can't believe this hasn't been said before but unhinged!scarlett and unhinged!dave would be an iconic duo. shame pi didn't get a second season bc these two in an alliance would basically succeed in destroying the island, they'd wipe everyone out

the fact that they're both versions of the nerd character so they're already smart in their own ways, the fact that they have absolutely zero fucks to give anymore, their individual darker sides have come out (whether it was hidden consciously (scarlett) or unconsciously (dave)), and they've each attempted to kill/seriously injure one or more contestant(s) (and mess up the island in the process) just to reach their end goal. imagine if these two found a common goal somehow, literally nothing could get in their paths (except possibly each other)

If I ever do a PI rewrite it will be solely because I’m obsessed with the Sky/Jasmine/Scarlett/Sammy dynamic that I’ve concocted in my head. Jasmine and Sammy are best friends but there’s also tension from Sammy’s end because she has some unresolved issues with Jasmine not standing up against Amy for her, but also Jasmine never stood up to Amy herself because she wanted Sammy to do it to boost her confidence and make her stronger because that’s how she was taught growing up: always fend for yourself and go through trials to make yourself the toughest you can be. Jasmine and Scarlett have a mutual respect thing going because they both view each other as observant and intelligent strategists, but both of them are also reluctant to call the other a friend even if they feel that way because they hate being vulnerable and don’t want a friendship to get in the way when they eventually have to turn against each other. Sky and Jasmine also respect each other, but Sky is a lot more starry-eyed and idealistic, and wants to be best friends with Jasmine who she thinks is super tough, while Jasmine really likes her too but is afraid that the game will eventually destroy her because Sky is so nice and wants to win so badly and can’t do that without hurting people along the way which will either crush her or change her, and eventually Sky resents how Jasmine is so strong but refuses to be everyone’s hero like she tries to make herself. Sammy is hesitant to befriend Scarlett because Scarlett never had a problem with Amy beyond finding her kind of stupid (albeit entertaining), but she’s also confused because Scarlett knew and kept her secret, and she’s also concerned for Scarlett because it doesn’t seem like she really knows how to bond with people or care about anything non-intellectual; meanwhile Scarlett finds Sammy weak and pathetic, but also can’t find anything to genuinely dislike about her, and has to fight the urge to protect her or let her teasing and advice turn into legit kindness. Sammy and Sky are friends, and Sky wants to protect Sammy, and Sammy thinks Sky is super nice, but they both run into a wall when Sammy refuses to go against Jasmine and Scarlett and starts becoming her own person and almost resents how Sky treats her as some kicked puppy. And Scarlett and Sky are a classic hero/villain dynamic, and Scarlett loves to tease Sky and thinks she’s ridiculous, and Sky hates everything that Scarlett stands for, but they also really admire each other and understand each other and might’ve been friends in another life and they can relate to each other’s need to be the best and they’re kind of obsessed with each other ngl. Alas this is not real. But what if? Come. Take my hand
