“You’ve changed” 

Jiung continued to work at his desk, it was like you were talking to the wall. 

“Jiung, did you even hear me?”

“Yeah, I get it, I’ve changed. What’s new?” 

“What do you mean what’s new? You missed all our dates this month and not to mention our 2 year anniversary” 

“I already told you, deadlines have been killer this month. What else am I supposed to do?”

“Oh I don’t know, be my boyfriend? It doesn’t feel like I’m in a relationship anymore” 

It was your last sentence that brought Jiung out of his work. Truthfully he’s been thinking over your relationship too, and you’re right, he has changed. 

“Look, if you’re wanting the reason why I’ve been missing our dates or whatever… it’s work” 

“I get that you’re busy Ji, but it doesn’t feel like I have a boyfriend”

“If you want a boyfriend then maybe you should look elsewhere because I don’t think I can give you what you deserve” 

You sat at the couch in his studio stunned, sinking deeper into the cushion below you, you were speechless.

“So that’s it? This is how we end things? Two years Ji, two fucking years just thrown away because you’ve been ‘busy with work’ you’ve got to be kidding me”

Jiung sighed, his head pressed into the palm of his hands, a headache coming on as he thought about his current predicament. 

“I’m sorry but I tried okay, and I already told you, I can’t give you what you deserve. I’m sorry if I disappointed you”

You slowly sat up, tears starting to well up as you gathered what remnants remained in his studio; your sweater, your blue blanket and a Polaroid the two of you took together at the Han River. 

“Okay, I’m leaving then. So much for two years Ji” 

“I’m sorry” 

Jiung slowly led you out of his studio, watching you turn the corner as you walked out of his life forever. He never wanted what you had to end, but his greed got the better of him and clouded his judgment. 

A few months later Jiung receives a call from a familiar voice, Taeyang

“Dude, you have to talk to Y/n”

“Why? I hurt them didn’t I? I thought they didn’t want to talk to me”

“They’ve been ignoring all of our calls the past few months. The only person who can get through to them is Keeho”

Keeho was a mutual friend, well maybe best friend. He always rooted for your relationship knowing how difficult it was dating a popular producer. Keeho was more than just your best friend, he was your voice of reason, a true confidant and wonderful listener. 

“Y/n, you can’t just ignore our calls like this. We all care about you so much. You had me worried sick”

“I know, I’m sorry Keeho”

“I don’t think you do, I was so worried you got sick or that you haven’t been eating. You know Jiung would be mad, right?”

“Jiung and I aren’t together anymore” 

It took everything out of him not to raise his voice at you. He knew how much Jiung cherished you and how hard he fumbled when it came to you. Jiung actually called Keeho a couple days ago to air out his grievances ever since he let you slip between his fingers. 

“I know, but he still cares about you Y/n” 

“How would you know? It’s not like you talk to him anymo–”

“Just shut up for a second and listen to me, okay” Keeho firmly gripped onto each side of your shoulders forcing eye contact with you 

“I’m not supposed to say anything, but I can’t watch you tear yourselves apart like this. I love the both of you so much, so listen to what I am going to say, okay? No interruptions!!!”

You nodded as your shoulders drooped and you leaned in to rest your forehead against Keeho’s chest, feeling the reverberation as he spoke. 

“Jiung is going to be pissed, but he told me last week that he still loves you. Trust me Y/n, that boy loves the shit out of you. He wouldn’t leave his studio last week because he was apparently writing you a letter. I told him you liked receiving letters, so he wrote one…”

Keeho gently held your head in his hands, brushing the stray hairs that fell out of place and smiled down at you. You smiled back and wrapped your arms around his torso, taking his every word in. 

“Thank you Keeho, I should try to go see him tonight then” 

“I’ll drop you off if you want? My apartments 3 blocks away from his studio anyways, but only if you’re okay with it” 

“O-okay, I actually really miss him” You felt almost sheepish admitting your remaining feelings. 

A little less than 10 minutes later you stood in front of Jiung’s building where his studio is. You let yourself in with Jiung’s code. Walking down the dark corridors, you felt your heart skip a beat. As you rounded the corner, you could see warm light spilling from the room in front of you. Taking a deep breath, you gently knocked on the door. 

“Theo I told you I was-” His eyes widened as you stepped through the door. 

