It's a bad idea, Right?
Story Summary: You and Law had a bad break up a year ago now you have ran into each other at Sabaody. Not only do you learn your break up was a huge misunderstanding but your feeling for each other quickly return. You know its a bad idea to reconnect with your old captain but there's just something about him.
A/N: Just a short shower thought story that came to my brain while listening to It's a bad idea, right? in the shower.
Law x StrawHat!Reader

ou leaned over, examining a section of plants at a stall in Sabaody. The rest of your crew had gone their own directions to explore, but you, Nami, and Robin ventured to the stalls. You were hoping to find any unique plants, while Nami looked for clothing and Robin for books.
A particular bonsai tree grabbed your interest. It looked like a miniature version of the mangroves that the island was made of. You lifted it, investigating, and a small bubble blew into your face. You flinched, shaking your head with a smile as it popped on your nose. A small giggle escaped your lips as you wiped the soap off your face.
You looked up at the shopkeeper, “How much for this bonsai tree?” you questioned.
The shopkeeper smiled, “For you, 100,000 berries. After all, this is a rare plant that can only be found here at Sabaody.”
A scoff was heard from beside you, “What a scam. The plant won’t even produce the bubbles outside of this Archipelago.”
A chill ran down your spine. You recognized that voice. Your head slowly turned to the owner of the voice. When your eyes finally landed on the scrawny man leaning against the post of the stall, your heart paused for a moment. Trafalgar Law, the captain of the Heart Pirates, one of the pirates of the Worst Generation, and your ex.
You whipped your head back to the shopkeeper, throwing half the amount of berries at him, taking the plant, and turning in the other direction. You knew that the price was obviously a scam and would normally bargain, but with your ex nearby, you couldn’t care less. You just needed to get out of there, regardless of how upset Nami would be with you wasting money.
“Wait! y/n!” Law shouted as you began walking off. He reached out to grab your arm.
When his fingers brushed against your skin, you quickly yanked your arm away, turning to face him, “What do you want?” you asked coldly.
Law backed up, holding his hands up in a sign of peace, “I just… I haven’t… You… I…” He began to stammer. He took a deep breath, “You look good.”
You scoffed, “That’s it? It’s been a year since you left me on that island, and all you have to say is, ‘You look good’?” You shook your head, rolling your eyes.
Law opened his mouth, “I… Uh…”
“Just what I thought,” you scoffed, turning around.
“Wait, please!” he begged, “I didn’t mean to leave you. I didn’t know.”
You paused, “What is that supposed to mean?” You refused to turn back to him, frozen in thought.
“I didn’t know you left the ship,” he quickly explained. “After our fight, I didn’t know you left the ship, and then the marines attacked, and we left in a hurry. If I knew you left the ship that night, I would never have left. I came back!”
You slowly turned your head, “You came back?”
Law sighed in relief, seeing you turn back, “The moment I found out you weren’t on the Tang, I immediately turned back to find you, but you were gone. I searched everywhere for you until a bartender told me you didn’t want to be found.”
You remembered that barkeep. One year ago, you were trying to give Law a tray of dinner since he never showed up to the mess hall. When you went to open the door, you didn’t realize that Law was standing right behind it, and you ran right into him. The tray smashed into his chest, spilling the food all over him. “Shit! Sorry, Law.” You quickly tried to clean off his clothing, but you were just rubbing in the food.
Law grabbed your hand, stopping you from rubbing the food in any further. “y/n, just stop,” he sighed, pulling his shirt off to investigate the stain himself. You blushed, seeing his bare chest. He licked his thumb and started to rub the food out.
“Uh… I’m sorry… I just wanted to surprise you with some food,” you stammered, picking up the food off the ground.
Law sighed, grabbing your shoulder, causing you to meet his eyes. “It’s okay, y/n. I appreciate the thought.” He gave a small smile, which you returned. Your eyes wandered back to his bare chest, and your entire body went red. Law snickered, seeing your face, “Let’s go inside.”
You nodded, following behind him as he closed his chamber door. Your smile grew as you leaned into your boyfriend, placing your hand on his bare chest. Law shook his head, grabbing your hand before leaning down, planting a kiss on your forehead. “Not right now, y/n. I’ve got some more work to do.” He gently pulled your hand away and headed towards his closet, grabbing a new shirt.
You pouted, watching him put the shirt over his head, “But you look so good.” You jumped onto his bed.
Law snickered, “I’m starting to think you ruined my shirt on purpose.”
You gasped in offense, “And waste food like that? I would never!” You laughed as Law sat back down at his desk, “What are you even working on?” you questioned.
Law covered up the book he was reading, “Uh, nothing important.”
You tilted your head, “Law, are you hiding something from me?”
Law paled slightly, “No, of course not.”
You glared slightly, catching his lie. With a circle of your finger, you took control of the plant that hovered above his desk. “Law, why are you lying to me? You’re looking at something vulgar, aren’t you?”
Law blushed, spinning his head over to you, “What? No, of course not.” He waved his hands in defense.
You smirked, “Then what are you hiding?”
“It’s uh… private patient records,” he stammered, another lie.
Your plant made its way to the paperwork he was hiding. The root shifted the top paper off and wrapped around the book, lifting it to your view. You read the words on the cover, ‘Curses and Witchcraft.’ You frowned. Law realized this and whipped around, yanking the book away from your plant.
“Law, we’ve been over this,”You sighed as you sat up, “You can’t cure this. Please stop pushing. You have done more than enough.”
