Hello A-V-J. Currently I'm working on dubs for your comics and I want to have them in the right order. So I have a few questions: 1. Will the Glitched comic be finished or is the Ask Paperror series a continuation of it? 2. If Corrupto committed suicide after Auto proposed to Queri, why does he appear later? 3. When does the moment when Topie wants to kill himself take place (and does he do it or not), and are the comics with Ship Topie x Cor canon? If something is unclear, I'm sorry, but I use
1.. Will the Glitched comic be finished or is the Ask Paperror series a continuation of it?
Yes, altho paperrors parts arent a separate ask box, its still within the ask the errors askbox but yeah it's a mini continuation of Glitched comic
2. If Corrupto committed suicide after Auto proposed to Queri, why does he appear later?
Cuz no auto could actually die, not with theplayer around
3. When does the moment when Topie wants to kill himself take place (and does he do it or not), and are the comics with Ship Topie x Cor canon?
He did it a couple times before he and cor are a thing. And yes, cor/topie(corpie) is canon. Always had been

Sorry if this is emotional but I'm a querying author and I just lost my (dream?) job. It's really hard for all the reasons but one thing that's especially painful is my querying bio. I have two main anxieties: [1] I don't know what I can say in my query bios anymore and [2] I'm scared an agent won't offer if I reveal I'm financially/professionally struggling in a call because it could feel like too much pressure right off the bat (which I completely understand). Do you have advice?
I'm sorry that happened. :-/
The good news is, you don't have to worry about it at all from a querying author standpoint. Frankly, agents don't care about your day job . . . unless it is actually relevant to your work, which is nice, OR if you are a bookseller or librarian or in publishing in some way, which is also nice - but none of those would be auto-accepts or anything, they are just interesting to know!
(By "relevant to your work" I mean, let's say you are writing a nonfiction book about Penguins, and you are a Penguin scientist -- that's interesting to know! If you are writing a book about Penguins and you are a dental hygienist, that's not relevant. Unless it's about Penguin TEETH, maybe!)
All of which is to say, don't fret.
1) in your bio, just put... nothing about your job? For example:
"I live in the Pacific Northwest with my pet Bengal cat and three terrible tortoises; this is my first novel."
"When I'm not dreaming about dragons, I write for children and young adults from my home in rural Alabama."
If your job WAS relevant to your work, you can just speak of it in the past tense: "I live deep in the woods of Upstate New York. I've been a barista, a pizza-maker and a Marine Biologist, but only one of those informed the writing of my book about sea lions. (Guess which one!)"
2) When you talk to the agents on the phone, it's true that they might get kinda put off if you came across as desperado -- like if you were to say "OMG I need to sell this book YESTERDAY, I'm starving and have loads of credit card debt, I need a six-figure deal" -- that wouldn't be great. We definitely can't promise a specific level of deal, or any deal at all for that matter, not every book sells at all or right away -- and the idea that it NEEDS to be x-amount or NEEDS to happen quickly is unrealistic at best, so it would make you come across as somebody who doesn't know much about publishing. (Which I'm sure isn't true!)
So, you know, play it cool. More good news is, they probably won't ask much about your day job except as just a mundane question you'd ask anyone -- "so, what do you do?" -- it's just something people say, small talk, it's not actually important what the answer is. So answer however you like?
I mean, don't LIE, that would be weird as hell -- I'm just saying, you don't have to get into the weeds about your problems or specific situation. "I'd been working my dream job but actually just got laid off due to budget cuts -- but on the plus side, that's left me more time to focus on writing!" -- or even "I'm a full-time writer at the moment! I might get back into a 9-5 at some point, but I'm glad to have a break from it for now."
Good luck!

How to Launch a Successful Car Detailing Franchise in 2025.
Tumblr media
The car detailing industry is booming, and 2025 is shaping up to be the perfect year to ride that wave with a franchise. If you’ve ever dreamed of being your own boss, working with cars, and joining a growing community of auto care professionals, a car detailing franchise might be exactly what you’re looking for.
But where do you start? What makes a detailing franchise successful in today’s competitive market? This blog breaks it down for you in a friendly, no-fluff way — the real-world steps to launch and grow a successful car detailing franchise in 2025.
Why 2025 Is the Year to Start
Let’s face it — car owners are more obsessed than ever with keeping their vehicles looking brand new. Whether it’s ceramic coating, paint protection film (PPF), or simple interior cleaning, people want quality care for their cars. And with EVs and luxury vehicles on the rise, detailing is no longer just “cleaning” — it’s a premium service.
Franchises offer the perfect entry point. You don’t need to invent a brand or figure it all out yourself — you’re given a proven system, training, and support. And in 2025, the focus is shifting toward smart detailing, eco-friendly methods, and tech-enabled operations — giving franchisees an edge from day one.
Step 1: Research the Right Franchise Brand
Don’t rush this part. The franchise you choose will shape your success. Here’s what to look for:
Brand Reputation: Check online reviews, talk to current franchisees, and look at social media presence.
Training & Support: Does the brand offer hands-on training? Ongoing help? Marketing support?
Tech & Tools: Are they using the latest machines, eco-friendly chemicals, and booking systems?
Franchise Fee & ROI: Know the investment required and what kind of return to expect. Ask for real data.
💡 Tip: Look for a brand that aligns with your values — not just one with flashy marketing.
Step 2: Understand Your Market
Your city or town has its own customer behavior. Do people drive more SUVs? Are there a lot of luxury vehicles? What’s the climate like — hot, rainy, dusty?
Use local data to decide:
Which services to focus on (ceramic, PPF, basic detailing?)
How to price your packages
What promotions work best (first-wash free, combo deals, memberships, etc.)
In 2025, customers want convenience and trust. If you can offer mobile detailing, doorstep pickup/drop, or even app-based scheduling — you’ll stand out.
