#going on a trip soon so i won't be able to draw or write much for a while#chrobin#robin fire emblem#chrom fire emblem#megg arts#pokemon#fire emblem awakening#fea#fe13#fe pokemon au#aegislash (Falchion lol) is Chrom's ace but funnily enough I don't think it's his favorite#he has a lucario he's very fond of u_u#and a herdier he adores. not for competitive battles but they go jogging together in the morning and it's a very affectionate family dog#HE'S A DOG PERSON OKAY#OH and he definitely has a mausehold that he caught while visiting Robin in Paldea#these two actually have a lot of pokemon they catch together but. that's another post.#Robin's raichu is her favorite tho (her name is Thoron hehe)#she's had her since she was a pichu and she's always on the team forever Chrom has to make space for Thoron in their bed#ah yes me my wife and her 3 foot tall electric mouse#Robin's research revolves around friendship and considering battle applications my first thought was the affection mechanic#how pokemon will literally push beyond their limits if they have a strong bond with you#but looking at all the pokemon that evolve via friendship a lot of them are baby pokemon#and honestly there's A LOT to study there#like. baby pokemon were initially only obtainable via breeding. aka in captive care#IMAGINE. an animal develops a whole ass LIFE STAGE that is weaker and more vulnerable.#just bc it trusts its trainer to take care of it....#AND it will only grow past this life stage with a lot of committed care#imagine being so loved it changes your entire physiology and life cycle#anyways *twirls hair* Professor Robin if u'r looking for a thesis advisee *winks with both eyes* what's ur university email queen
