she was in your arms. “So, what was that all about?”
“Mama is my seeket weapon!” Mouse told you, snuggling in under your chin.
“Why do you need a weapon?” you asked, arching an eyebrow at your husband.
“Papa said he gonna bug me!”
“Bug you? Bug you?” Sukuna sputtered.
“What does that mean? Going to bug you?” You asked with a little chuckle, wondering what on earth she was trying to say. You were fairly certain she did not mean annoy, though your husband was definitely an expert in that art.
“Gonna mosh me like a bug! Gonna bug me!” she said.
You sputtered at her answer, trying not to lose it. “Oh.”
“I said I could squash your head, not that I was going to squash you like a bug,” Sukuna corrected with all 4 eyes rolling.
“Is that supposed to be better?” you asked, raising your eyebrows as you looked up at your husband. You shook your head. “Why were you threatening our daughter?”
“I took the last cookie,” Mouse answered.
You gasped. “Mouse! How could you!”
“With my hands. Then I ate it with my mouth. That’s how, Mama!” Mouse answered, giving you a look like she thought you were stupid.
“You threatened our daughter over a cookie?”
“Not threatened, just advised her of the capabilities of her Papa,” Sukuna clarified.
“Papa the strongest, I already know that!” she told him, now looking at him like he was the one who lacked common sense.
“You’re damn right,” he smirked at her.
“Yup! Papa is the strongest!” you said, hugging her a little closer and looking up at your husband and batting your eyelashes. “The strongest bug mosher in history!”
Mouse let out a high pitched squealing laugh when Sukuna moved like he was going to tackle you guys where you stood “Run, please and thank you, Mama! Run!”
Sukuna watched as you held onto Mouse and took off running, both of you laughing the whole way as you headed towards your bedroom. He smiled to himself as he listened to the sounds of happiness echoing through the once quiet halls of his estate. These loud, messy, silly, nonsensical, chaotic days were truly the best days of his life.
“Papa!” Mouse’s head peaked around the corner of the wall getting his attention.
“Hmmm?” he asked her.
“Not coming to get us?” she asked, leaning her head to the side. Her eyes got big and she smiled, running to his side. She grabbed onto one of his hands, jumping up and down, pulling. “Papa! Come here! I have an idea!”
He picked her up by the back of her outfit and settled her in his arms. He looked down at her. “What is your idea, Mouse?”
“Lets get Mama together, please and thank you Papa!” she grinned.
“Oh, you want to team up with me now?” he asked with a hint of a mocking tone that went over her little pink head.
She hugged his neck and pressed a kiss to his cheek giggling. “Yeah! Papa’s my not so seeket weapon! Let's go get Mama!”
Not so secret weapon? He supposed he could live with that, he was much larger than you after all. Harder to hide. It made sense. However, there was the matter of the situation that started all of this… “I don’t know, Mouse… you did eat the last cookie…”
“I very sorry, Papa,” she said without any hint of remorse in her features. She was already turned away and pointing after the direction you had run. “There Papa! There! Please and thank you!”
He sighed and headed after you. “Next time you even reach for the last cookie I’m going to bite you.”
“I bite you first, Papa.”
“Oh, you think so?” he asked incredulously.
“Mmmhmm! Because I papa’s girl!”
He grinned from ear to ear and kissed the side of her head. “You’re damn right. You will always Papa’s girl. Now, lets go get Mama.”

A Big Uh-Oh
Hey hey everyone! Its been far too long since I shared some new Daddy Duty content regularly, so here you go! I give to you all this silly little story about Dad!Sukuna and Mouse
If you prefer to read it on AO3 click here !
WC: 800+
Summary: Mouse gets injured when trying to hide. But just what was she hiding from?
AN: To anyone new to my Daddy Duty series- Mouse is Sukuna's two year old daughter. Welcome to Mouse's Mini-verse!
CW: Non-descript injury, mention of reader being pregnant, reader called Mama but not described, family fluff, toddler hijinks
A shrill screech pierced the otherwise calm of your home causing you and Sukuna to both race towards the sound. He moved far faster than you, getting there first. His little thief had closed her hand in the cabinet door.
“Mouse! You know better!” Sukuna scolded as he took her hand to see the injury.
“I sorry Papa!” Mouse wailed, sticking out her bottom lip as tears streaked down her chubby face. She sniffled while he examined her hand and looked at you, her other hand tangled in the fabric of her father’s black haori. “Papa kiss it?”
“Yes, Papa will kiss it,” you said, stroking hair back from her face.