Law dropped the book on his desk with a loud thud, “But it will kill you.”
“Yes, but that day is forever away, thanks to you,” You walked over, grabbing the book off the desk.
“But it’s my fault you have it,” He sighed, lowering his head. Months ago, on a mission, you were fighting a witch, and when she went to attack Law, you jumped in front of him, taking the hit. She hit you with a curse, one that infected your body with a fungus. Law was able to slow down the spread of the fungus, but only that. The fungus was protected by some witchcraft that wouldn’t allow him to fully remove it. A month later, you found that you could control small plants. Law warned you that using this power might cause the fungus to grow, but you found that hard to do. Something gnawed at you when you didn’t use the power.
You shook your head, grabbing Law’s cheek, “Law, saving you is something I would do over and over again without hesitation.”
Law pushed your hand away, “I don’t need you risking yourself to save me.”
You frowned, “Law.”
“No!” He shouted, interrupting you, “You don’t get it! I can’t lose any more people I love!”
“If you keep pushing people away, you will lose them eventually,” you pushed away, looking down at him disappointedly.
Law looked up, hurt, before his features crunched into anger, “Get out,” he mumbled, looking away.
“What?” you looked down in shock.
“Get out!” Law began to shout clearly your comment hit much deeper than you thought it would.
“This is exactly what I am talking about!” You shouted back before storming out the door, slamming it shut.
You took a shaky breath, feeling the need for fresh air to clear your mind. You headed to the deck, ignoring everyone who tried approaching you. When you finally made it outside, you saw the bright lights of the bar across the way and figured a drink was exactly what you needed in the moment.
A few drinks in, you started to regret what you said. You turned to leave the bar, but when you walked out, the Polar Tang was gone. Fear sank inside you, and you ran up to the dock to see if, maybe, just maybe, it wasn’t far.
You screamed into the dark void of the sea until you collapsed to your knees, sobbing, “I’m sorry,” You cried, “I didn’t mean it.”
The few people who were in the bar made their way outside to watch the commotion and felt pity for you. The barkeep came up to you with a blanket, wrapping it around your shoulders before guiding you inside.
Once inside, the barkeep and the nosy women began asking you questions before helping you to the next island, far away from Law.
You shook your head free of the memory, “You came back,” You repeated in disbelief. All this time, you thought Law was pissed at you for what you said and decided you weren’t worth his time anymore, but that was never the case.
Law nodded, “I would never leave you like that.” His eyes pleading. “I’m so sorry.”
You took a deep breath before looking over Law’s shoulder to see Nami and Robin laughing, heading your way, and a smile crossed your lips. “You know what? I forgive you.”
Law blinked in shock, “You do?” He sucked in a hopeful breath.
You nodded, “I mean, it was a shitty thing to do, and I felt shitty for so long, but now,” You lips twitched into a big smile, “Now I am with the Straw Hats, and I’m happy. After I realized the Polar Tang left, I gained a new perspective on life, which led me to them, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.” You paused, looking back at Law, who had sorrow in his eyes, “Not that I didn’t love being a Heart Pirate, but the Straw Hats, they’re different. They all have amazing dreams and have helped so many people and taught me so much. Now I dream of understanding every island’s ecosystem, and Luffy and the rest of them are helping me achieve that dream.”
Law’s lips twitched, “I… I understand.” He lowered his head and shoved his hand in his pocket. “I’m glad you are happy.”
Nami began waving at you, and you gave a smile. You placed a hand on Law’s shoulder, “I’m glad you told me, and I am sorry for leaving the ship that night.” Law looked up at you with a smile and softer eyes, and something hit your heart. You bit your lip, “God, when I look at you,” You mumbled under your breath.
Law’s eyes lit up, “What was that?”
You licked your lips, “Nothing.” Your eyes scanned his body; he had changed quite a bit but still looked as good as the day you met him. The bags under his eyes had grown, and he had grown a small goatee.
He gave a knowing smirk, “Okay… Well, the Polar Tang is docked at grove 15 if you want to stop by.”
Your heart began to pound at the thought. You knew better; you knew you were still angry, but looking at him again with a different perspective, your anger seemed to just melt away. The person looking back at you wasn’t the person who shouted at you to leave or the person you once called boyfriend, but rather a whole new person.
Nothing made sense anymore; instead, you were looking at him and couldn’t stop imagining him without a top on.
You blushed and coughed, pulling you out of your thoughts, “Maybe I will… I’ve got to go join my crew now. But this was nice.” You started to walk past him, but something overtook you, and you spun around and planted a soft kiss on his cheek before running off to Nami and Robin, who both welcomed you with smiles, showing you what they got.
Law grabbed his cheek in shock, his entire face red. A figure walked up behind him, “Captain?” Law jumped, spinning around to find the giant white polar bear, “Was that y/n?” He asked.
Law spun around to watch you laughing as you showed your new plant to the women. “Yeah, that was y/n.”
The next time Law would see you is as you were running away with your new crew while the fight with the Marines broke out. Law fought every bone in his body not to run after you or use his powers to summon you back to his side. But your laughter with your group prevented him from doing so.
When Law heard the news that the Straw Hats were attacked, his heart dropped, and for the first time in a while, he was concerned for you, a trend that would continue for the next two years. Until he saw your face again in the newspaper, and then when he saw you running down the hallway on the tundra island he had found himself on for information.