“Y/n? You’re here… I thought you didn’t want to see me” 

Sadness was evident in his voice as he gently grabbed your hand, guiding you to the couch inside his studio. His touch tentatively lingered on your hand as he struggled to meet your eyes. 

“I’m sorry” you both started, meeting each other's eyes, Jiung let out a quiet breath, smiling as he took in your features. 

“Don’t be, I should be the one apologizing. I wasn’t the best boyfriend and I should have done more” 

“And I’m sorry for walking out on you… I heard from Keeho that you wrote me a letter” 

“Oh, I– Yeah, I have been busy writing this letter to you. I’m not sure if you want to read it though. I don’t want it to seem disingenuous” 

“Ji, you’re always genuine and I would love to read it if you’ll let me” 

He turned around to rummage his desk, searching for said letter that was hidden amongst the stack of music sheets and notebooks. 

Jiung hesitated, letter in hand, he tapped the back of your hand before scooting closer to you, leaning his head on your shoulder, gently placing the letter in your hand and interlocking your fingers. 

“I missed you, I missed this” 

You let go of his hand unraveling the letter Jiung wrote to you, tears threatening to fall as you read his letter, feeling the emotions he poured so purely into his letter. 

The night went on with hushed conversation as the two of you worked to repair your relationship. To say that Keeho was relieved was a massive understatement. As soon as Theo let him know that your relationship was reconciled, he immediately rushed to call you. 

“Hey Keeho, what’s up?” 

“Theo told me you’re back together! I’MSOHAPPYFORYOUTHATICOULDCRY” He exclaimed from the other line

“Awe, me too. Thank you for fighting for me Kee, it really mean–” 

Before you could continue Jiung erupts from the background to thank Keeho for his diligence and persistence. 

“Sounds like you’ve got your hands full, Y/n”

“Jiung’s just happy he’s back with me at my apartment, but thank you. I’ll talk to you soon! And next time we get lunch, it’s on us!”

Paralipsis isn't glad about the new development, nor the addition of another unit on base, but doesn't have the authority to turn down an official order issued by the chief artillery engineer of the Alliance (Styro).

Polaroid gets his private ward on the base, and Sawmus takes care of his needs. After he regains some strength, he begins exploring Outpost 51 out of curiosity and encounters Hubble out of pure luck.

Hubble has been curious about this newcomer for a while, but never gets the chance to have a formal greeting. Paralipsis only informed the occupants on base that a camera unit, which is a special ops sniper and a member of the Alliance artillery development team, is going to stay on the base for medical reasons.

Apparently, Hubble is physically superior to Polaroid in many ways, but Polaroid has a youthful and optimistic charisma. Polaroid admires Hubble's physical capacity, while Hubble respects Polaroid for his resourcefulness in tech. Sometimes, the two would play Battleship (space edition, because why not) to bond or exchange stories with one another.

Additionally, the sequestration doesn't limit the amount of shenanigans being exchanged.

Polaroid suspected Tattle & Prattle were twins due to their shared mischievous disposition. Guess he just needs more time to familiarize himself with the personnel on base.

Very excited to see what you do!!! Going to be a fun time for sure <3 Hubble is so happy to have made a friend! Probably also impressed with Polaroid's aim too (Since Hubble can't hit anything 8'3 so good aim is so impressive to the guy)

But oh the shenanigans on the window! You can bet Prattle and Tattle are going to draw so many things back and forth with Polaroid. If he isn't careful, they are going to declare him a "bro"!

Medic would write some encouragement on the window and pay a visit. Little gal always likes to be positive energy on the base. Hubble also maybe got Biggs to make a Hazelnut Latte... if someone needs a pick me up c: (Who knows who drew the chicken bot picture...)

Biggs and Tremolo would warn Polaroid that an "armadillo with a knife" is roaming the base. Best to watch out for that little guy....

...and the twins do draw some memes but sometimes draw some kind of spooky, cryptic things on the window...but probably means nothing, right?

you and dan heng decided to arrive at the very same cafe where march and the others simultaneously ditched you both as an attempt to unfold the rocky and complicated relationship that you shared with dan heng but, you both were also playing mind games just to avoid talking about a certain topic: the current state of the relationship.

