Couples break up all the time and then get back together. My brother broke up with his wife like...five times when they were dating and now their married with kids so...I have hope.

Kenlynn is dead. Like, that's done. I will say I am very sad because it was my main ship for a lonnggggg time, and they will always hold a special place in my heart, but it's over. I knew they were dead for sure when Kenji had no interest in going after Brooklynn. If he was still in love with her he would've. That relationship is damaged beyond repair. I'm not saying Kenji doesn't still love her, because he does, he's just not in love with her anymore.

The Handler being dead is probably devastating for a lot of y'all, and I send my condolences, but I have like zero feelings about her death lmao.

BROOKLYNN IS SUCH A FUCKING BADASS. She was absolutely ruthless and I loved it. I also loved watching her genuinely do BAD things like when she almost got Davi's arm chomped off and when she stuck the laser on him and then after was like "oh my god who have I become?" Watching her become more and more morally grey was such a treat and I ate it up.

But also, she's still our girl at heart. She was just playing the long game...sometimes a little too well. But she's still camp fams Brook.

Ben was cracking me up this season lmao

ALSO SAMMY AND YAZ CALLING EACH OTHER 'BABE'. AGHHH.

BROKERLYNN. LAB PARTNERS. They 1000% slept together and I am so sure of that. When Soyona told the Handler to "never lay a finger on Brooklynn again" I SCREAMED. The way Soyona grabbed Brooklynn's WAIST and pulled her closer to her side in that scene too? STOP. I also LOVED Brooklynn's "checkmate" moment with Soyona. Brooklynn is THAT BITCH.

Seeing Soyona in her dominion fit did something to me bro. SHE'S SO DAMN HOT.

I sympathize with Sammy because of what she went through with her family, and I feel so bad for her, but it made me sad how she lost ALL her faith in Brook.

Yaz being so steadfast in her faith in Brooklynn made me so happy. I love their friendship and I love that it was kinda touched on this season.

Anyways...that's not all I have to say and I have so many more posts coming but HOLY SHIT Y'ALL. BEST SEASON YET.

volume XI thoughts

I did in fact have access to this on Tuesday and started to play but then got distracted and didn't finish until like 2am when I couldn't sleep anyway (this was a mistake I was so tired at work)

movie night!!! And fun movie night titles!! ofc MC doesn't get her own custom one bc everyone's got different names but my MC is named Maya and with how things have been going I'm pretending her movie title is Messy Messy Maya 🤭

Emel and Oakley both being unfaithful in casa but finding (forcing?) their way back to each other and forgiving each other feels very much like something in the show so I appreciate that storyline tbh

Felicity is too beautiful of a sprite to waste as a Casa girl that only shows up for movie night.

Sienna going "I don't care if it's egotistical, pick my movies" because no one else is gonna care to pick hers 😬😬 id feel bad for her if she wasn't so mean

Hari and Hazel are so cute together but it seems like it's gonna die out soon 🥲 Like I see why if Hazel is panicking and Hari isn't the most reassuring guy and also not completely over MC but aghhh he's gonna fumble Hazel to LIAM. Hazel, not LIAM plsss

Absolutely awful that Liam is so funny bc he's such a piece of shit (awful in the best way, like he's so Messy Mitch from LI UK s10 coded and while I don't like him I appreciate the fun he brings). Saw someone suggest that he could be a late game LI and if he evolves and changes, sure, but a lot is gonna need to happen, otherwise give him a last minute jokey option like Hamish.

I think the thing stopping me from going full in on this Claudia route is she keeps going back to Theo, and not like she has to be pursuing MC 100% for me to pick her but I'm just getting mixed signals with her trying to save her relationship with Theo when they clearly aren't into each other anymore but there are plenty other people around.

Not on a Theo route and haven't talked to him but ngl his little video clip was cute like I almost jumped ship to be messy but nahh. I wonder how that's like if you're actually pursuing him though like does it feel like pay off or shock or reassurance or anything.

very nice they had Jin spell it out to Sienna in front of everyone. like kind of mean, but if it was gonna happen at any time, Movie night is definitely the time to do it.