Time stopped when his eyes met yours as you skidded to a stop with 20 or so giant kids behind you and your four other crewmates. You changed a lot since you last met, and just like your crewmate Nami, you were wearing very little clothing. After all, you were just on a boiling hot island moments ago.
Law blinked in shock, his jaw literally dropping at the sight of you. You wrapped your arms around yourself, now facing the cold outdoor air, and looked out to see an army of marines. Before Law and you could say anything, Sanji started shouting to turn back, in which you happily agreed, not wanting to get into a fight with the marines.
Law was frozen in shock as he watched you run away.
When chaos on Punk Hazard settled, Law had found himself aboard the same ship as you once again. Your captain and Law had come to an alliance, and the next stop of your destination was Dressrosa to finally take down Law’s biggest enemy. For the most part, you kept your distance, but when the sun lowered and the rest of the crew went to sleep, you found yourself sitting next to him on the deck.
“I was wondering when you would come talk to me,” Law spoke, his voice raspy with tiredness.
“I’m starting to wonder if it was a bad idea to,” you said, crossing your arms.
“And yet here you are,” Law smiled, looking over you, “You look good.”
You had changed a lot over the two years, finally embracing your curse and allowing parts of your body to turn green and mossy, including your hair, which was now pure moss with small mushrooms. That quickly stopped the moss-head jokes from Sanji to Zoro, afraid he would offend you.
“Thanks,” You smiled, “You do too.” You looked over him, and he had changed a bit since you last saw him. You bit your lip, thinking about how much better he looked after two years and how much you still wished for him to remove his shirt.
Law smirked, seeing the look in your eyes you used to give him before you started to date. The look of desire.
He quickly looked away before his eyes began to wander, “I see your hair is now green,” He quickly changed the subject.
You pulled at your hair, “Yeah, for the past two years, I have been on an island with a bunch of plant witches. They kinda helped me accept my curse and build its power.”
“So it’s not going to kill you?” he asked.
You shook your head, “Nope, gonna live a long, adventurous life.”
Law nodded, “That’s good.”
You jumped up, “Yeah, and I can do this now!” You raised your hand, and a plant started to bloom from the grass-covered deck. A fruit bloomed from the small plant, and Law held his hand out as an apple dangled from the tip of the plant. Law gently plucked it and took a bite.
“Wow!” He said with his mouth full, “That is extremely useful.”
You smiled brightly, “Thanks, it’s the only reason Nami lets me tend to her orange groves.”
Law blushed as he looked down at the apple, “God, your smile still gets me every time.”
This time, you blushed, “What was that?” you asked.
Law looked up at you, his eyes shining in the moonlight, “Just, god, when I look at you, my heart just starts pounding, and my thoughts don’t make sense.”
You breathed in a sharp breath, not sure what to say, as your own heart and thoughts were doing the same.
“I haven’t stopped thinking about you since that day on Sabaody,” He admitted, quickly looking away, blushing. When you stood silent for too long, he stood up, “Forget it! It was a bad idea anyway.”
Law started to storm off, but you reached out, grabbing his arm, yanking him back before pulling him into a deep kiss. “I’ve been thinking about you too,” You admitted, pulling away. Law looked shocked but relaxed as he leaned in for another kiss, holding the back of your head to keep you close. You took a step back to take a breath, “The couch in the lounge is very comfy,” You suggested as you pulled at his sleeves.
Law hungrily allowed you to pull him into the lounge, kicking the door closed behind him as he dove into another kiss.
The next morning, you woke up on the couch of the lounge with clothing scattered everywhere. You quickly gathered your own before running out and into the kitchen. Your heart was pounding as you leaned against the door. “Fuck,” You mumbled, “That was a bad idea.”

okay, so, roman and sierra have kind of been living in my head rent free lately, but i lowkey don’t want the pressure of starting a whole new series from scratch when my baby, ‘nights like this’ has been neglected for a fat minute…
so, i’ve decided i’ll most likely continue ‘bad idea’ as a series of different/random one-shots (which will most likely be in non-chronological order) if that makes sense.

Tripped and fell into his bed...
Pt 1.Bad Idea right?, Pt 2 - Tripped and fell into his bed
Smut +18 MDI, Wrap it before you tap it (Surppries!) Male!Reader x Luke
Y/n and his friends are at the bar again.
The air was thick with the smell of stale beer and sweat as Y/n and his friends crowded around the jukebox, arguing over what song to play next. It was just another night at their favorite dive bar, and they were determined to make it memorable. Y/n was definitely more than tipsy, and you could tell by his flushed face, slurred speech, and the way he kept losing his balance that he was having a good time.
Out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of a familiar number flashing on his phone screen. It was Luke, his ex. They hadn't spoken since the messy breakup a few months ago, and Y/n had been doing his best to avoid him. But tonight, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of curiosity. He looks around at all of his friends and orders another drink from the bar tender, a girl to his left twirling her hair around her finger, flirting and fluttering her eyelashes at him.
He unlocks his phone and sees the text from Luke: "Hey, you. It's been a while. I've been thinking about you. Can I call you later?" His heart skips a beat and his palms start to sweat. Part of him wants to ignore it, pretend like it never came in, but another part of him can't help but feel a tugging at his chest. He types back a short reply, "i'll think about it"
The rest of the night passes in a blur of laughter, music, and more drinks. When the clock strikes two, and the bar begins to empty out, Y/n finds himself outside with his friends planning to go to a strip club, his brain was already buzzing though, like static was playing in his brain, and he just couldn't focus.