He sighed at what he felt was theatrics but one look into those giant eyes and he was putting her little hand to his lips. He used his RCT and healed her hand. “There. Now cease the crying.”
“Kissed it fixed it,” Mouse said, calming herself a little. She turned in his arms, cupping his face with her hands and kissed his nose. Still sniffling, she snuggled into him, head under his chin like she had done since birth. Her safe place. “Please and thank you, Papa.”
“You only need to say one or the other,” Sukuna told her. He sighed and looked at you, “Wasn’t that exciting?”
You looked at him, blinking back tears. “I thought she was right behind me. I swore Mouse was with me.”
He looked at you with confusion, unsure why you were upset. Realization dawned on him. He tsked before standing up, pulling you to his other side as he scooped Mouse up in his arms. “It’s not your fault that our daughter cannot be contained. Accidents and injuries are going to occur. And when Mouse gets hurt she knows to find us and–”
“And Papa will kiss it fix it,” she said with a smile, reaching out a hand towards you.
With one arm wrapped around Sukuna’s back and the other holding your daughter's hand. You took a deep breath and let out the tension that had stiffened your entire form. Mouse was okay. Mouse was okay. Mouse was-
“WHO DID THIS?!” Uraume’s voice said in absolute fury from behind Sukuna.
Sukuna turned with Mouse while you peaked around his side. Your jaw dropped at the scene you had somehow missed. Ingredients were strewn about the kitchen and flour dumped on the floor.
Sukuna looked down at Mouse. “Mouse… what were you trying to get out of the cupboard?”
“I not trying to take anything, Papa,” she answered quickly.
“Were you trying to put something inside?” Sukuna asked, arching an eyebrow.
“Yes, Papa! I trying to put me inside!” She nodded.
“Why were you trying to get inside the cupboard?” You asked, narrowing your eyes at her.
She sat up in Sukuna’s arms and pointed to the mess before bringing her hands up to her cheeks, as if in shock, and dramatically gasped, “Uh oh!”
“Yeah, Uh-oh. BIG uh oh!” Sukuna said as he took in the scene of the crime while Uraume glowered across the room. If looks could kill…
“Mouse… do you have something to say to Uraume?” you asked her, giving her a stern look.
She tucked her head back under Sukuna’s chin. “I sorry, Urau-rau.”
“Just go,” Uraume sighed as they grabbed the broom.
“Come, let's head to the gardens so you can burn off some energy, brat,” Sukuna said as the three of you left the kitchen to the sounds of Uraume plotting murder under their breath. Sukuna set Mouse down and she ran ahead.
You glanced up at him, “You don't think Uraume will poison our food, do you?
Sukuna laughed, throwing an arm around you and pulling you closer while you followed your little pink haired criminal down the hall.
“I doubt it. But then again…”
You looked up and saw his smirk. That damn dimple and mischief in his eyes, suppressing laughter at your concern. You shook your head and sighed. “You're so very reassuring, my love.”
“You shouldn't need reassurance. Daft woman. As if I would ever let anything happen to you,” he leaned down quickly and gave you a peck.
“What about Mouse?” You teased
“Ehhhh I don't know… I mean, It's not like we didn't already make another one…”
“You're incorrigible,” you laughed, thumping his chest with your fist.
Sukuna's hand moved to rest over your belly that was getting bigger everyday. He kissed the top of your head. “As if you don't know damn well that I would happily burn down all of civilization to protect what is mine.”
You had no doubts he meant what he said. He always did. And when it came to his family… well may the Gods take mercy on anyone who tried to harm his family because Sukuna damn sure wouldn't.
You couldn't help but find that side of him sexy. He was a walking calamity. But he was yours.

Uraume's Revenge
Hey hey everyone! Welcome back to another adventure in Mouse's Mini-verse! This time we get a glimpse into an hour in the life of Uraume! (Just think, the Poor thing as 24 of these things in a day! 🤣)
If you prefer to read it on AO3 click here !
WC: 1000+
Summary: After their plans for putting away the laundry are foiled, Uraume delights in the chance for a little playful 'payback' for Mouse's mischievous ways
AN: To anyone new to my Daddy Duty series- Mouse is Sukuna's two year old daughter. Welcome to Mouse's Mini-verse!
CW: Reader called Mama but not described, family fluff, toddler hijinks, Uraume and Mouse interaction centric, they/them Uraume, reader is only mentioned this time, its just fluff and humor, Sukuna is such a DILF
Uraume put their hands on their hips and sighed as they looked at the mess they had found. They had stepped away from the basket of clean linen for mere moments… And now the sheets it had contained lay strewn all about with neither basket nor laundry saboteur anywhere within eyesight of the scene of the crime.
