~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When you had gotten back to class after running after your brother, you were met with a barrage of questions from your friends. Things such as “what happened?” “who died?” and “are you okay?”

You’d just brushed it off, saying you were feeling silly. “What do you mean you were feeling silly!?” Kaminari gawks at you, unconvinced.

You shrug, smiling mysteriously. “Turns out it was a false alarm.”

“You said ‘he’s gonna kill him!’ and begged Aizawa sensei to let you leave— what false alarm could it possibly be?”

“A false one.”

Sero groans. “You really are a smartass sometimes…”

“Ehe.”

“Don’t you ‘ehe’ me!”

You raised your brow at Neito’s message, looking over at his table. He’s usually more discreet than texting you while eating lunch with his friends. Then you remember that 1-B now knows about your relationship with him thanks to this morning’s incident. There’s no need to be secretive now. >> “<3”

>> “i’ll take that as a yes then”

You stand in front of 1-B’s dorm building, staring at the door with growing apprehension. Sure, you’d been there before. Several late night conversations with your boyfriend, but only ever through the window of their common room. You’d never actually been inside to meet with him. Your palms are getting sweaty, so you rub them on your pants.

I wonder what his classmates think of me… That’s the biggest thing in your mind. You feel like you know them through Neito, always talking fondly of them. Not the bragging he usually does with your classmates. The thoughtful— sincere, side of him shines through when he shares his experience with his class with you. You reckon he’s nervous too. Two of what he loves having a formal meeting. You must’ve been been standing there a while, because someone catches sight of you from the window and hurriedly runs to the door.

“Togata-san, you’re here for Monoma, right?” a boy with a braid, whom you recognize as Rin opens the door. He smiles politely at you, which you return immediately.

“Yeah,” you nod. That sounded a lot more curt than you hoped, so you spluttered to say more. “Ah— um..! Thanks for getting the door. Rin-san, right? Neito talks a lot about you and your classmates so I know a lot about you guys— w-wait, not like in a creepy way I mean— a good way? Um…” I wanna ask Honenuki-san to bury me in the earth… Rin blinks. He chuckles softly, waving his hand. “Ah, yeah, I get it. Please come in.”

You shut your mouth, only muttering a small, “thank you” while you look down in embarrassment. Rin just smiles and leads you into the dorm. Class 1-B’s building isn’t so different from 1-A’s. It’s the same interior and layout, which you were expecting.

“Togata-san’s here, where’s Monoma?” Rin asks as you enter the lounge area. On the couch were Kaibara, Kamakiri, Tsubaraba, and Tetsutetsu.

“Last time I checked, he’s in his room,” Kaibara shrugs, looking over the couch. He makes eye contact with you. “Hey Togata, welcome to 1-B dorm.”

You smile and wave at the boys peeking over the couch, gulping down your nervousness.

Tetsutetsu sat up and cups his hand over his mouth in the direction of the staircase. “Lover boy..! Togata’s here!!! Like— your Togata, not the scary upperclassman.”

“Oh! Togata’s here?” Turning around, you see Tokage and Kodai approaching you. “Kendo’s not here right now, so in her stead I’ll say this— make yourself at home! You’re welcome over here.”

“Thank you,” you scratch your cheek, which is heating up from everyone’s eyes on you. “I’m happy to be here.”

The girls sit down over at the other couch, Tokage patting the spot beside her. “C’mon, have a seat!”

Hm, Neito seems to be talking a while, so… “Sure.” You set down the small bag you brought on the floor in front of you as you sit down. It was filled with snacks Neito and you both like, as well as your water bottle. Tokage looks at you and grins. “Mind if we ask stuff about you and Monoma? We’re curious.”

“We tried asking him earlier, but was too embarrassed to say anything. He was red..!” Kaibara says with a snicker. “Oh, well, I don’t mind answering,” you shrug.

“Well, if that’s the case, how long have you and Monoma have been together?” Rin asks.

You hum, looking up in thought. “Oh, since near the end of middle school.”

“Before the year even started!” Tsubaraba says in mock offense. “He never said anything!”