So he does what another friend does and follows them to the club, stumbling after them as they laugh and talk loudly down the street. He tugs his flannel off and ties it around his waist, trying to cool himself off.
As they enter the club, the flashing lights and loud music assault their senses, and Y/n feels a wave of nausea wash over him. He leans against the wall, trying to steady himself as he watches his friends make their way through the crowd towards the stage. The dancers gyrate and spin, their bodies on display for the leering men around them, and Y/n can't help but feel a pang of sadness for them.
He tries to push these thoughts aside, reminding himself that he's here to have a good time, but the more he drinks, the harder it becomes. The air grows thick with the smell of sweat and desperation, and he can't shake the feeling that something isn't quite right. As he wanders aimlessly through the club, his gaze drifts towards the exit, before he could make his way over a friend pulls him over by the arm to the rest of his friends that were gathered around a woman dancing on a pole.
"Dude, come check this out! This chick is amazing!" Y/n's friend practically shouts into his ear, jerking his arm roughly. Reluctantly, he pulls away and follows their gaze to where they're all staring. A tall, curvy woman with long, dark hair is spinning on the pole, her body moving in fluid motions that seem to defy gravity. She catches Y/n's eye and smiles seductively, beckoning him closer. His friends notice and push him closer to her, laughing and egging him on.
"Come on, Y/n! Have a good time!" His friend shouts over the music, slapping him on the back. With a sigh, Y/n moves closer to the stage, feeling the weight of his inhibitions pressing down on him. As he watches the dancer, something about her movement is different from the others. There's a grace and fluidity that's almost hypnotic. She catches his eye again, her lips parting in a smile.
He gets another notification on his phone and glances down to see another message from Luke. It was just his new address, a simple, "Thought you might want this." Y/n's heart skips a beat again, but this time it's different. There's something… hopeful about it. He doesn't respond this time instead he tells his friends he's going to the bathroom but he slips out the clubs door instead.
Outside, the cool night air feels good on his skin, and he takes a deep breath, trying to clear his head. He walks to his car, unlocks it, and sinks into the driver's seat. He glances at his phone again, still undecided about what to do about Luke's messages. As he sits there, staring at the club in the distance, he can't help but feel a little guilty about leaving his friends there, he brushes it off though and starts his car up.
He text his friends that he's going home because he doesn't feel good and going to get some sleep, and then he turns his phone off. He takes a deep breath and starts the car, then he decides to drive to the address Luke had sent him. It's an apartment complex not far from the club, fairly fancy. He parks his car and walks up the steps hesitating for a second.
He's nervous but his blood has liquid courage in it so he knocks anyway. when the door opens and reveals a shirtless Luke he can't even remember why he broke up with him in the first place. He looks even better without a shirt on, his muscles gleaming in the dim light of the hallway.
"Got your text…" Y/n mumbles as his eyes trace down Luke's front following his happy trail to where it disappears into his jeans. His face flushes and Luke smirks. "You gonna come in?" he offers, stepping aside to let him in.
"I…don't know why I'm here…" Y/n replies, feeling the alcohol in his system making it hard to think straight. He shake his head trying to clear his head, "I just… I wanted to see where you were living… and… and I wanted to talk to you."
"Talk?" Luke's smirk turns into a smile, "You never want to just talk, Y/n. You always have a hidden motive."
"Fine." Y/n snaps, "I just wanted to tell you that we shouldn't do this anymore. That's all. That's all I needed to say." He turns to leave but Luke stops him with a hand on his arm.
"But you're here, aren't you?" Luke's voice is softer now, "That means something."
Y/n looks at the hand on his arm and swallows hard. He can feel the warmth of Luke's skin, and his heart starts to race. "Yeah, I know." He says finally, "It's just… I don't know if I can do this again."
They sit down on the couch, the room spinning slightly around Y/n. Luke's apartment is messy, but it's a comfortable mess. Like he's lived here for a while and just hasn't had the energy to clean. There's a pile of laundry in the corner and empty takeout containers on the coffee table.
"I've missed you." Luke says finally, his thumb tracing circles on Y/n's hand. "A lot."
Y/n can't bring himself to look at him. "You hurt me, Luke." He whispers, "A lot."
"I know. And I'm sorry." Luke's voice is earnest, "But I've changed. I've had time to think and I know what I want now."
"What do you want?" Y/n asks, his voice hoarse.
"I want you." Luke says simply, "I want us to work. I want to be the person you need."
Y/n sighs, "But what if you're not?"
"Then I'll try harder." Luke leans in, his breath warm against Y/n's cheek, "I'll keep trying until I get it right."
Why didn't you try then?
The room is spinning faster now, and Y/n can feel the pull of Luke's proximity. The scent of him, the heat of his body, it's all so familiar and yet so alien. "I don't know if I can trust you again." He admits.
"You don't have to trust me now." Luke says, "You just have to give me a chance to earn it back."
Y/n looks into Luke's eyes, searching for the truth. They're filled with a mix of hope and sadness, and he can see that Luke is being sincere. He doesn't know if it's the alcohol or the nostalgia, but he feels something give way inside of him. He leans in, and before he knows it, their lips are pressed together in a kiss that's hungry and desperate.
It's like all the anger and pain from their breakup is being washed away in the heat of the moment. They kiss for what feels like an eternity, until Y/n's head is swimming and he has to pull back for air.
"Okay." He says, "I'll give you a chance. But if you mess this up again…" Y/n trails off, not quite sure what the consequences would be but knowing that he couldn't go through another heartbreak.
