So I've been watching Kamen Rider Kiva over the past few weeks....About 10 episodes in, it's a treat. First episode is available on Youtube, go watch it. An idea seized me as I was wrapping up work tonight. In Kiva there is this fellow who shows up right at the end of episode 1 Castle Doran

Me being me, I thought "But what if a Digimon?" You've got your 'Transport' Types, but what if there was a 'Shelter' sub type ala El Doradimon? What if being a 'dragon' it's 'horde' is the group of Digidestined and partners it chooses to protect, acting as a moblie home base and growing in strength as the other Digimon in the group do? Well, I don't know exactly what year it will be released... I'm still underage and I still don't even know how to program properly! So... With that, the game will take time to be released, probably only when I'm an adult (which will take 8 years to happen...)

At least I know some studios that I could work with, like Orube Game Studio, but they make free games for everyone and Brazil School Simulator is not in that category...

However, the easiest option for me is without a doubt Unity! A program made to literally create games! This is really cool!

Umm…so if you’ve been following me for a while you might remember about a year ago my best friend effectively blocked me on everything and said it was because I was a horrible and toxic person. She reached back out a while ago but I wasn’t ready to talk then. We talked some today over Snapchat. She apologized saying that because she moved to a new city at that time and was trying to adjust while suffering from mental health problems that she felt unheard and fell into victimhood but after several months she understood her mistake and felt bad about what she did.

I don’t know what to do now. I’m not angry anymore since it’s been nearly a year but I feel very hollow knowing that she was just unhappy with her circumstances and took it out on me to feel better. She wants to be friends again but I’m not sure I want that. It’s not about her apology because it felt sincere enough. I’m think I’m scared knowing that if she becomes unhappy again that she’ll happily cause me as much emotional pain as possible while exiting my life just so she feels better about herself.

Anyways sorry that all got so very long. I just wanted to let you all know what’s going on right now if seem unresponsive or slow. Thread replies are all drafted for the time being until I can get myself centered again. I may try to work on my ask box but I don’t know. Once again sorry about all the emotional ooc stuff. Day 2

Here I am again failing in my resolution of writing & journalling daily. Also I didn't like the idea of countdown days, so I changed it to ascending order.

I am really feeling low, but the saddest part is I even don't know why I am feeling this. I have a very important exam on 18th of Jan which will decide my future course of action, but I feel I am not putting my best foot forward for the same.

Its a once in a lifetime opportunity. I know many students were not able to reach the stage I am right now, So for that I am thankful to the Supreme Force.

Whats in my hand is to give my 100% and leave all other uncontrollable factors to the Force. Today's day does not went as planned.

There is a problem with my routine. I start my day on a very high note. I am an early bird so I get up early, do some exercise & meditation and start my study with all enthusiasm.

The problem starts after Breakfast, I feel dousy, then I open my phone to kill the time & it takes all my productive time. Same thing happens after lunch which eats up all my afternoon time.

Second problem apart from time management is priority. As I mentioned the Exam is approaching, but I am preparing for the exam which is in May and ignoring the work at hand.

To solve these problems, I have few suggestions-

Try to fix your tomorrow's schedule beforehand (Daily Accountability Sheet) - I will download Notion for it

Try to eat less and drink more water - I will not eat rice in the afternoon, only 3 chapatis in the afternoon; For Dinner only 3 chapatis & little rice

Keep your Moblie Phone on focussed mode - Use Forest App

I will adhere to my solutions and see if it helps or not..

I have been looking at Alexander Calders hung installations, using abstract objects, shadows light and space. These peices of artwork he calls moblies are a way he explores space. His metal forms appear to be flaoting weightlessly in space. He has used mechanical motors and manualy manouvered his wire structures in the past. Including making It a peice of performance art. Later he would make his mobliles so finely ballanced they would move buy natural movement of air. I would like my work to take on that natural movement it fits with my thinking of something unseen in space moving an objcet. It show a comnnection between the physical and metaphysical. One of the reasons Calder chose to make mobiles was he wanted to take his work off the floor, presenting his work as if floating, freeing them from physical constraints, Allowing them to exist in space.

Interaction with objects floating in space and moving shaddow is developing thinking by questioning ,why, how, and what is happening. Why is the light different at distance from the object, why is one shadow more defined then another. This leads me to ask the bigger question. How do we perceve our own physicality and boundaries and space we occupy with so much going on we do not see. These same questions can be asked when related to exploring self.

I bought chicken wire to make a structure to hang objects on. I wanted the acetate in close proxinity to the wall for a good projection, but also wanted to create a space between the wall and the acetate. I thought hanging the acetate in the wire structure would create a sence of floating in sapce. I added some sticks to the wire form. Thinking it may strengthen the structure and give more options positioning the acetate. The colour reflected off the white sticks changing their colour within the structures nicely. I painted the wire to merge visualy with the white wall, making it less noticable.

