It's a miracle, really, that Aiden had caught him when he did. Ten minutes later and Fannar probably would have given him a heart attack by being completely unrousable — born of a land constant frought with earthquakes, he's learned to sleep through everything. Everything. It's a bit of a problem (though at least, kind of a funny one).

He's in the back of the car — mercifully, a 4x4 big enough to house two on any given occasion. He awakens almost immediately, although a little blearily; but when he grasps why he's been woken, he's sitting bolt upright and going for the door handle.

It's ice and snow around them, but lupines peek through the white. The wind is still. And overhead, the Northern Lights: green, purple, red. Oh, it's a good one!

"Ah! Yes! Shit, I'm so glad we're here for this," he grins, shoving his hands deep into his pockets and grinning across to Aiden. For Fannar, even after all this time, the excitement of the northern lights has never faded. Not even slightly. He's positively beaming as he asks, "Have you ever seen them before? The lights?"