Like even MC's movie clip playing, first of all was just if she slept with someone in casa I think (which, it's fair enough considering the game's limitations but I was missing all the other times she hoed around). So for my MC it was with Claudia, and Claudia barely has a response to it. And so I'm kinda just going towards the character actively pursuing and paying attention at this moment and it's Jin.

I guess MC was honest to Jin so he didn't mind the movie night thank God but also I want to replay to see the drama unfold. but in my head for some reason he'd be shocked it was Claudia bc she didn't say anything and like it'd be one thing if it was someone she just met like Max who she's been friendzoning ever since but another thing for it to be her best friend in the Villa. but alas, that is a large amount of branching and coding and dialogue to write so I'll let it slide.

a recoupling so soon after?? it's not like the season feels too rushed, but like I mentioned before, the pack in so many things in each volume you don't get much of a chance to chill out with the characters and pretend it's a vacation for your character lol

the problem with me playing early is I'm so curious how everyone else's game went. like is it only your OG LI or Casa Boy that can pick you?? And the chat you have with your partner after, does that lock your route because after this I feel there was a little bit less attention on MC from the other LI's (which I don't mind, so they can have their own stories now, but I wanna knowwww)

I forked over the gems for the cowgirl outfit (partly bc the mermaid dress was awful and bc my MC has red hair so I wasn't gonna make her dress like Ariel) but i wish there was a costume that was free instead of just your partywear dress? Like it can be a shitty costume but I understand people not wanting to pay gems for one outfit for one night of the game.

Such a minor detail, but I do love that despite her being so awful to MC, that Sienna canonically is a very conservative dresser. like we all see her churchy outfits. and I think maybe she's a little insecure about her body and stuff. that being said, the dialogue she has when she's in costume about feeling confident, and her costume isn't super revealing, and the girls being shocked at her dance, is all very good to have. like it's nice to have that type of character around and the fact that she's also the villain rn? she contains multitudes (or I'm reading into it too hard 😂)

mentioned briefly before but Hazel and Liam??? tf??

And now Claudia and Bea flirting with each other? Okayyy I mean my fingers are crossed so here's hoping they find each other if not MC. and they have a lot in common but feel like different characters so like pls let them be together (I say this as someone every few months posting about how it shouldve been Cora and Angie not friendzoned Oliver and Angie in the s4 finale)

ok but his entrance feels so overshadowed by other things going on though like I feel like he didn't get a chance to really bombshell to the point where I think he should've been introduced next volume instead. like have him have a normal bombshell entrance with dates or smth, then maybe when they're all chilling the next day and getting to know him someone brings up he missed heart rate challenge and they suggest he dances for the characters he's most interested in, if we really wanted to get his messy entrance in.

Two unfortunate things are true in my mind: Logan is very attractive (at least when he's got the hat on) and also he looks like Liam 🫣

Your new job in the office wasn't as bad as you thought it would be, sure it was a bit boring and repetitive, but it payed well and most of your co-workers were actually nice. However, the gossip in the break room every day was getting juicier and juicier, some of the people were whispering things about one of your co-workers; Gerard. They were saying stuff all the time about how he's such a creep, that he's a freak and nobody should bother talking to him, because he's just a "weirdo".

But that wasn't the case, was it? You talked to him once and once only, but when you did he was actually pretty sweet and nice, I mean- if you look at him he's not one of those typical creep-like people. He's very pretty for a man, and even though he's kind of an awkward and quiet person, you didn't find anything offsetting or weird about him. So you didn't really know what to believe from the gossips and the rumors. Either way, you tried to keep your distance from him, because the way your co-workers have been warning you it planted the bug in your ear.

One day though, the gossiping in the break room got to a new level. They were talking about how Gerard's been acting even weirder, that someone spotted him jerking to some weird ass porn in his cubicle while he was on break.

"Have you heard about that freak? Declan said he saw him wanking it to some weird porn that looked either very kinky or it might have been straight up rape and gore. I swear, he's so weird, I don't get it how he hasn't gotten fired yet." Said a woman in a whisper shout that was meant to be quiet but it failed it's purpose.

"Oh don't even get me started, I'm sure he watches those snuff films with his dick in his hands. I'm so glad that I don't work on the same level as him, I'd hate that, even more so than I hate this job right now; which, is already a lot." Another woman chimed in, dragging her words like she was chewing on them.

