are you working on a musical/play currently? if so when will it be out on youtube (if you know)
We are currently hard at work on our next show, Ghost Story! We don't have a production lined up yet, much less any kind of video, but we'll update as we go along with getting it in front of eyeballs :) (Probably the first iteration of it will be a reading in New York City -- or maybe New Haven, CT. -- so if you're around there keep an eye out for more info once we finish writing it!)

The new Adamandi demos are SO FUN!! The revise of Where Can I Run and Dear Ms Reporter are so so cool cause it feels like Vincent's character motivations being defined a Lot More Overtly then originally and that's So Fun!! Autism Sleep Agent Moment ftw

We wanted to build up stuff more clearly to the pyre scene/ambrose skask moment haha (also because in the original, these were two songs that were written like. kinda before most of the show existed. so they were less incorporated into it/explored a bunch of ideas that didn’t end up making it into the script) - Elliot

11/19: Adamandi AMA!
Hi everyone! In honor of Adamandi fan week* we will be hosting an Ask Me Anything (AMA) event on 11/19 to celebrate a year since the opening of the first production of our musical Adamandi.
HOW IT WORKS:
Our ask box will be open per usual, but we will try to answer everything as soon as possible! No question is too silly or too small - If you've been burning to ask "What does Vincent eat for breakfast" or "What software do you use to make your demos" or "What're some secret Adamandi set details we can't see from the recording," now is the time! (Of course, the usual rules of human decency apply - if you send something that is mean or offensive, or could be construed as mean or offensive, we won't be responding to it. ) We'll try to get to everything we receive Sunday, from 12:00pm (noon) to 11:59pm (midnight) Eastern Time.
Because of the nature of the event, we'll be focusing mostly on Adamandi questions, but if you have any asks about our other shows we'll get to them once all the Adamandi questions have been answered!
*We aren't running the Adamandi fan week or moderating it at all, we just think it is a fun idea and want to support :)

I finally got around to listening to the Ghost Story Musical demos, and I’m beginning to see a pattern between the three major Melliot Musicals.
-Queerness
-A blonde white man’s sex life (or in Ambrose’s case, lack of one) will be the unknowing catalyst of so many problems.
-As soon as fire enters the mix, you know somethings going to go off the rails.
-Feeling like an outsider due to one’s race, transness, queerness, or place in the class order
-The slow disillusionment of a gay relationship due to a fundamental difference in world views between partners, all while at least one member of the relationship becomes increasingly homicidal and starts to openly share their violent actions/fantasies.
-There is something horribly wrong with the old timey blonde white guy.
-When the piano starts getting fun, the fuckery has just begun.
-They really like a good stabbing.
-Privilege, inability to see past one’s own desires and ambitions, an unhealthy level of people pleasing, and trying to maintain a status quo while avoiding addressing the prevailing issues in the relationship will cause long term damage.
-(This is an Adamandi and TAOPP thing) Listen to the lesbian’s advice, do not listen to the bi/pansexual cause they give bad advice, but listen to the lesbian. The lesbian is often times right, but not often listened to.
-A general theme of otherness and how it can slowly cause someone to eat themself from the inside out while trying to find a place in a world that seems to desperately want them gone, eventually deciding that destroying that world that rejected them is better than failing over and over again to become part of it. Sort of a “The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth.” situation.