I felt not enough light was in the structure, I could posibly control and move light using a string of decorative light. It lit the sticks well but flooded the whole thing with light that cancled out some of the other light and shaddow affects. It looked over decorative and unorigonal with the string of lights.

One of the best result I had can be seen in the image with the large red triangular projection. When the light was close to the acetate and corner. It showed the affect of coloured light interacting with more space. I tried to replicate it in college but the location and light did not get the same results. i had less control of light in the studio.

Similar to the previous experiment with holes in a can with light. Some good results which could be used in a projection came from looking down the centre hole of the chicken wire roll. The disadvantage to this is to film it. My camera has to cover the hole in the middle if the wire roll. It is dificult to know what is being captured by the lense .These images a screen shots and moving image taken while moving the light produced the best affect. I would have to make lots of videos to be edited cropped and pasted to make a decent length of film. Editing colour in the film is an option to consider . Although I am more drawn to natural movement in my work rather than introducing a moving film now. The natural movement in Alexander Calders mobile feels more in tune with the natural processes in sapce.

I wanted to explore the asestate further by changing its form. To learn more about its visual properties. I began by hanging the acetate forms to a wall. Moving the light around I can change the shape of the shadow to make a nice composition. Although having the work directly on the wall seems quite restricctive as I am exploring space. i decided to hang the work on a pole across the corner with lights to create the shadow, this gave a flaoting feel to the experement that can be relate to my concept.

Unpopular opinion but mk12/mk1 isn't a good game just because it has a few nice things in it.

Graphics are supposed to be the bare minimum of what's good in a game.

You can ignore a shitty story. Most of the time.

But when your gameplay is shit,people have been complaining about it since its release.

If you have to constantly patch your game over shit that should have been done better or functional from the beginning. That's bad.

Like they have to do this to make IT BARELY FUNCTIONAL!

That's not a good game.

Just because your blorbo fave character is in it and you think he/she/they are "cool" doesn't make it a good game.

Shang is in it. I love shang. Heck shang is the only good thing about the game and its a fucking mid ass half assed shang tsung and a waste of potential and time and money for the character. And honestly a waste of talent for mr. Alan lee. Can argue it's the same how i felt with artt butler as shang in the animated mk legends movies.

But does it make it a good game? FUCK NO.

In fact it makes me hate it more.

Not to mention the kameos and game mechanics that legitimately NOONE ASKED FOR!

Nobody on here plays,has played,or genuinely cares about mk beyond superficial reasons.

Been an mk fan since i was in my tweens,10-12yrs old. (I was admittedly a bit young for this series but i actually grew up with good parents who taught me to use my brain and right from wrong and self responsiblity. But thats got another day)

I've seen the ups n down,decline and increase. But after i feel nrs blew their budget on mk11 and a moblie game app.

Mk12/mk1 suffers because of this.

And rebooting after you just basically rebooted. Is not good.

Adding timeline shenanigans like your a knockoff mcu. Is also what killed it.

After mk9,they shouldn't have done any more of that.

Mk11 should have been the end of it. Period.

Every single fan i have seen. Talked to. Observed. Watched vids on. Says that mk12/mk1 sucks. Soley because of the way the game plays. Storymode is hit or miss 50/50. Honestly i think its shit but that's just me. Y'all have your own thoughts and opinions. Valid just as much. But when the gameplay,the games meat n potatoes is barely functional. That's how you know its gimmicky and loses touch.

Not to mention. They want a shitton of money for it. The base vanilla is 70+ bucks. Plus 100 for dlcs and special petty shit that doesn't really do anything but make a character pretty.

If your gonna have customization. Make it actually functional.

Mk11 was getting there. But nrs backtracked.

Again. Mk12/mk1 sucks but for actually legitimate reasons beyond personal gripes. And anyone who says otherwise is lying and going off of hype and doesn't wanna admit that they bought it for superficial reasons.

I will at least admit i only bought mk11 because of tagawa reprising his role as shang tsung after many years. And being pleasantly surprised by the customization and things to keep you busy. Some things are less to be desired. But it's an entertaining game at the end of the day. Is it perfect? No. Its mid. But at least i can follow the storymode,not get completely confused,it's fun,and the gameplay is FUNCTIONING! and the kyrpt has shit in it i can actually use. And it doesn't crash every two seconds anymore.

Again. Just my thoughts.

All y'all entitled to your own opinions but at the end of the day mk12/mk1 is not worth the money. And not worth the effort or time.

Even with the very little things that may be just ok about it.

You're better off playing mk11 despite it's problems. At least the game despite being mid (minus shang tsung,nightwolf and fujin. They rock. And honestly saved that game from being thrown into the toilet. And nrs trying the catch the same high is embarrassing) mk11 at least functions.