You chuckle, feeling your shoulders start to loosen up as you converse. “Well, he says he didn’t get the chance to mention it. Then after the stuff in the sports festival, well…” That’s mostly when his vendetta against your class started. The surrounding 1-B seems to have figured much as well, letting out a collective “Ah”.

“Makes sense, makes sense.”

“You don’t mind him tearing into your class daily?” Kamakiri asks. “From what I’ve seen, you’re fairly close with your classmates.”

“Well, none of them seem hurt by his remarks, and I know he doesn’t mean the stuff he says against them. Plus, Kendo-san’s always there to stop him if he says anything too far.”

“Yeah! Kendo’s amazing ain’t she?”

“Mhm! She really is.” You nod over at Tetsutetsu. “But Neito does stop mentioning things when I ask him to.” Ahem, that one time with Iida and the Stain incident.

“You’re pretty amazing yourself for that, Togata…” Kamakiri says, grimacing at the amount of times Kendo had told Neito not to try and provoke class 1-A. “It’s favoritism! He’s so cheesy!” Tsubaraba laughs, then looks at you. “Is he like, the super romantic type? Oh please tell us!” Everyone else leans closer in anticipation, eager to tease Neito with whatever new information you reveal. Aw, they really do love him! You were happy to oblige despite the high chance that your boyfriend will complain about it. “Oh he’s the sweetest..!” you gush. You’d take any opportunity to humble brag about your Neito. “He kisses my wrist every time he sees me. He’s so thoughtful. He knows what kind of date I might be in the mood for. Like one time it was raining, he took me to this manga cafe with a super comfy atmosphere. He’s sooo supportive and reliable too! He helps me train with my quirk by copying it and giving pointers. And and—”

You hear clamoring upstairs and stop your rambling in confusion.

Just then, Neito rushes down. “(Y/n)! Sorry, I was… uh, busy.”

Honenuki peeks his head out from the top of the stairs. “He was franticly cleaning his room because he wants to impress Togata. Kehehe.”

“S-Shut up Honenuki! I wasn’t!” Neito looks back, but the skull faced boy was already out of sight. He just grumbles and continues descending the stairs. “About time lover boy arrived!”

“Stop calling me that Tetsu!”

“What? It’s not a wrong description from what Togata’s been telling us,” Togake grins, patting you on the shoulder. Neito looks at you, aghast, like this is the ultimate betrayal. “(Y/n), what did you tell them?!”

You smile sheepishly, “I just told them how good of a boyfriend you are…”

“Urgh…” Neito averts his eyes. He could never be truly upset with you. “Well, if that’s all you’ve told them…”

“So there’s embarrassing stories they could tell us!? Togata, spill!”

“Nuh uh! We’re going to my room!” Neito picks up your bag from the floor and ushers you out of the lounge area with his other hand on your back.

“Aw! You’re no fun lover boy!”

Neito grumbles as you round the steps, running into Shiozaki who was heading out of her room.

“Do care not to do anything the lord would not condone while you’re in there,” she says.

“We’re not!” By this point, Neito’s face is flushed red. He quickens his pace as he leads you to his room, slamming the door once you’re both in. He takes a deep breath.

“Well that went lovely,” you grin. Looking around the room, everything is tidy. Not that Neito is a particularly messy person, but his dresser seems suspiciously packed as if he’d just shoved any clutter in there.

Neito groans, falling back on his bed with your bag in hand. Instead of dignifying your remark with a response, he waves the strap of your bag, “You got the snacks in here?”

“Of course I do. Scooch over,” you sit down as he rolled to his side to make room for you. “Not really much though. Just two small bags cause my allowance is low. Got any drinks? I want something cold.”

He huffs, stretching his arm for his laptop on his desk. He was adamant on staying laid out on the bed, so you reached for it instead. “There’s soda in the kitchen, which I could get, but that means, well…”

“I could go down there myself if you don’t wanna be teased by your friends,” you were already beginning stand up when Neito wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you back down.

“Oh but how could I make my lovely partner run errands?”

You laugh as he dumps you on the bed, one arm still around you. His other one grabs his bedsheets. Soon, you were wrapped up like a cocoon.

