#USA news and world news all Bad this morning (continuing understatement of the year)#so here's Wes being sweet and cute and silly#tiny muppet#Wesley waffles#this morning he submitted me to the horrifying ordeal of having a conversation with and then waving our neighbor off to work#while he's in full uniform (NPS law enforcement ranger) and I am literally in my boxers with a jacket that goes down past said boxers#Wes loves our neighbor (he is admittedly very nice and we exchange baked goods)#Wes just sat down at thr end of his leash facing neighbor's truck and refused to move until he had driven off#like on one hand I rlly don't care but on the other come on buddy he doesn't need us domestically waving him off to work in literal boxers#anyway I am focusing on this while the rest of the world news and US news Is What It Is so I don't scream