Shaking their head and grumbling to themselves about how much work children were, they set to work gathering up the sheets in their arms before setting off to find the basket. They were unsurprised when they found the stolen basket in Sukuna’s and your bedroom. Mouse dragged all manner of illicitly gotten goods back there to hide it. The little rodent was cunning enough to realize her own room would be the first place people looked for missing items and her father’s room would be the absolute last.
None of them, Mouse included, were going to survive her teenage years at this rate. They shivered as an intrusive thought slid into their mind. And soon there will be TWO of them… With yet another forlorn sigh they tossed the load in their arms into the basket.
A mischievous little giggle bubbled up from seemingly nowhere. Uraume straightened up and narrowed their eyes. They headed towards the closet. “Mouse! I heard you! Are you in here?”
The only response was another giggle. This went on for one or two more suspected location checks before Uraume knew for certain their instincts had been right from the start. The grubby handed little monster was hiding inside the wicker basket.
Uraume let a sinister grin curl their lips as an idea struck their mind. Just… a little payback. Before they could think wiser of it or change their mind, they bolted forward and snatched onto the sides of the basket. They shook and rocked it suddenly and vigorously before loudly saying, “Earthquake!!!!”
Mouse let out a shrill almost ear piercing scream before letting out a loud string of laughter. The demon seed popped up like a meerkat, shoving blankets off of her as she stood. “Urau-rau!! You got me!!”
“You deserved it, you little thief!” Uraume said, poking her in the nose.
To Uraume’s disbelief Mouse sat back down in the basket, held onto the sides and began to cheer while still laughing, “Again, Urau-rau! Again!! Earthquake again, please and thank you!!”
In what Uraume would later claim was a ‘momentary lapse in their disdain for the child,’ they gave in and grabbed onto the sides, once again shaking it and yelling, “Earthquake!!!!!”
“What’s going on in here?” Sukuna’s deep voice held a hint of amusement in it as it cut through the ruckus from across the room where he stood leaning against the open door.
He had come down the hallway to investigate Uraume’s yelling and Mouse’s high pitched squeals. He had been concerned that his white haired companion had finally given in to their threats of toddler tenderloin, only to find Uraume actually playing with Mouse.
Uraume dropped to one knee and bowed their head. “I apologize, Master Sukuna. I was doing the laundry when-”
Mouse chose that moment to spring upright and join the conversation. “We playing Earthquake, Papa! Get in, please and thank you!”
“Mouse - you really think I am going to fit in there?” Sukuna chortled.
She looked around the inside of the basket and scratched her head. “Maybe not.”
“Definitely not,” he echoed her.
Mouse turned and looked at Uraume. She reached over the basket to tap on the kneeling servant’s shoulder. “Excuse me, please and thank you, Urau-rau. Does we got a basket big enough for Papa so he can play Earthquake too?”
“We do not,” Uraume said, looking at Sukuna, eyes now pleading to be saved.
“I got an idea!” Mouse said with breathy excitement. She began to try and clamber out of the basket, needing to be saved from falling over and then helped out of the basket onto steady ground by the annoyance filled Uraume next to her. “Thank you, Urau-rau!”
She leaned into the basket and began pulling out the linen. “Come get one, please and thank you, Papa!”
“What are you doing?” Uraume growled. “I just washed those!”
“It’s okay, Urau-rau. We no get them dirty, I promise!” Mouse smiled.
“And just what are we going to do with these?” Sukuna said after crossing the room to humor his daughter and accepting the sheet.
“We gonna put it on our heads! And we gonna go find Mama!” Mouse said in a loud whisper with a devious grin on her face.”We gonna go ‘booooooo!’”
“That is not going to go over well with your mother or Uraume,” Sukuna said, not even wanting to fight that battle, he had lost enough of them around here lately. He tossed the sheet into the basket and grabbed his petulant faced child up by the back of her outfit before settling her in his arms. “We will be leaving now, Uraume. Come, Mouse, let's go find your mother.”
The basket, sheets and scaring you now completely forgotten, she made a happy noise and clapped. “Yeah! Let's go shopping, Papa!”
Uraume let out a soft chuckle as they began to put the sheets away. Maybe little Mouse wasn’t that bad.
“Is there something you want to buy, brat?” Sukuna asked as they walked away.
“Uh huh! A basket big enough so Papa can play Earthquake too! Lets by that, please and thank you, Papa!” Mouse happily told him.