Step 3: Location, Location, Location
Even though car detailing doesn’t always need a big shop, your storefront still matters — especially for premium clients.
Look for:
High-traffic zones (near petrol pumps, malls, or residential societies)
Easy entry/exit space for vehicles
A clean, professional look with visible branding
If the franchise model allows, mobile detailing can be your hero. Low overhead, flexible location, and perfect for modern customers who want service at their doorstep.
Step 4: Invest in Training (Even If You’re the Boss)
A good franchise will train you — but take it seriously. Learn everything: the science behind ceramic coating, PPF application, engine bay cleaning, upholstery care, etc.
Why? Because your quality sets the tone for your team. Plus, you’ll be able to handle customer queries confidently and build trust fast.
Train your team like pros, too. Uniforms, etiquette, time management — every small thing adds up to the customer experience.
Step 5: Focus on Branding and Marketing from Day One
2025 is not the year to “wait and see.” Launch strong, and let the city know you’re here.
Here’s a simple marketing checklist:
📱 Social Media: Create pages on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube & X. Post real customer work daily — before/after shots work great.
🌐 Google My Business: Must-have! Helps you rank in local searches like “car detailing near me.”
📢 Launch Offers: First 50 customers get 20% off, free glass coating with detailing, etc.
🎯 Targeted Ads: Run local ads on Facebook and Google. Target by location, age, and car ownership.
And remember, your happy customers are your best marketing team — ask for reviews and testimonials, and repost them proudly.
Step 6: Deliver Experience, Not Just Service
The actual detailing work should be excellent — but that’s just the beginning. What makes customers return is the experience.
Things to focus on:
Polite, well-dressed staff
Clean waiting lounge with water/coffee
Transparent pricing (no hidden charges)
On-time delivery
Follow-up SMS or WhatsApp asking, “How was your experience?”
In short: treat every customer like a VIP.
Step 7: Use Technology to Scale
Modern franchises offer mobile apps, CRM tools, and digital checklists — use them!
📅 Online appointment booking
🔁 CRM to track repeat customers
📲 WhatsApp for service reminders
📈 Dashboard to track earnings, employee performance, and expenses
The more you automate, the more time you save for growth and strategy.
Step 8: Learn, Improve, Expand
Once you’ve stabilized the first 6–12 months, it’s time to think bigger.
Add services like paint correction, sunfilm, or headlight restoration
Partner with car showrooms for dealer tie-ups
Offer fleet care packages for taxis or corporate vehicles
Eventually, open a second unit or offer doorstep detailing across multiple areas
Franchise businesses grow best when the owner is active, adaptable, and customer-obsessed.
Final Thoughts
Launching a car detailing franchise in 2025 isn’t just about opening a shop — it’s about building a brand, earning trust, and staying updated with trends. If you bring passion, consistency, and customer-first thinking to the table, success will follow.

How Artificial Intelligence Is Changing the Game in Social Media Marketing
Hey there, curious marketer! If you’re wondering how to make your social media game stronger, artificial intelligence (AI) is the tool you need to know about. As someone who’s seen the marketing world shift, I’m excited to walk you through how AI is shaking things up in social media marketing in 2025. Let’s explore what AI does, why it matters, and how it can help you connect with your audience, backed by solid insights to keep you in the loop.
What’s AI Doing in Social Media Marketing?
AI is like a super-smart assistant that helps businesses understand and reach their audience better. It’s not just about posting pretty pictures on Instagram or X—it’s about using data to make every move count. A 2024 HubSpot report says 78% of marketers now use AI tools for social media, up from 55% in 2022. Why? Because AI saves time, boosts results, and makes campaigns smarter.
In places like Bhubaneswar, where businesses are growing fast, digital marketing services in Bhubaneswar are leaning on AI to compete. From small startups to big brands, AI is making social media marketing more effective by analyzing data, predicting trends, and automating tasks. Let’s break down the key ways AI is changing the game.
Creating Content That Hits the Mark
Coming up with fresh content ideas can feel like a full-time job, but AI makes it easier. Tools like Jasper or Copy.ai can whip up engaging captions, blog posts, or ad copy in seconds. They analyze what your audience likes—say, short Reels or witty X posts—and suggest ideas that match. A 2024 Sprout Social study found that AI-generated content increases engagement by 20% when it’s fine-tuned to audience preferences.
For example, a Bhubaneswar cafe could use AI to craft posts about its new monsoon menu, targeting local foodies. By studying past likes and comments, AI ensures the content feels personal and relevant. This means more clicks, shares, and customers walking through the door.
Understanding Your Audience Like Never Before
AI doesn’t just guess what your audience wants—it knows. Platforms like Hootsuite Insights use AI to dig into social media data, spotting patterns in what people say and do online. Want to know if your followers in Bhubaneswar prefer video ads or carousel posts? AI can tell you. According to a 2024 Forrester report, businesses using AI for audience analysis see a 15% boost in campaign performance.
This is huge for digital marketing services in Bhubaneswar, where understanding local trends is key. AI can track sentiment—like how people feel about a new product launch—or identify hot topics, like eco-friendly brands. This helps you create campaigns that resonate, whether you’re targeting Gen Z on TikTok or professionals on LinkedIn.
Automating the Boring Stuff
Let’s be real: scheduling posts, replying to comments, and tracking analytics can eat up your day. AI takes care of these tasks so you can focus on the fun stuff, like brainstorming campaigns. Tools like Buffer or Later use AI to schedule posts at the best times for engagement, based on when your audience is online. A 2024 Social Media Examiner survey says 65% of marketers save 10+ hours a week with AI automation.
For instance, a Bhubaneswar boutique could use AI to auto-respond to Instagram DMs about store hours or sales, keeping customers happy without manual effort. Plus, AI chatbots can handle basic queries 24/7, making your brand feel responsive and caring.