“Besides, you’re gonna reveal something embarrassing about me while I don’t have my eye on you,” he murmurs, sending you a mock glare. He kisses your forehead, getting up.

“Aww, you’re really gonna subject yourself to teasing for me?” Neito rolls his eyes. Before heading out the door, he says, “There’s ice cream too. Want some?”

“Ooh, sure. What kind?”

“Just vanilla. But I think we still have syrups and other toppings left. I’m sure they won’t mind if we hog the class stash for our little date,” he leaves you with a wink, gently shutting the door behind him. You smile and shake your head, scrolling through the movie options in his laptop on your shared Netflix account.

Full of caution, Neito sneaks down the stairs. Everyone you’d left in the lounge area are still there, chatting. He shuffles away from them silently and slips into the kitchen.

He got the soda, two glasses, the ice cream he’ll get last, and looking at the cupboards, barely anything let alone sprinkles or syrup. Damn it, I forgot it’s restock day. I should’ve checked the pantry before inviting (y/n) over. Neito’s surprised that he’d be so hasty to invite you over. He basically almost perished by the hands of your brother if you hadn’t been found out or arrived on time, and his first thought was to go on a little movie date with you now that his class is aware of your relationship. He realizes that he misses you a lot more than he realizes. It’s petulant. It’s not as if you’re long distance. But that’s how he feels being unable to be by your side for a proper date after the dorm system got implemented. (Y/n) already brought snacks so… it should be fine? He can’t help but lament the less than perfect scenario. It isn’t a big deal but he isn’t the type to settle—

“What’re you standing in thought for?”

Neito nearly jumps, only now noticing that Kendo, Bondo, Komori, and Kuroiro are back. In their hands are several plastic bags from the grocery store. “Perfect timing, Kendo!”

She raises a brow at him as she sets down the bags she’s holding, “That’s suspicious. Usually you’re trying to shake me off in order to berate class A.”

He scoffs, but holds back his smartass retorts. “Did you guys buy sprinkles and syrup?”

“Yeah, I think it was in that bag.”

Neito quickly rummages through the bag Kuroiro pointed him to. “Needless to say, I’ll reimburse in the jar.” Ergo, the jar the class each contributes their allowances to for groceries. Bondo glances at the two cups and two bowls, and like a puzzle piece being glued— heh— he remembers the events of this morning. “Ah, these are for Togata-san.”

“Uh huh,” Neito absentmindedly says, heading over to the freezer and finding less that a third of ice cream in the final tub. “Shoot.”

“We bought more.”

“Thanks,” he mutters, turning back to the bags.

“Wait, if it’s for your date, my parents sent me creampuffs. You should take them with you,” Kinoko says, moving to retrieve them from the pantry.

“Really? Are you sure? You just said that they’re from your parents.”

Kinoko waves it off. “They’re just leftovers from one of my relative’s store. I get them all the time. You can just get a couple if you don’t wanna take all of them.”

“Hm, I do have a box of microwave popcorn in my room… are you doing a movie date?” Kuroiro asks.

“Yeah, but…”

Somehow, his classmates ended up giving their own contributions, which ended up in Neito pushing a tray cart filled with snacks up the stairs. The trays of which are lent by Shoda and the cart itself by Tsunotori.

Is it like when there’s only one child to spoil in a family? Neito wonders. You are the singular couple in the first year hero course. Maybe that’s a part of it. He disregards the high probability that they’re hoping that he’d be somewhat cordial with your class while he’s dating you. Little do they know you quite like it when he gets a tad insane. Behind him, he’s dragging a wagon behind him piled with blankets and clothes pins because Honenuki suggested making a fort with you. They very much hijacked your date, but he’s still grateful about it, whatever their reason may be for helping.

He carries the wagon and cart up the stairs, having copied Yanagi’s quirk. Reaching the top, he’s faced with Mirio’s head peeking out from the floor in the middle of the hallway.

Neito stares. Mirio stares back.

“Hello.”

“Hello to you too, onii-san. Are you here to kill me?”

“Haha, no. (Y/n) will never forgive me,” he says, sticking his arm out of the floor to rub his head.