"You won't have to worry about that." Luke whispers, leaning in to kiss him again. This time it's slower, more deliberate. Y/n's heart is racing, and he can feel his resolve slipping away.
They move to the bedroom, the floor littered with clothes and the bed unmade. But Y/n doesn't care. He's been craving this contact for months, and the feel of Luke's skin against his is like coming home. They undress each other clumsily, fumbling with buttons and zippers, eager to feel more of each other.
Their bodies intertwine on the bed, and Y/n can't help but let out a soft moan as Luke's hand trails down his chest. He's missed this so much. The way Luke's hands know exactly where to touch him, how to make him feel alive. He wraps his arms around Luke's neck, pulling him closer, deepening the kiss.
Their kiss grew more urgent as their hands began to explore each other's bodies. Y/n felt the warmth of Luke's skin beneath his fingertips, his muscles tensing and relaxing in response to his touch. Luke's hands roamed over Y/n's back, tracing the line of his spine down to the small of his waist, where he gently pulled him closer.
They broke apart for a moment, panting, their eyes searching for a silent confirmation that this was what they both wanted. Finding it, Y/n leaned in again, this time more confidently, and deepened the kiss. Their tongues danced together as they slowly began to undress each other, their movements deliberate and purposeful.
The coolness of the room contrasted with the heat between them as they removed their shirts, revealing the toned chests that had once been so intimately acquainted. Luke's hands traveled up Y/n's arms, pushing the fabric over his shoulders and down his back. Y/n returned the favor, feeling the warmth of Luke's skin and the smoothness of his chest.
They continued to kiss as they unbuckled each other's belts and unzipped their pants. Their breath grew heavier, their bodies pressing closer together as the layers of clothing fell away. The sound of their clothes dropping to the floor was a soft echo in the otherwise silent room.
Finally, they were both naked, their bodies entwined as they lay down on the bed. The softness of the sheets brushed against their skin as they rolled over each other, their hands never stopping their exploration. Luke's mouth traveled down Y/n's neck, leaving a trail of hot kisses that made him shiver with pleasure.
Y/n's hands found their way to Luke's firm thighs, his fingers digging into the muscle as Luke's lips moved to his chest. The sensation was stimulating, and Y/n could feel his body responding, his arousal growing with every touch.
Without a word, Luke shifted his position, moving down the bed. His eyes never left Y/n's as he took him in his mouth, the warmth and wetness of his mouth sending shockwaves of pleasure through Y/n's body. He moaned, his head falling back into the pillow, as Luke's skilled tongue worked its magic.
Y/n's hips began to buck, his body moving in a rhythm that was impossible to resist. Luke's grip on his thighs tightened, holding him in place as he took him deeper. The pleasure was intense, and Y/n could feel his climax building, the tension coiling in his lower belly.
As Y/n's moans grew louder, Luke pulled away, his eyes smoldering with desire. "Do you want me inside you?" he whispered, his voice thick with want.
Y/n nodded, unable to form words, his breath coming in gasps. Luke reached for the bedside drawer, his hand shaking slightly as he retrieved a bottle of lube. He coated his fingers, then slid them down between Y/n's legs, teasing his entrance before pushing in gently.
The sensation was exquisite, and Y/n's body responded eagerly, his muscles relaxing to accept Luke's touch. Luke stroked him slowly, watching Y/n's face intently, reading every expression of pleasure. When he was ready, Luke positioned himself, the head of his erection nudging against Y/n's entrance.
With a deep breath, Y/n nodded again, and Luke pushed inside, filling him completely. They both groaned at the sensation, the feeling of being connected after so long apart. Luke began to move, setting a steady rhythm that had Y/n's hips rising to meet him.
Their bodies moved in unison, the only sounds in the room their gasps and moans. The rain outside had picked up, now a soothing white noise that complemented the rhythmic slap of skin on skin.
Y/n wrapped his legs around Luke's waist, pulling him closer, deeper. He could feel the familiar tingle in his spine, the signal that he was close. "I'm going to come," he managed to say, his voice strained with passion.
"Me too," Luke grunted, his pace increasing.
Their climaxes hit them simultaneously, their bodies tightening and releasing in a symphony of pleasure. They held onto each other tightly, their hearts racing, as they rode the waves of ecstasy together.
As they lay there, panting and tangled in the sheets, the rain outside had turned into white noise, a comforting reminder of the outside world that was temporarily forgotten.
Just tripped and fell into his bed...

It's a bad idea, Right? Law's POV
GIF by apparently-artless
Story Summary: You and Law had a bad break up a year ago now you have ran into each other at Sabaody. Not only do you learn your break up was a huge misunderstanding but your feeling for each other quickly return. You know its a bad idea to reconnect with your old captain but there's just something about him.
A/N: After writing the first part of this I could not get the idea of Law's POV out of my head so here it is. Hope you enjoy!
Law x StrawHat!Reader

Law walked behind his three active crewmates, who were jumping from stall to stall, excited to be on Sabaody Island. Law smirked, watching them happily explore.
Law froze in his path when he heard a voice he recognized, a voice he hadn’t heard in almost a year. He turned his head slowly to confirm his suspicion. There you were, the person he had been looking for the past year. You were just as beautiful as the day he met you, and your smile was brighter than he could remember.