I take it back. She is that bad.
Sukuna’s voice was filled with mirth as it carried down the hallway after him and Uraume could clearly imagine the grin on his face as he spoke, “That’s a great idea, Mouse! Your mother loves to shop and I am certain Uraume will appreciate your thoughtfulness!”
He’s worse… Like father, like daughter, I guess. Uraume smiled and shook their head as they stood with the now full basket in their hands and headed towards the linen closet to finally put these things away as they had started trying to do close to an hour ago. There was never a dull moment when serving the King of Curses and his family. Not one.

Wake Up, Miss Moon
Hey, howdy everyone! The writers block and life have both been a real pain in the ass lately, but I got a little bit of inspiration and a little bit of a break tonight.
And so, I give to thee this little imagine about Dad!Sukuna and Mouse
If you prefer to read it on AO3 click here !
WC: 1208
Summary: Just a little imagine about Dad!Sukuna and his little family having a small celebration for the second night of Otsukimi.
AN: To anyone new to my Daddy Duty series- Mouse is Sukuna's two year old daughter. Welcome to Mouse's Mini-verse!
CW: none really? reader is called Mama but not described. It is pure family fluff.
A/N: This story takes place in September/October, even though it is now December. I'm always late to the party 🤣 (Otsukimi is a celebration of the Mid Autumn full moon and then the 'near full' waxing moon about a month later.)
“Miss mooooooon, wake uppppp!” Mouse sang as she sat on the engawa, staring up at the stars.
“What are you doing, Mouse?” Sukuna asked, coming to sit down beside her and ruffling her hair with his hand.
“I want the moon to come out but she’s being too slow,” Mouse told him, climbing into his lap. “Papa, make her come out, please and thank you.”
Sukuna chuckled at her request. “Unfortunately, Mouse, that’s beyond even my capabilities.”
“Mama can do it?” Mouse asked, looking up at him.
“No, neither she nor Uraume can do that either,” he smirked as he replied.
With a big sigh she adjusted to lay with her back against him, staring up at the sky. “Mama said tonight is Otsukimi again. She said last time that some places have big parties. Mama said people sing on boats sometimes.”
“Yes, some people do those… nonsense things,” Sukuna answered.
He really only cared about festivals thrown in his honor, but you had different views on that. You, regrettably, liked to inform him that the world did not revolve around him. It was important for Mouse to understand the traditions of their homeland, even if they meant nothing to him.
“Why is tonight called Otsukimi and when there was already a night called Otsukimi?” Mouse asked., mentioning the same celebration a month prior.
“Last month was about the beauty of the full moon. Tonight is about appreciating the moon even when it is incomplete,” Sukuna explained. He loved the moon and stars. Of all the silly things you convinced him to celebrate with you, he minded this one the least.
“The moon is always pretty,” Mouse answered.
“I agree. But humans believe if someone celebrated last month they must also celebrate this month or bad luck will befall them,” Sukuna rolled his eyes. “Pathetic.”
“Ohhhhh no! We don’t want no bad luck!” Mouse shook her head back and forth, ignoring Sukuna’s sneer. She cupped her hands around her mouth and called out to the sky, “Hurry up, Miss Moon! Hurry up, please and thank you!”
“That won’t work, Mouse. Eat these and have some patience,” Uraume said as they approached, kneeling and placing down a tray of snacks.
“Ooooh! Yummy!” Mouse’s face lit up. Before either of them could blink, Mouse was out of his arms and on the engawa, shoveling dango into her mouth.
“Mouse! Manners!” You chuckled as you came outside and saw your daughter with her cheeks puffed big with food and crumbs all over her mouth and hands. You grinned and pressed your fingertips to your lips, “ Just look at you!”
“I sorry, Mama,” Mouse said, sitting back. “I can has some more, please and thank you?”
“Finish chewing and swallowing what’s in your mouth, and then we can talk about more,” you laughed as you sat down. You pulled her into your lap and used a handkerchief to wipe away the evidence and clean her face. “There’s my pretty girl!”
“And there’s my pretty Mama!” she grinned. She hugged your front and then sat back pointing happily. “And my pretty Papa! And my pretty Urau-raua!”
“I am not pretty,” Sukuna glared, arms crossed across his chest.
“I think you are,” you smiled over Mouse’s head. You looked at Uraume who was looking down stunned. Had Mouse finally broken them? And with a compliment at that? “You are very pretty too, Uraume.”
If looks could kill, Uraume would once again have had you dead on the spot. They did not appreciate your sense of humor. And unfortunately for them, that just made things even more amusing to you.
