Bird lovers 💜🐦

Despite Dellie's whole "Friendly" persona being all an act.. Surprisingly one of the few (if not, ONLY) things that make him genuinely soften up are birds! Since Coral Sea does not have creatures like them, Dellie quickly developed a soft spot for them since the day he stepped onto land and saw a pigeon for the first time.

After joining NRC, it didn't take long for people to find out about Dellie's love for birds. As he was seen befriending the wild birds from the courtyard, and even bringing a few to his dorm without anyone noticing. It was soon revealed Dellie was taking in injured birds back to his room in order to treat their wounds and help them recover, apparently he has a large bird cage, toys, and treats for his feathery friends. Even the books on his shelves are all about birds, (in a sense, Dellie with birds is like Jade with mushrooms.... except Dellie hasn't started his own bird fan club, yet)

Silver ended up befriending Dellie after he came up to him with a wounded bird he found in the greenhouse while knowing about the fact Dellie treats injured birds. Soon after, they started meeting up more often, Dellie updating him about the birds and Silver either bringing in other birds or bringing in treats for them (Tbh I don't think either of them have out loud referred to each others as friends, they're too focused on the birds)

Jamil only ended up with them because Kalim heard about Dellie and Silver bonding over birds, and so in his classic Kalim way he just shoved Jamil towards them like "Jamil also loves birds!! Parrots specifically". And so Dellie without any hesitation grabbed Jamil by the arm, dragged him to his room to show off the ones he's currently taken care, and of course talk about them with him and Silver. On a little sweeter note, after Dellie heard that Jamil loves parrots and would love to have one as a pet (specifically a red macaw), Dellie promised Jamil if he ever ends up taking care of a red macaw, he'd immediately call him over and let him help take care of it.

In conclusion if you ever want to experience what's the closest thing to an actual friendship would be like with Dellie, get a bird involved, and that's where you'll forget you're talking to a wolf in sheep's clothing with how soft he'll suddenly get when a feathery little thing is in his vicinity

aryu and tokimitsu are so special to me actually

#tokimitsu picking up styl/glam/osha as a manner of speech from him in canon is so cute.#but also i read tokimitsu's egoist bible profile and like. ougghhh. he is so unconfident. i think he thinks aryu is really cool #because he thought aryu was weird at first (he still does‚ a bit) but he admires how unapologetically himself aryu is and wishes he could be #like that. tokimitsu has never worn nail polish in his life and keeps his jair at that length because it's a Normal length no one would #judge him for. and then he meets all these freaks in blue lock who are not scared like he is. but aryu specifically is so flamboyant and #Unashamed it's just incredible to him.#and tokimitsu is like a scraggly baby pigeon to aryu. not quite glam but endearing. they've bonded.#actually aryu would probably rest a hand on tokimitsu's shoulder and be like 'you have strong muscles like a beautiful racehorse. that is #so glam of you.' to which tokimitsu is baffled but a little flattered. anyway i think aryu makes tokimitsu look at pictures of horses. and #they listen to music together. i think they would enjoy each other's favorite songs. and of course aryu would convince tokimitsu to let him #paint his nails so he can stop biting them (it's not stylish). tokimitsu wants to hide his hands afterward but cant help but notice how #his hands aren't so bad to look at with emerald green nail polish on them. it feels nice.#Where did this come from. I like checking out clown car animation styles so I watched that new teenage kraken movie and honestly I cannot explain how fresh the whiplash is every time I see Jaboukie credited as one of the main roles. Just like..."JABOUKIE?"

y'know what... im not so sure practicing and working at a specific form of art until i get good is my style... i think im more of a Let's Try Everything kinda guy (for example today i bought a bunch of cheap tempera paint and kiddie brushes and stuff to paint metal sonic because why not)

#i know my drawing skill won't reach the levels of literally any artist i admire but that's okay i have other artistic avenues to pursue #i can also be not nearly good enough at sewing. and embroidery. and painting rubber ducks.#actually that last one's pretty niche maybe i could be relatively decent #but point is. i need to learn not to equate not very good at something with this is a waste of time i give up #as long as i can derive at least some enjoyment from it i guess i ought to continue #im so goddamn tired what time is it #nearly 12 am ok no wonder im losing the thread of what im talking about #how do you people stay up till 3 or 4 am #anyway #pigeon coos #theoretically i could keep practicing drawing and all that and eventually i will actually like it #instead of being frustrated by it 99% of the time #but like. do i even want to. yes it would be nice drawing is one of the artistic skills it would be best to master if any of them #but do i want to go through the misery #is it worth

state fair take two

#went all day yesterday instead of just a couple hours so i got to see Everything #but i didn't see the Big Pumpkin maybe there just wasn't a Big Pumpkin this year #anyway. for the curious the hats are for the steers that get roped on the horns to protect their ears #i think they're cute #also in the small animal barn we showed up just in time to watch the BIS judging for the rabbit show haha #a beveren won! i think it's the same bev that's been obliterating youth in our area lately. really nice doe #someone had pigeons for sale for very cheap and i waaaaanted themmmmm sob when will i have my new loft 😭#idk what to tag this but uhhh #evergreen state fair #i guess i can do that
