Zach Blair is the guitarist for Rise Against and he used to be in GWAR (Frank says he got mono from them).

Where do musicians go when they are old?there’s no coach or commentator jobs, all you can do is continue to cheat or rest on your laurels.

How it is to still be a touring musician, still making music even though he is in a huge band.

Younger kids finding My Chem just like he found his own favorite bands that were done and now getting to see them back, it’s still special.

L.S. Dunes is a band of people who connected and feel like what they do now means something to them at 40. Frank jokes that is a band of ex-addicts who are looking for a high. Making art gives them that.

Soundcheck is where they rehearse and write new stuff (This was recorded right after the Rise Against Tour/Uk).

His special connection with Tucker, whenever he is behind a kit he makes him want to write, and talks about Anthony’s ability to sing along with them when inspiration strikes.

Writing music with his daughter? She also does what Anthony does, sings along, making sounds.

Guitar and peddle board stuff that I don’t understand. There’s a piece of gear that he inherited and sold and it’s the one thing he wants to find again.

8 or 10 or 12 guitars for My Chemical Romance this summer because they are going to have a large pool of songs to choose from every night. It’s going to be big.

His peddle board alone weights 65 pounds and he paid 3k to get it all back from Austria. They paid 200 dollars from Jersey to Dublin. He gets mad over how arbitrary it all is. The conversation then moves to how much touring costs, the loss of records sales, and how it increased merch prices. He doesn’t know how young bands can afford it. All they do is pay a lot of money to afford to do a tour.

Guitars are sexy to him, he needs to find them attractive, otherwise there’s no point in keeping them.

This guy really appreciates Frank as a musician and has only nice things to say about him.