Making Ads Smarter and Cheaper
Running ads on social media can feel like throwing money into a black hole, but AI makes every rupee count. Platforms like Meta and Google Ads use AI to target the right people—say, Bhubaneswar shoppers interested in sustainable fashion. AI analyzes user behavior, like what they search or watch, to show ads to those most likely to buy. A 2024 eMarketer study notes AI-driven ads cut costs by 30% while increasing conversions by 25%.
This means small businesses can compete with big players, reaching their audience without breaking the bank. AI also tests different ad versions—like changing the headline or image—to find what works best, saving you guesswork.
Why This Matters in 2025
Social media is more crowded than ever, and standing out is tough. AI gives you an edge by making your marketing faster, smarter, and more personal. India’s digital ad spend is set to hit $10 billion by 2026, per a 2024 Deloitte report, with AI leading the charge. Whether you’re a Bhubaneswar startup or a national brand, AI helps you connect with your audience in ways that feel genuine.
As you plan your next campaign, think about how AI can simplify your work and boost your results. From crafting posts to targeting ads, it’s like having a marketing genius on your team. Start exploring AI tools, tap into local expertise, and watch your social media efforts soar. The future of marketing is here—let’s make it work for you!

Why Generative AI Is the Hottest Tech in Healthcare Right Now
The healthcare industry has always been at the forefront of technological innovation. From the invention of the stethoscope to robotic surgeries and telemedicine, each wave of advancement has transformed how care is delivered. But today, there’s a new technological revolution sweeping the industry — Generative Artificial Intelligence.
Tumblr media
Unlike traditional AI systems that focus on pattern recognition or prediction, generative AI creates new data based on existing data. This revolutionary capability is unlocking unprecedented possibilities in diagnosis, drug discovery, medical documentation, patient engagement, and beyond. Let’s explore why generative AI has become the most talked-about innovation in healthcare today.
1. Understanding Generative AI in Healthcare
Generative AI for Healthcare refers to algorithms that can produce new content — text, images, audio, video, or even molecular structures — by learning from existing data. At its core are models like Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and Transformer-based architectures such as GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer). In the healthcare domain, these models are fine-tuned with medical data to serve various use cases, from summarizing electronic health records (EHRs) to generating synthetic medical images for training purposes.
2. Revolutionizing Medical Imaging
Medical imaging is one of the most promising areas for generative AI. Traditionally, diagnostic imaging like X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans requires expert radiologists to analyze and interpret results. However, this manual analysis is time-consuming and prone to human error.
Generative AI can enhance imaging diagnostics in several ways:
Image Enhancement and Reconstruction: Generative models can improve the resolution and clarity of medical scans. Low-quality or noisy images can be reconstructed for better visibility, aiding accurate diagnoses.
Synthetic Data Generation: High-quality, labeled medical imaging data is often limited. Generative AI can create synthetic images to augment datasets, helping train diagnostic AI systems without risking patient privacy.
Anomaly Detection: Generative models trained on healthy anatomy can learn to reconstruct what a healthy scan should look like. Differences between the real and generated images can then highlight anomalies like tumors, fractures, or infections.
This means quicker, more reliable diagnoses — especially in remote areas where radiologists may not be available.
3. Transforming Clinical Documentation
One of the most burdensome tasks for healthcare professionals is documentation. Doctors spend a significant portion of their time inputting data into electronic health records (EHRs), often at the cost of face-to-face patient time.
Generative AI tools can automate and streamline this process by:
Summarizing Patient Interactions: Voice-to-text tools powered by generative AI can transcribe and summarize doctor-patient conversations in real time.
Auto-Filling EHRs: These systems can auto-generate clinical notes, prescriptions, and discharge summaries by analyzing structured and unstructured data from conversations and past records.
Natural Language Interfaces: Chat-like interfaces powered by generative models can help physicians query patient data, schedule follow-ups, or retrieve lab results using natural language commands.
This not only reduces clinician burnout but also improves record accuracy, benefiting both healthcare providers and patients.
4. Enhancing Drug Discovery and Development
Developing a new drug can take over a decade and cost billions. A significant chunk of this time is spent on early-stage research and molecular discovery. Generative AI is accelerating this process by:
Molecule Generation: AI models can generate potential drug candidates by predicting molecular structures with desired properties, narrowing down millions of possibilities in a fraction of the time.
Protein Folding Prediction: Tools like AlphaFold and generative models help simulate how proteins fold, aiding in understanding disease mechanisms and identifying drug targets.
Personalized Medicine: By generating personalized treatment protocols based on a patient’s genomic and clinical profile, generative AI can drive breakthroughs in precision medicine.
These advances mean faster, cheaper, and more targeted therapies that could revolutionize how diseases are treated.
5. Empowering Personalized Patient Engagement
Healthcare is becoming increasingly patient-centric, and generative AI is playing a major role in making care more accessible, personalized, and interactive. AI-powered chatbots and virtual health assistants are being used to:
Answer Patient Queries: Chatbots can address frequently asked questions, reducing the burden on administrative staff and improving responsiveness.
Provide Health Education: Generative models can customize educational content based on patient demographics, conditions, and language preferences.
Mental Health Support: Some platforms use generative AI to simulate conversations for therapy-like interactions, offering support and companionship to people with mild mental health conditions.
Chronic Care Management: Personalized reminders, AI-generated reports, and virtual coaching can help patients manage chronic conditions like diabetes or hypertension more effectively.
This level of engagement fosters better adherence to treatment plans, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes.
6. Training and Education for Medical Professionals
Medical training requires exposure to a wide variety of cases. However, real-life access to diverse scenarios can be limited. Generative AI addresses this challenge by:
Creating Virtual Patient Cases: AI-generated clinical scenarios allow students to practice diagnostics and decision-making in a safe, simulated environment.
Anatomical Simulations: 3D models generated by AI can be used for surgical training or anatomy education.