He knew it was a bad idea. You had left him; you didn’t want to be found. But when he looked at you, his mind raced, and his feet started to move on their own. He walked to the stall next to the one you were at, making sure to stay out of your eye line. You were browsing the plants they had for sale, an interest of yours he was glad you hadn’t lost. It wasn’t until he heard your laugh that his heart started to beat again. He needed you back; he needed to speak to you. So when he heard the shopkeeper sell you a scam, he couldn’t help but speak up.
“What a scam. The plant won’t even produce the bubbles outside of this Archipelago,” he scoffed.
Law’s heart immediately stopped again, afraid of what you were going to say or do. You stiffened before slowly turning your head to face him, your eyes pierced his own, filled with shock and anger.
His hand twitched at his side, ready to reach out to you to keep you from running, but a flicker of light entered your eyes, and for a moment, time froze, and Law thought you wouldn’t run.
And then your head snapped back, you threw berries at the shopkeeper, grabbed the plant, and started to storm away.
“Wait!” Law shouted, his hand moving upwards, wanting to grab you to pull you close. “Y/N!” His voice cracked slightly, and his fingers brushed your arm, but he couldn’t bring himself to grab your arm to hold you back.
His arm was yanked back when you quickly spun around to face him, “What do you want?” you asked coldly.
Law’s thoughts grew tangled. What did he want? Did he selfishly want you back? Did he want to explain the truth? “I just… I haven’t… You… I…” He tried to speak, to find the right words. He took a deep breath, looking over you, and the words that came out were the only thing he could think of when seeing you again, “You look good.”
You scoffed, “That’s it? It’s been a year since you left me on that island, and all you have to say is, ‘You look good’?” You shook your head, and the lump in his throat tightened again.
That's what he thought, that he left you on purpose, that he didn’t care about you, that he hated you. “I… Uh…” He tried to speak, to plead that he didn’t leave you, that it was an accident.
His thoughts shot back to a year ago when you stormed out of his office after he kicked you out. He placed his head on his desk, a tear falling down his face. He was losing you; he sensed it. If it wasn’t due to the curse, then it would be him and his stubbornness that would cause him to lose you. He loved you but had yet to admit it because everything he had ever loved met a terrible end.
Law sighed, sliding all his notes off the desk and into his trash can. You were right, there is no cure for the curse, and you seem to start to enjoy the plus sides of the curse. The curse itself is only a curse to devil fruit users, as the fungus would in theory choke out the devil fruit, in turn killing the user. You didn’t know this at the time but still jumped in front of him, taking on the curse. The fungus grew inside you and started to choke out your organs. Law was trapped with his own fears, watching you collapse, unable to breathe. Law was able to slow the fungus growth, but it was hugged so tightly on your heart that if he removed it, it would kill you.
There haven't been any signs of the fungus growing, but the image of you on the ground coughing blood was trapped in his nightmares. That fear controlled him.
Before he could continue to spiral, the Polar Tang harshly lurched.
Law was on his feet, running to the bridge. The Marines had found them. There was a Marine ship right in front of the Polar Tang, and they had their cannons pointed right at the sub. “What are they doing!” Law shouted, seeing this. “We are docked at a town! Are they planning on destroying the town as well?” His crew was flooding into the bridge, ready to follow orders. “Get out of range of the island and then submerge!” Law ordered.
The sub sprung to life, quickly moving across the water before sinking into the water and dashing far away from the island. Law was baffled at the Marines and their actions, “They would destroy an entire town just to take down one pirate ship,” Law grumbled, voicing his anger and slamming a fist into the metal wall, leaving a dent. The crew watched carefully, keeping their distance from their enraged captain. Each of them looked at each other, wondering where you were and why you weren’t calming him down.
Law stormed back into his quarters. He looked over at his bed, almost expecting to see you sitting on the bed to talk some sense into him. But you weren’t there, and he remembered why; he kicked you out. Law sighed before collapsing on his bed, shoving his face into the pillow you tended to prefer.
The next day, Law went about his day, and you still had not made an appearance, and Law began to worry. Law figured you were just extremely pissed at him and were keeping your distance.
It wasn’t until Ikkaku approached him, asking if you were with him since you never returned to your shared room last night.
Law’s heart tightened, and he called for a search. The entire crew was searching the ship for you, but there were no signs of you.
Law ordered that they returned to the island, and the crew split up, asking everyone if they had seen you. At the end of the day, Law ended up in the bar with his head lowered, drinking his sorrows away.
Law threw himself into a seat at the bar, grumbling his order. The bartender never brought his order out but stood in front of him, glaring. “What’s your problem?” he grumbled, clearly not in the mood to deal with the bartender.
“You’re that Law guy?” The bartender stated dryly.
“Yeah, what of it? Don't you serve pirates here?” Law stood up, slamming on the bar.
The bartender scoffed, “No, we serve pirates, they’re the best spenders. We don’t serve asshole ex-boyfriends who abandon their partners.”
Law paused, his eyes widening and shaking, “What are you talking about?” Law asked in shock as the puzzles started to fall into place.
The bartender shook their head, “Y/N was here last night before finding out that you took off, leaving them here.” They went to turn around, but Law jumped over the bar, grabbing the bartender’s shirt, pulling them closer.
“Where are they?!” He asked gruffly, not caring about the opinions of the people around him, only about your safety and return.
The bartender shoved Law off them, “Far away from here and far away from you.” They spit in his face, clearly forming their own image of Law and his actions.
Law recognized this and took a step back, “Listen clearly, you have an idea about me, but I did not ‘abandon’ Y/N, I would never. I just want their safe return.”