“We a pretty family!” Mouse giggled.
“I agree,” you gave her a little squeeze.
She yawned and you wondered if she was going to make it to see the full moonrise. She crawled back into Sukuna’s lap and began asking her 5 million newest questions while her father lovingly and begrudgingly answered every single one. She asked him to tell her the legends about the stars. You sat back braced on your hands and listened to him talk. You could listen to that man talk for hours with that voice of his.
Uraume brought out a small blanket and some tea. They handed the blanket to Sukuna and began to set up the cups. You watched as Sukuna wrapped the blanket around Mouse, telling her stories until her little eyes started to flutter.
“Papa?”
“Yes, Mouse?” Sukuna asked, brushing hair back from her face.
“You wake me up when the moon wakes up, please and thank you? I don’t want bad luck,” she said with yet another yawn. She was fighting tooth and nail just to stay awake long enough to get his answer.
“I’ll try,” he chuckled, knowing first hand how difficult his daughter was to wake up for anything.
“No try, do,” she quoted the phrase you said commonly with a yawn and a stretch before snuggling deeper into his arms and his haori. “Please and thank you, Papa.”
He shook his head and chuckled as she started snoring before he could reply. He reached for his tea, taking a sip and looking up at the sky. “Should be soon.”
“I’ll go lay her down,” you said with a smile, moving to set down your tea.
“No, it’s fine,” Sukuna said with a smirk as he glanced down at her. Then he glanced at you and gave you a gentle smile that made your heart flutter. “I made a promise to her, after all.”
“Master Sukuna, would you like me to make more dango? Mouse devoured a majority,” Uraume asked from where they still sat on their knees just behind you both. They surveyed the damage with a grimace on their face. “In record time I might add.”
“No, it’s not necessary, there are still plenty of other treats,” he said gesturing to the still full tray you were picking at.
“But dango is your favorite?” Uraume looked at Sukuna like he was a stranger.
“You’ll miss the moon. Can’t have that either. You don’t want any bad luck, do you Uraume?” Sukuna asked without turning to look at them but a huge smile on his face.
Between the shit eating grin on Sukuna’s face and the sputtering of Uraume behind you, you had to work hard to stifle the giggle that bubbled up within you. You turned and looked at the horizon as the moon began her ascent into the sky. You were not sure if you put any faith into superstitions, but you were not willing to take chances. You loved the life you had built too much for that.
A short time later, Sukuna tried to rouse the little one. “Mouse, wake up, the moon is visible.”
“5 more minutes, please and thank you, Papa,” she said sleepily.
“Saw that coming,” Sukuna chuckled softly, running a knuckle over the swell of Mouse’s chubby cheek.
“We’ll try waking her again before we head to bed,” you said, moving your hand to interlock fingers with Sukuna’s as Uraume could be heard heading inside.
“I am in no rush,” Sukuna said, turning to meet your gaze. “After all, the most beautiful view in the world is the one right in front of me.”

Suds and Sass
Hey hey everyone! Its been far too long since I shared some new Daddy Duty content, so here you go! I give to you all this silly little imagine about Dad!Sukuna and Mouse
If you prefer to read it on AO3 click here !
WC: 892
Summary: It's Sukuna's turn to wash Mouse's hair. He should have known nothing could ever be so mundane with his daughter.
AN: To anyone new to my Daddy Duty series- Mouse is Sukuna's two year old daughter. Welcome to Mouse's Mini-verse!
CW: none really? reader is called Mama but not described. It is pure family fluff.
“That not how Mama does it, Papa,” Mouse informed Sukuna as she sat on the bathing stool in front of him so he could wash her hair.
“Well, Mama isn’t the one doing it, now is she?” he asked with a shake of his head while he lathered her hair, making sure to scrub her scalp thoroughly.
“No. Papa is. But Papa is doing it wrong.”
“Oh? You think you could do better?” Sukuna challenged his almost 3 year old daughter.
Mouse whirled around in excitement. “Yes! I show you! I wash your hair now, Papa! Please and thank you, Papa!”
“I don’t need-”
“Papa,” Mouse rested a hand on his and gave him a stern look. “I wash your hair now, please and thank you. Then Mama won’t say Papa is stinky.”
“I do not smell unpleasant and your mother has never accused me of such,” he glared at his daughter for her infamous audacity.
“Papa wants to smell nice for Mama though, right?” Mouse cocked her head and gave him a sly little grin. “Papa wants Mama kisses.”