Neito shifts in place. What’s he here for then? A drop of sweat trickles down from his forehead as he waited for Mirio to reiterate what he’s here for.

“I’m here because I’d like to make an offer to you. Think of it as an olive branch being extended.”

Neito raises a brow. A peace offering? “I’m listening…”

all characters aged up (20+)! Tags: TW for fan and celeb dynamics. there are not overt mentions of abuse of positions but it does exist so be wary, slightly suggestive language

a/n: i figured as a concert themed tumblr, this would be a fun thing to try out!! also, i've been having really bad brainrot over suo being a drummer, and then it just kinda spiraled into me picturing all my other favs in bands eee!! enjoy!

also i know that in mha it's already established what characters play what instrument, but like . . . i will make changes if i want to lol it's my fic!

THE DRUMMER

The spotlight is never on him, but he's completely fine with that. In the background of the stage, he's completely enthralled in hammering out the beat guiding the rest of his members. The crowd tonight is particularly loud though. He can hear their cheers and screams through his ear piece still. He looks up from his set and scans the first fews rows that he can see from behind everyone else. People are excited by the guitarist and singer, their eyes honed in on the pair, but one person's gaze falls away from them and onto him. Your eyes widen slightly as the outskirts of the spotlight catches the contours of his body. His biceps flex as he raises his arms to strike the snare, and as he does you blink in surprise, as if the sound manage to surpass the volume of everything else in the room. Even in the dim light of the arena, he can see heat rising in your cheeks, and it makes his heart beat faster. His foot pounds harder on the bass drum's pedal and smile makes it way on his lips. He needs to take the next break to tell security to bring you backstage. After all, he's never in the spotlight, but the attention he's getting from you right now is more than enough.

THE BASSIST

His fingers pluck at the thick strings of his bass, the deep sounds resonating through the speakers. He hunches over a little, focusing on the way his hands play with the strings. Bass strings are heavy and the callouses forming on his hands are an indicative of that. He looks up, and smiles softly as he watches his bandmates engrossed in their respective roles. The singer pushes hair from his face, and the guitarist . . . is flirting with girls in the front row, sending them winks and air kisses as he shreds. He shakes his head. This is why he doesn't play guitar. His charisma is more quiet than whatever his friend is doing, but he doesn't go unnoticed. When he looks out at the sea of people jumping to the songs, he locks eyes with you. Unlike the other girls in the front row, who are paying obscene amounts of attention to the guitarist and singer, your eyes are focused on him with intense awe. They twinkle a little bit, and his hand slips. A deep chord sounds through the room and the singer casts a look of concern out of the corner of his eye. He shakes his head and the singer goes back to his serenading. When he looks back down at you, he smiles. You beam back at him and instantly he knows he's going to have to ask security later to bring you backstage. (And remember, bass strings are heavy, so his fingers are strooonnggg~)

THE GUITARIST

Look at that bastard, practically making out with the microphone. Although he's all smiles, the jealousy burns bright in his heart, brighter than the spotlights shining in his eyes right now. Enough people are watching him tonight for him to be satisfied, but more are watching the singer. He should be there. But he's not so he'll just have to shove his envy down deeper and turn his attention to his little group. Tonight is a nice batch, better than last stop's for sure. They huddle around the stage cheering him on, and clapping. It's a group of around five or six girls, but one stands out in particular. You're hair is all mussed from the dancing and sweat of being trapped in between others. Nevertheless, you look totally in your element right now. Your phone isn't covering your face, so you can still enjoy the concert while also capturing it. Your singing along to every word and your jumps are on perfect beat with the drummer. Your eyes are glowing the lights from the stage catch you every now and again, and your smile couldn't be wider. He wonders idly if your cheeks hurt. His smirk deepens, and he plays with more fervor. Once the song ends, the security guard spares a quick glance backwards. He nods towards you and the guard's eyes widen a fraction as he catches the guitarist's drift. You're gonna be fun.

