#kh#kingdom hearts#marluxia#marluxia kh#my art#he's so awesome! i honestly love all the org members so far#they're interesting and i like their designs. they look like rockstars#i don't know how it is in recom but i played gba and the first fight against him is TOUGH#i feel like especially in late game gba. you get punished for not understanding how the system works#it peaks with the marluxia boss fight#after barely doing any significant damage to him and dying repeatedly. i discovered the Secret Technique#(arranging your deck for easy Sonic Blade and 0 access (the more the better))#and defeated him pretty quickly#his second fight was pretty underwhelming to me in terms of difficulty#since he used very few sleights it was mostly a matter of timing 0s well#him piloting the giant heartless was super cool though!#i know that second fight was the “real” him and first fight was just an illusion. but in any other game you'd think it'd be the reverse hah#my epic fact is that a friend and i have different headcanons for marluxia#i thought he was a trans man but she thought she was a trans woman#i now believe that marluxia is simultaneously taking estrogen and testosterone to become the Ultimate Gender. we just can't see it#it's like shrodinger's gender. marluxia could be a trans man or trans girl#marluxia may be forced into one category or another but until then they exist as both at once. free from binary categorization#much like their status as a nobody

I know I’ve said this before, I just can’t remember if it was on here or on discord and I don’t feel like scrolling back through my posts, so: We got the full and complete journey
of the specific shipment of spice
that the Martez sisters were carrying around in season seven of The Clone Wars
continued over into The Bad Batch. Just because.
I really don’t think that we’re leaving Rex, Echo, the clones as a whole, or even Crosshair, Wrecker (or, yes, Tech) dangling forever.
#Rex and Echo I think have the most clearly unfinished bits#but I’m including Wrecker and Crosshair here because#they’ve got unresolved arcs#Crosshair in particular demonstrated that even though he grew over the course of season three#he hasn’t really moved past thinking he deserves to more or less be tortured to death#he hasn’t really faced his problem#and there’s no indication he’s dealt with his trauma#and we don’t see him or wrecker in the epilogue so we don’t know if they’re even okay#are they thriving or are they (mostly Crosshair) barely functioning?#because honestly I could see Wrecker just crashing out now that the immediate threat of#the immediate threat of the empire being after his little sister is gone#and he’s got nothing to distract him#and of course I will always argue that Tech has an unfinished arc and is on his way back#because the fall doesn’t work with his arc unless it’s a fakeout#and that mountain of hinting and foreshadowing didn’t cease to exist at the end of the show (in fact it just keeps hinting)#Star Wars is an open canon and while I prefer self-contained shows#TBB just ain’t one of them#clone wars season seven wasn’t#and I do not think the Maul show will be#really I think what we’re looking at is a situation where the largest unit of storytelling is this whole era of animated shows#with a larger overarching story and nested/interconnected arcs linking between individual shows and their POV shifts#I’ve absolutely given up trying to predict the timing of when things will happen because I’m always wrong about that#(I was wrong about the timing of crosshair’s redemption arc too—I thought he was going to be back with the batch#a full season and a half before he finally got there)#but I still think we’re seeing how Rex ends up in Seelos and where Echo ends up and that Tech’s alive etc#we’re just not there yet#also I want to add that if this is the case#then marketing these things as standalone was a huge self-inflicted error on the part of the marketing team#we could have used the ‘seeing how these arcs all come together/where it’s going’ talk from the animation panel at celebration#to start with

GRAPPLING WITH CRIPPLING INSOMNIA QUICK POST BATMAN FANFIC
(Reverse Robins, with Tim as the red hood)
“You kill,” Cass hisses. “Like him.”
“I’m not doing anything that they haven’t done to someone else.” Hood’s voice is hard, unrepentant.
She strides forward to jab him in the chest. “Is that supposed to make it okay? Am I supposed to forgive you?” She sounds almost heartbroken. “You remember Batman. Is this better?”
Jason doesn’t know what she means, but Hood clearly does. His lips thin. “You can’t seriously be comparing this to that. He killed me.”
“Two wrongs do not make a right.”
“I don’t care about being right. I don’t expect you to understand.”
“You used to be so sweet, big brother.” She reaches up to touch his face, and Jason watches him lean into it before he realizes what he’s doing and wrenches away from her.
“Yeah, well, things change. People change.”
“Not that much.” It’s sad, quiet. “You know I can’t forgive this.”
“I really don’t care.”
“You do.”
He doesn’t dignify that with a response, instead turning away to make his escape. She starts to follow but instead is tackled by three bodies, and has to turn to fight them. Jason tries to help, but she’s pretty much got it on her own. When it’s clear they’re losing the assassins fall back, and Jason tries to chase them, but Cass snags him by the cape and holds him back. When they turn around the Red Hood is long gone.
Cass has her fists clenched, and her shoulders are shaking. Jason doesn’t know whether it’s anger or sadness, but he steps forward to offer her comfort.
She steps away and shakes her head.
He’s always known Tim and Cass were close, but it was a distant thought to him, something he never thought he’d witness. Seeing the two of them in person was like looking through a funhouse mirror, warped and twisted until all that was left was a huge, grinning shadow.
There’s laughter in his nightmares that night.

