I just realized that Wilson caring too much about House kinda leads to Amber's death (not actually but bear with me) Wilson stayed with House overnight at the hospital because he cared and wanted to see if House would be okay when he awoke. But by not going home, he didn't see the note Amber left. Which could've informed both Wilson and House that Amber was on the bus, and House could've prolly saved her.
