just went on twitter and the first thing i see is people defending and glorifying a serial killer,,,
#🌙#🧸#nuance is dead#people are incapable of understanding that bad things often happen to bad people but that doesn't justify their actions in the slightest -_#and that being able to empathise (even sympathise) with aforementioned bad people doesn't translate to an obligation to defend them#(the same people will often refuse to extend empathy to anyone /they/ have decided to be evil. so this whole thing is even worse)#((and they will often be aggressive to those who're interested in true crime because it's “amoral” to discuss such things#except when it's them who saw a tiktok on some situation and suddenly decided they wanted to bring the topic up and spread misinformation))
