So there is a badbatchweek going around, again.

First day: favorite scene.

I just love the beginning, where everything was kind of fine and Echo falling face first into the water.

Day six: Favorite Location

The little corner in Force 99′s quarters, where Tech’s bed and Echo’s hammock are located.  Hammock is always a fun and friendly choice for interior design, and I love this nice resting area for Echo is so close to Tech’s.  It brings some comfortable feeling to think they as best buddies and have cozy conversation while not out for missions.  Kamino is always raining and cloudy, but with friends near by, weather seems doesn’t matter anymore.

I realized that all my answers for @bad-batch-week were pretty similar, so I made this to answer every prompt! (Exception being my favorite location, which is of course Pantora, the pretty planet.) Merry Christmas Eve!

I just realized that I had never submitted my Star Wars fan artwork here on Tumblr! I have been incredibly absent-minded (and in a total brain fog, "thanks" to my chronic pain/illness of Fibromyalgia) these past two years. But this year - especially with time trying to rival the speed of light - really has not made me the brightest star in the sky. Ha ha! From here on out, I will do my bet to update my Tumblr & also check out the pages of those (who have liked my artwork) and explore Tumblr more. I really thank all of you who have liked & re-posted/shared my work here on Tumblr. It really does mean a lot to me & I am especially elated that my last submission (of the Sunagakure siblings) has done extremely well. Thank you x100! <3 I wish I knew how to respond to your re-posts/sharing and comments!

I drew this for Instagram's #badbatchweek (which was last week). I have been a huge Star Wars fan all my life & these past 10 years there has been so many Star Wars series that have come out. It's such a delight! However, as big of a fan as I am of the SW universe, I rarely do SW fan artwork because for me, sci-fi is incredibly hard for me to draw. There is a lot of armour in SW and the people are either real-life actors or have that CG look. It's one thing to draw anime character & make them look more detailed, but it's a whole other world when trying to draw more realistic characters. I'm happy with how this came out. The armour was a challenge but I had fun making it look battle damaged.

This was drawn with Sakura Pigma Micron pens & then coloured in with Copic Markers. The solid red & black background was done with Ohuhu Markers.

I LOVE Clone Force 99, so when The Bad Batch came out, I was tickled to death. It has been wonderful to see the character development. While I do love all the guys (even though Crosshair is Grumpy McGrumperson & a traitor! Lol!), Tech is my favourite. He is my husbando (besides Obi Wan Kenobi, who is my 1st husbando. Ha ha ha!) Hunter is a strong leader and makes a great father/brother figure. Wrecker is a big brute with his love for explosions but he's really a sweetie. Poor Echo is like a cyborg...I feel bad for that man!

Day two: Favorite Dynamic

Omega and Wrecker

There are so many dynamics I love.  For example, Hunter and Tech, Echo and Omega, etc.  I think the most interesting dynamic will be Omega and Wrecker.  Wrecker is the big kid in the team.  Unlike other members who are taking mission seriously and working like soldiers, he love to be loud and playful. However, with Omega in the team, Wrecker realized the need to keep calm and be protective for this kid.   In S1E3 during the crash landing, Wrecker comedically yelled  “We’re gonna die! We’re gonna die!  We’re gonna-- (saw Omega’s scared face)-- BE FINE!”   During these few seconds he learned how to act as a grow up.  

I think in the future of this show, Wrecker will gain a lot positive character developments with Omega.

Day *cough* 6 how it should have ended?

I am really proud of the background and due to time problems without much Shadows, playing around with styles and perspective.

Anyways, we didn't get this ending in season 2 but maybe season 3 will give us an ending we deserve (and I'm always for closing happy ends) ^^°

Day five: Favorite Story Arc

S1E12 I didn’t find any strong inspiration with this one, but thinking the arc in S1E12 was fun.

Two girls piloted for first time and made big unexpected explosions. How cool was that!

So, I missed day 4 (favorite mission) and day 5 (how it should have ended) is still in the work. And day 6 (favorite season) will be skipped.

The reason is, I didn't manage to get everything ready in time (because of life) and I haven't any idea what to draw for day 4 and 6 and how to visualize this. I cannot decide for a mission and how do you show my fav season???

But it's a good training for me XD

I just wanted to say, that I am excited for the bad batch week :D

This show deserve a little bit more love.

I’m totally into #starwarsthebadbatch and I really like the relationship between Omega und Echo. They have a kind of mentor student relationship and after a long training session they fell asleep.