You were pretty confused on why they were even talking about this, didn't they had something better to do? Either way, you were sure Gerard wouldn't watch something like that, right? As far as you know he's a normal dude who's just a bit more isolated. So you didn't pay attention to them and tried to enjoy the rest of your break.

a/n: Hi! I hope you are having an amazing day too! Sternum tattoos are soooo cool I'm totally jealous you got one! Getting a tattoo with Steve-o and Johnny surely sounds lovely so I would love to write something for you! (Please keep in mind I have never gotten a tattoo so if I mess up on how tattoo artist do them work with me!)

prompt: You, Johnny, and Steve-o all agreed that you should get matching tattoos of the Jackass logo, but it's your first tattoo so you have the first tattoo shudders. But thankfully Steve-o and Johnny help you through it.

"Is it gonna hurt?" You asked your two friends. You were currently sitting in a tattoo chair fiddling with your fingers punching yourself mentally in the face for agreeing to getting matching Jackass logo tattoos with your two close friend Johnny and Steve-o. Both the boys had already went; Steve-o first and Johnny second.

"Put shouldn't hurt at all with the stuff you've done." Steve-o smiled. "Yeah defiantly shouldn't doll, you've broke both your arms at the same time once this'll be a cake walk for you." Johnny said pushing your knee. "I don't know I don't really remember that pain." You said with a nervous laugh.

"Nothing to be scared of Yn! If tattoos hurt I wouldn't have so many." Steve-o added, which did calm you down a bit because Steve-o did have a lot of tattoos. "Where are you planning on getting it?" Johnny asked you. "My sternum." You said pointing to the area in the middle of your chest.

Johnny was very thankful he had his sunglasses on to cover up how wide his eyes opened as you spoke, that was probably one of the most painful areas to get tattooed. "Ooo feeling a little frisky I see." Johnny said trying to hide the fear he had of you finding out how badly that area hurts.

"Oh shut up." you laughed, Johnny letting out a breath as you didn't catch on. The tattoo artist walked back into the room holding a stencil of the Jackass logo and a fresh set of gloves. You turned your head to the artist who took a seat in the small wheeling chair next to you, he set down everything on a small tray next to him and began to open up a package of a new set of tools.

"This may be a little stupid," You chuckled, "But is this gonna hurt?" The tattoo artist looked at you then Johnny and Steve-o who were aggressively shaking their heads no then back to you. "Uh no not really you probably will feel just a pinch, shouldn't hurt too bad." The tattoo artist said, lying through their own teeth.

"You can take your shirt off or leave it on and just pull it up for me but I will need you to remove your bra for me if you are wearing one." The tattoo artist spoke as he put his gloves on. "At least buy her a drink first." Steve-o laughed, Johnny quickly joining him.

"Sorry about them they are pretty stupid." You giggled, you took your shirt off just enough to cover your boobs and unclipped your bra and took it off handing it to Johnny. Both Johnny and Steve-o giggling over your pink cheetah print bra. "Didn't know you were a cat Yn." Johnny laughed. "Shut it Knoxville."

The tattoo artist placed the stencil on you pretty quickly, handing you a mirror to confirm that's where you wanted it placed. When you said yes the tattoo artists was quick to get the tattoo gun set up.

"Do you need anything before we start like water?" The artist asked you, "Nope I'm all good." The tattoo artist nodded his head as he turned on his tattoo gun, you tensed up at the sound of the tattoo gun. Johnny noticing this and placing a hand on your knee, your body relaxed at your friends touch.

The tattoo artist started with a small line on the stencil of the tattoo, a odd sort of pain shooting through your body as the needles in the tattoo gun made contact with your skin. "Doing ok?" The artist asked you as he took the tattoo gun away from you, wiping away ink. "Never been better." You said through gridded teeth.

"See that wasn't so bad right?" Steve-o said with a small reassuring smile. "It did hurt pretty bad." You laughed nervously. The tattoo artist began to tattoo your skin again, this time a longer lines with quicker wipes to remove excess ink. You bite your tongue and didn't dare say to stop because it hurt.

