I want a buddy cop style comic, but it is just Dick and Donna trying to keep their younger siblings and teammates out of trouble while trying to figure out which Wonder Twin Roy, Wally, Kori and Garth is in love with.

Every couple of issues are focused on a different group of siblings, teammates and potential core titans love interest, but every time you think one of the wonder twins are about to get the girl/guy they get blue balled by having to go save someone else. The other twin is laughing at them from the other side of the room while starting up the Zeta-beam.

They save the world like 5 different times and save thousands of lives but their banter the entire time is just them making fun of each other and their crushes.

#spoiler alert #all of the titans are in love with the wonder twins #the only fab five (and Kori) members that are not in love with the twins are the twins #the final issues is just the fab 6 almost complete the ‘we should just all date’ conversation #but then they get blue balled by the Justice League #on the final page we find out that Bruce and Diana have been behind every interruption this whole time #like yeah the wonder twins are adults now but also no they are not #they are still tiny children that needs to be protected in Bruce’s and Diana’s eyes #sure they can go fist fight gods and monsters but absolutely no kissing till you are 35 #dick grayson #donna troy #dc wonder twins #wonder twins #robin #wonder girl #wondergirl #nightwing #troya #dc troya #titans #dc titans #teen titans #fab five #fab5 #I love you OG titans #bruce wayne #batman #Wonder Woman #diana prince #birdflash

You'd be surprised but the reason they keep making live action remakes is bc there are a lot of people that love them animation is still seen as the lesser form of media especially to people who aren't online that much which means I had the joy of listening to my coworkers say and I quote "Stitch is such a funny rascal in it" "there's humour for adults as well as children" "the evil scientist guys are just funny too" "I'm so happy Nani was able to go to proper school i liked that change for her character" "I can't wait for the live action how to train your dragon!"

#boston #boston harbor #ocean #city photography #seagull #seagull :)#this was near the boston tea party museum #because my friend wanted to do touristy things #and being from south america his knowledge of us history is limited to a few events but one he knew well was the tea party #and so when we got there something seemed a little amiss based on the fact that it said 'next tour 1pm'#i was like why would there be scheduled times for a museum #so we bought our tickets #and all of a sudden a spirited actor in perfect 1800's garb comes out and is like 'welcome friends to our very important protest #and it was in this horrifying moment where i realized i had just bought a $35 ticket to an interactive historical reenactment museum #to my friend he asked where he came from and then he was like 'oh our south american reinforcements for this protest'#and also we were sat in the front #so they had a guy come up being samuel adams #and he kept making direct eye contact with me #so you know what #i ate that #i was like 'well this isn't what i was planning on doing today but if duty calls it is what i will do'#i channeled my inner theatre nerd and LOCKED eyes and emphatically reacted the whole time #i was YELLING huzzah and fie and whatever else #i volunteered to 'push the tea off the ship' first #it was a good time #it was so corny but i loved every second of it highly recommend #elsewhere series

#i've been struggling to find the right words to articulate this #but everything that's happened w/ masquerade nyc has felt so in line with what we've come to expect from ALW in general and wrt his musical #like you're telling me the same guy who didn't think it was important to plan anything for the final public performance of a deeply-#-loved show that ran on broadway for 35 years also didn't plan effectively for introducing a large scale immersive production to an-#-audience that likely has 0 prior experience with immersive theater?#you're telling me the same guy who time and time again has shown a profound disrespect for the people cast in his shows by not informing-#-them that they'd be out of a job before the news went public is also opening a new show that has been extremely cagey about sharing-#-helpful information (age requirement/dates/dress code/prices etc) in a timely manner?#i know ALW is not solely and/or directly responsible for these decisions but it's His show and His company #so these Thoughts are directed at both him and the overlapping higher-level staff across the musical and immersive production #and let me add a disclaimer that i think what the minds behind masquerade nyc are trying to do creatively is super cool and i'm confident-#-that a lot of passion and dedication has gone into this project (on top of tons of hard work from everyone involved at every level)#which is partly why i think all the issues surrounding it are so frustrating to everyone. like we all want to be excited about it!#anyways none of this is really that Deep i just wanted to try and articulate my thoughts on this whole thing without getting too-#-involved in the discourse of it all . that is why i've written this 5 paragraph essay in the tags #editing this to add that none of this even touches on the issues with the production not being open about the accessibility of the venue-#-to the point where people had to DM the IG account to ask. like i get that they want to build hype based on mystery and intrigue but-#-there are certain compromises you have to make when it comes to planning and executing something of this scale