THE SINGER

As the song comes to a close, he tosses his head back. Sweat runs down his face and a huge smile pulls at his lips. The cheers only feed into his exhilaration and he leans up against the microphone stand. When he looks out at the crowd, the faces all blur into one large haze. This is it, this is what he lives for after all. This sound of roaring voices, the chants of his name. His name. They're here for him. It's electric, the knowledge. He shakes his head and leans into the microphone, saying "Stop, you're too much," but it only spurns the cheers to get louder. He hears his guitarist scoff from behind him, but he can't bring himself to care. He bends down to the base of his microphone stand and grabs his water bottle. He uncaps his, and as he raises it to his lips, his eyes catch onto your face. Your cheers become louder as you wave excitedly at him. That expression, it's of pure unfiltered joy. It's . . . adorable. As he drinks his water, he subtly tilts his head towards the wings of the stage. Your cheers falter slightly and your eyes widen in surprise. A flush appears on your face and he smiles as he wipes his mouth. He winks at you before he rises to start the next song, knowing that you've fully gotten his memo. After all, you're here for him.

When they notice you’re not eating like you should

Cw: eat disorder, reader on the line of starving themself, please do not read if this will upset you, please do read if you need this comfort.

The first time he notices he’s quick to ask you. ‘Baby, what else did you eat today?’ When you respond with ‘just this’ he doesn’t say anything. But, the next day he’s watching you close. Making sure you at least grab a snack.

He notices it and doesn’t say anything. But, the next day there’s food already prepared for you to eat throughout the day. Just a note saying, ‘I noticed you haven’t been eating much, please take care of yourself.’ When he’s home he’s watching how much you eat of every serving, reassuring you he’s got your back. The prepared meals don’t cease to appear in your fridge everyday.

Basically: he’s the son of Hajime Shinso and Akira shinso, Akira is a famous fashion designer and she had Shinso because she wanted fame (everyone knows kids can get you fame), but when he developed his quirk she hated him. She abused him and his dad didn’t know for years and even when he did he had trouble divorcing her due to her status. Eventually they got divorced. Hitoshi lives with his dad when school is out and lives at UA during school. He is not Aizawas son in my au, he sees him kinda like a second father figure but he loves his real dad to.

Also he and @copycathero-phantomtheif may or may not have feelings. It’s complicated and shinso doesn’t understand his feelings.

The USJ arc. (Part 1)

Since class 1-B is the main focus and also has Midoriya in it, that means they'd also have All Mights attention, so they would most likely be targeted, so sucks to be 1-B

With the news of All Might being a new teacher at U.A, the press has been trying to get a scoop on All Might by asking the faculty and students about him, but their attempts fail once the faculty and student go past U.A's barrier.

In class Vlad King announces that the class must vote for who they believe will be the best class representatives. Vlad king states that they can't vote for themselves.

Everyone gives pretty good answers on why they think they'd be the best pick for class rep but in the end the people with the most votes are:

Itsuka Kendo with 3 votes

Nirengeki Shoda with 2 votes

So those two are now the class reps.

As Midoriya goes to sit down with his friends (Tsuburaba, Rin, and Kodai) he notices Kamakiri trying to find a seat.

He invites Kamakiri to come sit with them and Kamakiri looks at him for a moment before heading over and sits down.

Tsuburaba tries to make small talk with Kamakiri but Kamakiri doesn't respond he just eats.

Rin tells Tsuburaba to leave Kamakiri alone, sometimes people just don't want to talk during lunch.

Suddenly the U.A alarms goes off and everyone freaks out and rush to the exit.

As everyone is freaking out Midoriya notices Iida flying through the air.

Iida yells to the students need to calm down as there is no emergency it's just the press.

Outside:

Hound dog, Vlad King, Aizawa and Present Mic attempt to get everything orderly.

Mic offers to beat the crap out of the press as they are technically intruders, but Aizawa shuts that down immediately.

Hound dog isn't to apposed to beating the shit out of the press.

Vlad King agrees with Aizawa that they shouldn't do something irrational.

After they manage to get the press to leave, they realize how the press got in, someone manged to disintegrate some of the U.A's barrier.

Hound dog goes to get Nezu.

Vlad king wonders if one of the reporters had a disintegration quirk, but Aizawa shoots that down, no one would be that stupid.