Tbh, I don’t understand why Sepha didn’t just send Malbonte - not Bont or Mal, Malbonte - down to Earth, as a fallen angel, to be with his parents? Like, he wouldn’t have ever been able to come back, right? So it’d ‘solve the threat.’
I mean, I guess the answer is just ‘plot,’ but it’s a boring answer. The little bit we got of Sepha, I got the impression he’s not even able to grasp his own cruelty—like he doesn’t try to be, yet still is, anyway. And I guess part of that makes sense, with him being an unbelievably ancient deity and all, but it doesn’t explain his actions about Malbonte, when Earth was right there.

pulps law is that whenever i get insane enough about something, i will inevitably attempt to make a persona 5 au, regardless of whether or not i am successful at it.
#pulp speaks#anyways guys youre never going to guess what au ive been thinking of lately .#i know the correct way to go about this is make sidestep the main character but you see#i will not be doing that. and actually in fact i will not be following the storyline of persona 5 in the slightest. because lol#but morgana exists in this au purely because i dont think the others would survive without him explaining what the metaverse is 💀#the rangers are a team of detective for the public sector in this au#and dr mortum is an unassuming everyday scientist that should not peak the rangers interest in any way. at all#in the video game that exists in my head the player can pick between playing julia or ricardo#it doesnt change the storyline that much but it does make the character relationships funky so#in my head chen is best friends with julia and argent is best friends with ricardo#chen and ortega stumble into the metaverse together so if you pick julia its two best friends in a life or death situation#but if you pick ricardo its your sisters best friend+kinda your boss in a life or death situation which personally i find extremely funny#regardless of which ortega you play with the other one doesnt know about the metaverse until id say like. the end of the first palace? beca#use thats when they start getting suspicious#and because this is ortega they follow them and find out about the metaverse that way#i dont think they become a phantom thief but i think they do end up covering the others asses irl#dr mortum still isnt actually a doctor but i think theyre the one providing medicine to them at the start of the game#theyre extremely wary of the rangers at the start and ortega can barely convince them to sell them things which they still charge-#-extremely high over. i think the turning point comes when they discover the metaverse because holy fuck they are So excited about it#both because of the implications and what the metaverse could be used For#chen is not thrilled about letting them know this but theyre kind of their supplier so its not like he can argue#i think mortum joins the phantom thieves eventually but as a navi#obviously its in their best interest to provide everything for free now that theyre part of the team but they still have to order supplies-#-so i think the way it works out in game is that theres certain days supplies can be ordered and you have to pay for it but the items can b#-picked up at any day of the week#but also i have no idea how that would work practically (its all in my head anyway so it doesnt actually matter but yk)#theres still more thoughts about this but im ✨running out of tags✨ and also i cannot organize my thoughts enough to explain it#im not main tagging this its going to be my silly self indulgent au for eternity ok

Finally got around to finishing the second nugget batch, this time featuring several favorite children and the absolute least favorite child <3
#keese draws#oc art#lobotomy corporation#lobotomy corporation oc#lob corp oc#I don’t dislike any of my nuggets. but ray (double buns) is the nugget I neglect the hardest#it’s to the point I’d say to not consider this design canon yet they genuinely have nothing going on in my brain as side from being in#proximity of the rest of the disciplinary team all of which I do have thoughts abt#and all of these guys are pretty senior in my facility they’re not the most senior but ray has existed for a long while#to be fair. several other characters here were also pretty badly neglected for a long time. mainly piper and river#but river is a favorite child now and piper is a part of the like only friend group in my facility now#anyways I’m definitely less happy with these than the last batch but I was sick when I drew like half of them so I give myself a pass#but yeah in order we have emma (she/her) piper (he/they) jacob (he/him) christopher (she/her) river (he/him) ray (they/them) anton (she/her)#hoon (she/they) and sanchez (any)#ofc I’ve drawn river anton and sanchez before and I’ve talked abt all the others aside from ray but still#shout out to hoon in particular I’ve barely talked abt her but I’ve been thinking abt her a decent amount lately#she and sanchez are the only pair of siblings in my facility who are just sort of chilling#the plancks have a dead one and the bells include saxxly#but these two get along well and are having a surprisingly ok time at lob corp despite everything surrounding them#like they’re in the extraction team and their fellow tramates include a girl who murdered a man and stole his identity and a girl who has#beaten her sister to death several times#and yet. they’re genuinely not doing too bad. they’re even kinda enjoying themselves.#hoon is having a less fine time as the realist of the two but this still is kinda just another job to them#the main thing with the two is that they’ve been hopping from situation to situation with little consequence for a good while now#they’ve never really felt in any real danger before and that doesn’t change at lob corp#in fact due to how my facility works it gets worse really as they basically can’t die#so while hoon tries to be the realist and the down to earth one her own perception of the situation is also quite skewed#many in the facility probably would see her as not taking anything seriously and kinda living in her own world#this can be especially seen in how she allows and even encourages sanchez’s stupid nuclear family roleplay with their fellow team members#they don’t even realize how fucked the rest of their team is they just think it’s funny they go along with it

