Uhhhh babblin abt dullahan character They're a fully grown shade parasite, so i guess they don't count as a parasite anymore?? Anyway. They look the way they do (re: headless) bc as a little shade shit, their entry point for their host was the back of the neck, and as they developed in their host, that wound gradually got worse and worse and ended up killing the host. The dullahan was developed enough to do just fine puppeteering a corpse for awhile until they matured, and when they finally manifested their own form, they kinda liked the whole severed head thing and kept it as a neat feature They operate on intimidation tactics mainly, they're not all that strong in actuality but their little extendo-neck trick scares off a lot of people. They make themself out to be a spirit or a ghost rather than an actual Shade entity, convincing locals of whatever area they're living in that they're this untouchable entity, an omen of death and bad luck that they should avoid or attempt to appease instead of confront. They're like a con artist, but the con is just getting people to stay away and not kill them. If they were faced with a Paladin that had any kind of Shade-sensing capabilities and could cast any kind of banishing/anti-Shade magic, they'd be in trouble lmao. They're just a piddly little shit hiding behind a headless horseman myth

Hello I have things to say!!! Just lil updates!

1. I have two new story ideas (one fanfic, one original) that I have been rotating endlessly in my mind for a while, and it has been so long since I wrote instead of just planned and continuously brainstormed, but!! Think I might at least attempt to actually write a little bit for both! And I am excited o.o

2. It has been far too long since I updated my theme and guess what! It's the year of the snake! I could totally draw a snake o.O I also have a new profile commission I haven't used yet either so! Heck yeah!

3. Maybe more queue clearing?? It takes forever but heck if I ever get the energy I will gladly try some more

4. Finally thought of a tag for personal posts ("babblin' entity", like a river! I like it!) And gosh it was hard to think of one not self depreciating and also not widely used, but! I like to make all my tags easy to block for just my blog so all of them are a bit unusual, so I think I might make a little glossary and pin that? Maybe?

5. It has been raining and cold all day and almost all night and it's very cozy in my room o.o hope everyone has some cozy today!!