After awhile, Nezu comes out, or well Hound dog walks out with Nezu riding in his shoulder.

Nezu wonders out loud how someone managed to break through the U.A barrier.

After a moment of thinking, Nezu states that perhaps the break in was a declaration of war.

Monoma x reader who is Mirio’s sibling Part 5

Wow, I can’t believe I already have this much parts.

You had the movie set up by the time Neito returns to the room. He was only supposed to get ice cream and soda so…

“Why do you have all that with you?!” you laugh. With him is a whole cart of food that the two of you would not be able to finish. He didn’t forget the ice cream. It was in one giant bowl topped with a myriad of sprinkles and syrup, as well as some slices of fruit as if that would make it healthy. On the second level of the cart are a bunch of cream puffs and small cake slices, and on the bottom level are chips and popcorn. Behind him, he is dragging along a wagon stacked high with blankets and clothes pins.

Neito shrugs, smiling at your amused expression. “They all got nosy and decided to chip in.” He sets down the blankets beside you on the bed, taking out a mini projector. “Aw, they’re so sweet.”

He nudges you while he connects the projector with his computer. “Hey, pay attention to me, not my classmates.”

You nudge back teasingly, “I dunno, you seem pretty out done.”

Neito rolls his eyes. “Are you gonna set up the base or what?” he asks, gesturing to the blankets and pillows.

You gasp, unfolding the blankets with glee. “A pillow fort..! That’s what it’s for..!”

He chuckles at your childish excitement. Though, he had to admit that the pillow fort was a good idea from Honenuki… he’ll have to thank him later.

Once he was done setting the projector up, he helps you with the fort. You pin the blankets onto his unused ceiling fan and his curtain rod, and some at the edges of his bed. Next you stack the pillows around you as a wall, using one of them to prop the projector up to properly face the wall. Now that the fort is done, you sit inside, waiting for Neito to join you after shutting the lights off. You hear them click. The blankets part as Neito crawls in with faintly lit electric candles. The extravagance of this one final touch has you rolling with laughter. He raises a brow at you with a smirk, setting the candles down around the fort. “What? Don’t like it?”

“No, I love it,” you giggle.

Neito smiles, finally sitting with his arm around your shoulder. He’s silent for a while, so you look back at him. You tilt your head, “What’re you staring for, hm?”

“Wow, so I can’t even look at you?”

You shake your head, leaning against him. “Just don’t ask me about what you missed in the movie.”

“Yeah yeah, I’ll pay attention to it,” and so he presses his keyboard, and the movie begins.

There is a knock in the 1-B dorm.

Kendo is quick to open it, finding her homeroom teacher standing there. He doesn’t usually have to check on them, so she figures why he’s there. “Oh, Vlad-sensei. Togata-san’s over at Monoma’s room.”

“Ah,” he says. He had gotten a call from Aizawa saying that some students from class 1-A were worried about (y/n) Togata not coming back to the dorm when they said they’d be back before curfew. Both teachers knew where you’d probably be without saying anything, which leads him here. “Tell them it’s past curfew and time to call it a day.”

“Well… we tried, but we figured it would be fine for Togata-san to stay?”

“What do you mean you tried?”

Kaibara peeks his head out of the door. “Just look at them.” He holds out his phone, which is on video chat with Tsubaraba over at Neito’s room along with Fukudashi, Shishida, Rin, Awase, and Kodai. The camera settles on Fukudashi as he draws on Neito’s face with a marker, which already has a few doodles. The unsuspecting boy is fast asleep, curled up against you, whose face is untouched… for now. Fukudashi’s face is in a mischievous “fufufu” speech bubble.

The other four are aiding him by holding up the blankets while he draws. In the background, the credits of a movie is projected on the wall. Several trays of the remnants of snacks sprawl across the floor.

Technically, the curfew only specifies that students must be in the dorms, but not which dorm so… Vlad sighs. “Alright. Just remind them not to be late for class.”

Besides, Aizawa probably won’t give a damn either. It’s hero school. Let the kids be kids every now and then.