“Mouse - Your mother’s and my kisses do not concern you. And she will kiss me regardless of how I smell.” Sukuna was once again dumbfounded by the conversation he found himself having in earnest with his toddler. “Turn around so we can wash out your hair.”
She pressed her lips together and turned her back to him with her arms crossed on her chest. “Mama would give more kisses if Papa wasn’t a stinky head.”
“What was that?” Sukuna’s eyes were huge as he stared at the back of his daughter’s head, certain he had not heard her right.
“Papa is a stinky head. I tellin’ mama no kisses for papa.” “Because I won’t let you wash my hair?”
She turned her head and gave him a look over her shoulder. “If Papa washes his hair he won’t have a stinky head any more.”
Sukuna had never lost so many battles in his life before he met you and you brought this hellspawn into existence. He gave a dejected sigh and knew he would give in to his daughter once again. Another battle conceded to the pint sized dictator.
“Fine, fine. Have it your way…” He finished washing out Mouse’s hair and he got in the tub leaning his head against the edge while Mouse stood on her stool behind him and began to wash his hair. He listened to her as she sang a song she was making up as she went.
“Washing Papa’s hair… soap’s going everywhere… bubbles, bubbles, smell so pretty… bubble everywhere… Papa, you gonna be so pretty for Mama!”
“Oh yeah? Think she’ll give me a kiss now?” He asked, squeezing his eyes shut so the suds did not get in.
“Uh huh!. Papa can say ‘Mama, I not stinky! Kisses now, please and thank you!’” Mouse said, trying to mimic his deep voice.
“I do not sound like that.”
“Okay, Papa…”
Later that night
Mouse laid sleeping on the futon behind you while you sat on the engawa having a cup of tea with your husband. You turned your head towards him and asked him about something that had been on your mind for hours.
“Why did you use Mouse’s shampoo?”
“She did not give me a choice,” Sukuna grumbled and took a sip of his tea.
“Why did she want you to use it to begin with?”
“She didn’t say she was going to use that scent…”
You arched an eyebrow at him. “So the why of it?”
“It's none of your concern,” Sukuna looked away, but not before you saw the touch of pink on his usually tan cheeks.
“Just tell me,” you said, reaching out a hand to entangle your fingers with one of his larger hands.
“It is not important.”
You yanked on his hand until he gave in and leaned over, kissing your upturned pouty lips 3 soft times like he knew you wanted. He smiled and bumped foreheads with you. Just as he started to deepen the kiss a small voice chimed in sleepily from the darkness behind you.
“Told you so, Papa.”
“What did she tell you?” You asked, amused as you heard her start snoring again. Just like Papa, she has to have the last word…
“She stated that you would give me more kisses if I washed my hair,” he said. He turned away and muttered before taking a drink, “And she called me a stinky head.”
Sukuna glared at you as he heard you start to sputter as you tried to keep your laughter suppressed. “It’s not funny.”
“You’re right, it’s not,” you squeezed his hand before grinning broadly. “Its hilarious.”
“I do not find amusement.”
“Sukuna…” you sighed and moved to sit closer and lean against him. “You should know by now… I will give you kisses whether or not you are a stinky head.”
“I am never a stinky head.”
“Okay, my love whatever you say,” you giggled and looked up at him like he hung the moon. “But even if you were… I’d still kiss you.”
“Damn right.” “As if it was a valid concern,” Sukuna scoffed. "Of course it wasn't, my love..." you said with a grin, ignoring the glare you could feel him leveling at your head. You just couldn’t help yourself, sometimes he made it too easy. “But if it was…”

Well hello! Welcome back to yet another adventure in Mouse's Mini-verse! I missed writing this little family so much! Hope you enjoy the newest installment of fluff!
If you prefer to read it on AO3 click here !
WC: 950+
Summary: Sukuna and Reader have some big news for Mouse. As to be expected, our favorite little pinkette has plenty to say.
AN: To anyone new to my Daddy Duty series- Mouse is Sukuna's two year old daughter. Welcome to Mouse's Mini-verse!
CW: Pregnancy announcement, reader is called Mama but not described, Mouse is a mouthy little menace who is an absolute treasure. It is pure family fluff.
“Mouse,” you said gently, trying to get your daughter’s attention as she sat next to Sukuna.
Her full focus was currently on stubbornly trying to shove food into her father’s belly mouth that he refused to open. You chuckled at their matching stubborn grimaces (tummy mouth included).
“Yes, Mama?” Mouse asked, her tongue poked out the side of her lips in concentration and determination.
“Papa and I have something important to tell you.”