Language Translation and Localization: Generative tools can translate medical content and documentation into various languages with cultural sensitivity, improving global medical training.
As a result, healthcare professionals can gain better hands-on experience before stepping into real clinical settings.
7. Facilitating Early Disease Detection
Generative AI is particularly powerful in identifying subtle signs of disease that might escape human eyes. In early detection, the key benefits include:
Predictive Text Analysis: By analyzing clinical notes, AI can flag signs of chronic diseases like cancer or Alzheimer’s long before formal diagnosis.
Multi-modal Data Analysis: Generative AI can integrate data from diverse sources — EHRs, imaging, lab tests — to form a comprehensive health profile, improving detection accuracy.
Predicting Disease Progression: These models can simulate how a condition is likely to evolve in an individual patient, enabling proactive intervention.
Early diagnosis saves lives — and generative AI is giving doctors the tools to act sooner.
8. Overcoming Language and Accessibility Barriers
One often-overlooked benefit of generative AI is its ability to enhance accessibility:
Multilingual Support: Generative AI can translate medical documents, consent forms, or instructions into multiple languages, making healthcare more inclusive.
Text-to-Speech and Speech-to-Text: These features help visually impaired or hearing-impaired individuals better access healthcare information.
Adaptive Interfaces: Generative systems can adjust content complexity for different literacy levels, ensuring comprehension across diverse patient populations.
By democratizing access to medical information, generative AI promotes health equity.
9. Boosting Operational Efficiency
Beyond clinical use, generative AI also improves the efficiency of healthcare operations:
Scheduling and Resource Allocation: AI tools can optimize doctor schedules, appointment bookings, and hospital bed management.
Billing and Coding Automation: Generative models can automatically extract and code relevant data for insurance claims, reducing errors and delays.
Administrative Chatbots: Virtual assistants handle tasks like appointment confirmations and insurance verification, streamlining workflows.
These efficiencies free up human resources for more value-added work.
10. Ethical Considerations and Challenges
Despite its promise, generative AI in healthcare also raises important concerns:
Data Privacy: Generative models trained on sensitive patient data must be governed by strict data protection protocols.
Bias and Fairness: If training data lacks diversity, AI may produce biased outputs, affecting marginalized populations.
Hallucinations: Generative AI models occasionally fabricate information — a critical risk in high-stakes environments like healthcare.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that generative AI tools meet healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, FDA approvals) is vital.
Addressing these challenges is key to responsible AI deployment.
11. The Future of Generative AI in Healthcare
As generative AI continues to evolve, its integration with other technologies like Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), blockchain, and digital twins could redefine healthcare ecosystems.
We can expect:
Hyper-personalized treatment plans.
AI-assisted robotic surgeries.
Real-time monitoring and diagnosis using AI-generated insights.
Decentralized data marketplaces where synthetic data preserves privacy but powers innovation
Conclusion
Generative AI is not just a trend it’s a tectonic shift in the healthcare landscape. From diagnostics and documentation to patient engagement and drug discovery, its potential is vast and transformative.
Healthcare stakeholders hospitals, startups, pharma companies, and governments are already investing heavily in this technology. As we balance innovation with ethics and regulation, one thing is clear: generative AI is redefining what’s possible in healthcare.

I had a pretty good week and have a bunch of quality of life improvements to roll out.
full changelog
highlights
The 'check now' button in 'edit subscriptions' and 'edit subscription' is now more intelligent and handles pause status. It'll ask you about paused subscriptions and queries, and it better examines and navigates what you can and will be resurrecting.
If you shrink the search page's 'preview' window down to 0 pixel size, it now recognises it is hidden and will no longer load videos and stuff in the background!
In the parsing system, the 'character set' choice for a 'String Match' now includes the quick-select options for hexadecimal and base64 chars.
When hitting share->copy hashes on a thumbnail, the program now loads up the md5, sha1, and sha512 hashes into the menu labels, so you can now verify md5s or whatever at a glance.
I wrote a thing for API devs and any other advanced users interested in hydrus content updates about how the Current Deleted Pending Petitioned model works in hydrus: https://hydrusnetwork.github.io/hydrus/developer_api.html#CDPP. I went into very specific detail because when talking about this with a user the other day, I couldn't remember it perfectly myself.
Lastly, I am happy to say that I succeeded in doing, as I planned, some meaty background work. The 'Metadata Conditional' object, which does 'does this file have x property, yes/no?', and which I have been thinking about for a couple years, got its first version, and it went a lot better and simpler than I expected. The whole thing plugs into the existing system predicate system and will share much edit UI with it. The MC will be a key lego brick in the development of the duplicate auto-resolution system, and most of the comparison logic for the first version is essentially done now. I pretty much just have to write the database tables and maintenance daemon, and then some UI, so fingers crossed it won't be too long before I am rolling it out for advanced users to play with.
next week
I want to add local media file path fetching to the API and do a bit of API permissions cleanup.