You are gently shaken awake as a soft voice calls out your name. “(Y/n)… (y/n), I’m leaving soon.”

“Hm?” you rub your eyes, opening them to see Neito now dressed in his P.E. uniform. Curiously, he has a few dark smudges on his face. Ah, you must’ve fallen asleep. “Morning Neito… where are you going?”

“I’m going to Gym Gamma. You should head back to your dorm before your classmates get worried. Maybe get a little more sleep in your room.”

Sitting up, you notice that the fort is still up, just parted to make room for you to move. Most of the mess from last night have been stacked neatly to the side, ready to be cleaned up later. As he’s setting his gym bag up, he adds, “By the way, they drew on our faces on our sleep.”

Now that wakes you up. Quickly, you take your phone out and look at the camera and see that there, in fact, are doodles on your face from permanent marker. Well that explains the ink remnants on Neito’s face…

He hands you a wipe, saying that you can use the one of the 1-B sinks as well as their soap before you leave for your dorm. “Thanks. Why so early though? You training?”

Neito rubs the back of his neck. “Yeah, well, your brother visited yesterday while I was getting snacks.” Seeing the scowl on your face, he quickly adds. “He didn’t try scaring me this time. In fact, he offered to help train me.”

You did, staring incredulously at him, “He did?” “Yeah,” Neito sits down on the edge of his bed. “And considering he’s one of the big three of UA, how could I refuse? Besides, it’s a good chance to see his quirk in action.”

Fearing that he’d accidentally go too hard on Neito, Mirio had Hado take over in the demonstration with 1-B. She kicked their asses. No remorse, I fear.

“I’m here because I’d like to make an offer to you. Think of it as an olive branch being extended,” Mirio, whose head is peaking out from the 1-B dorm’s floor says.

Neito raises a brow. A peace offering? “I’m listening…”

“I’ve heard of your quirk Copy. You’re able to copy other’s quirks if you’ve made physical contact with them for a certain amount of time, correct?”

“I’m a little concerned about how you know that, but you’re right. I’ve been training to extend that time limit.”

“Ah, sounds great! Ah—” Mirio sinks into the floor. Neito furrows his brows in confusion. After a few seconds, his voice returns. “Anyway, since we’ve started out on the wrong foot…”

Neito looks up as Mirio’s head now pokes out of the ceiling.

“…I would like to get to know you better. As both a person and as the hero you’re aspiring to be. So I came here to offer to train you on using my quirk. It’ll help you improve your duration too right?”

Neito puts his finger on his chin, looking straight ahead, “That’s… an interesting offer…” His mind weighs his options. He doesn’t exactly fully trust this guy even when he’s your brother so…

Mirio sticks his hand out from the ceiling to make a thumbs up. “It is, isn’t it? You see, my quirk isn’t what you’d think is hero like, is it?”

At this, Neito looks up again, eyes bigger with interest. “Not hero like? Even though you’re top of the school?” “My quirk makes me untouchable to everything. That includes any surface and even air. A simple movement such as taking a step through a wall would require me to turn it on for all except one leg, stepping through, turning it off in that leg that stepped through, and then turning it on in that previous leg.” “It took me a lot of time and dedication to make it a hero like quirk. I want to see if you’re the type who can persevere. I think that’s fair considering you claim you’ll spend the rest of your life with (y/n).”

Neito smiles wryly as Mirio quotes him. But that smiles soon fades, his expression going serious. “I do intend to make good on my words. They’re not simply hopes and wishes, they’re promises. I accept your offer.”

Mirio smiles a little wider. It’s subtle, but Neito picks up on it. “Alright! Lets meet tomorrow at Gym Gamma. Two hours before class.”

Neito nods. “Understood, onii-san!”

Mirio narrows his eyes at the boy, “…Fine, I’ll let you call me that.”

ShinOjiRin Headcanons

This is a ship between Shinsou Hitoshi, Ojiro Mashirao, and Rin Hiryu from Boku No Hero Academia that has lived in my brain for years now and I need to post these headcanons.

Relationship Timeline

Rin had a small crush on Ojiro from the start of his first year, but it didn't cement until Ojiro stepped down from the Sports Festival. He immediately goes to ask Ojiro out who agrees. They date for the entirety of their first year.