"You're doing great doll just power through it." Johnny said. "Yeah you're doing great just focus on us and it'll be over in no time." Steve-o added. "If I focused on you two it would last even longer." "That's a bit mean." Steve-o said with a fake pout.

The tattoo artist hit a part in the tattoo where the pain seemed to intensify, your hand reaching out for either of the boys hands on your left for some sort of comfort. You felt Steve-o's calloused hand take yours as you squeezed his hand pretty hard, Steve-o rubbed his thumb in circles on your hand for a bit trying to relax you.

"Your almost done don't stress it dude. You are taking it like a true Jackass." Steve-o said, Johnny nodding in agreement. "Lucky for you yours was smaller than ours." Johnny smiled. For the rest of the tattoo you listened to Johnny and Steve-o's praises for how well you were doing.

"Dude your taking this like a total badass." - Steve-o probably.

"Almost done, you're doing so good." - Johnny probably.

When the tattoo was finally done the artist cleaned it a bit and told you the run down on how to take care of the tattoo, which you listened to very closely in fear of getting an infection.

"See wasn't that bad right? Even if it did you took it great." Steve-o said as he rubbed up and down your back as the three of you left the small tattoo shop. "Yeah you did great for your first tattoo, I was crying like a baby my first tattoo." Johnny laughed. "Well thanks guys, I probably would have cried like a baby too if you two weren't there."

"Yn!" Both the boys said in a cooing tone.

"Oh god shut up. Now let's go back to the hotel so we can get a picture of our tattoos."

Hmmm, I feel like of all my fics, Arc Business is just the least interesting at a glance. It's not Bad Batch, it's just Echo, but I have a reallyyyyyyy long doc of ideas for that one. I just need Fives and Echo to be besties again and there are SO many hurt/comfort tropes I’ve thought up for them!! A good amount of it is already written out, but there's just not much motivation since I have a lot of ideas that would just do better. And I definitely try not to write for anyone else, it's my fic and I can post it if I want lol, but it would just be cool to see it take off a bit more :) (maybe i should just post that next chapter.... aghhh but i have so many wips rn 🫠🫠)

I answered this one for Tanwyn, but yeah, On the Reg just deserves so much better! It was my first fic, I wasn't expecting anyone to ever read it and honestly, most of it was written in like a couple sittings. I didn't do a ton with the concept, it was a lot of interactions with no missions or anything, and while that was totally fine, I just think it could be better! And again, some of them were... REALLY out of character at the beginning lol. Hunter is literally just *there* for most of it. (this poor guy, i just do not understand him enough lol)

In this case, Echo is being particularly stupid avoiding certain things, and this only ends up making it all worse. Don't wanna spoil too much but uh, there's definitely things being lost in the tension rn

AAAHHHHHH!!! I loved this episode 😭😭. I know the tears might seem to negate that but they don't I promise xd. I loved the focus on Marjan, our queen being the awesome person she is <33. And Grace :D. Our amazing girls all around today <33. But y'all 😭😭💔. I did not deserve that with Marjan <33. Alas, agh, we'll get to that in a second xd. But first of all, I loved all of them 🥰🥰🥰. Grace's storyline was great, really interesting :D. It's always amazing to see Grace's emotional side, it's so good. And the calls, though I know those related to the storylines lol, were really good too :D. I actually really enjoyed how they tied into the main storylines, speaking of.

I loved them supporting Grace this episode :DDD!! We know they do, obviously, but we don't see it often enough since Grace is usually so put together. It was just really nice to see :)). Also, I love them 🥰🥰🥰. Both of them were adorable with their kids this episode 😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️. Literally amazing :'). Anyway, they were also amazing at their jobs, as always :D. And we especially got to see it with Tommy helping Grace out over the phone :). And y'all their goodbyes with Marj 😭. I can't <333.

Owen! His scenes with was Marjan were super sweet 😭😭🥰🥰🥰. Catch me wondering if he sold her the bike or just gave it to her though lol. Anyway xD, even if it didn't come off the best, I'm glad he was giving some Marjan some (not even that bad) advice this episode, and supporting her :). Though let's be real he was more of a problem than she was in that meeting XD. Also, I'm a little stressed for him with all that bomb stuff in the future 😬. Or, I guess, stressed for him now about the future because of all the bomb stuff? Idk lol. Anyway, his goodbye with Marjan man 😭😭😭❤️❤️. I didn't deserve that xdd. Also, Owen was hilarious in the first few minutes xD. I mean he was in general, and they were all a part of the interview, but he was first yk? It was just funny lol. Anyway, I love him <3.