Hello A-V-J. I am writing with a request for help. Well, I'm going to make fandubs of your comics (actually, I've already done a few of them, but that's a detail) and I wanted them to be in chronological order, and that's the problem. I have a set order, but I don't know if it's correct (CC means that there will be a compilation comics here):
1.The Beginning of AVJverse, 2.Kustard, 3.DestructiveDeath Extinction Origin, 4.AE Compilation, 5.CC, 6.MOE, 7.CC, 8.Glitched, 9. How to delete google history
Tumblr media
How to Delete Google History: A Comprehensive Guide How to delete google history. Managing your online privacy has become increasingly important in today’s digital age, and one of the easiest steps you can take to protect your privacy is deleting your Google search history. Google, like many other tech companies, collects a significant amount of data about your online activities to enhance your experience, but it also means that your history is stored indefinitely unless you choose to delete it. This guide provides a detailed, step-by-step explanation on how to delete your Google history on various platforms and addresses concerns around what happens to your data once it is deleted. 1. Understanding the Importance of Deleting Your Google History Google keeps track of your online activity across its services—such as searches on Google Search, YouTube videos watched, and interactions with Google Assistant—to offer personalized recommendations, advertising, and search results. While this data collection can improve user experience, it also raises privacy concerns. Deleting your Google history can: - Enhance your privacy: Ensure that sensitive searches or personal information do not remain stored indefinitely. - Prevent tracking: Reduce Google’s ability to track your online habits and target ads. - Improve device performance: Free up space on your devices if you often search on mobile or desktop browsers. - Avoid targeted advertising: Google uses search and browsing data for targeted advertising. Removing this data can help you see fewer personalized ads. 2. How to Delete Google History on Desktop Google provides several options to manage and delete your history. Here’s a step-by-step guide for deleting your history on a desktop browser: a) Delete Google Search History - Go to Google My Activity: - Open your web browser and go to Google My Activity, the hub for managing your Google activity. - Choose “Delete Activity by”: - Once you’re on the Google My Activity page, click on the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner. Select “Delete activity by” from the dropdown menu. - Select the Time Range: - Google allows you to delete your search history for different time ranges. You can choose between: - Last hour - Last day - All time - Custom range (to choose specific dates) - Confirm the Action: - After selecting the time range, confirm that you want to delete your search history. Your selected activity will be erased. b) Delete Specific Searches If you don’t want to delete your entire search history but prefer to remove specific items: - Visit Google My Activity. - Scroll down to see a list of your recent searches. - Find the individual search query you want to delete. - Click the three-dot icon next to the entry, and choose “Delete.” c) Auto-Delete Google History Google offers an auto-delete feature, which lets you automatically delete your activity after a certain period. Here’s how to set it up: - Visit Google My Activity. - Click on the “Web & App Activity” section. - Select “Auto-delete.” - Choose the desired time period: - Keep activity until I delete it manually (no auto-deletion). - Keep activity for 18 months. - Keep activity for 3 months. - Confirm your selection.
Tumblr media
3. How to Delete Google History on Mobile (Android & iOS) You can also manage and delete your Google history using the Google app on mobile devices. Here’s how to do it: a) Deleting History via the Google App - Open the Google App: - Launch the Google app on your Android or iOS device. - Tap on Your Profile Picture: - In the top-right corner, tap on your profile picture or initial to access the settings. - Go to Search History: - In the dropdown menu, tap on “Search history.” This will open your Google search history. - Delete Search Activity: - You can either delete specific searches by tapping the “X” next to the query or tap the “Delete” option at the top to erase all history for a specific period (last hour, last day, etc.). b) Deleting Google Chrome History on Mobile If you use Chrome to access Google, you can delete your browsing history from the app: - Open Chrome: - Launch the Chrome app on your device. - Tap the Three-Dot Menu: - In the top-right corner, tap the three-dot menu. - Select History: - From the dropdown menu, choose “History,” and you’ll see a list of visited websites. - Delete Browsing Data: - Tap on “Clear browsing data” and select a time range (Last hour, Last 24 hours, etc.). - Check the boxes for what you want to delete, such as “Browsing history” and “Cookies and site data.” - Tap “Clear data” to complete the process. 4. How to Delete Google History Using Voice Commands You can even delete your Google history through Google Assistant voice commands: - Say “Hey Google” or hold down your home button to activate Google Assistant. - Ask, “Delete my last search” or “Delete today’s search activity.” - Confirm the action when prompted. This method allows quick, hands-free history management, especially useful for mobile users. 5. How to Clear History on Google Chrome (Desktop) If you use Google Chrome, clearing your browsing history can ensure that search and site data is not stored locally: - Open Chrome: - Launch the Chrome browser on your desktop. - Click the Three-Dot Menu: - In the upper-right corner, click the three-dot menu to open Chrome’s settings. - Navigate to History: - From the dropdown menu, select “History,” and a new tab will open showing your browsing history. - Clear Browsing Data: - In the left panel, click “Clear browsing data.” - In the pop-up window, select the time range for which you want to delete the data (e.g., Last hour, Last 7 days, All time). - Choose what data to delete (browsing history, cookies, cached files, etc.), then click “Clear data.” 6. How to Delete YouTube Search and Watch History Your YouTube search and watch history is also part of your Google data. To delete it: - Open YouTube: Visit the YouTube website or open the app. - Go to Settings: Click on your profile picture in the upper-right corner and select “Settings.” - Go to History & Privacy: In the settings menu, select “History & privacy.” - Delete History: Choose “Clear watch history” or “Clear search history,” depending on what you want to delete. - Pause History: You can also pause YouTube from saving your watch and search history by toggling the respective switches. 7. What Happens After You Delete Your Google History? It’s important to understand what happens after you delete your history: - Immediate Deletion: When you delete your history from Google’s My Activity, it is removed from your Google account and cannot be retrieved. - Google’s Data Retention Policy: While your activity is deleted from view, Google may retain some data for security and compliance reasons (such as preventing fraud or abuse). - Impact on Recommendations: Deleting your history may affect Google’s ability to offer personalized recommendations or search suggestions. However, many users see this as a trade-off for increased privacy. 8. Additional Tips for Maintaining Privacy Deleting your Google history is just one step toward better privacy. Here are additional measures you can take: - Use Incognito Mode: When browsing privately, use Incognito mode on Google Chrome to prevent the browser from saving your activity. - Regularly Check Your Privacy Settings: Visit your Google account settings to adjust privacy controls and activity tracking preferences. - Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Securing your account with 2FA reduces the risk of unauthorized access to your data. - Use Alternative Search Engines: Consider using privacy-focused search engines like DuckDuckGo, which do not track your searches. Deleting your Google history is a straightforward yet crucial step in protecting your online privacy. Whether you’re looking to remove specific queries or auto-delete all your data after a set period, Google offers several tools and settings to help you manage your information. With growing concerns over data privacy and online security, regularly reviewing and deleting your Google history can safeguard your personal information and enhance your control over your digital footprint. Learn How to make Responsive Website
Tumblr media
Creating a responsive website involves designing and developing a website that adapts to different screen sizes and devices, providing an optimal viewing experience for users. Here’s a step-by-step guide to making a responsive website:
Use a Responsive Grid Layout
CSS Grid or Flexbox: Utilize CSS Grid or Flexbox to create flexible and responsive layouts. These CSS tools allow you to arrange elements in a grid or flexible boxes that adjust to the screen size.
