primarily i made this image to compare xigbar's ass to the rest of the organization (my conclusion being: damn good for you) but holy shit i had gotten so wrapped up in "xigbar is canonically 6'8" that i had somehow not realized "xigbar is smaller than the majority of the adult org members"

finally back home and got the dogs from boarding! Staff said they did great, they said Kep was “SO goofy and had so much fun” and Stellina was “just the sweetest girl ever” which tracks 🥲 they both were filthy though so we had to do a quick bath and groom once we got home. but now we’re all clean and ready for a nice chill weekend!

Week 111, Day 564

Back Width Focus

I was sick the other day and skipped the gym yesterday, but today I pushed myself to the best of my ability despite having a longer recovery time and feeling slightly lethargic.

Finished the obi!!

((Well, I need to close the short ends still, but they're pressed into place and I need to cool off rn from ironing this so many times, but it's basically done!!))

My scissors turned out to be the exact widest size to use for inverting the tube (3.75"/9.5cm wide from the finished outer width), which was great, and surprisingly, it went a lot faster than the bigger obi I made last year (maybe less fabric means less drag?)

I also did need to do 2 more cuts on it to trim the seam allowance to stagger at least one fabric edge (I staggered all 3 layers separately on my larger obi). This one has 2 allowances of the same length, and I gotta remember to not do that again, because the visible thickness is bothering me, but hopefully it'll be less visible when it's worn/not freshly ironed.

My hands smell like hot fabric right now. That's such a good smell, btw. Usually smells on my hands in general bother me, but fresh fabric is always nice.
