sorry but I'm really at the point where when I hear people responding to suggestions for day to day environmentalism with "well you know the big corporations-" all I really hear is um well I don't wanna!

#good fucking lord #some of you have NEVER heard of supply and demand #literally never #and like people will say hey maybe try meatless monday :)#and people will be like UM WELL DO YOU KNOW HOW BAD SOY IS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT #christ!!!!#yah the billionaires aren't gonna stop being terrible and big companies are dumping plastic into the ocean as we speak #but that doesn't mean that your personal choices and actions have zero affect #you don't exist in a vacuum created by big corporations taking the blame for everything. sorry.#especially with ai and stuff GOD it makes me so angry #did you know by simply not using ai for everything you're actively saving water #because you are!#also hey maybe if we all banded together in these day to day choices we could make a big enough impact that in turn these #big corporations yall want to blame everything for make changes too. just in case you've never considered that #lilly talks #enviromentalism #global warming #pollution #anti ai #ai #a lot of you have become complacent and you won't even admit it #and it's not like the people who say this stuff are going out and protesting. they just don't want to!#they've simply found a good scapegoat for their lack of care and dedication #feminism