Fluid Grid System: Instead of fixed-width layouts, use a fluid grid system where the widths of the columns are defined in percentages rather than pixels.
Flexible Images and Media
Responsive Images: Ensure images scale with the screen size by setting their maximum width to 100% (img { max-width: 100%; height: auto; }).
CSS Media Queries: Use media queries to apply different styles based on the screen size. This allows you to serve appropriately sized images and styles for various devices.
Media Queries
Define Breakpoints: Set breakpoints using media queries to apply different styles at specific screen widths. For example:
css
Copy code
@media (max-width: 768px) {
/* Styles for tablets and mobile devices */
}
@media (max-width: 480px) {
/* Styles for mobile devices */
}
Adjust Layouts: Change the layout (e.g., switch from multi-column to single-column) or hide/show elements based on the screen size.
Responsive Typography
Flexible Font Sizes: Use relative units like em or rem for font sizes instead of pixels, allowing text to scale based on screen size.
Viewport Units: Consider using viewport-based units (vw, vh) for font sizes to make text responsive to the screen size.
Mobile-First Approach
Design for Mobile First: Start by designing for smaller screens, then use media queries to progressively enhance the design for larger screens. This ensures a solid foundation for mobile users.
Simplified Layouts: Prioritize content and use a simplified layout for mobile devices, reducing unnecessary elements that could clutter the screen.
Responsive Navigation
Hamburger Menu: For mobile screens, replace traditional navigation bars with a hamburger menu to save space and improve usability.
Dropdown Menus: Use dropdown menus that are easy to navigate on smaller screens.
Test on Multiple Devices
Browser Developer Tools: Use developer tools in browsers to test the responsiveness of your website on different screen sizes.
Real Devices: Test on actual devices (smartphones, tablets, desktops) to ensure the website works well across all platforms.
Optimize Performance
Minimize File Sizes: Compress images and minify CSS/JS files to reduce load times, which is crucial for mobile users.
Lazy Loading: Implement lazy loading for images and other media to improve page load times, especially on mobile devices.
CSS Frameworks
Bootstrap: Consider using a responsive CSS framework like Bootstrap, which comes with pre-built responsive components and grid systems.
Tailwind CSS: Another option is Tailwind CSS, which allows you to build custom designs with responsive utility classes.
Accessibility Considerations
Touch-Friendly Elements: Ensure buttons and interactive elements are large enough to be easily tapped on touchscreens.
Responsive Tables: Make tables responsive by using overflow-x: auto; or breaking them into smaller components for small screens.
By following these steps, you can create a website that looks and works well on any device, providing a seamless user experience across different screen sizes.

SNOWFLAKE COST
Understanding Snowflake Costs: A Guide to Optimizing Your Spending
Snowflake has quickly become a leading cloud data warehouse solution, favored for its ease of use, scalability, and performance. However, like any powerful tool, understanding the cost implications is essential for maximizing the return on your Snowflake investment.
In this blog post, we’ll examine the key factors driving Snowflake costs and offer practical tips for managing and optimizing them.
How Snowflake Pricing Works
Snowflake operates on a credit-based consumption model. This means you pay for what you use, offering flexibility and requiring careful attention to avoid unexpected expenses. Here’s a breakdown of the primary cost components:
Compute Resources: The core of Snowflake pricing revolves around virtual warehouses. These are the compute engines that process your queries and workloads. Each warehouse has a size (e.g., X-Small, Medium, 3X-Large) that determines its processing power and the rate at which it consumes credits per second.
Storage: You’re charged for the average amount of compressed data you store in Snowflake tables over a month. Snowflake offers both On-Demand and Pre-Purchased (Capacity) storage options.
Data Transfer: While data transfer within the same cloud region is generally free, you’ll incur costs when transferring data between regions or to external systems.
Key Strategies to Optimize Your Snowflake Costs
Now that you understand how Snowflake pricing works let’s explore practical strategies to keep costs in check:
Right-sizing Virtual Warehouses: Choosing the right warehouse size is crucial. Oversized warehouses burn credits unnecessarily, while undersized ones lead to slow performance. Monitor your workloads closely and adjust warehouse sizes as needed.
Auto-Suspend and Auto-Resume: Enable auto-suspend to pause idle warehouses, preventing them from consuming credits. Set auto-resume to start them again when queries are submitted automatically.
Leverage Pre-Purchased Capacity: Consider pre-purchased capacity for potential discounts if you have predictable storage needs.
Efficient Query Design: Poorly written queries can lead to excessive resource usage. Optimize your SQL code, use appropriate indexing and leverage query performance optimization tools.
Data Retention Policies: Establish clear data retention policies to delete or archive older data that are no longer actively used, saving on storage costs.
Cost Monitoring and Governance: Use Snowflake’s built-in cost monitoring tools and set up alerts for budget thresholds. Implement governance processes to track costs by department, project, or team.
Additional Tips
Start Small, Scale Smart: Start with smaller warehouses and monitor resource usage. Scale up gradually as needed.
Take Advantage of Free Tiers: Snowflake sometimes offers free usage tiers to help you get started.