“What a liar.” A voice scoffed from behind him.
Law whipped his head around to find the entire bar was now glaring at him, holding their weapons and watching carefully.
Law slowly sat down, sensing the growing aggression. He turned back to the bartender. His brain began to swarm. After your fight, you must have left the ship, and while the marines attacked and he made the decision to leave, you were off the ship and unaware. A lump formed in his throat; the last words he said to you were, ‘get out’. He couldn’t blame you to think he had left you. “Are they safe?” Law asked as sincerely as he could, lowering his eyes, “Please, I need to know. And I need them to know I didn’t leave them.” Tears began to form in his eyes. You were right; he pushed you away, and for good this time.
The bartender looked at him, unsure, sensing the truth in his words. “I can’t tell you where they went other than they don’t want to be found. You hurt them… a lot… But they are somewhere safe. I can’t help you further.” The bartender slid a glass filled with the drink he ordered towards him before walking away. Law grabbed the back of his head, looking down at the drink in front of him as tears dripped into it. You were gone, and you didn’t want to be found. He pushed you away.
Tears formed in Law’s eyes, and he thought back to that day, and he looked at your angered face.
“Just what I thought,” You scoffed, turning away, again.
He can’t let you leave again not without knowing the truth. “Wait! Please!” He begged, “I didn’t mean to leave you. I didn’t know.”
He watched you straighten up, freezing in your steps. “What is that supposed to mean?” You finally asked.
Law brightened up, a flicker of hope lighting inside him, “I didn’t know you left the ship,” He quickly jumped to explaining. “After our fight, I didn’t know you left the ship, and then the marines attacked, and we left in a hurry. If I knew you left the ship that night, I would have never left.” He rushed, afraid you would take off, “I came back!” He shouted his last plead.
You slowly turned back to face him, Law sighed in relief, you believed him there is still a chance he can get you back, “The moment I found out you weren’t on the Tang, I immediately turned back to find you, but you were gone. I searched everywhere for you until a bartender told me you didn’t want to be found.”
You shook your head, “You came back?”
Law nodded, “I would never leave you like that.” He looked at you, filled with sorrow that he made you feel that way, “I’m so sorry.”
Law watched you take a deep breath before your shoulder relaxed and a smile crossed your lips, “You know what? I forgive you.”
You forgive him, that statement hit Law hard he didn’t know how badly he needed to hear that. “You do?” He sucked in a hopeful breath, Maybe this wasn’t a bad idea that his apology will bring you back.
You nod and Law heart started to beat heavily awaiting your next words.
“I mean, it was a shitty thing to do, and I felt shitty for so long.” You started to explain, “But now, I am with the Straw Hats, and I’m happy. After I realized the Polar Tang left, I gained a new perspective on life, which led me to them, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.” You paused, Law kept quite letting your words sink in feeling like he was never able to give you what you truly needed, “Not that I didn’t love being a Heart Pirate, but the Straw Hats, they’re different. They all have amazing dreams and have helped so many people and taught me so much. Now I dream of understanding every island’s ecosystem, and Luffy and the rest of them are helping me achieve that dream.”
The lump in his throat loosened a little while he was still sad at the realization you would not be joining him again but he felt lighter knowing you are happy and safe.
Law’s lips twitched, “I… I understand.” He lowered his head and shoved his hand in his pocket. “I’m glad you are happy.”
You smiled and Law’s heart fluttered you took a step towards him and Law wanted nothing more than to wrap his arms around you and carry you back to his ship but he knew he couldn’t, you had to go on your own. You placed a hand on his shoulder and he looked at your eyes and couldn’t help but return the smile. “God, when I look at you.” You mumbled under your breath.
Law barely heard the word but he did. The words held a lot meaning behind it. That you still found him attractive and he could tell by the look in your eyes the same look you gave whenever he remove his shirt, or when he was doing something particularly attractive.
“What was that?” He asked hoping to get you to say the words again.
“Nothing.” You said and Law smirked for some reason that answer was better than anything else he could of thought you to say.
“Okay…” He teases, “Well, the Polar Tang is docked at grove 15 if you wanted to stop by.”
He gave you the offer the opportunity to come to him by your own decision now that you knew the truth.
Law smirk grew when he watched the blush on your cheek grow and coughed, “Maybe I will.. I’ve got to go join my crew now.” You spoke quickly and turned to look at the people behind him but he could care less you were still here in front of him, “But this was nice.” You smiled before taking a step forward to walk past him but you quickly spun around and your lips pushed against his cheek.
Law’s thought stopped and the feeling of your lips on him lit something inside him again and he felt like he was flying. When you left running toward your crew mates he raised his hand to his cheek hoping to hold the feeling there. His entire face lit up red as he watched you run off with your beautiful smile and playful skip. He was once again hopelessly in love with you.
“Captain?” A voice asked behind him, causing him to jump, shaking him out of his thought. Law spins around to see his large fluffy brother, Bepo, “Was that y/n?” He asked.
Law turned back with a smile, watching you hold up your new plant to the two women of the Straw Hats. “Yeah, that was y/n” He smiles.
Law happy thoughts were quickly replaced with worry as the day continue first the marines had surrounded the building that you all found yourself in. Then you went running off with your new crew. Every bone in his body want to run after you or to hold you back and keep you by his side but his mind wouldn’t let him knowing you are happy and your laughs that echoed across the battle field nailed that into him.