Grace, my girl!! She was so amazing this episode :D. First of all, her calls with Linus were so cute 🥰🥰 and she was so nice :D. And her VOICE!!! OUUGH!! Sometimes I forget how good it is :D. Anyway, she slayed <333. Also, it's cool that she's good at math! It's one of those fun little details that makes a character feel more really :D. I do wonder if it'll come back up though 👀👀. Maybe at some point in the future! Anyway, she did s well on the calls today :D. And, even though she was freaking out at first, she did amazing helping that kid's mom 🥰🥰🥰❤️. And the waiting room scene 😭😭❤️. Our girl was going through it but at least she had Tommy by her side <333. And she still was awesome, our girl can do anything :)). MARJANNNNNNN I DID THE DESERVE THATTTT!!!!

😭😭😭😭💔💔💔 Like I know it's for the best and all and I really hope she isn't gone for good but just :'(((. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she gets drawn back in just a couple episodes from this upcoming disaster/a related one :). Anyway! We'll talk more about that in a minute. Right now, this episode. Seeing her try so hard to just make good and fix her mistake (barely a mistake) was just 😭😭😭😭💔❤️. She's genuinely just a good person who doesn't like upsetting people :'((. And those jerks decided to take advantage of the city being the city >://. Like, I get they didn't want to go to court over it, but come on!! It really is extortion. Besides that, she gave them a full detailed apology and was willing to post it online to millions of people!!! Like, at that point you just tell them "Don't push your luck." Ugh, but whatever. I'm really glad she had Paul on her side though, and the lawyer herself even :D (though she had to be impartial but I mean her personal opinion). Still, it all sucks <33. But anyway,her heartbreak throughout this whole episode 😭😭. And yet still, she stuck to her guns and was even cooler than usual :'). It's an awful situation, but luckily she is AMAZING, and I love her so much <33.

Also, those goodbyes 😭😭😭😭. I literally did not deserve that <333. That entire last scene was just 💔💔 but I am upr glad we got :'DDD ❤️❤️. We deserve it, especially if she doesn't return (permanently).

But yeah, I honestly don't think I've fully processed that she's leaving??? You're not gonna convince me until she's gone for the rest of the season besides the wedding episode xDD. I just REALLY hope it's only a break :((((. Bc I don't think I could handle it if she genuinely left xdd. Like I said, I may seem chill, but it hasn't sunk in yet, and it better not - as in it's not fully happening lol. Now the thing is, I do want her back as soon as possible, but I also want this storyline to MEAN something, you know? And it gets a little negated if she comes back in like, two episodes xd. So, idk. I'd like her to come back for some crisis maybe mid-season ish and the stick around :). And probably late mid season, not early (more like 11/12 than 8 or smth). Also, speaking of meaning, it feels almost like an insult that sometimes this small took her down. But at the same time, it shows that sometimes things just come out of the blue, and they're not fair, you know? As long as she does eventually come back (and stays back), I still enjoyed this storyline lol. Scared for the future, though <333. I love her 😭😭💔🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Overall, I really enjoyed this episode. I thought it was great, and it's been nice to see everyone again - even though I do totally love Tarlos. I loved both of the main storylines, and I thought it was cool how the calls directly related to the plots. That's what happens when you have Grace as one, lol! But yeah, the calls were greta an I enjoyed ho they intertwined :). Besides that, everyone was awesome :D. Again, the final scene was just 😭. And there were some funny bits this episode! Mostly the first few minutes, but throughout the rest too :). I also just loved all the group scenes in general, speaking of that 🥰🥰. I am very scared for the future, what with Marjan leaving, and everything with the explosion. And even though I want the storyline to have time to breathe, I'd honestly be cool if she came back next time lol. To be fair it looks like it'll be pretty dramatic xD. Also, does anyone remember seeing Marj in that shot o Owen talking to the 126? Presumably about the explosives threat. Because it would make sense now if she's not xD. Anyway, I don't know if she will, but it would be nice :'). Besides that, I just love them all :)) <33.

