I don't know if you mean that you are going to drop substack completely but if you have like 70 subscribers there it does not mean that they are going to migrate to patreon, would you post the free content there still?
Maybe, maybe not.
Part of the reason I made this change was because I've heard a few warning bells going off regarding Substack getting cozy with Elon Musk and his version of 'free speech.' It's why I was looking for alternatives in the first place. I know a lot of great writers are on there because of the ease of the platform. Dracula Daily is on there! Even Robert Reich! But I worry about where the platform might slip as the next four years of the Fuckening wears on. And being a Patreon member is still very much free (likewise most of my material). It'll just be easier on my end to make a little money in the tip jar that way.