Finished watching Kamen Rider Hibiki. What a deeply beautiful coming of age story about a struggling teenaged boy and his silly demon man surrogate father figure who’s trying to help him on his journey. Hm? What do you mean they made 19 more episodes

Sometimes, I really want an animated show about the OT characters. Their adventures, serious and silly, as they become friends and family long before Luke and Leia discover that they're siblings. Stories about Leia struggling with going from princess to general. Luke struggling with being a Jedi and a commander. The Rogue Squadron and their adventures. Han and Chewie barely keeping up with the Space Twin shenanigans.
But, then I remember how each of these characters were treated in the Sequel Trilogy, and I realise that it doesn't matter. No amount of stories about them will change the fact that they all die alone away from each other, that they gave up their childhood, their homes, themselves to the safety of the galaxy and that none of it ever mattered. And I can't enjoy canon stories about them because it won't change their ending, and I can't forget that.

Terribly upset that I am willing to put so much love and effort into a relationship and people aren't willing to put in slightly more than the bare minimum for me
#just salty about it. do people still say salty. thats the first time ive said it in quite awhile#anyway#i have problems with my body. my body is thr equivalent of a house that someone wanted to save money on#so they had their second cousin do the wiring. and now an actual electrician is walking around just shaking their head#the actual electrician is my doctors who are horrified at whats going on in there#but because i have shoddy wiring. people have to put a little more effort in than the bare minimum. its crazy#tmi sex mention ahead#there are various things that make it slightly different for me to have sex. not impossible. not even difficult really. just different#but do you think people are willing to work with those differences? nope. again its not impossible or even really difficult#but also one of the issues technically could be fixed. i dont want to fix it. it would be painful and difficult and i dont mind the issue#but people im with all want me to fix the issue. 'just fix the issue' no this is my body and i am not changing it for a 2 month relationship#also i got that long covid which drains my energy. stamina and endurance dont exist. so if i go on a walk or whatever#i need to rest more often than most people. again i can walk or be out. i just cant stand very long and need to take more breaks#it doesnt make things impossible or even too difficult. just different#am i crazy? am i asking for too much? for someone to love me enough to put in the effort to work with my differences?#i feel crazy considering why most of my exes have left#first- cuz im trans second- i left him we just werent a good match#third-cuz im trans fourth- changed her mind about a lot of shit really suddenly so ee no longer aligned#fifth- started as a long distnace relationship. knew that was the deal. decided she didnt like it#but tbh i wanted to leave her bcuz she didnt put any love care or effort into the relationship and i hated it#i think im going to become a nun actually. i think legally god has to love me no matter what#and he is in fact the electrician that fucked up the house of my body so it only seems fair#im realizing my explanation of my 4th ex doesnt explain it all. literally very siddenly she said she felt trapped#she said she didnt see a future with me and when i moved she wanted to open up the relationship#and another part of her wanting to open it was bcuz my body doesnt work the way she wanted it to for sex#so after literally three years after saying she wanted to marry me and such. literally a couple months after we discussed marriage#she dropped all of that shit on me. so i wasted three years there. im tired of relationships#im tired of this grandpa!#my exes and future partners: thats too damn bad!!

#megaman starforce#is so…. easy….#it makes me a lil sad#I’ll never be that kid who spent years trying to beat the game and growing up with it steadily again#I don’t really know what point I’m trying to make w this#I guess I’m just mourning my childhood and youth/the naivety innocence simplicity of the past#I guess it’s just bittersweet to look back and see how much I’ve changed in 10 years#we’re barely the same person anymore-we don’t even have the same name#it’s just this love for this moderately unpopular niche within a niche game that connects us#I still think the game aesthetics and setting are the coolest fucking thing on earth ok#on another note the story in sf1 is just so peak#ryucoded af I really did not expect that. kid me wouldn’t have related but the present me sure does#it’s funny… returning to a childhood game-a gift that my kid self gives me to in the future-and finding myself in it too#it reminds me a lot of the things I used to love/I still love them but it’s been a while since I’ve thought abt it#I was pretty into Danny phantom too growing up#I really loved stories of heroism and kid heroes having to hide their identities#actually I was huge into dp I watched it every night without fail#if I had found the dp fandom earlier I would most definitely be a different person#kid heroes-> it’s kinda messing me up actually oh man geo is ELEVEN 😭he really is just a kid…#I too used to be 11 like him and had childish dreams about being a hero#guess you lose the magic and delusions of grandeur when you get older and reality sets in#another reason I’m glad I played mmsf as a kid#I’m trying desperately to find the mmsf amv and let’s play that I used to watch as a kid but ough#I found some but not all…. was it removed…?#sad 😔😔it’s a part of my childhood that will only exist in my memories I suppose#ough at the end of it all I just sincerely wish this game had gotten more love#fandom so small I can’t even find people to talk to#if anything I’m glad that at the very least the story was wrapped up nicely by sf3#and the fact that it’s the last game before their hiatus just makes it slightly funny. I still mourn sf4 tho.#I really hope for a starforce legacy collection-!!!