Shinsou developed a crush on Ojiro after he stepped down, or at least paused for a moment. He asked Ojiro during the first semester into their second year, and Ojiro rejected him.

Shinsou tried to not like Rin out of principle, but gave up due to the man being too polite.

Despite this, Shinsou and Ojiro kind of get pushed into a close proximity kind of situation when Shinsou needs to catch up on the physical training. Rin tags along, and before they know it they are all dating by the second semester.

Outside Perspective Headcanons

They are so low-key about their relationship, like, ridiculously low-key about their relationship to an absurd degree.

Even the ones who knew about it never knew the full details. Ojiro told Hagakure about Rin asking him out but he never told her about Shinsou. The IzuCrew encouraged Shinsou to ask Ojiro out, only to sympathize when he was rejected despite never learning why. The Common Sense Kings hyped Rin up about asking Ojiro out but did not know about Shinsou. The TokoFlock (minus Hagakure) knew Shinsou and Ojiro were together, but overlooked the Rin variable.

(Except for Shouji, Shouji knows all but minds his business like a regular person.)

It isn't until graduation the rest of their classmates learn about it in its entirety, and they only learn about it because Mina overheard their future plans including moving in together and bothered to ask about it.

Since Rin and Ojiro become public heroes, they are the pair in the public eye. Shinsou insists it doesn't bother him, but it bothers Rin and Ojiro because they have a whole other husband.

(Seriously the amount of times they request for an extra spot is ridiculous. You would think Shinsou's name wasn't on the certificate.)

Aizawa nearly had a heart attack when a fellow teacher told him they caught Shinsou kissing a blonde, and demanded Shinsou bring his boyfriend to dinner. He was so hyper focused on the blonde detail he was caught off-guard when there was a second significant other.

Mutant S/Os Headcanons

Due to his quirk, Rin has a lot of dragon tendencies like hoarding significant others' clothing, and dressing them jewelry despite them not wearing any normally. Luckily, the other two find it endearing.

Since Rin is a Chinese dragon, he'll sit outside in the middle of storms. It never fails to give his significant others' heart attacks. Though his tendency to dance with them in the rain makes up for his otherwise horror film shenanigans.

He will also just sit on his significant others and cuddle with them, and has been affectionately called a 'lap lizard' by Ojiro.

Due to his quirk, Ojiro has mutant tendencies like grooming his significant others or constantly touching them. He will rub heads and purrs too. Shinsou nearly exploded from heart palpation when he first experienced it.

Depending on the temperature, Shinsou will cling to one over the other. He will cling to Rin when it is warm and Ojiro when it is cold. Regardless, Rin will have a protective grip on them and Ojiro tucks his tail around them.

They have to accommodate mutant diets, so Shinsou has learned to use his lunches to balance out the immense amount of meat they consume on a daily basis.

Other Headcanons

In terms of pet names, Rin is the only one who uses them as he calls them Bao Bèi (with the 'my treasure' meaning). Ojiro sometimes calls them babe, but mainly joins Shinsou in calling his s/o by their first names.

Somehow, Shinsou is the one with the best sleep schedule despite working at night and otherwise being an insomniac. He often has to drag the other two to bed because they are up training or working on paperwork.

Due to their different schedules, dates are a pain to schedule to the point their colleagues look at them funny when they look forward to a night of takeout and whatever bromance series Rin brought from his last trip to China.

They need to train separately or they will flirt like they are in leads in an action movie. They have one love language and it is throwing hands, and their friends are tired.

They don't have wedding rings, they have wedding gauntlets and their friends are tired. (Hatsume was ecstatic about the commission.)

Seriously, they are the battle triad.

There is nothing funnier than Rin's rich energy colliding with Shinsou's grunge lifestyle. Ojiro often has to serve as a tie breaker.

They are the triad who leave food out for animals, both wild and strays, and Rin may or may not be building a crow army.

They all get equally embarrassed when their friends share pining stage stories. Hagakure especially takes immense joy from dramatically reading her and Ojiro's old text conversations.