So yeah! I loved this episode. Great to see everyone more, even if it's sad. This has been my review of. . .

Does anyone notice that the roses behind them are different? The rose behind Blaine and Maria is blurry, the one behind Lance and Lorena is visible, and the one behind Gwen and Frederick is visible and sparkly like magic.. I can't help but think that it foreshadow something.

Oh yeah, and the king's plan? It sucks. And really childish. Like, Leland you're not just a prick you're the whole fucking cactus. Because, I think, even tho the princesses get annoyed by their father, I don't think they would actually abandon him like that. They truly love each other as a family. Okay first of all, I sympathize with Daf, like I'm pretty sure he's also known as the character who gets no applause when he's introduced and it's SEVERAL times that this gag has occurred, I mean it's actually hilarious to me but the other half of me legit feels bad 😂 Like I started clapping for him recently when he bows down since I already knew nobody was gonna care aha- (I mean his low fanbase unlike Bugs' was sorta the plot for Back in Action as well? LMAO)

He's just a great character, he was and is still my favorite character to this day. I love his screwball and angry (that's what it's called?) variation, they're funny in their own way~

Man, I also really think he's adorable and funny when he's trying too hard to impress someone he likes/his reaction when he likes someone (which is apparently part of my "certain traits that I may simp for" category, don't ask-)

Sometimes I prefer toons without Bugs just to see how he acts when he's on his own, but then again seeing him with Bugs makes me laugh a lot especially with Chuck Jones' trilogy of the Duck/Rabbit season joke.

Soooooo here we are, with the second fill!

We have more sibling dynamics during the main storyline of Loki, today between him and his older sister Lucia!

"Oh really, I can tell how fine you are."

Lucia was standing in the doorway, her brows furrowed in a way that only vaguely resembled worry. “If you’re that fine, make yourself a bit more useful and help me downstairs.”

Of course she knew - her brother was doing everything but well. The way he’d barely been out from under his covers, not even bothered to get food or at least a *shower* in days were more than enough indicators that something was absolutely wrong. But if he kept on refusing any help there was to offer him - what else could she do?

Ever since he came back late that one evening a few days prior, his clothes soaked and clinging to his skin, making his trembling all over even more prominent - had it been raining? Surely she would’ve noticed if it was that bad outside… - Loki had been like this, immediately worrying Egill and slowly even Lucia to bits. Something wasn’t quite right about the whole thing, the whole story about ‘getting caught up with someone after school and suddenly it started raining buckets and coming down with just a cold, as you do sometimes’.

“Mh...c’ming…”

Remaining there until she saw the sheets rustling, meaning that he was actually going to come along this time, she let out a little disapproving sigh at his stubbornness to keep on insisting he was fine when he so clearly wasn’t, then walked off downstairs and to the kitchen. If he wanted it like this, then he could have it.

Minutes later, as she was drying off dishes she and Egill had used earlier - again, no sign of Loki then - she noticed quiet steps shuffling into the room behind her.

“Finally, was about time.” She barely glanced back at him, before motioning to the sink with few leftover plates that had yet to be washed. “Lucky for you I did almost everything by myself already before you decided to turn up.” The grain of salt in her voice seemed to go unnoticed, drowned out even as Loki stayed near the door, not moving an inch closer.

“...go on, what are you waiting for? The water’s getting cold. I don’t care how you do it, but-”

“...no. ‘nything else to do...?” 

She blinked and turned back to him, dishrag in hand. “...you sound like shit, you know that? No. There’s this to do.”

“‘m not doing that.” His voice was quieter than usual, raspy, and the glassy shimmer in his eyes took away any bit of seriousness, nonetheless assertiveness he might have had before. Not even crossing his arms could help build up any of that again anymore either.

“Aw come on, it’s just a bit of water. You’re not gonna be scared of that, are you?” The corner of her mouth perched up as she reached into the sink, splashing him with a few drops of water.

