Not gonna lie just judging from that one picture you attached to you reply I'm already digging Calliope and who I assume is Ezekiel?

How would you feel about a woman who made a contract w some deity of uninhibited primordial madness and also rebirth Highest Of All Gods™ (totally not Dionysus/Zagreus, no sireeeee) and became Mad™ as a result and then drove her stepfamily and mother mad for trying to usurp her position as heir to the family head seat and then murdered them as an Example™ and her love for a guy was ramped up to a hundred after the mad-ification and also gets obsessed with another man and his daughter because she was best friends w the kid's mom who never got to marry the dad due to societal prejudices and then died of illness wants to have both of them plus her husband under her influence at all times

On another note though, have you read Asmodian Contract? I kinda want to give it a try but these days I'm kinda too wary to try smth out without passing it through like two layers of peer review from trusted mutuals.

Hell yeah! I'm always down for that trope. Sounds like a complicated situation you are describing. So she's obsessed with two guys? Can you tell me more about her first love? 👀 (I'm weak for childhood sweethearts). How does he feel about the way she's changed? Is he okay with it that she wants them both? The two men, do they know each other? How is their relationship to each other? What about the dead wife who was friends with MC, did she knew about MC's feelings for the man? And lastly is a marriage between two men and one woman legal? If so is there something like a main husband position and concubine position or would they have been equals to each other?

I can't remember if I've read Asmodian contract or not. The faces look familiar. I might have read a few chapters and then dropped it. Tell me if you liked it if you decide to read it.

Protected him when he tried to pick fights with Stan.

Signed the Contract that drastically increased his power and influence.

Plugged him into his terminals more than once.

Gave him a piece of my heart gem. (Still has it.)

Listened to him have his spirals and talked him through them at least twice, possibly three.

Did not can his shit when he hurt Rook.

Worked him through several tense emotional moments.

Gave him Dukedom if we want to be petty.

Got on my knees for him. More than once.

Helped him retrieve the Asmodian Crystal.

Cajoled and helped him get to see a doctor while we were humanized so he wouldn't spontaneously die of a seizure.

Encouraged his ass to drink water.

If you and him want to devalue me and tell me, directly to my face, that he's checking out to do something he believes will make him happier; Then who the fuck am I to keep him from it?

He's stuck on himself and that's his own business.

What was I to do? Grovel? Pleeeease don't leave me? It'll hurt my feelies and work up my abandonment problems?

Then looked again, longer that time. The details were off and he started doing a compare and contract until he shook his head once and Looked at him proper.

"Hah!" What the fuck was that? He had a soul and everything. Not the kind they all technically where in this Hell, but a living breathing sack of bones with a soul!

Kill him. Snap his neck. Then get to the other one. Be free. End the cycle.

Pressed fisted hand into his own forehead before he banged it sharply on the table. HAH!

"Did you piss off one of those grayfaces?" He had no idea what could cause this particular turn of events. He moved away from the kitchen table when Vox put his head into his hands. Hrm. His shoulder didn't look right either.

He came to sitting next to the demon-turned-mortal and reached to feel out said shoulder with a hand. More than familiar with dislocated human bones. Wasn't hard at all between that and his strength to get hold of elbow with other hand and pop that back into socket in a swift warning-less move. Better that way, trust him on that.

"Always telling you to drink more water." Not feeling as much of his normal disdain for Vox than he did most of humanity as a rule.

"Here," came Vox's muffled response as he threw a hand up from under Vark to wave about. Probably could have stayed hidden if he really wanted to, but he was tired of being completely smothered here and he wanted his food!

He would give the sharkdog a gentle nudge to get off of the couch while he tried to slowly sit up. Groaning softly, he held his head in his hands. Still so fucking dizzy.

Rohas and Lizvel

Ok so lemme just shed an ocean of tears for this angel boi.

He went through SO much for his sister. He had to act like his mother was a stranger to him, and call another woman by the term reserved for his birthgiver. He bore it so well, with absolutely no complaint. And then, contrary to how elder siblings find younger ones a pain, he loved that baby Lizvel so so so much (the fl)

Rohas must've been devasted when he saw his own mother getting killed in front of him, but even despite the fear n tears his love for his sister kept him moving forward. He brought her up so preciously. In that hellish palace he strived hard to keep the smile intact on his sister's face.

To the very end, that was all he cared about. Truly a gem of a man. Zikel finding it out and using it on him was basically cornering him. But even then, rather than back down, he chose to be the wall that would protect her and the cushion to ease her fall.

Literally.

I still remember reading the part where Zikel figures out the connection between the ointment in Lizvel's room and the stock of ointments in Rohas's room. 🥺😭

The flowers from the crown she gave him while acting crazy, withered, shrivelled up and stinking and mushed up, but still there in the vase. The way he rushed into the room where Zikel and Lizvel were alone as soon as he heard her cries. His decision to end the game for the throne by killing everyone and then himself so that Lizvel could live. Him climbing the walls of his sister's palace to make sure she was safe after killing some prince. Telling her to smile, because that was the only place where he found some amount of solace. His feeble attempts with his beaten, cut and bruised body to protect Lizvel from Zickel inside that cavernous room. How even in that frail helpless state his top priority was not himself, but again and again and again, Lizvel. His happiness when he saw that Lizvel had her own power, power that could protect her. Him finding peace at last in the thought that finally his sister would be safe, without him having to raise his sword and smear blood again.

Maybe that's why his expression when he's at the threshold of death is one of content.

The other one thing that broke me apart was the number of times Liz was this close to killing Rohas. Imagine the horror of her killing Rohas and then later finding out that he was her actual brother from her own mother and the tryant father? She would have been destroyed with guilt.

I wish she would take up the ML's offer and keep him alive. Cause in my mind, giving up her soul or whatever is nothing compared to what her brother has done for her for 20 long years of his life.

I hate Hellar and ML for placing a bet over her like she's some kind of auction piece, and I hate Zikel for turning Rohas's life into a living hell. The only things that softened me up a bit as of now, is the ML slowly beginning to fall in love with Lizvel and realise that she too had her dreams and goals and most of all, a mind of her own. And the fact that there's nothing Zikel can do to hurt Lizvel now try as he might.

I am literally just reading the manhwa to see Rohas open his eyes and get some quality brother sister bonding scenes. I do not care about the romance in this manhwa cuz it's just if you let me use you, I'll let myself be used. And sorry to say this, but that's not love. It's called trading.

Or to be more precise, bartering.

Parents to Children (Part 1)

One of the most idiotic questions I've ever seen was "If she manages to get her children, I'm dropping this manhwa."

To be fair, they probably wanted a more interesting story; ON THE OTHER HAND, she was trying to get her children from their TYRANT father who had no character development whatsoever. I dropped the manhwa myself because I came here to escape from a horrible world, not be introduced to another 😑.

The children of the willing to change parents were calloused from the pain inflicted but were slowly softening.

The children of the bad parents though... Lemme say it wasn't well for them.