Sukuna snatched the berry out of her hand and tossed it into his mouth. He gestured towards you while he chewed. “Pay attention to your mother.”
“Fine…” she pouted, turning to look up at you, trying to be sly and grab another berry as she did. “I listening Mama.”
“Mouse,” you said, smiling and almost bubbling over with excitement. You couldn't wait for her reaction to the big news. “You're going to be a big sister!”
Mouse looked up at you with your husband's look of dismay on her face. “Huh?”
“You're going to be a big sister. Mama’s going to have another baby.”
Mouse scrunched up her face, grabbed another berry and met your gaze. With no hesitation she said, “No, please and thank you, Mama.” And with that her little chubby little hand resumed her previous mission.
“There is no saying no to another baby,” you chuckled. “Mama already has another baby in her belly.”
Mouse turned quickly to Sukuna and asked in a loud whisper, “Mama ate a baby?”
“No. Mama did not eat the baby,” Sukuna grinned, leaning forward to hover over his daughter so she had to turn her face up to look at him. “But I’m awfully hungry and I know a toddler that’s just about big enough to make dumplings out of.”
She grinned and giggled at him. “No eat me, Papa! Please and thank you, Papa!”
“No one is eating anyone,” you sighed, rubbing the bridge of you nose. With a cannibal for a husband you should not have been surprised by your daughter’s question, nor how her father responded.
“How’d baby get in there?” Mouse asked innocently.
“That one is all you,” Sukuna said quickly.
You rolled your eyes at your husband. “Well, that’s where they grow. Mama and Papa made a wish and the universe made it come true.”
“Why you wish for a baby in you belly? I’d wish for dango in my belly,” Mouse answered, always thinking with her stomach. Just like her Papa.
“Master Sukuna, I have brought afternoon tea,” Uraume said, entering the room and kneeling down with a tray.
“Urau-rau. You happy about the baby?” Mouse asked.
“I’ll hold out judgement until we see how well it behaves,” Uraume answered in typical Uraume fashion.
“No be worried, Urau-rau. I’ll teach it to be good like me!” Mouse said happily, reaching for one of the So cookies on the tray with the tea.
“That’s exactly what I am worried about,” Uraume muttered, pouring the tea.
Sukuna laughed and reached out a hand to ruffle Mouse’s hair. She looked up at him and gave him a big grin with crumbs all over her face. He wiped them off gently with his thumb. “You’ll be a great older sister, Mouse.”
“I know,” she smiled. She then shoved her half eaten cracker at his belly mouth and loudly said, “Now say ‘ahhhh’ Papa!”
Sukuna sighed, rolling his eyes. He moved a hand to link with yours and gave you a wink before lolling open his belly mouth and with it doing an exaggerated, “Ahhhhhh.”
Mouse laughed loudly as he ate the other half of the So from her hand and quickly grabbed another. “Again, please and thank you, Papa! Again!”
“You started it,” you laughed as he gave you a look of annoyance over the enthusiastic toddlers head.
“And I’m gonna finish it too,” he said loudly. He snatched Mouse up into his arms, flopping onto his back and holding her up in the air over him.
Mouse let out a loud laugh, clutching the cookie in her hand as she dangled over her father. “Put me down, Papa! I gonna drop my So!”
He sighed and brought her down so she laid on his chest. She moved up to rest her head under his chin as she had done her whole life, sighing happily. With the cookie still clasped in her tiny hand she looked at you with eyes suddenly ready for a nap. “Papa?”
“Yes?” he asked, rubbing her back.
“Even with baby… I still be Papa’s girl?”
“You will always be Papa’s girl. Nothing and no one could ever change that. Foolish child,” he said with no bite to his words. He kissed the top of her head.
“Okay. Then we can keep baby.” she smiled. “I’ll be a big good sister. I promise.”
“You will be, Mouse,” you smiled, taking the cookie from her hand. Nothing put her to sleep faster than being in her father’s arms. It was a sight you loved to see. “You’ll be a great big sister. I just know it.”
“Papa?” Mouse said sleepily, reaching up a hand to play with his ear, a silly little thing she had done most of her life for comfort.
“Yes Mouse?” he asked, eyes closed, enjoying the peaceful serenity of this moment in time.
“You no eat the baby. Okay?”
He shook his head, and grinned. “I make no promises.”
You shook your head and laughed at the two of them. As you started to move away, Sukuna reached out a hand to grab your arm and pull you down to lay with him. The arm he wrapped around you settled protectively over your belly. You snuggled into him and closed your eyes, happiness filling every fiber of your being. To be loved by the King of Curses was truly a beautiful thing.