Consider Snowflake Editions: Different Snowflake editions (Standard, Enterprise, etc.) offer varying levels of features and pricing. Choose the edition that best suits your needs.
Conclusion
Snowflake provides a powerful data warehousing platform, but managing costs is essential. By understanding the pricing model, implementing optimization strategies, and continuously monitoring your usage, you can ensure that you’re getting maximum value from your Snowflake investment.

The Taylor Swift deepfake debacle was frustratingly preventable
Tumblr media
You know you’ve screwed up when you’ve simultaneously angered the White House, the TIME Person of the Year, and pop culture’s most rabid fanbase. That’s what happened last week to X, the Elon Musk-owned platform formerly called Twitter, when AI-generated, pornographic deepfake images of Taylor Swift went viral.
One of the most widespread posts of the nonconsensual, explicit deepfakes was viewed more than 45 million times, with hundreds of thousands of likes. That doesn’t even factor in all the accounts that reshared the images in separate posts – once an image has been circulated that widely, it’s basically impossible to remove.

X lacks the infrastructure to identify abusive content quickly and at scale. Even in the Twitter days, this issue was difficult to remedy, but it’s become much worse since Musk gutted so much of Twitter’s staff, including the majority of its trust and safety teams. So, Taylor Swift’s massive and passionate fanbase took matters into their own hands, flooding search results for queries like “taylor swift ai” and “taylor swift deepfake” to make it more difficult for users to find the abusive images. As the White House’s press secretary called on Congress to do something, X simply banned the search term “taylor swift” for a few days. When users searched the musician’s name, they would see a notice that an error had occurred.
This content moderation failure became a national news story, since Taylor Swift is Taylor Swift. But if social platforms can’t protect one of the most famous women in the world, who can they protect?
“If you have what happened to Taylor Swift happen to you, as it’s been happening to so many people, you’re likely not going to have the same amount of support based on clout, which means you won’t have access to these really important communities of care,” Dr. Carolina Are, a fellow at Northumbria University’s Centre for Digital Citizens in the U.K., told TechCrunch. “And these communities of care are what most users are having to resort to in these situations, which really shows you the failure of content moderation.”
Banning the search term “taylor swift” is like putting a piece of Scotch tape on a burst pipe. There’s many obvious workarounds, like how TikTok users search for “seggs” instead of sex. The search block was something that X could implement to make it look like they’re doing something, but it doesn’t stop people from just searching “t swift” instead. Copia Institute and Techdirt founder Mike Masnick called the effort “a sledge hammer version of trust & safety.”
“Platforms suck when it comes to giving women, non-binary people and queer people agency over their bodies, so they replicate offline systems of abuse and patriarchy,” Are said. “If your moderation systems are incapable of reacting in a crisis, or if your moderation systems are incapable of reacting to users’ needs when they’re reporting that something is wrong, we have a problem.”
So, what should X have done to prevent the Taylor Swift fiasco anyway?
Are asks these questions as part of her research, and proposes that social platforms need a complete overhaul of how they handle content moderation. Recently, she conducted a series of roundtable discussions with 45 internet users from around the world who are impacted by censorship and abuse to issue recommendations to platforms about how to enact change.
One recommendation is for social media platforms to be more transparent with individual users about decisions regarding their account or their reports about other accounts.
“You have no access to a case record, even though platforms do have access to that material – they just don’t want to make it public,” Are said. “I think when it comes to abuse, people need a more personalized, contextual and speedy response that involves, if not face-to-face help, at least direct communication.”
X announced this week that it would hire 100 content moderators to work out of a new “Trust and Safety” center in Austin, Texas. But under Musk’s purview, the platform has not set a strong precedent for protecting marginalized users from abuse. It can also be challenging to take Musk at face value, since the mogul has a long track record of failing to deliver on his promises. When he first bought Twitter, Musk declared he would form a content moderation council before making major decisions. This did not happen.
In the case of AI-generated deepfakes, the onus is not just on social platforms. It’s also on the companies who create consumer-facing generative AI products.
According to an investigation by 404 Media, the abusive depictions of Swift came from a Telegram group devoted to creating nonconsensual, explicit deepfakes. The users in the group often use Microsoft Designer, which draws from Open AI’s DALL-E 3 to generate images based on inputted prompts. In a loophole that Microsoft has since addressed, users could generate images of celebrities by writing prompts like “taylor ‘singer’ swift” or “jennifer ‘actor’ aniston.”
A principal software engineering lead at Microsoft, Shane Jones wrote a letter to the Washington state attorney general stating that he found vulnerabilities in DALL-E 3 in December, which made it possible to “bypass some of the guardrails that are designed to prevent the model from creating and distributing harmful images.”
Jones alerted Microsoft and OpenAI to the vulnerabilities, but after two weeks, he had received no indication that the issues were being addressed. So, he posted an open letter on LinkedIn to urge OpenAI to suspend the availability of DALL-E 3. Jones alerted Microsoft to his letter, but he was swiftly asked to take it down.
“We need to hold companies accountable for the safety of their products and their responsibility to disclose known risks to the public,” Jones wrote in his letter to the state attorney general. “Concerned employees, like myself, should not be intimidated into staying silent.”
As the world’s most influential companies bet big on AI, platforms need to take a proactive approach to regulate abusive content – but even in an era when making celebrity deepfakes wasn’t so easy, violative behavior easily evaded moderation.
“It really shows you that platforms are unreliable,” Are said. “Marginalized communities have to trust their followers and fellow users more than the people that are technically in charge of our safety online.”

ChartBrew
Tumblr media
BI tools are softwares that take huge amounts of data from all kinds of sources and process them to produce charts and graphs and other different types of visual media for easy understanding. There are many BI tools available on the market, both proprietary and open source, and one such tool is ChartBrew.
ChartBrew is an open source tool freely available to use. It’s licensed under MIT that means we can also modify it according to our needs. Chartbrew is a web based software,  written in JavaScript. React is used to create the frontend and Node.Js framework for backend.
