Blink surprise demo update!!!!!

Hi Guys,

Surprise! 🎉

Have the update a week early. I was looking over what was left to do and realised I only had a couple of options left to be written, so I might or might not have stayed up all night and written them and then spent the morning testing and doing a quick read-through.

The update includes the official end of the mansion infiltration. It is also in a separate file, so saves should still work; you might just need to get through the prologue, but after that, hopefully, you will be able to jump to the last save.

The next update will be the end of the chapter; I don't have a date in mind for release, but it should be a lot quicker, as it will be a bit more linear.

I may be pointing out something completely obvious, but Round 7 takes place immediately after Round 6?

Like immediately after.

Hyuna is still there, bleeding. Like it's so unlikely that Mizi and Hyuna have just been roaming for days. Like after round 6, it's been maybe a few hours at most?

My thoughts are a mess rn but damn that sucks for Till if that's true (not that it doesn't suck if it's not).

Ivan dies in front of him, then he has a change of outfit and immediately has to move onto the next Round. No wonder he looks so fatigued, like he's about to pass out at any moment.

Did he even get to eat or drink anything? I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't, but still.

If you help out around the inn, and it isn't super busy, she likes to wrap her arms around your waist and chat

Though, as a customer, she treats you like a total VIP and may or may not sneak a little extra onto your plate (as well as swift kisses to the cheek whenever she swings by your table)

When you hold hands, she tends to swing them a bit because she just can't help but be happy in your presence

Cooking lessons can get a bit touchy, especially if you feign ignorance just to get her guiding hands on yours (or your waist if you're lucky)

Her favorite place to kiss is the tip of your nose

While cuddling, she prefers being the big spoon but also likes to press her whole body weight into you

If no one's around at the inn, and it's just the two of you in the kitchen, she'll back you up against the counter and beg for a kiss with her eyes and a tilt of her head (very persuasive)

Celine:

Will hold your hands between her own with a feather-light touch

Whenever you help her out with the garden, she will sometimes tuck a blossom behind your ear and seal the motion with a kiss

She can be surprisingly sneaky with her kisses, no matter how sweet

She prefers her hugs long and cuddly, with her arms wrapped around your neck

LOVES kissing in the rain! Especially after a sweltering summer's day

No matter how much hair you have, she will try her damnedest to braid it

The two of you have fallen asleep together in the garden too many times to count (and have the sunburns to prove it)

Her favorite place to kiss you is the crown of your head (if you need to lean down, that's okay)

Loves holding hands while cuddling, no matter how far apart you two are on the bed/sofa/etc.

Will press her forehead against yours when you say your goodbyes for the day

Valen:

She has no time to be coy, this woman moves swiftly and efficiently (nor does she have the energy to be ashamed of people's thoughts on your displays of affection)

Whether as a greeting, absentminded movement during a quiet conversation, or to simply surprise you--she loves running her hand up and down your back (free spine examinations?)

Her favorite place to kiss you is the inside of your wrist, and looking into your eyes while doing so

You're getting frequent check-ups that's for sure

Always resting her hand atop yours, as if protectively

Likes her hand on your waist and vice versa

While cuddling, she is more likely to lay back to back with you and intertwine your legs than be super handsy. She still values her space

Will sometimes tap your cheek with her hand if she's feeling playful during your chats

And when she grabs hold of your chin, 9 times out of 10 she'll pull away without planting a kiss on your lips because she does like to be a tease

Juniper:

Loves being treated like a wicked princess, so it's usually her receiving the affection

Enjoys messing with your hair or running her nails across your face with a delighted look in her eyes

Twirling a strand of your hair slowly, teasingly

Her kisses tend to be on the slower side

In public she struggles to show her more "sweet" affection, so it ends up looking more like bullying (but it is nothing but affectionate)

Her favorite place to kiss is beneath your ear or on your neck

Her little experiments now come with the special reward of kisses for your compliancy--never on the lips though, the side effects are for you and you only

While cuddling, she loves intertwining your legs under the covers and resting her hand on your chest

She likes to be a tease, so at the inn she likes to press her legs up against yours under the table

This woman enjoys making you squirm that's for sure

If she's had a little too much wine, she likes to use her teeth (use that as you will)

Blink demo update!!!!!

Hi Guys,

The demo for Blink has been updated with the direct attack route for the mansion; this path doesn't use the same sneaking mechanics but has the new damage system. I was hoping to get both of the remaining paths done, but at the moment I'm getting barely any time to actually write anything. For now I'm going to focus on getting the next part of chapter 1 done and then finishing the final path, as I need a break from that stuff. I also couldn't add the above in a separate file due to the damage mechanic, so sorry to say, but all saves will be gone. I will be changing this for the next update, however.

Okay, ch36 is just gonna be scenes A and B (6200 words in draft), which means ch37 is the in-progress scene C and then [redacted]. Which means the Larys content will end up remixed into ch38. Which means ch39 will probably be the Rhaenyra POV? Depends on how much follow-up/fallout is needed for [redacted].