Then Law later learned that your crew was attacked and defeated, no where to be found. Law heart sunk so far into his chest you were gone again and somewhere he could find. At least when he found out you were a Straw Hat he knew where you were and that you were safe. Now he has no idea if you are even alive.
Law took this sorrow and concern with him until 2 years later when he saw in the papers a photo of all the Staw Hats with you smiling in the center that his heart was lifted again.
Not long after he was shocked to see your face in person busting out the door of a remote frozen island he has been hiding at.
Time stopped when his eyes met yours. You were different, older, stronger, and barely dressed in the freezing cold. Law jaw dropped in shocked but completely frozen unable to move or think. All his thoughts went blank and his only thoughts was you and you being right in front of him again.
Before Law could say or do anything you and the rest of you crew took off down the hallway.
Law kept missing you until the chaos on Punk Hazard finally came to a close Law found himself on the same ship as you waiting for you to take the approach to him.
Law slowly becomes less hopeful as you continue to avoid him. Maybe he was wrong thinking after your last conversation that you would want him back.
But finally when the sun set and the entire crew fell asleep your figure sat next to him.
“I was wondering when you would come talk to me,” Law spoke, his voice raspy with tiredness.
“I’m starting to wonder if it was a bad idea to,” you said, crossing your arms.
“And yet here you are,” Law smiled, looking over you, “You look good.”
You smiled back at him, “Thanks, You do too.” Law smirked when he saw you bite you lip and give the same look that has been in his dreams.
His eyes wonder to your hair, “I see your hair is now green,” A small ping of worry floods though his body again, your curse was taking over you body again, but he smiled though it.
You pulled at your mossy green hair with little mushrooms and flowers blooming in it, “Yeah, for the past two years, I have been on a island with a bunch of plant witches. They kinda helped me accept my curse and build its power.”
“So it’s not going to kill you?” he asked.
You shook your head, “Nope, gonna live a long, adventurous life.”
Law sighed with relief, his worry falling away, “That’s good.”
You jumped up, “Yeah, and I can do this now!” You raised your hand, and a plant started to bloom from the grass-covered deck. A fruit bloomed from the small plant, and Law held his hand out as an apple dangled from the tip of the plant. Law gently plucked it and took a bite.
“Wow!” He said with his mouth full, “That is extremely useful.” Law’s heart fluttered, watching you smile brightly.
“Thanks, it’s the only reason Nami lets me tend to her orange groves.”
Law blushed as he looked down at the apple, “God, your smile still gets me every time.”
“What was that?” You asked, tilting your head at him.
Law looked up, locking his eyes with yours, “Just, god, when I look at you, my heart starts pounding, and my thoughts don’t make any sense.”
You breathed in a sharp breath, and Law smirked, he knew he got you and his only thoughts were you and getting you back. “I haven’t stopped thinking about you since that day on Sabaody,” He admitted, but when he look at you frozen in though he knew he made a mistake, he jumped the gun, he was moving too fast. Law quickly stood up, regretting his advances, you have no reason to come back to you not after everything he has done. “Forget it! It was a bad idea anyways.”
He quickly spun on his feet, ready to storm off, but your hand wrapped around his arm, causing him to stop. You yanked his arm back, and he followed the movement as he spun into you and your lips collided. Law thoughts stopped as he deepened into the kiss.
You pushed back slightly, and Law leaned forward, wishing for more. “I’ve been thinking about you too,” You admitted, and Law’s heart fluttered before leaning back into the kiss, holding you close, “The couch in the lounge is very comfy,” You suggested, pulling away from the kiss again.
You grabbed his hand and started to pull him to a door, but he didn’t care; his only focus was on you.
When you both entered the room, Law kicked the door closed behind you before leaning forward, pulling you close into another kiss until you made your way to the couch.
The next morning, Law woke up alone on the couch. You and your clothing were missing, while his was scattered on the floor. Law sighed, pulling his clothing back on.

Bad Idea, Right?
An Eris x Reader drabble
(Part 2) (Part 3)
Warnings: a bit smutty, language

“Your dad’s going to kill you.”
My head was pounding. This bed was so warm.
Last night was a blur.
Nyx, how many times do I have to request that you not intrude on my thoughts before 9 am.
“It’s almost noon, cousin.”
Shit!
Shit, cover for me! Please.
“I told you this was a bad idea.”
Right. I know. Cover for me anyway?
“One hour. Be here in one hour. You owe me.”
Don’t worry, Nyxie. I’ll cover for you the next time you visit the lovely daughter of Spring.
Slamming my mental shields up, I rolled over to the fiery lover next to me with a groan, “Get me out of this autumnal wasteland.”
“Good morning to you too, little one.” the redhead pressed against my backside grumbled.
I rolled over to smack his shoulder. “Gross, Eris. I’m the same age as Aunt Nesta when you proposed to her.”
Eris smirked. “She never called me daddy like you do.”
I let out a mirthful laugh, hoisting myself on top of him, straddling just below his rippled abdomen, “I’m never fucking you again.”
“You say that every time, dear.” Gripping his hands on my hips, groggy voice a whisper, “Yet somehow you keep falling back into my bed.”
Fuck. He was so hot.
I leaned down, pressing my breasts to his bare chest, face just an inch from his. “I can’t help that my shadows love how you beg.”
A growl escaped the back of his throat as my shadows restrained his wrists above his head. My gaze turned icy as I commanded, “Eyes on me, Eris.”
His only response a shift of his hips.
“Don’t fucking move.” I purred.
Nyx could keep the family off my back for a little longer.