“Aghhh, why did you-?!” Not quite fast enough to get out of reach, Loki winced as the cold droplets hit his face. Turning his back to Lucia, he hesitated a moment - admittedly, the cool on his face was...comfortable… - then quickly wiped it off with his sleeve though. He kept it in front of his mouth a few moments longer, as he felt that awful itch in his throat rise again, aggravated by his previous yelling. Taking a slow, shaky breath to calm himself down again, he-

“You know, touching water once in a while’s not gonna kill you-” 

The next moment, he felt ice cold hands on his cheeks, dripping wet.

“HNNNGET OFF-” 

The rest of his words were cut off by coughs, heavily wracking through his body. Screwing his eyes shut in an attempt to get it under control - to no avail - he reached for the wall for support, to keep himself from doubling over as getting air seemed to grow harder and harder by the second.

His lungs were burning, his head hazy, so hazy - he barely felt the hands grabbing him by the shoulders, registered the voice calling out his name. Knees jittering beneath him, he grabbed whatever he could to keep himself from falling - that being his sister’s arms that were already struggling to keep him up.

“Hey- Loki! Loki, look at me! Hey, come on!”

His eyes fluttered open, met her’s for a moment - unfocused, hazy, as if he was looking right through her.

Shaking his head frantically, he could merely wheeze in between his coughs.

“Can’t- Can’t breathe-”

Pulling his arms away from her’s, he now instead clutched his own chest, and held them in front of his mouth. “I- I can’t-”

“It’s okay, you’ll be okay- Come on, look at me. Focus, come on- Breathe, slowly. It’s gonna be okay, just breathe, with me.”

This time, he actually seemed to clear up a bit, his gaze on her more clear than before as he tried to focus on his breathing, to line it up with Lucia’s.

Slowly, his coughing subsided, his shuddering breaths got slower - and the weight under Lucia's hands got heavier. Huffing in surprise, she could just barely pull him close enough to keep him from falling as his legs gave in and he slumped forward, almost making them both tumble to the floor as he hung limply in her arms. 

"...you're fine my ass. You're a fucking idiot, that's all you are."

Frowning, she picked him up properly - with worryingly little effort - and walked back to the living room, placing him on the couch. She rested her hand on his head a moment more, a sinking feeling growing in her stomach at the heat radiating off his suddenly so awfully pale skin, before she turned away again to let him rest once more. 

Waking up, the first thing he felt was his pounding head. A groan escaped him, and he blinked tiredly against the light in the room, glancing around. His legs were propped up on cushions, a thin blanket draped over his body.

He turned his head to find Lucia laying across the armchair, a popsicle stick she'd been chewing on for quite a while now in her mouth. Her glance was demanding, serious, yet worried - Hell, this might've been the first time he saw her worried about anything besides his brother.

For a moment, their eyes locked, and the words threatened to spill over his lips. The words of truth, of what actually happened. But the moment was short, and instead, he turned to face the backrest of the couch, pulling his blanket further up. 

"...'feel like shit…"

"Well that's a first. Not like I couldn't tell before." She sighed. "Egill is out and won't be home for a bit. If you're gonna tell me, now' s the chance."

He shuddered at the thought of his brother finding out any more than he already knew - or maybe it was just the sickness that still lay deep in his chest. Either way - in the end, he stayed silent. 

Eventually, Lucia spoke up again, resignation in her voice.

"...Well then. But you're aware that if you don't tell me and let me help you, Egill will eventually do it by himself. You do you, but if I have to get you into hospital again for whatever fucked up shit you pulled this time, you're gonna be the one explaining it to him, I'm not getting into trouble with him because you couldn't open your mouth and tell what's up."

Loki stayed silent, his lack of resistance acting as more or less of a silent agreement. No, no one had to find out. Especially not Egill. And no one would, there was no reason for anyone to. 

No, he'd be fine. Not yet, but soon enough. He'd just…sleep it all off.

Biting down another cough that crept up his throat, Loki closed his eyes and buried his face under the blanket, unaware of Lucia quietly getting up and heading to leave the room, before she stopped in the doorway. 

"And by the way, if you pass out on me again like this, the couch is not gonna be the place you wake up in again. Just to make it clear. Be glad it was me and not Egill or hell would've broken loose already." 

Without waiting for an answer, she walked out, leaving Loki by himself.