"since when did you drink lattes, dan heng?"

after a successful somewhat awkward-free trip to the cafe, dan heng offered to walk you back to your dorm. stalling, you both stood outside your dorm and you ultimately decided that you were not ready to face kafka in a humiliating spotlight for forgetting the room keys.

"not sure, i’ve started drinking them for a while now."

"they're good aren't they? i've only ever seen you drink black coffee."

dan heng could not help but to send you a small smile; it was faint but still possessed some form of tenderness towards you. the fact that you still remember his preferences and habits felt as if red chrysanthemums were blooming inside his heart. little did you know, lattes reminded dan heng of you.

"hey.. maybe i could teach you how to make lattes some day?"

wait.. why did i ask that? there was a slight hesitation in your voice but it was all brushed away by dan heng when his only thoughts were filled with surprise that he has an opportunity to spend more time with you, alone.

“i would like that, [name]."

again, it was the way your name rolled perfectly off his voice that made you feel nervous. it gave you a mixed sensation of fluster but also uncertainty. why did i feel this way?

before you could respond, you were suddenly met with dan heng's cold touch delicately holding your hand as if it was a piece of glass. however, that touch felt as if there an electric shock in the short moment where your hands were together. slightly jolting, you looked at him with wide eyes until you felt him place another cold object on the palm on your hands.

looking at the object on your hand, you could only feel further astonishment as your lips slightly parted. the object that dan heng placed on your hand was a small white cat keychain that was attached to a spare set of keys to dan heng’s dorm. that white keychain used to be yours during your past relationship with dan heng and dan heng held the black cat keychain that was matching with yours.

when you looked up from your hand, it was only then you realised that dan heng already left. as you looked at the small keychain that was surprisingly neatly-kept, it felt as if the bittersweet memories started to flood your mind like a never-ending string of polaroids. then, you internally face palmed yourself at your sudden realisation. did i seriously just invite my ex for more one-on-one alone time? it was as if your heart had a mind of its own and was controlling your every action.

and that rolling snowball of conflicting emotions only grew bigger.

Just some food for thought but I find it funny how the trinkets you can buy from Dandy’s store are based on either tools or merchandise.

The speedy shoes and thermos could easily just be merchandise.

The wrench and manual is obviously not merch but would be a tool you’d find naturally in the museum.

The most notable exception is the cardboard but how poorly put together it looks could assume that maybe Dandy himself made it

Now there’s the research trinkets which are all linked to that toon/twisted in some way, usually a personal belonging.

Boxten has his bandana, makes sense he is seen wearing it all the time.

Toodles has her dog plush which she is also seen holding in the poster with Rodger.

Finns is a fishing rod, considering how weird it’d be to sell a fishing rod in a museums (Assuming there’s not a lake or such nearby.) and that Finn’s whole shtick is being the aquatic nerd we can also assume this belongs to him. Notice how the handle is orange like his vest.

Obviously there’s more but the main take away is trinkets sold by Dandy are usually merchandise or tools found in the museum and trinkets from twisteds are personal belongings.

With that being said- Why is Dandy’s trinket just straight up a plush of himself.

You’d think it’d be something like a VHS player given his ties to tapes or maybe a plant pot fitting with his flowery theme, maybe even an old polaroid photograph as given how he acts and his conversation with Astro that Connie brings up he sorta clings to the past.

I just find it funny that his trinket is just himself, a piece of merchandise that he would sell, hell it’s the only trinket to directly affect Dandy and not the player (To an extent.)

Север (North) and Юг (South), inseparable twins born to a humble farming family in Southwest Russia. North, the elder by only two minutes, was gentle and considerate, with a love for herbs, flowers, and farm animals. South, her quiet yet fiercely loyal shadow — quick-tempered but always obedient to his sister’s guidance. He took on the heavier labor around the farm, never without his trusty shovel, a massive tool nearly as tall as him. North often teased that it was his Excalibur, but in truth, it meant more than that.

Their lives changed forever when they turned 12, barely reaching their teens. The Skibidis tore through the land, and their parents were lost to the descending chaos. The twins were forced to flee with the rest of the survivors with nothing but South’s shovel, a revolver, and some meager supplies they scavenged.

