every winter i hate that

it takes over a minute for the kitchen tap to get hot water

the bathroom sink has the cold water tap separate to the hot water tap, and these taps are like 45ish cm apart, which means in winter you WILL wash your hands with freezing cold water

#to mitigate no. 2 sometimes when it's very very cold i'll wash my hands using the shower #and to mitigate no. 1... turn the tap on in advance if you know you're gonna be doing it. and then do something else for a minute #sigh #australia why #me.txt #that airbnb in canberra was so good though #EXCELLENT heating. excellent hot water summoning in taps. excellent sound insulation #the neighbour right next door had a screaming baby which you could hear in the corridor #but once inside the apartment you couldn't hear anything anymore. fantastic
