How insane is it that, while in the prepping stages of the job, Eames seemed to be the one constantly seeking out Arthur, trying to get a reaction out of him, to catch his attention (only for him to shy away from it when he finally has it in the I'm impressed scene), but during the actual heist, while dreaming and with emotions running high and real stakes, it's Arthur the one who exposes himself the most, revealing every bit of his actual feelings he usually keeps on a tight leash (he's the one who yells frantically ARE YOU ALRIGHT? before knowing there was real danger and the one who seeks a few semi-private seconds with Eames before separating)?

They have a far more complex deeper and more well-oiled dynamic than we were ever allowed to see. Because these are their tells, tells that show their feelings but also are tailored in who they are, their personalities and knowledge of what the other needs, and never once a gesture has taken the other by surprise, be it Eames' chair kick or Arthur helping with the IV line (but maybe for Arthur’s I'm impressed, that maybe surprised Eames because such open appreciation in front of colleagues wasn't part of their usual 'script').