After weeks of hardship, they stumbled upon a survivor camp over three hundred miles from home. It seemed like a sanctuary, filled with other children who had suffered the same fate, offering them companionship and a fragile sense of normalcy. But, South couldn’t ignore the white-suited cameramen moving through the camp, conversing with the doctors, sometimes watching the twins with an eerie intensity. 

It was no surprise they stood out. Identical twins of opposite sexes were rare enough, but it was their capabilities that made them exceptional. Years of farm work had given them strength and resilience beyond their age. South, despite his temper, had an unshakable sense of duty, always looking out for the younger and weaker children —  more often than not, North had to step in before his shovel got involved. North, in contrast, was a bright and resourceful girl, a natural sharpshooter with her revolver.

Their talents didn’t go unnoticed. Some admired them. Others, however, saw them as a problem.

A year passed before the camp council made a chilling decision. Supplies were dwindling, and the children were deemed burdens rather than survivors. A deal was struck with the Russia Cameramen Division stationed in Khabarovsk: in exchange for two years’ worth of provisions, several children — including North and South — were handed over as test subjects.

The twins barely retained any lucid memories after they were taken — only flashes of metal, sterile rooms, the rustlings of white suits and lab coats. They awoke in the bodies of hulking war machines — foreign, metallic frames of large cameramen. 

South was devastated. His body, his freedom, and his humanity were stolen by those whom he had trusted. His grief turned to fury. Let's just say, the first unfortunate scientist cam that entered South’s detainment chamber didn’t come out in one piece.

North, ever the rational one, simply accepted their fate. If the scientists hadn’t intervened, they would have fallen to the Skibidis. But it didn’t mean she trusted them, but she played along — if only to keep South from tearing the place apart.

After rigorous disciplinary measures and military training, South learned to keep his rage in check in front of the high-ranking officers. It didn’t necessarily stop him from glaring daggers at every scientist cams he passed, or from picking fights with the other large cameramen. Despite standing at a mere 9’9”(2.9 m) compared to his towering comrades, he fought like a feral beast.

When the Astro Invasion began, the twins were deployed to the Russian frontlines. Their teamwork was seamless — South carved through close-range enemies with his shovel, while North provided support fire with her revolvers.

During a brutal battle, North was separated from South. A blast tore through her leg as she scrambled for cover. Before she could react, an Astro unit trained its cannon at her, and readied to open fire.

And then — salvation.

Styrofilm, the transferred cameraman scientist, and his assistant Polaroid, intervened. The girl was exhausted and terrified. Without thinking, she slung to Styro, the last bit of her composure crumbling. The war had drained her innocence, patience, and unwavering resolve.

Styrofilm, carried her back to the Russia Division’s base, listened to her story. He didn’t see a soldier in North, only a child who had been betrayed, exploited, and cast aside. 

He agreed to sign the petition to be their mentor and guardian.

But when North was finally reunited with South, her brother’s rage reignited at the sight of the white-suited cameraman.

Rage boiled over as he swung a fist at Styrofilm. But the scientist caught it with ease, Letting South vent his fury. The boy spilled accusations, hurled every ounce of pain and hatred toward the scientists that he had bottled up, at Styrofilm.

And Styro only listened.

Eventually, South’s fury burned itself out. North found the perfect opportunity to step in, pleading with him to trust Styrofilm. In the end, South relented — not because he trusted the scientist in front of him, but because he trusted her.

With Styrofilm and Polaroid stationed in Russia for the foreseeable future, Styro has plenty of time to bond with his two newly-acquired, traumatized kids. Whether he was ready for it or not, they were about to become the closest family outside of the Filming Industry.

The atmosphere was charged with excitement and anticipation as fans gathered to meet their beloved South Korean superstar, Lee Seung Gi. Robert Michael Mapplethorpe (4 de novembro de 1946 – 9 de março de 1989) foi um fotógrafo americano, mais conhecido por suas fotografias em preto e branco. A crítica foi o tema de uma obra do artista conceitual americano Glenn Ligon , Notes on the Margins of the Black Book (1991–1993). Ligon justapõe as 91 imagens de homens negros de Mapplethorpe na publicação Black Book de 1988 com textos críticos e reações pessoais sobre a obra para complicar os tons raciais das imagens. 

O poeta e ativista americano Essex Hemphill também expressou críticas em sua antologia Brother to Brother (1991).
