The cafe normally didn’t take in volunteers for full work days, but after a call from some person that really didn’t explain themselves too well, Clorica found herself taking someone under her wing. for lack of better phrasing. She didn’t think she was in the position to teach someone - as she was often too modest - but the person had insisted. from reviews of the cafe and the staff, they felt it was the perfect place for the woman to work, given a few guidelines to protect her privacy and safety. It was all part of the business to keep the actors and actresses safe.

The day chosen was one of the cafe’s late days, where they didn’t open until noon. She felt it would be better to start the actress slow than push her right from the start. And right as the clock struck the hour of opening, the brunette was there standing at the entrance. “You must be Lillie,” she smiled. “I’m Clorica, the owner.”

Lillie nervously smoothed out her skirt, trying to smooth out her nerves along with the fabric. She didn’t think it was working, but she sure hoped her nervousness didn’t show on her face. She’d done method acting before, in all sorts of different roles. But there was something about having to be an employee of a maid cafe that really made her nervous. It wasn’t fun.

Her lips curved upwards in a smile as she saw the lavender-haired woman. She introduced herself as the owner. That meant she would be under her wing for the day. And hey, if this worked out, maybe she could even pick up a second job. Lord knows she needed one with how little income she was making as it was.

She had to envy all those actors and actresses that made so much money they didn’t know what to do with it. But that just didn’t seem to be Lillie’s lot in life. Oh well. She was happy nonetheless.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Clorica,” she said. “And you got it right. I’m Lillie Mayflower. Sorry for intruding on your business.”