Features
Let’s talk about the features offered in this tool. ChartBrew supports various data sources including major databases like MongoDB, MySql, and analytics sources such as Google, Simple, Plausible. It also has support for REST API giving us the opportunity to create a custom data source if needed.
ChartBrew has a query editor to write queries to our data sources giving us more freedom in fetching data in the shape of our need. Now with the data we can create different kinds of charts and graphs and also KPIs. These charts can be set to auto update themselves, meaning they will keep fetching data from source at regular intervals and present updated information.
Next ChartBrew provides the means to embed these charts as iframes wherever needed. If we don’t want to embed charts but just want to view them, we can create a public dashboard in it, which gives us a public facing URL, accessible from anywhere.
Installation
Now let’s install it and check it out. First clone the repo:
git clone [email protected]:chartbrew/chartbrew.git
Next go to the chartbrew directory and run:
npm run setup
ChartBrew also requires mysql. So install that if you don’t already have it. Create a ‘chartbrewdev’ name database and then add the db username and password to the .env file, namely CB_DB_USERNAME_DEV and CB_DB_PASSWORD_DEV variables.
And finally start it by running:
npm run client
for frontend, and for backend,
npm run server
Creating a Project
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Let’s give it the name ‘BI Tools’.
Now we create a connection i.e., we choose our data source. I’m choosing MongoDB.
Fill in the usual db details for creating a db connection, test it and then save it.
Creating a Chart
Now we create a chart, first choose the chart name and click ‘Start Editing’. You can then follow the small walkthrough explaining what is what.
Now we are at the chart builder page. For our chart we need to create a dataset, so click on ‘Add the first dataset’ button choose the dataset name, save it and then select the datasource. I chose MongoDB before and saved the connections by ‘mongo-source’ name so I can see that in the list and I select it.
Now click on the ‘Make Request’ button, this will open the query editor and again a little walkthrough. In my database there is a collection ‘blogs’ which store details regarding a blog such as ‘title’, ‘author’, ‘likes’, and ‘comments’. So my query is:
connection.collection(‘blogs’).find()
On clicking ‘Test the query’, query’s response is displayed on the right side:
Next I save the query for future usage and click on the ‘Build the chart’ button. Then the chart builder page will open again, and now we choose what data should appear on the chart’s X and Y axis. I want to know t he number of likes on each blog so I choose ‘title’ for X-axis and ‘likes’ for Y-axis. And voila, our chart is ready!
As we can see there are other chart options we can choose from such as bar chart, pie chart, polar chart etc. There are some other features available here too like adding filters, modifying axis data, changing colors used on charts, exporting data to excel sheets.
Embedding Charts
Now we want to embed our chart somewhere else, so first we remove it from draft mode by toggling ‘Draft’ mode at the top of the chart. Next go to ‘Dashboard’ from the left side nav.

Public Dashboard

Toggle ‘Make Public’ and it’s done. As you can see we can also modify the URL to whatever we want.
Finally our BI tool is ready!
Final thoughts
ChartBrew also has options to manage teams and a granular permission system for creating and modifying charts among other things.
This was a small tutorial on how to use ChartBrew. There are a lot of tools out there but I personally like ChartBrew because of its simplicity to use, its MIT licensing and that it’s coded in React and NodeJs. Your mileage may vary. Cheers!

Beyond the Hype: Exploring GTA 6’s Leaks and Speculations
Tumblr media
As the gaming world eagerly awaits the next installment in the iconic Grand Theft Auto series, rumors and expectations surrounding GTA 6 have reached a fever pitch. Rockstar Games, the developer behind the franchise, officially confirmed the game’s development in February 2022, but official updates have been sparse, leaving fans hungry for information. Here’s a comprehensive look at the information and rumors circulating about GTA 6.
Release Date Speculation
The release date for GTA 6 remains elusive, but numerous hints suggest it could arrive in 2024. A statement made by Take-Two’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, about the company’s optimistic outlook for its fiscal year 2025 supports the rumor of a late 2024 release.
The Leaks That Shook the Gaming World
In an unexpected twist, a major leak gave gamers a sneak peek into the development of GTA 6. Several videos and screenshots of the game’s pre-alpha build were leaked, showcasing new aspects such as the setting, enhanced ragdoll physics, and a changing climate. Rockstar confirmed the authenticity of the leaks but expressed disappointment that their work had been unveiled prematurely.
The Setting
One of the most exciting revelations from the leaks is that GTA 6 seems to be set in a fictional version of Miami, harking back to the beloved Vice City. However, the leaks revealed that the game will be set in modern times, not in the 80s as previously speculated. The game’s world promises to be expansive, with post-launch updates expected to introduce new cities and territories outside of the US. The rumors seem to lead towards the inclusion of new areas inspired by different Latin American countries.
Playability and Characters
The game’s story will feature a playable female protagonist, who partners with a male lead, which seems to be inspired by the infamous bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde.
Platform Availability
While PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S are almost certain platforms for GTA 6, the game’s availability on PS4 and Xbox One remains uncertain due to potential hardware limitations. The longer the release of the game takes, the less likely it will be available on old generation consoles.
Official Trailer
As of now, there’s no official trailer for GTA 6. Rockstar has not made a single new announcement related to the game since its initial reveal in early 2022. However, some fans are hopeful that there might be official news about the game on the franchise’s anniversary on November 28th.
The anticipation surrounding Grand Theft Auto 6 is huge, fueled by leaks and industry hints. Players are eagerly expecting a complete official reveal to answer the numerous queries and rumors surrounding the game, even though the release date is still unknown. Rockstar Games has a reputation for delivering groundbreaking titles, and expectations for GTA 6 are soaring sky-high. Until new official information is released, fans will continue to discuss every new rumor surrounding the game.
