Also before I nap I have decided I have beef with Tumblr. People have left nice tags on some of my posts (the art posts are what sparked this thought you guys are so nice 😭😭😭), and they make me happy, but I don't know of any way to say "I saw what you said, thank you!" besides like tagging people in a post, or liking their reblog, and I don't think that's normal Tumblr etiquette.

I might be autistic, I might suck at face-to-face interaction, but you don't understand, Tumblr. I am from the Appalachia mountain region. Not the deep south, but it is the south, funny drawl, "bless your heart"s and all. If I hear a southern accent for five seconds, I will have my accent triggered and suddenly sound like an extra from The Andy Griffith Show. And by golly, when you teach an autistic Appalachian kid that you should say thank you when someone gives you a compliment, it becomes Law, Tumblr. You don't have to look 'em in the eye, you don't even have to really stop what you're doing, but you Have to say Thank You. It is INSTINCT. THEMS DA RULEZ.

Anyway, I've decided we need something like the boop button that leaves something like a "hey, [so and so] says thank you for the nice tags!" in your notifications. The button to send it should be next to the note about "[a different so and so] reblogged your post" like a reply button. I feel like it could help spread some needed kindness. Lord knows we could all use that right now.