Summary: Sukuna's enemies make a move on him while he is travelling home. Upon returning home he cannot locate Mouse.
CW: none really? reader is called Mama but not described, canon typical Sukuna threats of violence, not canon, Family fluff, a little angst
AN: For anyone new to this series, Mouse is Sukuna's 2 year old daughter!
“Mouse!” Sukuna bellowed her name as he tore through the estate trying to find his daughter.
His heart was in his throat. Fear and rage were racing through his veins. His enemies had made bold moves on him today while he was returning home and he would not be surprised if they had tried to harm his family. He had gone from room to room calling her name calmly before turning to this fearsome roar.
You raced into the room, holding your hand to your chest. “Suk, what’s going on?”
“I cannot find our daughter anywhere,” he told you, his lips in a tight line.
“Suk… you didn’t say a word when you burst in through the door to the kitchen, and now you’re standing in our bedroom with our bed up in the air, in one hand, yelling for our daughter. Talk to me, please,” you said, eyes wide with concern.
“Our enemies are getting bolder and it appears getting more organized. I saw you in the kitchen, but I have been unsuccessful in locating our child,” he answered, 4 eyes staring straight into yours.
“I saw her not long before you came home. Let's not panic yet,” you reached out and touched his arm. His concern was coming off of him in waves, even if he did not say the words out loud.
“If someone has taken her or harmed her I will rip them limb from limb. I may even keep them alive to watch while I have Uraume prepare and serve me a feast made from their-”
“Papa! You took too long to find me, Urau-rau did!” Mouse called as Uraume carried her into the room with a look of utter exasperation on their face.
They set her down and Mouse wasted no time crossing the distance, running towards Sukuna with her arms raised and a giant smile on her face. Like she hadn’t just given her father a heart attack.
Instead of the angry scolding you expected, Sukuna scooped her up in his arms and cradled her close. Turning to face away and walk a few steps in relief. He could finally breathe again. The little menace was in his arms and safe. Her little arms were spread, trying to give him the tight hug back and he could feel her little laughs in his arms.
He huffed and looked down at her. Little shit. “What the hell is so funny? And what the hell were you doing?”
“We were playing hide and seek. I laughing cuz Urau-rau found me, not you!” She smiled up at him.
“Mouse… how the hell was I supposed to know we were playing hide and seek?” He asked, trying to process her response.
“You promised when you left!” She pouted up at him.
He was about to deny it but then he remembered their conversation from this morning when he had been trying to leave to attend to business today. Mouse had been begging him to stay and play this very game with her. He clearly remembered now that he had told her he would when he got home.
“I am aware I said I would play when I got home, but you are being a tad too literal. I did not mean the very second I got home,” he told her shaking his head.
“You didn't?” she pouted at him.
“Mouse, next time you want to play a game with someone, make sure they are ready to play, okay?” You said, reaching out a hand to ruffle her hair when Sukuna set her down. You still had a smile on your face after having watched the scene before you with the two of them.
“Okay then…” Mouse clapped her hands two times and loudly asked, “Everybody ready?”
“No,” were the unanimous adult responses in the room.
“Everybody ready, please and thank you?” She tried again.
“It’s still a no, Mouse.”
You stifled a laugh as Sukuna stared at his daughter in disbelief. “Mouse, Papa just got home. Let him relax for a moment, okay?”
“Boring,” Mouse said in an exasperated tone, it was an exact mimic of her father’s common response.
“Boring, huh?”Sukuna chuckled and scooped her up in his arms. He tickled her sides, making her squirm and laugh. “I’ll show you boring!”
“Papa!” She laughed, trying to push his hands away.
He paused his tickle assault and asked. “Are you still bored?”
She laughed and enthusiastically said, “Yes!”
“Guess I’m not done teaching you a lesson, brat!” He said before tickling her again.
He looked over at you and smirked as he let Mouse catch her breath. He said her name as he set her down on the ground and turned her towards you. “Mama looks… bored, doesn’t she?”
“Yeah, huh?! Here I come Mama! Tickle tickle, please and thank you!” Mouse laughed as she ran towards you with her hands doing the tickling motion in mid air.
Sukuna laughed at the murderous look you shot him before you gave in to your daughter, before quickly turning the tickles around on her. He knew you hated to be tickled. He just couldn’t resist the temptation.
Threats to his family would always loom on the horizon, but he wouldn’t let anything stop him and his family from living their lives to the fullest. He would slaughter and dine on anyone who tried. And that was not only a threat, it was a promise.
